Obama's secret round with Tiger Woods prompts press complaint

The White House says cameras weren't allowed because the president was playing on a private golf course. Obama was playing with Tiger Woods, an indication of a different second term where Obama isn't as concerned about things that may reflect negatively on him. NBC's Andrea Mitchell reports.

PORT ST LUCIE, Fla. -- President Barack Obama played a round of golf with Tiger Woods on Sunday, but nobody knew about it until a lone tweet from a golf reporter went live. And now, the White House Press Corps Association has lodged a complaint against the administration, bemoaning the transparency afforded to pool reporters.

At 11 a.m. ET, Golf Digest reporter Tim Rosaforte tweeted this from his vantage point at the exclusive Floridian Yacht and Golf Club in Palm City: "The President is arriving at The Floridian range. Awaiting is Tiger Woods and club owner Jim Crane. Historic day in golf. Their first round."

White House reporters, looking to confirm Woods’ presence, immediately made inquiries with the president’s press team, which went unanswered for almost three hours – confirmation came at 1:46 p.m. ET.

The press corps had been anxious to confirm Woods’ presence. The president playing with the world’s most famous golfer -- involved in a 2009 sex scandal -- immediately became a national news story, as opposed to the commander in chief simply having some down-time with friends.

The small group of reporters assigned to cover the president’s every movement, known as the "pool," also requested access to the Floridian grounds to be nearby the president, even though the press’ vantage point was nowhere near the golf course. But the pool was not shuttled to the resort until 4:18 p.m. ET.

White House Press Corps Association president Ed Henry lodged an official complaint with the White House, writing in a statement, “I can say a broad cross section of our members from print, radio, online and TV have today expressed extreme frustration to me about having absolutely no access to the President of the United States this entire weekend. There is a very simple but important principle we will continue to fight for today and in the days ahead: transparency."

The White House responded with a statement from deputy press secretary Josh Earnest: “The press access granted by the White House today is entirely consistent with the press access offered for previous presidential golf outings. It's also consistent with the press access promised to the White House Press Corps prior to arrival in Florida on Friday evening."

Ed Henry of Fox is crying he and others couldn't get close to the President. Too bad, this was a private visit and he is entitled to some privacy. Fox and others only wanted access so they can critique the President's game and then later make fun of it on Fox and Friends.

W.H. press corps: 'Extreme frustration' over 'having absolutely no access' to Obama

By DYLAN BYERS |

2/17/13 7:03 PM EST

The White House press corps is expressing frustration over its lack of access this weekend to President Obama, who was on a golfing vacation in Florida.

Ed Henry, the Fox News correspondent and president of the White House Correspondents Association, released a statement Sunday evening in which he said the press corps had been given no access to the president, who was joined on his outing by star golfer Tiger Woods, and that the WHCA would fight for greater transparency in the days ahead.

"Speaking on behalf of the White House Correspondents Association, I can say a broad cross section of our members from print, radio, online and TV have today expressed extreme frustration to me about having absolutely no access to the President of the United States this entire weekend," Henry said in a statement, relayed in a White House pool report. "There is a very simple but important principle we will continue to fight for today and in the days ahead: transparency."

BTW, President's Day is one of those special occasions for which I have saved my Christmas present to myself: Barry Obama toilet paper. And for all you lefty liberals that will scream "racist", nothing could be further from the truth. If I could find it, I would be more than happy to wipe my butt with Bubba Clinton toilet paper. The next special occasion is April 15, 2013.

==============

Is this to imply that it wouldn't have become a national news story if Tiger was not involved in a 2009 sex scandal and he was simply the world's most famous golfer? What does the "involved in a 2009 sex scandal" have to do with anything?

Unnecessary comments like that are exactly why your junky arses were left in the dark.

President Obama gets media attention every single day of his life now. He is entitled to some private relaxing time.

Particularly on President's Day.

