President Barack Obama wraps the first foreign trip of his second term Friday with stops in Israel and Jordan before returning to the U.S.
After spending time with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and giving a speech to Israeli youths Thursday, Obama is finishing his trip Friday with a visit to Amman, Jordan and a meeting with King Abdullah II.
Chuck Todd, NBC News’ Chief White House Correspondent and anchor of MSNBC’s “Daily Rundown,” has been traveling with the president and will take to Twitter this morning to answer questions about the trip.
And in the spirit of March Madness, he’ll dish on NCAA basketball brackets as well. (Chuck has his Miami Hurricanes taking the title).
To join the conversation on Twitter, tweet your question for Chuck (@chucktodd) using the hashtag #ChuckToddQuestions. He’ll be answering until 11:30 a.m. ET.

It's so great to know who Chuck picks ....... NOT ! Maybe he can "pick on" the President and get Obama to answer some relevant questions for a change. Maybe he can ask Obama when his budget will be presented to COngress .... you know, the one that was due back in February !!
Again Chuck Todd is showing his disdain of the President. BTW, I too picked IU to win it all.
Ron, I noticed President Obama picked the Hoosiers to win it all! I hope they do, would love to see a Big 10 team win again.
My thought is Chuck Todd should actually ask President Obama relevant questions instead of trying to be cute.
Would someone please call the Waaahmbulance for all the FR lefty liberals who are whining about Chuck Todd not kissing Barry's royal ass just like they do.
The official FR lefty liberal crybaby line starts below at post #3 with the biggest crybaby of all, Nasty DumbFux.
LMFAO!!!!!

My favorite one is the woman calling Whine One One for the Waaahmbulance.
The Hoosiers aren't going to win it this year. Creen will not win a championship until he gets po'd and throws a chair across the court

We all have our hopes and dreams.
Chuck The Incorrigible!....Has a nice ring to it.
I wonder why Chuckie T. thought it was necessary to point out the President looked "tired" last night on NBC Nightly News?
Chuck should stick to his number crunching and leave reading body language to the experts...
I'm tired of his snarky little digs at President Obama!
Maybe because Obama called Chuck out at the press conference in Israel for asking "too many questions", citing that other reporters were doing a better job.
"encouragable" was the word Obama used, I believe.
it was all in good fun though, and I would think that Chuck did not take it the wrong way.
I was wondering if Chuck was planning to renegue on any facial hair bets?
lol
Nice spelling there, JoAnne. More online courses?
Lil Michelle
The word was incorrigible, and I agree, I think Obama and Netanyahu were joking with Todd.

that's right, she "hasn't" been around. Did she get banned or is she using multiple reregs to look like a crowd?
Hey GF!
What is it with Repubican men welching on their bets? lol
Says "it" who claims an IQ of 162...
RIIIIIIGHT!!!!
Bayllie,
She got canned a week or so before the election... lol
Plenty of that going on around here... 4 sure!
HAHAHAHA. Chucky doesn't want to be thrown under the bus by the Libbies because he ask Obama any tough questions, so he will try to redeem himself by going back to the soft ball questions and follow the rules of MSNBC to promote Democrat talking points and propaganda.
Feisty,
I guess that worked out for her after all because she didn't have to face any of us after Mitty got his azz kicked by President Obama.
shouldn't she be discovering another universe (not the parallel one she lives in currently - a real one) or finding cure for cancer?
kinda like Spanky (what happened to him by the way?) climing he's a lawyer but always posting and never "lawyering."
and we are all getting our azz kicked by Obama right now... with just 30% of the country believing we are heading in the right direction...
"encouragable" - I noted that was what I believed I heard Obama say, however I appreciate the correction!
I like Chuck Todd but, like Feisty, find the frequent disrespectful "pokes and digs" aimed at President Obama to be petty, small-minded, nitpicking--unbecoming to a professional journalist.
Instead of mentioning how tired "Mr. Obama" looked along with a brief glimpse, why didn't Todd show President Obama receiving Israel's Presidential Medal of Distinction. Wasn't even mentioned in Chuck Todd's report or on NBC last night. I realize there was other news to report concerning the Colorado shooting but hope they get around to it tonight. Not everyone watches MSNBC or CNN.
