I loved it when SoS blew up at with Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) who asked why evacuees from Benghazi were not immediately questioned about the cause of the attack.

The nerve of Rand Paul to tell SoS Hillary Clinton if he were President he would fire her. HAH,

If I were President I would have Attorney General Eric Holder investigate Rand Paul for treason and inciting riots through his affiliation right wing nut job baggers and militias.

I love SoS Clinton's new glasses.

Hillary is not impressed with this dopes; especially McCain

This is Hillary Clinton looking at John McCain:

Defiantly a waste of tax dollars on a witch hunt. What did they expect her to say ? Obama made me do it

As far as ruining her ambitions for presidency if she so chooses, i doubt it.

So she takes responsibility but Americans have short term memories and in Hillary's own words. “What difference at this point does it make?”

Woods was visiting, not officially working, advanced to assist Americans under fire at the Benghazi despite an order to stand down. He covered the mile to the embassy from the CIA safe house in minutes, fired upon the perpetrators at the embassy and rescued about 30 people who otherwise may have been killed. He was undermanned and unfortunately did not discover Ambassador Stevens unconscious on the floor of the embassy safe room which was dark without power and was smoke filled.

Woods retreated the mile back to the CIA safe house presumably with all of the 30 rescued individuals where he took up a machine gun to defend all in the CIA safe house. The terrorists renewed their attack this time on the CIA safe house. Has anyone seen a report that the 6 or 7 CIA operatives at the safe house joined Woods to defend the CIA safe house?

During this second confrontation, at the CIA safe house, there was a report stating CIA announced they had a tracer on a terrorist gun or mortar emplacement, and then received a second order to stand down. They stood down.

Again Woods did not stand down and blasted away with his machine gun mounted on the roof of the CIA safe house building. The CIA safe house did take a hit from a large gun, mortar, or rocket on an upper floor, not the roof, as reported and evident in many photographs. Woods body, it is reported, was found dead slumped over his machine gun. It is reported Woods was killed by schrapnel.

Was Woods shot in the back? I hope no. Was there a credible autopsy? I hope yes.

About 6 hours after Woods attempt to rescue people at the embassy, a second rescue discovered Ambassador Stevens still alive in the safe room at the Embassy. He was taken to a hospital, died there, officially from smoke inhalation.

The US Cabinet was assembled at the White House, it is reported, watched live TV coverage of all of this delivered by 2 drones with cameras.

The 6 week long story that an LA cartoonish video is responsible for the terrorist attack and caused the death of Woods and Stevens, a story clung to by Obama, Rice, and Clinton, and millions of Obama apologists, is one of the most bizarre political spins in world history.

Amy B. Portland, ME

I just read, on another site, that Republican leaders warned junior Representatives, not to attack Hillary.

How about senile warmongers? Many rightwingers don't like McCain, in part because he was tortured and his mental stability has always been questioned. With a running mate like Sarah Palin, we no longer had to speculate, but the thought of Deedle Dee and Deedle Dum in the White House... haunting.

In regard to Benghazi, I challenge folks to research all the far more egregious crap during the Bush/Cheney administration and then get back with us. Of course it would take weeks, even months to compile it all, but we'll wait.

Oh, and also in regard to Susan Rice, let's hear from the leader of hypocrisy Mike Huckabee about tolerance in regard to women's rights -- This worm who supports the "personhood" amendment dares to criticize the Obama administration of lacking diversity?

Where the heck is the article about the Virginia Teapublicans, and how this underhanded "strategery" can be countered? Perhaps with all the blue states passing legislation that will make the electoral college irrelevant, thus elections becoming nationwide per the popular vote? This is WAY more important (and therefore interesting) than rightwing nontroversies like Benghazi.

We did not buy the election or appoint moronic Sec. of States or appoint known idiots to Cabinet posts. We did not sell our country for an Obama phone and food stamps. Why don't the libs on here do some soul searching and see what they find. Oh I forgot that they sold theirs.

That out just now. Think of it gentlemen. According to Drill Sergeants, we listen and shoot better. And to Medics, we are smaller targets and easier to carry out of the battlefield when injured. Our nesting instincts makes sure both men and women around us are taken care of. We also have a calming effect on would be aggressors. Put that all together and we are an asset in the battlefield.

ruTkidding - what a joke. Republicans have no soul, no character, no integrity and you, John McCain, Rand Paul, etc - show it daily. Your only goal is to put anyone and everyone in this administration down.

You've made NO calls for an investigation into Bush, Cheney, etc., ignoring the repeated warnings about the US being attacked - using our own aircraft - which we all knew took place 9/11/2001. Oh, no, the 3000 plus lives lost that day don't matter to you because the GOP was responsible. And, the over 4000 lives lost because of their made up war is also on them.

Go away until you develop a soul and some integrity. Don't worry - we know that won't ever happen!

"The [Accountability Review Board] made very clear that the level of responsibility for the failures that they outlined was set at the assistant secretary level and below," she said.

billybob-6210632 -- To rephrase that at a fifth-grade level, the cuts in the budget made by Republicans is part of the reason our security was under-par, similar to armor for our military in Iraq, or anything not profitable to the Plutocrats in the military industrial complex. Ooops, still too many big words.

Bob-2711464 -- A human perspective would require a heart. Your reaction is Projection Politics.

A Fox News interview ended rather abruptly on Monday after a guest took not one but two jabs at the network hosting him.

