Since watching "Hubris" last night. Nothing on the news today will make my blood boil as much as it did when Cheney ran our country into the ground with W. standing by for head nods. I remembered what a gutless wonder George Tenet was. I remembered so much I couldn't sleep last night because of hashing it in my mind. Hashing so many lives lost on 9/11, Afghanistan and Iraq as well as 12 terrorists attacks because we had a simpleton for a President who didn't start snapping out of his day dreaming until early 2006. Too late for both wars and wall street's self inflicted collapse.

I know what you mean, AnaBanana. It makes me laugh when the media complain about President Obama not giving them a view of his golf game with Tiger Woods - when the media slept through the Bush years, never questioning the rising income inequality, or the grounds for the Iraq War, or how we could wage two wars at once while seeing taxes cut across the boards. And people wonder why I am such a supporter of President Obama, my God, compared to Bush, he is Einsten, Lincoln and Eisenhower, all rolled up together.

PS There is so much to say about the Bush Years. I don't think the Reublicans have ever dealt with the failures of that administration or processed what it means for them going forward. It seems to me, they dealt with it by creating a "new" Republican Party - the Tea Party, dedicated to attacking government and demonizing immigrants and poor people.

when the media slept through the Bush years

The media did not care.....they were afraid to challenge the Dubya/Cheney cabal!...They were worthless and incompetent in their prosecution of that administrations 'march to war' on lies, tax cuts and everything else that was going on in that administration.

And here we are.....the media demanding 'transparency' from President Obama.

The media demands more of President Obama than they ever thought of demanding from Dubya!

Why?

"David Axelrod joins NBC, MSNBC"

What a meaningless headline....Axelrod has been de facto head of daily talking points at the Obama propaganda networks since 2009...

"Chuck Todd, meet David Axelrod"... same situation as in the Godfather II, when Fredo supposedly meets Johnny Ola...

Michael: Johnny! You don't know my brother Fredo, do you, Johnny? Johnny Ola - Fredo.
Johnny: (holding out his hand to Fredo) We never met. Johnny Ola.
Fredo: (nervously) Pleasure.
