Quote of the Day: If Rand Paul were president...

“Had I been president at the time and I found that you did not read the cables from Benghazi, you did not read the cables from Ambassador Stevens, I would have relieved you of your post.”

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her testimony Wednesday on the attacks in Benghazi that killed four Americans.

Ignorance is its own reward. Rand Paul is a puppy that peed on the rug, then fancied himself top dog. What a disgrace.

To all you DemacRATS who blindly follow your leaders and lower yourselves to pathetic childish bully name calling and verbal aspersions - get a clue - read the Constitution and the Bill of Rights sometime! Hillary is head of The STATE DEPARTMENT and did not do her Job and due to negligence let 4 Americans DIE in Libya. Her Department is at FAULT and now she is trying to cover her backside! She along with President Obama, so not to cause a scandal during his Reelection campaign when 4 days earlier on TV in a Speech He was telling us that terrorism was decimated - LIED and placed the blame on a VIDEO that no one knew about??They lied to all of US and tried to cover up the FUBAR and then delayed it till after the Election in hopes of sweeping it under the rug and hoping that it will all go away and it does not matter now! Corruption at its finest and you SHEEPLE bought into the CON.

Ideological...

You're kidding, right?

Following that logic, Presidents Lincoln (Fort Sumter), Roosevelt (Pearl Harbor), Reagan(Lebanon/PanAm), Ford (Cambodia), GW (9/11) should've been tossed.

Hopefully, you'll see the inanity of that logic.

Odd that neither Senator Paul, his father, nor any other Republicans, let out a peep when the Bush White House and the FBI higher-ups were getting information regularly from their field agents that there were young Muslim men in a flight school in Texas who wanted only to learn how to fly commercial airliners once they were in the air and showed no interest in learning how to take off or land those planes. Of course, those Muslim men became the pilots of those crashed planes on September 11, 2001.

Furthermore, only a semi-literate bumpkin would think that "irregardless" is an word in English. It's called a "barbarism," Senator Paul. The accepted words in English are "regardless" or "irrespective."

My advice to you? learn to speak English properly, Senator. You may not look so stupid in the media. and you may avoid going down in history as somewhat illiterate like your philosophical idol, George W. Bush, or Bush 43.

What President did not do his job on 9/11 and let over three thousand Americans killed right here in the United States? He then got over 4,400 Americans killed in Iraq.

The SoS does not personally guard all of the hundreds of Embassies and Consulates all over the world. Her request for diplomatic protection funds was cot by $3million by Republicans in the House as well. This was yet another Republican triggered vulnerability. It's a shame that the ambassador was not a billionaire so Republicans would look out for him.

Here this Sen. R. Paul to include his cohorts the usual suspects such as J. McCain and R. Johnson forgot who they were down-talking. And just like typical hound-dogs who barked up the wrong tree. Expecting a scared, timid and hapless creature to come down. They got a vicious female wolverines with a satiable taste for pooh-but repubs on her tastebuds. And after all was said and done, the only thing that anyone could say was "Bon Appetite Biotch" and would you care for an after-diner mint Madam Secretary...

Walk the Walk, Senator Fountainhead. If I were a judge and your drunk, abusive substance dependent minor son came before my bench for disrupting an air flight I would demand the Senate initiate impeachment proceedings against you. Actually, I wouldn't. But if I were an adherent of Rand's philosophy such a decision makes as much sense as your comment within the moral constructs of your namesakes "Utopia". Senator, if you want to live in The Fountainhead, it cuts both ways. For your constituents to take you at your word, you should be handing in your letter of resignation to the Governor this morning.

Mission Accomplished! Have the President and the administration present a fog of confusion for a few days until after the election, and then nothing matters.

The SOS disappeared for a few weeks and sent Susan Rice out to answer the questions. Obama is re-elected and all is right with the world.

What did it matter how four were killed in Benghazi? The election is over, it was caused by a video and there was nothing the Adminstration could have done to prevent the killings.

Whats more important? Trying to catch Obama and cohorts in a conspiracy to cover up something; god only knows what, or finding out the best way to protect diplomats in the future. Those fools really think that their main job is to whip up conspiracy theories about the other party.

If I was God, I would call down hellfire on Congress for the most inept group of idiots ever to be elected

If we applied his logic to every event in our history, Reagan would have been impeached over Iran / Contra, Bush would have been impeached over 9/11, Colin Powell would have been fired over Iraq. But I guess it is better than working for a living and actually trying to do his job ... like doing something about the economy.

To kaybeetoys: This from Wikipedia -- easy to find, really:

"Randal Howard Paul[6] was born on January 7, 1963, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Carol (Wells) Paul and Ron Paul. Paul's father is a physician and U.S. Representative of Texas's 14th congressional district. The middle child of five, his siblings are Ronald "Ronnie" Paul Jr., Lori Paul Pyeatt, Robert Paul and Joy Paul-LeBlanc.[7] Paul was baptized in the Episcopal Church[8] and identified as a practicing Christian as a teenager.[9] Despite his father's libertarian views and strong support for individual rights,[9][10] the novelist Ayn Rand was not the inspiration for Paul's first name; he went by "Randy" while growing up.[11] His wife shortened his name to "Rand".[9][12][13]"
