GOP is seriously thinking about a comeback.
History is on the GOP side. In the midterm that falls on a president's 6th year, American voters want to give the other party a chance.
A recent example is 2006 when Grandma Nancy became the first Madame Speaker, making history, then President Obama became President 2 years later, another important history made.
Another example, in 1918, GOP made a comeback in the 6th year of Woodrow Wilson, taking over both Houses of Congress, destroying Wilson's experiment with world government (the League of Nations). 2 years later, Warren Hardin took over the White House, and GOP policies moved the country toward Great Depression.

Good luck to the GOP - only because I like the 2 party system and its benefits.

Hi guys, when will there be more interest paid to the Hassert rule being used by the House GOP?
This is the biggest reason there will be no compromise, it has created a double filibuster and the extreme elements of the GOP has brought everything to a stop.

Since 2010 and with TEA PARTY in control since, the GOP has ceded 2/3 0f the political spectrum to the DEMOCRATS. TEXAS is now the only large state that has strong GOP control. All other large states are Blue or moving to Blue.
If POS obama is not finished destroying the country I would expect a COMPLETE cleanout of all the Liberal leftist muslin Handout HOGS brotherhood party!

They should tape Meet The Press in the Boiler Room. With the lighting, wardrobe and make up Mark and Dom get, Peggy Noonan would look like a 97 year old bag lady, instead of the 30-something super model she usually looks on MTP.
Honestly, I'm burned out on political punditry. Going to go cold turkey this Sunday and turn off the tube/tubes.

Bob Ney has a bombshell book, sideswiped with some real dirt on Boner. Apparently his claims will be collaborated. Boner is actually no where near as nutty as the tea baggers, but it's still great to see politicians exposed.

Yiks what a legacy. Approximaely 47% on food stamps, welfare, or some sort of gov. assistance i don't think I would want to be the remembered or maker of that disaster. Blamng Bush and crying the sky is falling doesn't work only to the de hard libs and drive by media.
47% of people not working and you forgot 100% of Corporate Welfare Recipients i.e. Jerry Jones (got Dallas to build him a $1 billion stadium, Exxon, Mobil, Chevron, Total Oil, Shell got George Bush / the US Taxpayer to hand over 500 Billion barrels of Iraq oil that we paid for in blood, etc.
The show must go on. Fancy dinner parties with the Clintons are held at the White House (at taxpayer expense?) whereas little kindergarten kiddos from Iowa, and other "common folks" have their dreams of touring the White House smashed. All due to Obama's pettiness and to prove a point that "sequestration" is supposed to hurt. Maybe he forgot that the White House tour guides are unpaid volunteers? The tour guide director is still in place and getting a $100,000 a year salary. She recently even go a substantial raise. How's that fitting into the picture? Why not furlough her in the name of "sequestration"?