The poor media is like a bunch of spoiled brats. The media "I've pupped my pants and the President didn't change me". When the media gets caught with their pants down they have to use a snarky remark like " involved in a 2009 sex scandal". If the media would quit jumping on every Fox outrage the media might not be the laughing stock of the rest of the world.

How unfair, how selfish of them, we (the Press Core) have every right to invade the privacy of the President or anyone else we feel like. Who do they think they are not letting us in on their game so we could snap pictures and ask questions and completely destroy their round of golf. How arrogant of them. Give me a break. Good gawd--the petty nitpicking and whining never stops. The media does not have a right to cover every single thing President Obama does. It's about the right to privacy when privacy is sought by President Obama and any other president. I really do not care whether he played a round of golf with Tiger Woods or Arnold Palmer or ???. It is irrelevant, unimportant, and silly plus celebrity golfers have as much right to privacy as does our President.

Allen Omaha, great point; that little dig is irrelevant to the story.

Overall, I feel pretty good about the human race. I think that most folks are (in their hearts) good and I try to adopt a policy of live and let live.

I DO get frustrated with the constant need that some of the folks here seem to have with always making the other side into monsters. For instance, do I believe that Obama is truly evil in his heart? No. But I do believe that in a political context, his agenda is counter to that of our country and what it was founded on.

SO.... my political statement in the form of an avatar.

It's amusing, Sick of the Bickering's name implies he's tired of the political fighting here and elsewhere, then he purposely uses an offensive avatar--by the way, it would be equally offensive if Reagan, Bush, Bush, McCain or Romney were depicted as Hitler--to antagonize and stir the bickering, and then proceeds to his daily name-calling of a particular liberal poster who he cannot resist stalking. Personally, I think the first letters of his screen name are what he intended as his real one but he knew that would mean he'd be banned again so Sick-O was the best he could do.

There is a very simple but important principle we will continue to fight for today and in the days ahead: transparency.

There's been no transparency from this administration for over four years now, and the press hasn't complained a bit (and in fact have been complicit in it). Now, all of a sudden, they are upset about it?! On the important issues (Benghazi, etc) they could care less about transparency, but when it's something as big as playing golf with Tiger.... yea since Powell already admitted he was lied to and made to look like a fool by the Shrub....LOL!!!

Yep, he really backtracked on this one. BTW, why is this a LOL comment?

But, Powell said, "the intelligence system did not work well."

"There were some people in the intelligence community who knew at the time that some of those sources were not good, and shouldn't be relied upon, and they didn't speak up," Powell said.

"That devastated me," he said.

Powell in the TV interview also disputed the Bush administration's linking of Saddam's regime with terrorists.

He said he had never seen a connection between Baghdad and the 9/11 attacks on New York and Washington in 2001. "I can't think otherwise, because I'd never seen evidence to suggest there was one," he said.

Still, Powell said that while he has always been a "reluctant warrior" he supported Bush on going to war the month after his U.N. speech. "When the president decided that it was not tolerable for this regime to remain in violation of all those U.N. resolutions I am right there with him with the use of force," Powell said.

I find it funny how anyone can call Obama evil when he is trying to stop the evil started by the past administration. I find it funny that anyone can call Obama evil when it is he that is trying to help the less fortunate in this country where the Republicans are trying to make their lives even more miserable. In case anyone hasn't noticed the Republicans planned cuts include everything but defense spending and in an uproar because Obama appointed a man by the name of Hagel that will find cuts that can be made oin the defense budget.

Now to get back on topic, it appears that the right wing media would also like to watch Obama go to the rest room so they could criticize him for that too. Probably something in the line of he sits the wrong way or he should be reading the Bible while doing his business. Forget the fact that this was to be a time for Obama to enjoy a few hours of R & R without the press asking ignorant questions like "how did you do on the course today?". The reporters don't want to do their job, they just want the news handed to them and cry like babies when it isn't.

Actually I believe the real problem is that the reporters wanted to attack Woods for a story and never got the chance. Something like "How does it feel to be playing golf with the man that raised your taxes?" among many other ignorant questions.

