VIDEO: The Week Ahead: Lock up, Capitol Hill edition
Previewing the priorities of the new Congress, including the national debt, guns, and immigration. Plus, what happens when you merge Lock Up with Capitol Hill? Andy finds out.
Too bad Republican Senator Crapo(what a fitting name for a Repub!) won't be showcased on the new Lock Up. The Mormon Senator plead guilty to DWI charges and basically got a slap on the wrist. Just goes to show you that Mormons who profess not to throw back the liquor are nothing but liars.
Definitely good to see both FR's TWA and The Dew Drop Inn back. Time to celebrate the new year, and thank our First Read hosts for still providing us with the best place to talk politics. Cheers!
I don't know but FR's Andy reminded me of Joe Walsh, same tough guy talk with anger issues.
Previewing the priorities of the new Congress, including the national debt, guns, and immigration.
=========================
Were you speaking about Democrats in Congress because I'm definitely having trouble identifying Republican Congressmen/Senators who are pushing "guns" as a legislative priority.
Oh and when you cash your paycheck (or unemployment check whatever the case may be) at the DDI to pay for the drinks, don't forget to look at the stub and the change in deductions. It may spoil a little of the celebration but it is what you voted for.
Make that a Vodka Martini, shaken icy cold, with a twist. Don't forget to feed the twist scraps to the sour lemon group, aka TTTH, still crying over the end of the tax holiday for FICA deductions.
If the request lines are now open a "KDDI", I want to be bona-fide PIG and HOG the beat box with all these requests for my pal who is feeling green orange around the gills:
Smokey Robinson, "Tears of a Clown"
Jackie Wilson "Lonely Teardrops"
"?" and the Mysterions "96 tears"
Little Anthony and the Imperials "Tears on my Pillow".
Then, for good measure, I'd like to have you play one for the wife of the guy that's orange around the gills, this country oldie by Loretta Lynn, "Don't Come Home a Drinkin (With Lovin on your Mind)"
Well, since I have to work both days this weekend, I'd better be the Designated Driver here, so guess I'll just have a sarsparilla - or maybe a YooHoo so I can drink to all the Yahoo newborns in our midst?
Oh, and I see Drive-by finally showed up to take back the deejay job - well, too bad, like Speaker Boehner, I'm not giving up my supersized gavel just yet. So we'll get to your requests, but you have to take a number and get in line like everyone else.
Okay, first, since I didn't get to play it for the apocalypse, let's get in Skeeter Davis' "End of the World" so we don't have to wait until the next one comes along.
For our newly re-elected Speaker, of course, we can only play "Master of the House" from "Les Mis" one more time ("Everybody raise a glass! Raise it up the Master's ____! Everybody raise a glass to the Master of the House!"). Followed, of course, by Leslie Gore's immortal "It's My Party And I'll Cry If I Want To".
In honor of the late great Patti Page, we'll be playing "Old Cape Cod", "Allegheny Moon" and "Tennessee Waltz" all night long (Uncle Redneck, may I have the first dance?).
And for our two newly sworn in trailblazing members of the House and Senate, Ms. Duckworth and Ms. Baldwin, what else but a little Debbie Reynolds?:
Thanks, Layton and Feisty! Yes, tis paradise I do live in!
Feisty, I'm a whiskey girl, so make mine a double and please make it a Jamison. I just love Fridays on the vine!
Hey, ChubetteInRed, who I commented yesterday must be a re-reg(and did indeed send a complaint to NV moderators) has been sent to a "fat farm" for rehab! Stay tuned, I'm sure "it" will be back! HA!
Speaking of FR issues, how come sometimes the page goes to WonderWall? Now, that is annoying!
The Aviation Cocktail is a gin-based cocktail whose special appeal comes from the addition of maraschino liqueur. Previously headed for the endangered species list, the Aviation Cocktail seems to be having a revival thanks to the Internet. The Aviation was once regarded as the prince of cocktails, but the scarcity of maraschino liqueur nearly sent the drink into tippler's oblivion. The name of this feisty Depression-era cocktail is supposedly linked to air travel of the time—a risky venture not for the faint of heart.
Only the most traditional or serious bars still make the Aviation. This is one drink that home-bartending aficionados are dabbling in.
Shake the Aviation hard enough that tiny flecks of ice float in the drink as soon as it is poured. Stay clear of the gooey syrup in maraschino cherry jars. It's no substitute for the liqueur.
INSTRUCTIONS Shake the gin, maraschino liqueur, and lemon juice well with ice; then strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry, if desired.
