I hope everybody watched Maine's new Senator Angus King on Meet The Press on Sunday.

Just imagine, this is the guy the Chamber of Commerce and Karl Rove spent millions to run attack ads against night and day, day and night, no exaggeration, during the recent elections.

A reasonable, Independent, mild mannered former governor and businessman, who wants to work on solutions in a non-partisan way in the Senate.

Can you imagine? The Maine Chamber of Commerce begged the national group to stop attacking him, because they knew he was business-friendly, in the old fashioned sense of the phrase. But, no they persisted. They ruined my TV watching for months!

Makes you realize how far-out, ideologically-nuts, and downright unpatriotic Republicans have become, to attack a qualified candidate for the Senate, not even a Democrat, just because he's pragmatic and reasonable.

PS It was also a huge waste of money, although any money spent in Maine by outside interests is never a complete waste. Hey, the skiing is great this winter, come on up!

No thanks, on the invite, I don't find hurtling down a hill at break neck speed, struggling to remain upright as recreation. I have been to Maine and fide it to be quite interesting, the people were friendly and the food was great even for a truck stop. But, when I seen signs warning me about moose standing in the road I was somewhat concerned. ( - :

I agree no thanks to the skiing, maybe many years ago I would try it, but at this point strapping two boards to my feet and sliding down a mountainside sounds like a recipe to just put a new crack in my ass.

I prefer hanging out in the Old Port, myself! But, if Karl Rove wants to come to Maine and ski down an icey mountain, I'd put him on the chair lift myself!

You know what kind of fur would look good on Karl when skiing, a Douglas fir.

Amy, I watched MTP and was quite impressed with Mr. King. He seems a lot more reasonable then most. Hopefully that will carry through to his votes in the Senate. Also hope he won't be corrupted by the lobby's that would change him.

Angus King is a sharp guy and he's been schooled by Olympia Snowe, who retired in disgust from the Senate at the height of her popularity at home. She didn't endorse the Republican who ran to replace her, and I believe she is assisting King in learning the ropes.

Where do they stand on FAKE filibuster reform? Boxer and Leahy and Levin are all balking on meaningful reform! What is up with that?

You have no idea how ironic your poorly phrased statement #8 is.

The masses will indeed be killed. Bioweaponry masquerading as a naturally occurring plague, more than likely the chosen method of how the elites and Zionists will protect their positions.

The sheeple will have awoken far too late to save themselves.
