More: The DCCC’s $$$

The DCCC’s end-of-the-year financial report will come out today, and the committee says it will begin the 2014 cycle in better shape than 2012. It starts with $1.49 million cash on hand, $700,000 more than 2010, and it raised $184 million for the 2012 cycle, $20 million more than 2010. The DCCC also says it had more than three million donations and believes it outraised the NRCC. But it also will show $13.45 million in debt, which is $5.5 million less than the $19 million it had in 2010.

I've been reading my former Representative's memoir about his time in the Congress during the Bush administration, and I am struck by how wrong Republican politicians and ideologues turned out to be on every issue that came up. Tom Allen describes how frustrating it was to try and talk sense to the Republicans, even though he personally made friends with his colleagues on the right (he's a nice guy, what can you say? he's a Mainer.) Republicans deserve to spend their time in the wilderness, because their ideology did not serve the country well when they held the Congress and the Presidency. That is a simple fact.

Clinton Klobuchar 2016 has a nice ring to it, Biden Klobuchar sounds good too.

Sqid, I havta disagree with everyone who's touting Hillarys horn for 2016. Hillary is a Margeret Thatcher in disguise, Ruthless & Unweilding. She has had to Tone it down as SOS, because she's NOT the decision maker, President Obama is. I for one am Not in Favor of Bringing the Clinton Comedy Show back into the National spotlight or Any Bush Family member either. Age is another thing that should bring hesitation to the thoughts of Hillary & Biden for that matter, as POTUS.

I know Many Women & Men will take Offense with what i'ma saying, but thats how I see it.

The WhiteHouse is NOT a Monarchy of Bushes & Clintons or Clintons & Bushes, & it's best that We as Americans, continue away from that course as we did with electing President Barrack Hussein Obama twice.

Just My veiw from:

I thought we proved in the last election money doesn't matter. I guess the press didn't get that memo.

That's the problem with the GOP, they think they can rely on big money to win elections. They don't think they have to do anything but spent someone else's money to win.

We most certainly did not prove that money doesn't matter. Jon Tester largely won because of the extra money that poured in for him, and many House and Senate races turned on money. All we learned was that at a certain level money stops having an impact, but it is still important to have it at some level.

And if the DCCC only has enough to run a losing insurgent campaign in a R+5 district on hand with less than two years to go I am worried.

Menendez from N.J. might need some of that money for his legal defense.

Just kinda wondering why underage Hookergate is not being reported on NBC-DNC?