I really don't find it repulsive...I find it as showing a lack of intelligence from failing to understand history and the difference between different personalities. To compare Hitler to any of our elected presidents whether it be Obama or G W Bush just shows a lack of intelligence. We have too many checks and balances in our system of government to make ignorant comparisons like that.

If the only "lack of transparency" they can find to bitch about is not being able to obnoxiously intrude on his down time, which has nothing to do with running the country and is no one else's business...then they've proved that this really is the most transparent administration in history.

What a bunch of idiots...thinking "transparency" means they get to go on all his social outings too. Do they also expect to have dinner with his family and tuck his kids in at night? Morons.

Of course, and it is everyone's right to express their opinions about what you have to say as well as insist that you back up what you have to say.

Which rights has Obama removed so far?

Personally, I don't find your avatar so much repulsive as childish and stupid, and I fully support your right to be that way if you so choose. Go ahead, make yourself look like a kid. Knock yourself out.

You're quite late to be pointing out an impending disaster. That was the case around 2007-2008, a disaster that we have since averted. Now we simply have to continue to clean up the mess, one of the largest in American history. Improperly handled, we could face more trouble, but nothing like the collapse that happened back then.

Notice I'm not pointing at any particular political affiliation - these are just the facts. Draw your own conclusions.

If Fox is as irrelevant as you want people to believe, no one is paying attention to them, anyway. Well, you're half right. Only the ultra-libtards pretend not to pay attention, but like you, they still go there for real news. The news here, and the reason King Hussein tried to hide it, is that the King is socializing with the ultra-rich. The very people that he tears down and tries with every breath to get libtard losers to hate. Maybe he's telling Tiger that it's just politics - anything for the vote. nothing personal. While Obama has taken 61 days of vacation after 31 months in office; at this point in their presidencies, GW Bush had 180 days at his ranch alone, and Reagan had taken 112 vacation days (by contrast, Bill Clinton: 28 days). Back in October of 2010, SickOfTheBickering.........said:

Quote.......The NAACP is inherently a racist organization. The organization's name explains the fact in that it is for the advancement of 'COLORED' people.

Imagine the OUTRAGE that would be voiced if our nation had an organization named the NAAWP (Nation Association for the Advancement of White People). Wouldn't you all be upset by that?

You will NEVER see the NAACP come to the defense of a white person but they are johnny-on-the-spot when an AA needs them. I wonder if any other 'COLORED' people in our nation resent the attention that the NAACP gives the AA's. Latinos, Native Americans, Asians... are they not considered 'COLORED' people? If so they sure don't seem to receive the attention of the NAACP that AA's receive......EndQuote

The NAACP, like the "underground railroad", came into being to combat the injustices faced (almost exclusively) by "colored people". Thus, it is understandable (to most) that both organizations spend/spent most of their energies helping those MOST in need (colored people).

Still, as injustices began to be applied to other groups, the NAACP responded. An example of this has been NAACP support for LGBT rights. (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NAACP#NAACP_and_LGBT_rights)

You could have singled out any number of organizations for your criticism. But, you chose one that has SUCCESSFULLY sought, as it founding principle, to fight racism against "colored people". Furthermore, you wrongly ASSUME that organization has not fought for the rights of those other than "colored people".

You most certainly have a racist philosophy. But, you lack the courage of your convictions. You choose to wrap your racism in sophistry and deny it when called to account. So, really the NAACP has had a profound effect upon you. They have instilled a fear (of social censure) in you that prevents you from voicing the overt racism you, no doubt, harbor.

So, keep publishing your cautiously coded words. We mostly recognize them as yet another admission of your frustrated impotence and that yours is a disgraced, discredited, and defeated philosophy.