They also didn't mention that the "friendship tree" that Obama planted in Israel will be pulled back up, as planting a foreign tree in Israeli soil is "against the law".
No word yet if Obama will get arrested...
LOL, "encouragable"?! I hardly think President Obama and PM Netanyahu were "encouraging" Chuck Todd's behavior--instead, it was a well-orchestrated bi-lateral and humorous smack down of Mr. T.
Correction...the Israeli ministry of agriculture will test the tree but will not remove it at this time.
Little Shelly where do you come up with this crap?
per your source?
More proof that Obama will break any law he chooses, no matter what country.
Obama later explained "what a stupid f*ing law, I planted this tree because it was the 'right thing to do'".
Not everyone watches MSNBC or CNN.

Lil Michelle - you continue to post nothing but nonsense and one liners. Do you even HAVE a brain? Then you make up "quotes" for him. You don't have the intelligence to speak for our President - or any normal person for that matter.
Feisty - I think Todd just ran out of things to say.
Oh my, the Progressive Imperial storm trooper is out and about trolling Lil Michelle again.
@lil Micchelle, how does it feel to have a leg-humper shadowing your every post?
Interesting news of the day: By Executive Order, what else to circumvent Congress, President Obama approves the big gov. right to monitor emails of certain government employees.
Hey MSNBC, how about an article on this next week?
Now for more government waste: $38M taxpayer dollars spent on a grant regarding sex of ducks
FG2,
and I just wasted my time reading your post!

She was just stretching that 162 IQ and getting it ready for the day so she didn't exert too much and pull a hammy!... To be fair though, she thought she heard it as a word that wouldn't have been used in any circumstances in that situation... yeah... riiiight.
As for Chuck Todd... I make it a habit of NEVER trusting a person that has two first names...
FG2: Since the day my employer placed a 128 on my desk they had the right to read my company email. Living in a free country I had the right to walk out. They did not approve of any personal use of their equipment. They were tolerably lax and thus an enjoyable place to work.
I actually like Chuck Todd I think he is fair and asks responsible questions. We should question our leaders and our journalist's should ask the tough questions and keep them honest.
Lil Michelle
if you feel this stronly about Obama's tree, how do you really feel about he Bush/Cheney duo being viewed as war criminals in other countries?
or is your fake "outrage" reserved only for Obama?
Hey Michelle,
Funny how Ballie wants to call you out on your misspelling of a word and in her post she writes:
" climing he's a lawyer "
Now I don't 'clim' to be an expert at spelling or grammar, but, holy smokes, if you are going to call someone out about their spelling, maybe yours should be a little better.
Apparently she feels 'stronly' about it.

It's also been proven that in any busy subway station more eyes will lock onto the burning, crashed train than the other trains that just go about doing their jobs...
Lisa,
I don't need a journalist to tell me someone looks tired, my eyes work just fine!
Instead Chuck should of been reporting on Obama being the first sitting President in history to recieve the Israeli Presidential Medal of Distinction.
Guess it all depends on what we find to be newsworthy...
neverbeenfunnybroad - and never had an original thought either. But again, you prove vulgar and crude are badges you wear proudly. Pathetic Republican - that's you!
Oh Boy FG2, did you really post this, without a snark:
All employers, including big gov, little gov, private, whatever, have the right to monitor what you do with the equipment that they provide you to do your job. That definitely includes a computer!
It's really not funny that you find such requirements by an employer to be an overreach.
You must be unemployed....broke the rules-did ya'?
Keep commenting on the site Dukester! You are an excellent example of the average liberal poster.
As for original thought, when have you ever posted one? You appear to be more comfortable using snarky comments on others.
And thank you for calling me a Republican, which is true. Unfortunately the pathetic isn't true for me Dukester.
Feisty, No need to get all riled up. I can agree that he should have mentioned the Medal of Distinction but overall I like Chuck.
JC in G
I wasn't making fun of her misspelling. I was making fun of her claim that her IQ is 168. Read and understand what you read but thanks for playing.
I don't know why I am hated on this site, it really hurts my feelings!
IQ is 162, btw.
Never trust a person with two first names?? So you don't trust the former president Bill Clinton??
Thanks for that update Bayllie, I sure did misunderstand you.
