Subscribe to RSSOne month after she took ill, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton returned to her busy schedule, and will prepare to testify on the Benghazi terror attack that killed four Americans. NBC's Andrea Mitchell reports.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton received a standing ovation on her first day back at work since she suffered a concussion and was diagnosed with a blood clot in December.
Her staff presented her with two gifts: A football helmet emblazoned with the State Department logo, paired with a football jersey with the number 112 across the back, for the number of countries the secretary has visited during her four-year tenure.
Her deputy noted that Washington is a contact sport.
A photo released by the State Department showed Clinton hoisting the helmet into the air after pulling it out of a box.

Thank you Secretary Clinton for a job well done. I didn't vote for you in 2012 but if you run in 2016 I probably will. Your job was tough, made tougher by the preceding Administration, and I'll bet former Secretaries of State Colin Powell and Condi Rice are envious of the freedom you were given and how well treated you were as you served quite a different President than they did. You have paved a straight and flat road for your successor. Thanks, again, good luck and may God bless you.

He said there wasn't time to react to the Benghazi situation.....not true! The investigation is far from over. New reports show they asked for help the night before!
The list goes on. I am not in support of any party...they have all messed things up in a big way. We need to get all our representatives to "represent" our voices and not their own. Americans need to quit whimpering and get this great country back on it's feet. Our current leaders are not doing their jobs. Write to them and tell them what you want! Tell them you want your country back!

These rabid conservative conspiracy mongers seem to forget that 1) it was a consulate, and therefore not accorded the same security level as the embassy 2) the CIA was running a covert operation in an annex and may have been the target...but the CIA is not talking (Issa did release the names of some Libyans helping the US, though) 3) GOP representatives in the House argued for less spending on security for two years running prior to the incident, reducing the ability of State to fund security 4) Libya is a sovereign country and would did not allow an armed incursion by a foreign force and 5) it was the CIA chain of command (according to Fox news) that ordered the annex to stand down when the CIA requested a military force.
To all of you that are posting "Hilary Clinton in 2016", have you already given up on the next 4 years under President Obama? I can understand that but isn't it a little early to start counting your chickens.....

Glad to see Hillary out of the hospital and feeling well again. She has worked damn hard for this country. The naysayers just like to hear themselves complain and beat another person down. Doesn't matter what Hillary does, there will always be haters.

And for the record, George Bush was a laughing stock in other countries. I used to teach conversational English via telephone and internet to people living in Europe and other parts of the world. These students were doctors, lawyers, scientists, etc. Very intelligent people. Every single student I taught (and there were many) thought George Bush was a total idiot. Many even asked why American people would ever vote for someone like him? They just couldn't understand the attraction. Well neither do I. I think George Bush was a nice guy who loved this country, but I totally disagreed with his positions on most things. Does that mean hatred towards him? Absolutely not.