Wow. A president plays some golf. That is no big deal, and he didn't choose to play with Tiger because he cheated on his wife...that is just silly. He chose him probably because he is a great golfer. I didn't complain when the former presidents hung out at Camp David or anywhere else, and frankly he vacations a lot less than most anyway. No, there is no requirement that a president is followed 24/7 365 days for 4 or 8 years totally constantly. Really, let's be honest here. Some didn't like Mr. Bush and some don't like Mr. Obama. So of course you will criticize how much each does whatever. But it really IS no big deal if Mr. Bush cleared brush or played golf with someone famous or whatever else he did for vacation, as long as it was legal. He had no obligation to allow press to watch every single branch he cleared so press could turn it into some kind of mistake or make up stories about it, and Mr. Obama has no obligation for press to watch him play golf so they can make up stories about why he played with this guy or that one, either. If you believe that presidents don't have the right to say no press is allowed at a family dinner, dinner with a colleague, golf game, horse-riding trip, or brush-clearing event then you probably don't understand what "transparency" means in the context of presidential lives. It doesn't relate to whom anyone plays golf with or rides horses with as long as it isn't illegal. We have became a nation of people who feel that we all have a right to know every.single.conversation every politician has with everyone, and while I agree that transparency is great on matters that matter, who can honestly say that it matters what they talk about or if he shows him a better way to putt? Really...it doesn't. Who cares?

I truly don't understand the need some people have to call each other names, and that goes for all sides. Do you think that a post with, "righties" or "libtards" in it makes your points any clearer or makes you sound any smarter? It doesn't, and it makes many people disregard what you say for obvious bias and nastiness. Why call names? If you disagree say so respectfully without names or making stereotypical generalizations, and then perhaps people might take your posts seriously.
"Typical of a" righty or lefty or whatever...how about just make your points respectfully and have a real discussion instead of calling names? I didn't care if Mr. Bush rode horses and I don't care if Mr. Obama plays golf, and I don't have a need to see each time the horse pooped or Mr. Obama missed a shot. Really...it isn't any of our business and who cares?

Tiger Woods doesn't live in California, he lives in Florida.

Tiger owned a piece of income property which was a tiny house on the beach down in Orange County that he held for the appropriate amount of time, and then his brokers put up for sale.

He may not have even known he ever owned it.

As for California taxes; people who have the kind of money Tiger Woods has (and there are a lot of them), don't have to worry about California taxes.

The Press was barred for one simple reason, bad publicity on Obama's part by simply playing golf with someone whose character has become somewhat tarnished in recent years.

Also, with the economy in shambles, it's a little embarrassing for the American people to be reminded, once again, that Obama is still enjoying a good time while most of the country is struggling to survive.

So that's what goes on behind those gated, walled-in conservative country clubs. Who knew!!

How far our national press corp has fallen, to be complaining about not getting a good view of the President with a celebrity. I mean really.

But, then, again I guess its a testament to the no-drama Obama administration that there isn't a more serious scandal for the pack to play with.

I hpe that the White House Press pool is not going to get like FOX news. Lets make the news because there doesn't seem to be anything happening today.

Was Clinton in the group? If so, I am sure they would have pulled off quite a foursome with Jane Doe. Yet again, Obama showing that he takes the women vote for granted. Play golf with the one golfer who clearly has no respect for women.....

You got it covered either way huh Lie Teller? If a woman is invited to play golf with the President then Clinton is invited and it's some "Jane Doe"; and if no women are invited then the President "takes the women['s] vote for granted".

So how is it Mr. Obama's issue if Tiger cheated on his wife? That is between Tiger and his wife...who cares? I don't think playing golf with someone divorced for awhile after he got caught cheating means Mr. Obama is putting a stamp of approval on that cheating...that makes no sense. Mr. Bush hung out with people who did some pretty unsavory things sometimes and he wasn't perfect either. So what? Focus, people.

          Seeking,

I said it was an "observation". Seriously. Obama playing golf with Tiger who clearly treats women as nothing more than objects??? All I am saying is that the optics are horrible. I find it humourous that somehow the Dems paint themselves as the party that represents women.

Heck, Tiger may not even be a Dem. But for Obama to play golf with him and not put two and two together in terms of how this looks simply boggles the mind. Let me put it to you this way: If you are a playing golf with somebody that was forced to do business with Gloria Allred in order to settle a sexual harrassment lawsuit, then you are probably missing something in regard to perception.

