The Democrat darling and Obama supporter Colin Powell says he has no regrets and the intelligence was what it was throughout the world. He said President Bush AND CONGRESS made the correct decision based on the information at hand. So blow it out your a$$

Oh? I thought we were supposed to forget Bush history as all history is now Obama history. When you guys figure out how to have your cake and eat it too, get back to me. Hint, it is a 4 letter word, and no, it is not a clue although I suspect you don't have one.

Right Bev, as if we needed a reason not to vote for a republican for anything they keep piling on, like ol' Ben. You know that Powell didn't say that. You just know that Ben is making stuff up just like he always does.

Yet, when a smuch smaller incident happens in Bengazi, Libya the right wing nut jobs go ape. The information from Susan Rice, Secretary Clinton and the White House was based on intellegence given them by those on the ground in Libya, particularly the CIA. So one could easily say theintelligence was what it was throughout the world in the Bengazi affair. Only 4 Americans were killed in Bengazi, Ben, how many Americans were killed in Iraq, Ben? How many?

When it came time to vote to go to Iraq How many Democrats voted Yes and how many voted No?

Wow, roc1960 (#1.11)

When it came time to vote to go to Iraq How many Democrats voted Yes and how many voted No?

These Democrats voted for the war merely to try to avoid possible future political payback and witch-hunt by a House Un-American Activities Committee led by Tricky Dick and Kevin McCarthy, I mean, Joseph McCarthy, or the equivalent.

Pig girl... you DO understand that those WMD's WERE found? Why do you think BHO is so worried about Syria shooting off their chemical weapons now? Those are the one's Saddam hid from those UN inspectors (as covered by NBC).

You really are a cool-aide drinker, aren't you?? Next thing you'll tell us that BHO is doing a good job!

The most recent cost for the Iraq war now stands at $2.2 Trillion and a total of 200,000 dead.

Dennis the costs will continue to rise in several ways, but the one that will be our biggest is what will be the costs for taking care of our wounded warriors for as long as they live. While I dont begrudge them the care and attention, it is acost that was not factored in when they decided to let things ride in Afghanistan while they took off on a deadly wild goose chase and are now rising to be included in the costs of the war there.

You have to add the cost to the veterans and the families of the service people bore when calculating the total cost of the war. Too many families subsidized the war efforts while the neocons profited.

I forgot, what was the plan to pay for this, by all those fiscally conservative repuks? Ya-know Ryan, cantor boehner and so on.

And, I don't mean the plan of "we'll just keep it off the books".

I doubt Bush or Cheney will go anywhere outside the US. If they do and people find out about it they will be arrested and taken to The Hague for war crimes trials. Even in Canada, there are people just waiting for Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, or Ashcroft to cross the border. Now that would be interesting. I wonder how Obama would handle it. I know how I would handle it. I would make the obligatory protests and veiled threats and then sit back and watch what happens.

Had the Demoncrats supported President Bush, this would have been completed years ago, and in the right way. You Demoncrats did nothing but upstruct the President, made jokes to allow him to look weak, and you udnerminded the will of the people.

Now you complain about your boy, BHO, not getting support from the Republicans?? At least GW Bush had a plan... and yes, there was a plan. BHO has NO idea how to run a country.... well, I guess running it into the ground IS running it...

I'm ashamed for you Demoncrates... you've no idea what you've done to Our Nation. You're so far up BHO's tush, you've no idea where his arse stops and your face starts.

I'd ask you to wake up from your dream as actually LOOK at what he's done... but you'd just convince yourself everything is OK and stick your head back in the sand.

Bush and Cheney both said that they knew for a fact that Saddam had WMDs, was enriching uranium to make a nuclear bomb and that al-Qaida had a training center in Baghdad. I guess those were republican facts.

            Reply#5 - Sun Mar 17, 2013 2:00 AM EDT

No Jim, there was no mention of "enriching uranium"... that's false. There were plenty of other WMD's that Saddam was making... and you'll find them in Syria.

Do you really just believe everthing the left tells you???

            Sheeple... so sad...