Looking back at the posts, now I see that you must have known that the next post after yours was going to point out something about IQ. Since you can read the future, it really makes someone with an IQ of of 168 or 162 look pretty simple.
Maybe she was thinking into the future and used the word encouragable because she knew that an encouragable person was going to respond.... Hmmmm. This reading minds and reading into the future always baffles me.
Lil Michelle
my bad, 162...
you make Einstein look stupid since his was "only" 160.
I don't know whether to laugh at you or feel bad for you.
JC in G
one thing I don't do it point out people's misspellings (with some exceptions when it's a total, incomprehensive mess) because I'm a chronic offender and not because I can't spell, I just type too fast and don't proofread (usually multitasking). Not an excuse - I could proofread since I know I do it - but I just wanted to point it out.
what? what the hell are you even talking about?
Just look into the future and see whether laughing or feeling bad has a better outcome.....
well, God made me this way. as much a curse as a gift. just look at Charlie Sheen, tiger blood himself!
Well miss smarty pants. You originally defended yourself as saying that you did not call her out on her misspelling, but on her claim to have a high IQ. No where in this thread does she claim any IQ. In your next post you appeared surprised that it might be someone else via a re-reg who had claimed to have a high IQ. Hmmm. The time-line does not jive. If you are not smart enough to understand this, you probably should not be attacking someone with that high of an IQ.
JC in G
It was really a rhetorical question since I don't actually believe that our Michelle is smarter than Einstein.
I wonder how many people are ditching their association with the republican party, since their party has taken more of the extremist or crazies into their opened arms?
You would think they would want to clean their image up!
JC in G
Are you new here? Do you realize that there are OTHER vines? And that TODAY is not the first day that people have posted? And that some of us remember what others have written/claimed in the past? And that some of us have conversations with each other? And that you might be jumping into a continuation of a conversation?
I get that you jumped into a conversation when you read my post and were eager to point out my hypocrisy. Unfortunately, you didn't get it right and now you are just making crap out for whatever reason. I'm psychic now? Jeezus, let it go...this posting thing is not a brain surgery so you don't need Michelle's IQ to figure it out!
Nice diversion. Thanks for playing.
Watch this, this is what normal people do when they are wrong:
Oops, I was wrong. This apparently was a multi-day conversation about the re-regs. I missed the first part of the conversation. Sorry. Again I was wrong. Please accept my apology for being wrong and for defending Michelle.
JC in G
what diversion? the one where you accused me of being "psychic" and me explaining why I wasn't?
When you admit that your wrong, you admit that you are wrong WITHOUT adding this is what NORMAL PEOPLE DO. By adding an insult to your so-called apology, you're defeating the purpose or simply pretending to apologize - take your pick. Either way, I never looked for an apology from you anyway because there is nothing to apologize for. You wanted to put me in my place for something I didn't do, I explained that but instead of letting it go, you dug further by saying I'm psychic which is just plain silly..
And if you want to defend someone like Michelle, knock yourself out but remember that this "genius" posts things like Obama chooses to break laws in other countries by giving them a tree or that the topic of Gays is just a distraction. Yeah, the rights of gay Americans are just a distraction to our little Michelle. I mean, come on, pick better ones to defend.
Chuck
Why did President Obama agree to participate in the press conference with President Abbas under a banner featuring a major figure of terrorism, Yassir Arafat? What type of signal does that imagery send to the people of Israel?Or is that a concern the President has?Is the President aware Yassir Arafat was a major stumbling block to peace and the reason why the Palestinians have not progressed in terms of economic stability and security?
The President of the Palestinian Authority is Mahmoud Abbas. He is from the same Fatah party that Yassir Arafat started.
Like it or not, peace in the Middle East is going to require working with President Abbas.
...and President Obama had exactly what kind of say on where the press conference was held or what was in the background?
It's simple, Simple. It's their building, Abbas is their chosen leader, the choice of backdrop belongs to the Palestinians, not us. We may view Arafat as a terrorist but the Palestinians see him as a fighter for their cause--a land of their own.
Why did President George W. Bush stand before a "Mission Accomplished" banner when we were years and years from anything accomplished? If you want to nitpick banners, pick one that is actually relevant to us.
@Simple -- The only that is missing from that photo is MISSION ACCOMPLISHED across the shot as Obama throws Americans under the bus. Did you hear the Israeli students heckling Obama?