Tiger is a great golfer. Tiger is not a good person and has treated women horrible. He is Obama's friend. I have no problem with Obama playing golf with him. I just think the irony of it all is funny (though not quite as funny as the serial sexual harrasser Clinton pretending he respects women).

That, my friend, is the truth.

Truth - the President chose to play with someone who could help him improve his game - nothing more. Bush chose to let Saudis - who were 19 of the 9/11 terrorist - leave the country after 9/11 when no one else could. Let's talk about perception shall we? He chose to give special privileges to the leaders of the country that 19 of the terrorists came from - do we see a problem there?

I find it funny that your "truth" is nothing more than another way for you to throw stones at a very good President because you just can't admit the Republican party is filled with idiots!

            Seeking,

I did not say anything about Bush. He is done and is looooooong gone from politcal life.

Funny how you skirt the subject about our current POTUS. I guess Obama could not find golf tips from anybody else in the world but another narcissistic, woman harrassing/using, rich individual.

Leave the Bush/Cheney/Rice crap at home. They are done. This is all on Baracks watch now and clearly you are having a tough time see his act up close. Let's be honest, the drone assassination program has to make you uncomfortable---at the very least.

Obama circa 2008: "I will close Gitmo in my first year of office. Advanced interrigation techniques make the rest of the world mad at us."

Obama circa 2013: "I'd like a couple of waffles for breakfast with a side of fruit. Also, can you bring me the assassination list for review? I'd like to determine who I plan on ordering an assassination on today. Good thing we have Gitmo open".

You lefties are funny. Bush is out and history will judge him. Obama is in and history is ALREADY judging him to be a fraud. Just wait until the full brunt of Obamacare is brought to the forefront. WE are going to see more Dems running for cover than you can shake a stick at. Let's just say, many people told you so. A cluster is in the making.....

Sorry. But you will see that I am right and speak the unvarnished truth.

Is this like conspiracy theory or what? Ponders that a moment as I get my Mission Impossible gear ready. How about everyday life isn't that more important ? Not everyone, as in We The People, have President's Day off. Do they? The folks in Washington and all those that converge around them are not in touch with We The People. Meteors are crashing into the Earth, dolphins are gathering in large sizes, earthquakes of significant magnitude are still rumbling, a whole host of issues within the US is going on, but let's talk about golf and who didn't get invited right along with who filed a complaint because their feelings got hurt.

Simple question with no answer..........It's not about politics....It's about if our leaders (sic) are liars.....I don't really care what you call me because name calling is all you really have.......It's obvious you don't have a leader in the white house.......

I'm going to have to ask the question once again. Which was worse conduct for the POTUS: initiating the war on Iraq based on WMD, a presence of al Quida and Sadam's nuclear progam OR a State Department Secretary erroneously stating, in the early chaos, that the attack on Benghazi was prompted my a unholy movie........quick.........which was worse.....time's running out,...... Iraq or Benghazi???

wb, yes to continue the war was voted on by our elected Congress. They based there decision on the information as it was presented by the WH: WMD, remember the quote during the congressional debate, "If we wait for the smoking gun, it may turn out to be a mushroom cloud"; it was voted on under that kind of hysteria and hype coming from the WH. Did you believe that Iraq was enriching uranium yellow cake that Sadam was getting from Nigeria? Did you believe that Sadam had a huge arsenal of WMD? Did you believe that Sadam was harboring al Quida operatives and was giving vast sums of financial support directly to al Quida? Did you believe that Iraq had something to do with the 9/11 attack? Well I guess if you believed any of that hype AT THE TIME of the vote on the war, I couldn't blame you for voting in favor of continuing a war effort. The information provided to Congress by the WH was completely, utterly and embarrassingly WRONG; unfortunately I have to give all those sheep a kinda pass. There simply is NO comparison between the mid east wars and Bengahzi. If anyone is truley angry at the Bengahzi situation and not at all concerned with how we got into the Iraq war, then I know that person is soley taking a particular political stand.