Jeez, Feisty! How do you know these things?! HA! I only guessed about Chubby because of "its" caustic manner straight out the gate! You are good, woman!
Sorry, Mark in SoCal, apparently there are a couple different versions? I did see one about the violet thingy! Sorry, I'm a fast and straight shooter so not real familiar with them "fancy" drinks!
Someday I will find that cyber tap room. Scotch & water. I hope that jute box has some Dead, 'Ship of Fools'. It is always so much fun to read your post, best wishes.
I am now back on US soil in the cold North and have way too many clothes on.
After living in flip flops and light cottons for fifteen days, I do not like wearing socks.
Bringing the pictures of the awesome Panama Canal and greetings from fellow travellers from all over the world.
They all so pleased that Obama got reelected, they bought me a couple of drinks from my new Brit friends from Birmingham and London as we discussed politics into the night.
I will be ready for the political threads by Monday. Still in vacation mode.
Your recipe is missing the creme de violette - an essential component! Some recipes call for a fruit brandy in place of the violette, but I think a brandy Aviation is inferior. And, the choice of maraschino liqueur is important - Luxardo has a spicy character that really switches the cocktail on.
'Tis an honor appreciated by aviators to have a fine cocktail named after our profession - an occupation still not for the faint of heart!
Mark, I will have to ask a couple of the bush pilots here if they know of this drink, the old timers might, but the youngers stick to Alaskan beers. Cheers!
After living in flip flops and light cottons for fifteen days, I do not like wearing socks.
Jealous! It's a whopping 16 degrees here for the HIGH today ... the 1 degree mornings are getting downright OLD! Happy you enjoyed your cruise! I love a good Appletini now and then and will buy a round for you to celebrate your tanned toes that are now sock-covered!
Welcome back, Northstar! I was listening to this song the other night and thinking of you and your trip (and of course the line about "Bright be the Northstar to shine constantly" didn't hurt!)
@Exit0 - Not to worry, the DDI is wherever you want it to be. And the jukebox is bottomless, so "Ship of Fools" should be playing momentarily.
@Drive-by - Not to make you jealous or anything, but I actually saw Skeeter sing that in person at the Grand Ole Opry one time!
@Alaska Girl - Oh noes, you said Alaska and beer in the same sentence - forget the DDI, I'm heading for the Salty Dawg on Homer Spit and if anyone else gets there before me, start looking for my business card on the wall!
Sorry Layton but I really think Cantor wanted that Gavel, "I'd gavel out taxes, I'd gavel out healthcare!" Wow you are right about that tune I can't stop, I made the mistake of checking out your link. Maybe this will help, and will go over better now that everybody has had few drinks, this is a re-post inspired by Amy's new avatar
Amy your avatar reminds me of a story. A guy is walking past an insane asylum which is surrounded by a big wooden fence, and hears this loud chanting from behind the fence, thirteen, thirteen! thirteen!, the people behind the fence are chanting in unison and it just gets louder and louder, thirteen!, thirteen! The guy is really curious about this and he notices a knot hole in the fence so be bends down and peeks through, and as soon as he does someone pokes him in the eye, as he is walking away holding his hand over his poked eye he hears the people behind the fence chanting loudly fourteen!, fourteen!, fourteen!
I'm pretty sure Cantor did as well. Wonder if we'll see smiling pics anymore with him and Boehner?
The joke ... ay yi yi! Still laughing! :)
Northstar, ankle bracelets and socks ... smart girl! I do have a vaca in my future ... a wonderful wedding to attend in Las Vegas soon with one of Bobby Flay's newest beloved chefs as the groom! :)
President Barack Obama's campaign has been fined $375,000 by the Federal Election Commission for reporting violations related to a set of donations received during the final days of the campaign.
The fines are among the largest ever levied on a presidential campaign by the FEC and stem from a series of missing filings for nearly 1,200 contributions totaling nearly $1.9 million.
lisa s She did and he knows. Glad you checked in been kinda worried about you and yours with all the ongoing Sandy debacle. Let me know when your coming back to the States and we'll throw you a welcome home party. In the meantime keep well and safe and good fishing.
Capital Hill LockUp, hmmm, there's quite a view House republicans, some GOP Senators (might be a democrat or two as well) who should be locked up with a copy of the Constitution, a book on Economics, a dictionary with "compromise" marked and hi-lighted, and a book showing what Reagan actually did while president.
Republicans say that an increase to the debt ceiling must be accompanied by equal or greater cuts in spending. President Obama says that he has asked for an increase to cover money already spent by Congress and if Republicans decide not to pay the bills they have approved then the wrath of big business and the world will fall on them President Obama will not negotiate over this.
