USA Today: “Thirty-two members of Congress dispensed more than $2 million in campaign funds to pay relatives' salaries during the 2012 election cycle, a USA TODAY analysis of the most recent campaign records shows.”
David Rogers: “Warring 10-year budget plans come before the House and Senate this week, even as lawmakers must pass a six-month stopgap bill to avert a shutdown and keep agencies operating in the wake of cuts ordered under sequestration. President Barack Obama is counting on Senate Budget Committee Chairwoman Patty Murray (D-Wash.) to get her resolution across the Senate floor and set up talks this spring with the Republican House. Playing Martha to Murray’s Mary is Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.), whose charge is to keep the government household running through the summer while the ‘grand bargainers’ — well, bargain.”

UGH.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg. I'd like to see a study on how much congressmen increase their wealth while "serving the people". We all know congress serves rich people, and surprise surprise the congressmen come out of office richer and make even more money consulting with lobbyists, not "the people".
Must be nice to have a member of congress as family, eh?
And speaking of budgets... Lyin Ryan has regurgitated his last three, and now hypes it as a new one, yeah right!!!
Its the same one he had when he and his lover were pretending to like America enough to want to be President, and Vice President, only now its super charged??? Good grief!!!
I finally agree with Amy. DfromSpencer, unusual for a lib to use implied homosexuality as an insult isn't it? We should elevate the tone to get away from that kind of prejudice. Surprised a conservative has to put that in check.