And by they way, let's not ever shut up our citizens simply because they were never in the military....what the hell are we fighting for? And yes, I was wearing a uniform from '69 to '72, so I guess you WILL let me talk, huh!

Welcome home brother..........And you know what...I'm willing to concede the all the WMD arguments etc. Yes it was flawed intell. My main baily wick is the cover-up that came after. And all indications even today about this incident indicates that a cover up took/is taking place. Why will no one answer the one simple question.....Who pushed the movie story and why did it continue for two weeks???

Bush wasn't right then....This guy isn't right now......You were lied to 69-72 just like I was. It wasn't right then either.

I just have a hard time standing with a guy that is continuing a charade and refuses to come clean....This man in my opinion and everyone has one....is a supreme twister of the truth and is not to be trusted with the welfare of this country.

I respect your opinion to see he him as you wish. No amount of arguing here will ever change my or your opinion about this man. But I see a lot here that I don't like.

I stand by each of our rights to agree to disagree........

Um, Damyou, about the ACA and preexisting conditions:

The Affordable Care Act eliminates preexisting condition restrictions by 2014 on all employer-based health plans, as well as newer individual health insurance policies.

That's 2014, less than one year away. Unfortunately the WH had to make SOME concessions to get it passed. BUT: in the meantime, a temporary federal high-risk pool program has been set up in every state. This temporary federal pool is known as the Preexisting Condition Insurance Plan (PCIP) and provides coverage to U.S. citizens and legal residents with preexisting conditions who have been uninsured for at least six months. Benefit plans offered by the PCIP provide coverage without a preexisting condition exclusion

                Any other questions?

But if the people don't see that the same act of lies and hyped persuasion from our highest elected officials that was perpetrated in '64 (That MoF'n Gulf of Tonkin resolution) and what the Bush WH did is the same darn act. I'm tellin' ya, it was like an f'n bad dream coming back.................and most people didn't see it... or worse, denied any similarity. It was the same "official" act of lies and deceit. Sorry, I don't like using polemical, charged words, but I'm concerned that a Gulf of Tonkin fabrication can fool us again................man, it's scary. Damyou. Honestly, I'm not sure what you mean by "they" are not taking applications. The actual insurance is through private insurers. The PCIP part of the ACA has not been changed, as far as I know. Also, the states decide what the definition of pre-existing is as far as what conditions are excluded and how far back and how far forward the preexisting condition is considered. According to the current Patient Protection and Afordable Health Care Act ,the Preexisting Condition Insurance Plan (PCIP) will cover most individual preexisting conditions if there comes an issue with a particular private insurer. And the Jan 1 2014 date is currently the date whereupon private insurers can not deny any preexisting condition. Seriously, if there has been some kind of Congressional vote to the contrary, please let me know where I can get that information.

And, BTW, I don't think that everything is just roses...far from it. I am not a particular supporter of Obama either. But I try to understand what's going on around me; and I try to stick to actual facts when considering my own situation....especially when it comes to health and taxes. So let me know who you were talking about when you says "they" aren't taking people, and get me pointed in the right direction concerning this congression vote on the preexisting changes to the PpACA.

Bush still holds the record for the highest approval rating at any one time of any president...he was at 90%... and as for overall...it was Kennedy 70%, Eisenhower 65% then Bush Sr. 61%

so quit spewing nonsense and stick to facts to make what you say credible..which nothing you say is

And, Obama is higher than Bush's average and always will be. Grow up! 90% approval for a few days means nothing. And, he sinks lower and lower every day as what he did prior to 9/11 comes out more and more. That's why he's basically been in hiding since he left office!

It depends. The general word, president, is not capitalized, because it does not refer to any specific position or person. As part of a title, such as President Obama, the word is always capitalized. In the US, "President" is usually capitalized when it refers to the President of the United States.

So pool reports are mad you are going to forget the basics of capitalization. Or is there some other reason...