Co-anchor Jon Scott interviewed Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Thomas Ricks, who has covered the military for decades ... [Ricks weighed] in on the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi and Sen. John McCain's criticisms of Amb. Susan Rice.

"I think Benghazi was generally hyped by this network especially," Ricks said. He added that he thought McCain seemed to be "backing off" from criticizing Rice since "the campaign [was] over."

Ricks compared the situation to security contractors who were killed in Iraq. He described the attack in Benghazi as a "small fire-fight" and added, "I think the emphasis on Benghazi has been extremely political, partly because Fox is operating as the wing of the Republican Party."

In summary, do you know how many US personnel have been killed in embassies and consulates over the many administrations prior? Hundreds. As Rick said, this was a "small fire-fight" in comparison to attacks historically. Not to dismiss the tragedy and loss of life no matter the number, but the reason the rightwing is so obsessed with this (and other nontroversies like Fast and Furious or Solyndra) is purely political.

Hillary has seen many fishing expeditions before, and recognizes one when she sees it. I would advise you Teapublican biotchs to remember that the Obama administration chose not to investigate Bush/Cheney's invasion of Iraq, in part due to Bill Clinton's impeachment (which was made null and void) and desire to put an end to such witch hunts.

What would have been the reaction, I wonder, had the phrase: "What difference does it make now?" been uttered by a Republican in 2001-2002.

Watching Secretary of State Clinton this morning take on the GOPer Senators was poetry in motion. She did it with grace, dignity and no nonsense spunk. Cheers, Mrs. Cllinton.

McCain, Rand Paul, Corker and other GOPers looked pathetic. McCain continues his refusal to move beyond his talking points and rants about Ambassador Rice and the Sunday talk shows. McCain has become an angry, bitter, old grump who could spend plenty of time ranting about wanting answers at a press microphone but couldn't be bothered to attend the intelligence briefings that would have answered his questions. Rand Paul proved ignorant by being upset and concerned that Mrs. Clinton did not read every single cable that comes to the State Dept; talk about stupidity, I'd be willing to bet that Senator Paul doesn't read every email or letter he receives because like our Secretary of State, he has a staff to do those things.

Afraid my patience with right-wingers whining about Benghazi has been worn to a very short fuse. The notion that Mrs. Clinton should have been fired for this tragedy angers me. Based on what? That she didn't read every single cable coming to the State Department? Bet Rand Paul doesn't read all his emails and letters either. These GOP yahoos complaining about the security fail to remember that THEY helped CUT the BUDGET, they denied the requests for more embassy security funding and now, they dare say Mrs. Clinton should have been fired? Where was THEIR CONCERN BEFORE it happened? What a pathetic excuse for legislators these GOPers are. We did not hear these complaints back in 2001 after 9/11 which occurred in the United States not in a war-torn country. There were no democratic legislators demanding that Condi Rice be fired or Donald Rumsfeld or Colin Powell.

Hillary is a smart cookie. She is tough and not someone to mess with. The Republicans have tried all sorts of little things to make a mountain out of but, in the end, they all end up being mole hills after all. The Republicans will have their day in the sun. They'll posture, whine, complain, accuse, name call, all in desperation but will get them nothing AGAIN.

She as tough as an old piece of jerky - OLD!!! Castro would at least have new ideas and not be sucking up to the POTUS and being the fall guy. I am tired of Hillary, Bill, Obama, Bush, Gingrich and the list goes on........ New representation in all of the Administration and Congress in 2016!!!!!

It was tiresome to listen to Republicans prancing about with insulting conspiracy theories, worn out talking points, ignoring facts they very well know, and turning opportunity for rational interaction into a circus of clowns. This time they obstructed themselves and treated the real issues superficially. This was a ludicrous waste of time by sassy little boys and one senile old man.

Meanwhile, Republicans cut 300 million out of diplomatic security funds prior to the attack. Obfuscating little rats...

Wonder if Hillary would be spouting the same bunk if it had been Chelsea who was murdered in Benghazi. "What does it matter" can you imagine the famlies of those 4 American's who were murdered must be thinking. This country is in a mess with a Democratically controlled government.

Makes you wonder why the Media does not Interview them?? In the Constitution it says that we are a REPUBLIC - not a Democracy !! Look up ARTICLE 4 SECTION 4. All Democracies are socialistic and end up in Dictatorships . Look beyond what you see! Wake up from the dream before it becomes a Nightmare!

What a display as to why Hillary is the front runner and hopefully the next President of the United States of America. Her act of tearing into the asses of these pooh-but repubs was just a taste of what she can do. These repub senators can now proudly display their ass-bitten scars from their last tangle with her. Thanking the heavenly stars that they're supposedly on the same team. Because not if, but when she will have to give the order to tear ass into a foreign entity. Then we'll be able to see what she really can do... "2016 Hillary Rising"

I don't want that A--hole running anything, a women for President I don't think this Country is truly ready for that because, when they are running mates they never seem to win. Besides I can't wait till he is gone their probably won't be a Black President for a very long time after this mess!!!!!!!!!!! It will be a Republican and the heart of America Will prevail not those a--wipe liberal Gay Marriage States!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

POS Hillbags is a Absolute DISGRACE and in any other country would be lined against a brick wall and SHOT. A megalomaniac of the highest order that is as disgusting as a bucket full of MAGGOTS. Only in America in a land full of Morons could such a POS survive.