I wonder if Israel will send us the towing bill for screwing up the limo "the BEAST"... what idiot puts diesel in a car that runs on gas?
This is a car that was flown over for the President, mind you!
So? If they were raping babies and hanging cats would he have entered?
It's called principles, something the left has no clue of.
Bush Derangement Syndrome. I can picture some of you on your deathbeds blaming Bush because you're dying old and nasty.
BTW, since it's obvious you don't know, "we" were not the only ones who recognized he and his organization were terrorist.
I don't "tweet" or twitter, Mr. Todd. If per chance, you look at questions posted on FR, here's mine: Why would you think that a single speech in Cairo would lead to Middle East Peace?
I thought the "incorrigible" comment from President Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu's pokes were perfect use of humor to point out the lack of manners Chuck Todd displayed. Brian Williams did a little mild scolding of Chuck's efforts, too.
You're absolutely right Jody,
I do not think President Obama even considers something that is so ridiculous. The media: right, left and center are guilty of pushing nonsense concerning middle east peace.
Somewhere along the line, Chuck seemed to think he was 'ordained' to always second guess what the President has had to say, with the result his schtick is getting old.
There are few of them on MSNBC, Andrea Mitchell is another who comes to mind, who from day one of President Obama's first day in office, have made it a point to always look for why he does or doesn't do something apparently according to 'their' criteria. They are supposed to be presenting news, not making it. It is especially wrong when he is traveling overseas, another example of lack of manners which seems to be more apparent every day.
Jody, I don't Tweet either, but God knows, in a year or two, we'll probably be Tweeting one another, and Feisty will be teaching us how to do it.
I saw a clip of President Obama speaking to the Israeli students, and all I could think was how distinctly American this President is. His message is, that change begins in the hearts of ordinary people, not through governmental policy or imposed by some CEO, General, or authoritarian leader. He appeals to the better angels in people and urges them to influence events, like the "community organizer" he started out as. Much like Martin Luther King inspired Americans to change their ideas about race, President Obama inspires people in the middle east to respond to the humanity of their "enemies."
Good points, Chilled and GBM. It isn't journalists jobs to hold President Obama to a higher standard than all the presidents before him but that is what Todd and Mitchell often do. I like both of them most of the time but they need to take a good look in the mirror and ask themselves what part of "presenting the news" means acting like chumps when it comes to the President of the United States, "R or D".
Amy, Lawrence O'Donnell gave an excellent analysis of President Obama's speech to the Israeli people. He took great risk when he talked about Israelis sitting down with the same Palestinian young people he did and realizing that they would want those children to succeed as much as they want Israeli children to succeed. It was to wild applause and cheers--which could easily have been boos.
Amy, ran out of edit time. Excellent points you made. I saw the whole speech and was amazed that after nearly every sentence, was applause and often standing ovations. President Obama took advantage of the "heckler" and won the hearts of the crowd receving a standing ovation for his recognition that it made him feel at home to have at least one heckler, and was "the kind of lively debate" I was talking about.
The same moonbat crowd here who feign concern about respect for the office of President---and who claim that asking more than one question to President Obama is "disrespectful"...
The very same crowd whooped and hollered and approved when a foreign journalist threw a shoe at President Bush.
Jody - the President has taken chances on this trip but clearly he was warmly received - as was his message. Sometimes it takes someone from outside a situation to bring clarity and commonsense to everyone. Hopefully there will be some actual good that comes from this trip - for all involved. It would be great to see peace in that region during our lifetime.
Bob - again showing your jealousy and your refusal to admit our President is well liked. I know that's a real thorn in your side. After all, Mitt was disliked by all he visited on his "great tour."
Wow, Jody, all I saw were clips of the speech, thanks for reporting the wider perspective. I didn't see the heckler.
Bobber, ALL the other journalists were restricted to ONE QUESTION directed at either President Obama or Prime Minister Netanyahu; that was the rule. All the other journalists respected that rule; Todd tried to slip in one question each. BTW, bob, Chuck Todd is a US citizen who should show respect to OUR president especially when overseas, and above all RESPECT to the host country.