"The president playing with the world’s most famous golfer"

The "president" should be the "President" each time it refers to the President of the United States.

Remember when Milton Friedman used to have a show on network TV talking about economics? That was when people were actually interested in being educated.

Ricardo, they didn't even work a month--Congress has worked 15 days since it reconvened after the new year.

billybob, the House is controlled by the GOP which established the work schedule--two weeks (about 3 days each), then a week off and that doesn't count the extra time off for holidays. The Senate has a better record. Don't forget, the GOP Senators waste time while in session playing filibuster and delay games. Personally, doesn't matter who is in charge, they should be required to work 5 day weeks and the only vacations should be those for holidays and the late summer recess.

I didn't hear any comments about any sex scandle when GW Bush played golf with DIAPER BOY VITTER. So why complain about Obama and Tiger.

Oh, two black men playing a game that only "WHITE MEN" should be playing? LMAO about that. The GOP still has their noses out of joint because a 'uppity' man resides in the White House. According to the GOP, that means the POTUS is suppose to be white.

You GOP had your chance, fielded two losers, with two losing VP's, and that "uppity" man beat you both times. Wow, how does it feel to be a TWO TIME LOSER? From your comments, you aren't handling it very good, that's for sure.

And yes, Faux Noise always complains when they can't find any material to make jokes about. Who cares about the press anyway?

There you go, Job1 provides the "Truth".

In secret tea party meetings, they (Anyone who does not agree with the presdient's agenda)calls the President "Uppity" and worst!

By the way, the meetings I have gone to have not included racial slurs. The minorities in the meeting would not appove and the "Uppity White Men" don't use that kind of language to begin with.

Thomas, it is written in black and white. Sally posted racist comments. I have not. So by your example, yes, Democrats are racist and Republicans are not.

But a liberal publicly posting racist remarks gets a pass.

Go to a meeting and speak with tea party members one on one or in small groups, and you will get their true feelings. There is plenty of tape and video to prove so.

                          Job1.

I have been to meetings, spoken to tea party activist in small groups, one-on-one and many of the people that I talk to casually (Friends, family and work acquaintances) have never used racial slurs in my presence.

I actually hear the term "Whitey" and "Cracker" a lot more than I do the N word, unless of course you include black people using the N word.

I'm sure you can find a video of someone using a racial slur and demand that they are tea party members or Republicans. I can find a video of a person having sex with a donkey and claim that both the person and the donkey are Democrats, but neither of these scenarios uphold your stance that Republicans or tea party members are racist. If they do, then all Democrats are perverts. I don't think either statement is true. There are racists in both parties (With plenty of video to back that up), but they are not the norm and your generalization that Republicans are racist is untrue. Does Sally accurately represent your thoughts?

An official complaint was lodged because the press were not informed that the President was golfing with Tiger Woods. The man deserves to have some privacy. He may be the President of the United States, and not telling the media that he is golfing in my mind does not take away from transparency in the government. He should be transparent in his job, but he does not need to announce to the world everything he is doing for some downtime. The man has a tough enough job, leave him alone. I may not agree with everything he does, but I do respect him and his need for time to himself. I know I would not want the media following me around when I go for a leisurely round of golf. Of course I haven't seen grass since October...

Was it simply a Woods cut out that was seen so that it would appear Obama was playing golf with him? What important things did Obama miss while deciding to play golf instead? My God, I didn't vote for him either time and I am getting tired of this crap.

Naaa , Never mind, Just a troll I see, wanting to "Rant" . For no reason apparently and Fox must be on in the background as this was posted may I presume?

Now this is one of the reasons I will never vote Republican again. Republicans in Congress have moved so far away from the Real issues that I no longer recognize them. And stuff like this crap.. Wow, Really? Who sits around thinking up all this Bizarre Nonsense that I see everywhere? I am ashamed to admit I used to be Independent and vote Republican or Democrat, depending on who was running. 12 year Nose Dive!

" Meh" who care about my 1 measly vote.
