Can't wait!

The State of the Union address is the political equivalent to the Super Bowl!

The dueling banjo's rebuttal from the RWNJ's should be pretty entertaining as well.

One party versus two messages... LMAO

*popcorn*?

Absolutely my dear friend!

President Obama will continue to lead us to a better place and will be able to hear his plans tonight. I am certainly looking forward to hear about each of his visions for us.

Regardless of so many of the people in the GOP who try to obstruct the progress we need in this country, President Obama will remain steadfast against them and we will be the better for it.

Feisty, I saw your earlier post about Deadbeat Daddy, Walsh!....Incredible, absolutely incredible.

Instead of asking the courts for relief from his responsibilities, he should be locked up along with other deadbeat dads!

Or, perhaps, he will become a 'taker', depending on unemployment insurance, etc!

What a loser!

Ozzie, which one of the richt wing pundits is saying that. "Can't wait for the President to tell us how everything is still Bush's fault?" I see it repeated here, over and over today. For your information IT WAS BUSH'S FAULT. Selective memory plus right wing lies equal Ozzie.

Told you so goof that is all you apologist can do for this dismal President. Why was the house crash that caused the financial melt down Bush's fault? Pretty sure the dems put all that into motion starting with Clinton.

We all know that this will be another Obama campaign speech about spending more tax dollars to invest in companies like Solyndra. Just what we need more tax dollars going down the drain to his campaign donors. More green energy going down the drain and nothing comes of it. Americans need jobs to pay taxes for his big pipe dreams.

Busy day and Ted Nugent will get all the attention. President Obama could not have asked for a better face for the GOP. The commercials write themselves for anyone seen walking next to or shaking his hand. Am looking forward to three items. Sensible gun control, immigration reform and more economic stimulus. Has the President filled all the judicial openings If not, that needs to be priority number four.

I'd rather have Ted Nugent then that cop killer in LA that adores Obama!!

Oh wait ...nobody supposed to know about that!!

Maxx - and you know the cop killer adores Obama how? And, what does that have to do with anything? My guess is that most gun lovers who are killers adore the Republican party since it constantly defends their rights to shoot and kill anyone they want!

You truly are a pitiable little man.

Nah, I think there are still plenty of folks out there who are cheering on Christopher Dorner as a man exercising his Second Amendment rights to use his guns to fight back against a government that was clearly out to get him.

Hopefully, "The Nuge" will be escorted from the entry hall and questioned for several hours by the Secret Service and then the FBI. Then, they can lock him in a room and play his own music at top volume for several more hours.

Well you have got the second part right. This has turned into a damned race and getting revenge for the slavery thing. You have GOT to look at some of the stories and listen to the pundits out there. Totally another planet.

Cop killer Dorner is a very liberal person. He supports gun control and has written of his admiration for President Obama. But of course the left will/are trying to paint him as a conservative and supporter of gun rights. I really hope he does the right thing and take his own life, he is not worth wasting millions of dollars on for a trial and incarceration.

    State of the Union?

TARP and various bailouts saved no jobs as claimed, but did perpetuate outrageous salaries, pensions, and bonuses. So-called Green investment has backfired at an alarming rate resulting in fewer jobs in the Green sector even than before. Deficit Spending has added $5 Trillion to the Debt.

It's a $5 Trillion Wad that has been shot.

Obamacare is not the "Public Option" promised by Obama in 2008. Millions wanted the Public Option to get even with Big Insurance by eliminating Big Insurance, and therefore voted for Obama in 2008. Instead of a Public Option, Obamacare now assures Big Insurance triple revenue what they had before, and to top it off it is becoming apparent that Access to health care is now halved from what it was before. We lose, big.

20% of Black Males 19 years old in 2008 were unemployed. Today those Black Males are 24 years old and are still unemployed except the percentage is nearing 35%.

Gun Crimes in America have increased as U6 Unemployment has increased, and as participation in the economy has decreased. Every job added will decrease Gun Crimes. There are not enough new jobs being created. Jobs continue to go in reverse. Obama is not talking about Decreasing Gun Crimes by increasing jobs.

Obama would take guns away from lawful Americans so that only criminals have guns. Lawful Americans become easy prey under this scenario. When criminals are seconds away the police are minutes away. Lawful Americans become what we refer to as "dead meat" under Obama's Gun Control Plan.

On a good month new jobs added in America only keep up with 80% of new college graduates who would wish to join working Americans. Only about half of new college graduates are finding employment. It's no wonder layed off Americans need extended unemployment checks, there's not even enough room for half of new college graduates. Plus, Obama has added a million illegals to those competing for the few available job in America.

It is looking like no politician, Republican or Democrat, has the guts to swallow the sequester, which means Obama will continue to spend more than double what is coming in in taxes. How is he making up the difference? Printing funny money and borrowing from China.

This is the State of the Union.

I see Dick Cheney has crawled out of his grave to sneer at the appointment of Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense.

Oddly enough, the only objection Republicans can seem to come up with to Hagel, was that he was leery of turning the invasion of Iraq into a long, drawn out war, and he wasn't feisty enough under their attacks at his confirmation hearing. History has shown, the Bush administration should have debated invading Iraq internally before acting, if only so they would have been better prepared for the costs.

Republicans seem to have lost the ability, if they ever had it, of making persuasive arguments based on facts, in the interest of effective governance. With Republicans now, its all partisan politics, all the time.

The "Bonehead Boehner Bunch," and "Crazy Cantor's Cronies" had better be on their best behavior tonight. Everyone knows that the GOP/Teabegger "Hoodlum's On The Hlll" are Cognitively Disabled. They do not comprehend information well, and information needs to be constantly repeated to them. The GOP/Teabeggers are also have difficulty reading information read or said to them, and complex thoughts make them insane. The GOP/Teabeggers also have a very difficult time staying on task, and are very easily distracted. The Teabeggers are unable to listen to complex thoughts, and this makes them highly manipulative. The GOP/Teabeggers are Behaviorally Disturbed, and need to be heavily medicated. So they do not blurt out stupid things at the wrong times. The GOP/Teabeggers say they are going to fact check during the State of The Union. How can they check on something that they do not believe in? The GOP/Teabeggers are also very paranoid, and "Bitchy Bachmann" is their poster child. The President is going to be speaking clearly tonight however, the Teabeggers will still not comprehend. The President will have his work cut out for him.

Boehner says Pres. Obama, "doesn't have the guts to cut expenses"? Well, the Republicans don't have the guts to do anything positive for our country! Boehner/the Republicans seem to conveniently forget that it was the REPUBLICANS who CREATED our horrible deficit (with their Iraqi war, based on lies), and now he/they want to pay the deficit off on the backs of AVERAGE Americans by cutting Social Security, Medicare, Student Loans, etc. everything AVERAGE Americans have worked for all their lives! Instead of making the rich pay their fair share and giving them tax breaks, talk about who "doesn't have the guts" - Boehner/Republicans, look to yourselves!

Judy, the entire Iraq war (start to finish) cost approximately just one year of Obama deficit spending what pray tell are talking about? He's had four trillion dollar years so far. That would be four times as much deficit so who is creating this horrible deficit?