As for the shoes at Bush, I probably don't have my exact words but I remember the basic comment I made at that time: it was disrespectful but I could understand the frustration, anger, and dislike felt by the Iraqi journalist at the man whose war killed so many Iraqi civilians and left the country ravaged and war-torn. I also said that there were times I would have liked to have thrown a shoe at Bush 43 but would never have done it because he was our President whether I liked him or not.
Jody
Shall we scream for Chucky to be "Dixie Chicked"? bwaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha
I don't think so. Another MAJOR difference between Dems and Repubs. We disagree with Chuck's behavior; but don't feel the need to have him annhilated from the public specter.
This whole middle east thing...
That area of our planet hasn't gotten along since,..... well, since never!.......
President Obama is supposed to 'fix' it....NOT!
Those folk have had their differences since way way before "Columbus sailed the ocean blue".
Heck, we've got blue state vs red state.....states that want to secede from the USA......yada, yada, yada.
[The very same crowd whooped and hollered and approved when a foreign journalist threw a shoe at President Bush.]
VaginalProbe bOb, thanks for reminding me, now have some fun...it's Friday DAMMIT!

p.s. Too bad it wasn't a crow bar
I think Chuck slants favorably towards Obama because he likes the perks of being on NBC's payroll. Every now and again his disdain and disbelief bubbles to the surface.
Excellent point Bob!!
For all the insulting those on the left did to other candidates, and now they are all up in arms about someone criticizing the President... Just too funny...
Chuck is out of control!!!!! You people really are funny. Saying the president looks tired is crossing the line? I like you people, but you are a bunch of butt kissers. How can you not see how silly that sounds? It starts with calling him tired, but before you know it they will ask him do stuff, like budgets and working with others. Where will it stop?
Because Chuck Todd has yet to be brainwashed, people around here are getting quite upset...
He did look exhausted at the dinner last night, but was raring to go this morning. I don't mind journalists pointing out when Obama looks tired, I think the problem is, Obama makes what he does look easy. We take his grace and his talents for granted, and we shouldn't. The man is supremely gifted, but he is human. Cut him some slack.
I don't mind the point Chuck Todd made about President Obama appearing tired except that it is one of many. My objection is that while spending time on "tired", Mr. Todd ignored the important event at which Obama looked "tired"; he failed to mention or show President Obama receiving the Israeli Presidential Medal of Distinction, the first sitting US president to receive Israel's highest civilian medal. I think that should have trumped the inclusion of "tired".
Amy - isn't it telling when the righties have to bring up his looking tired. They have NOTHING so they latch onto that. Look at Lil Michelle - the idiot of the one liners. She's soooo excited the President looked tired. Pretty pathetic isn't it?
Sometimes it seems like President Obama is the only one doing his job. And that includes me...I really should get back to back!
work
Funny stuff. Jody, did you know the the "Israeli Presidential Medal of Distinction" was created in 2012. Of course he is the first. The President of Israel is purely a figurehead position with no real power. Really doesn't added to your idol's worth.
Ouch John! Facts will STING the left, please play fair!
Tucson John.....I don't know your source, but my source was Wash Post:
Note: Stop hating... the medal was created 2011, not 2012, as you so erroneously posted!
Albert Einstein was once asked to be the President of Israel.
chilled - people like Tucson, dumb Michelle, and the Blackhead have to hang onto anything they can that they believe discredits the President - even when it doesn't. They have nothing else and hate rules their lives!
Damn gotta love the libs. Okay chilled, so he was the first sitting President to get the honor which has been handed out for three whole years. Guess what? He is the only President of the US in the last three years (much to the dismay of many Americans). What was he going to give him? The key to the city of Jerusalem? Maybe a DVD of the series "The Bible". Oh wait. That had him cast as Satan (sort of).
And what do you give a man who already has a Nobel Peace Prize (snicker)?
It's Friday. Head over to the DDI with your buds and lighten up for the weekend. : )
and, Seeking, they have unwavering support for lies and untruths about President Obama.
TeaPeople won't check out anything that another TeaPeople says....they just believe it!....
@Talk, ...You got it...I'll head on over to the DDI later for a Lite Beer!
Do you know Ronald Reagan and George H. Bush never visiting Israel during their presidency. George W. Bush visited one time in his last year 2008 as President.
There are some folks that don't know this. Also, this is President Obama's third trip to Israel. Once in 2006, then in 2008 before the election, and now.
