Congress: Who you callin’ a wacko bird?

Newt Gingrich called McCain’s attacks on Rand Paul and Ted Cruz (on drones) “sad.” McCain also called Paul (and Ted Cruz) “wacko birds.”

Reince Priebus, on the other hand, called Rand Paul’s filibuster “completely awesome.”

This continues not to be your grandfather’s Senate… “Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren continued pressuring banking regulators Thursday, criticizing them during a Senate hearing for failing to enforce tougher penalties on the nation’s largest banks,” the Boston Globe reports. Warren: “If you’re caught with an ounce of cocaine, the chances are good you go to jail. But evidently, if you launder nearly a $1 billion for drug cartels and violate our international sanctions, your company pays a fine and you go home and sleep in your own bed at night...I think that’s fundamentally wrong.”

That is because Jon Corzine is an Obama crony, Senator.

Amy, I see Ms. Warren a wonderful choice for Mass, and more importantly for America. She seems to be the true statesmen that is needed in Washington. One that cares about America and is not just running from election to election. She certainly is not afraid to step on the powerful banking industry's toes.

We need more like her. Unfortunately so many (on both sides of the aisle) try to be the first in line to kiss corporate tush and especially if it is banking industry tush. Ms Warren is a rare breed on Capitol Hill, we need more like her.

Let's see...Hillary...Elizabeth...that is the next 16 years, isn't it? Maybe by then there will be a second party that isn't insane? Or maybe not, in which case...

For God's sake people, starting voting in the mid term elections!! We need to take back the House!!!!!!

Yes, please, let's take back the House from the Democrats and faux "conservatives" like John McCain and John Boehner.

Dave, are you incapable of recognizing reality? The USA is changing... not always for the better, but at least mostly so. Haven't you noticed how much less press the TP is getting? You're already starting to fade into obscurity. The pendulum has already started to swing in the other direction.

That's a pretty foreward statement. Of course you are ready, willing, and able to back up your claim with facts and figures, aren't you? If not it is merely YOUR opinion and opinions are like navels, everybody has one.

Ms. Warren is actually correct on this and many other accounts of the banking industry silently supporting the drug cartels. why on earth do you think grass is still illegal? Too many law enforcement groups get big money, the lawyers make big money, the jails get overcrowded and privatized - big money for CCA, and poor little joe pot head goes to jail while his dealer supps with kings/congressmen/ senators/ and even presidents. Stop this nonsense, if the banks can't be honest about it then make the majority of the drugs (especially those we naturally grow at home) legal and tax the living s--t out of them. I don't do drugs, barely even drink alcohol, don't smoke cigarettes or anything else but I have seen way too many jails overcrowded with these kids who get the shaft while the kingman goes free and I'm real tired of it. Continue to call them out Elizabeth - you are a national hero!

Newt you, McCain and Graham Started this Nastiness on the Obama Administration . YOU LIT the FIRE on this total Disrespect for anything regarding the Obama Administration and now they see, people like Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, have NO PROBLEM BURNING THE HOUSE DOWN on stupidity, mean and nasty and don’t know a damn thing of what they are talking about PERIOD and putting our National Security on Display to Embarrass the President.

Rand Paul wants those like him to continue to think of this President as a Hitler still keep referencing Hitler's and Communists in our Government.

Ted Cruz now see's Communists all over the place in the Obama Administration.

If a Republican was in the White House, or even Bush/Chaney, GOP never would have DONE ANYTHING remotely like this to put out Information on National Security in such a Public Way. Those would have been questions asked in a private Briefing of Senators on the Intelligence and Armed Services Committee. The Democrats never would have done it to a Republican President.

Chaney would have told them go F themselves, like he told Senator Leahy in the Senate Chamber and not one Republican said anything about it or him for such Disrespect of a Colleague.

No one is talking about the a Senator Filibustering. But we want a credible filibuster. Not this Clown Act.

McCain and Graham are beginning to see that they have let the CRAZIES in the Party go a tad too far.
