AP: “President Barack Obama is likely to name Denis McDonough, one of his closest national security advisers, as his next chief of staff, according to people familiar with the White House thinking.”
USA Today calls McDonough the “strong favorite.”
Politico: “By selecting McDonough, Obama is opting for the familiar: a trusted aide who’s been at his side since the 2008 campaign and is credited with keeping the administration’s internal wheels turning smoothly on foreign policy issues. But McDonough brings less experience than his predecessors with another typical part of the job: fielding sometimes angry salvos from members of Congress with home-district concerns about aspects of the administration’s policy or budget decisions.”

Yet another, as Nasty DumbFux, Roselle, IL terms it: "stall, male and pale" Barry appointee??
I guess Barry wasn't kidding when he told Russian President Mededev he would have "more flexibility" after the 2012 election.
I guess he doesn't know any qualified women or persons of color for important position in his second term.
Probably more like a pay back for coming up with the dodge and stall tactics during the election after the Benghazi debacle but I could be wrong.
The most powerful person in Obama's administration is President Obama, and last time I checked, he is still African American (first generation, no less!)
Who the President chooses, is his choice, not yours! Some people just cannot get past this color thing!!! S.T.F.U. already!!!! Its his cabinet, let him decide who he wants where!
Some people are sore losers to the bitter end, why? Why not let the hate go? You would feel so much better, eh Joe Albano? How bout you, there Ozzieboy, want to give up that hatred? Once you stop hating, and start loving, you will feel soooooooooo much better! And, you will be more likeable!!! Who know's, you may even make some friends????
Have a great day, everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The most pownfull person in the Obama White House is Valerie Jerrett, Amy.
Interesting bio of her on the internet. Radical socialist.
Most presidents get the staff they want. One exception was Andrew Johnson where the Republicans railroaded the poor shlub who was, himself, a bit contrary. Lincoln could control things but unfortuate circumstances took him out of the picture and we were stuck with ol' Andy and extremists in the Republican party.
With today's media it is quite clear what games the extreme right is playing. People eventually wake up from their mundane lives and start paying attention wherein the extremists will lose power. Next year there may not be much of a change in numbers in Congress but on the Republican side there is likely to be more moderates and fewer extremists. If not their party may well go the way of the Federalists or the Whigs.