Bring it to the new Sequester debate (3/01/13) , bring it to the Budget CR debate (3/27/13) but he will not allow the debt ceiling to be used to hold Americans hostage and put our credit rating in jeopardy again.
BCWC, good point, and a teacher to guide them along since I think some have comprehension problems.
And since Dennis mentioned it, while the teacher is helping the Lock Up crowd, he/she can review what the Debt Ceiling actually is and just what happens when the US defaults on its debt--maybe the teach can borrow Netanyahu's picture of that cartoon bomb ignited.
dennis -- might be a good night to reminisce about the obama we used to know. we can only imagine where we would be today if he had not done a complete flop on his principles. what happened?
"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."
The debt ceiling, used by no other country, it is only a political tool/event. Party leaders allow some members to rail against it only after they know they have enough votes and the debt ceiling will be increased.
It you want true debt control then make Congress include an increase in our debt limit with each spending bill they consider. Before, not after they spend !!
Feisty Jody --- thanks for the invite, root beer would be good. I live in the "red zone' IN WA. Things get a little" techy " around here once in a while. We all need a cool down time.
Which is one more reason I always look forward to TWA, you know it's time you can let your hair down and take it easy after a long week of politics! ☺
Hey, I'll show you how things get done around here!
LoL. Very funny "take" on today's CONgress.
David Gregory, it is one of the most unexplainable unforgiveable moments in our history.
Please ask Sen. McConnell, who I agree, was instrumental in bringing this deal to a close btw, ask him WHY he did not want to work alongside President Obama in his first term. This was supposedly his idea.
Gatcha should ask the Turtle where the GOP/TP leadership (?) will be meeting on Jan 21 to outline their strategy to continue their subversive tendencies against President Obama and therefore the entire country.
Here is my take on it, Biden is a good man but he is not calling the shots, he was the mouthpiece at McConnell's request and the only reason is that it is political poison and quite embarrassing for McConnell to now be perceived as compromising and negotiating with the president, he has to win re-election back in Kentucky. Obama did McConnell a political favor he does not deserve by letting Biden be seen as the negotiator, why do you think McConnell let Reid pass a stack of bills in the middle of the night without the usual BS from senate Republicans.
Forrest---I think you have it exactly right. I think the President is pretty secure and doesn't need to get credit for anything. In fact, I have the sense that he thinks the whole exercise is fairly silly.
Hey Feisty a new episode of "Darth ROOOOOOVE!" AKA. Karl Rove. The GOP/Teabegger "Master of Madness and Misinformation." Go todays Programming Notes and find out where "Darth Rove" is now. It is obvious that the Teabegger Congress is still acting Cognitively Disabled, Behaviorally Disturbed, and have no common sense at all. "Bonehead Boehner" is not only an individual with no leadership skills. He is just extremely 'uncompromising.' He is still leading a "House Of Hoodlum's" that have no legislative abilities. To ignore our fellow citizens that were crushed by Super Storm Sandy. Is not only inhumane but it is just UnAmerican. The Teabegger Congress is showing how insensitive they are to the views, and feelings of others. Little "Richie Rich Ryan" has no clue what it means to face the climatic destruction caused by Sandy. "Crazy Cantor" and his fellow Teabeggers have no problem saying no. Saying no to some of our citizens. Is really saying no to all of our citizens. The Teabegger Congress is ran like a "Mental Hospital." The "Mental Madness" of this Teabegger Congress is just a real sad joke. On their part! Progressive Power Think Tanks have not been shocked at all by the Cognitive Disablilties expressed by this Teabegger Mental Hospital. Hey! Hey! Ho! Ho! The Party of NO has got to go! Time to get the vote out for 2014.
Actually, I've kind of been watching my milk cartons to see if that 'your trees are just the right height' guy disappeared to. Anyone know where that screwball is these days?
Seeking- I agree, but shoot, just like Newt or Bachmann, or Santorumm or the rest- it was SO much fun to have 'em to kick around. Haven't had that much fun since the pigs ate my brother, I tell ya.
Since Romney didn't really want to be President, he didn't have anything to get over when he lost--it was probably a relief to him! In all of that nonsense, I read somewhere that Tagg Romney harbors political ambitions and I thought---oh please, not again with this family of entitlement.
Really, glad to see your little corner of the Good ole USA, Switch to the sanity of Right Too Work.
Now to the Adults in the room.
Congratulations, Encouraging and Important Changes in your part of America will insure a prosperous future. Also, Giving the people the possibility of beneficial employment, without being forced "Join a Union" merely to provide for their families. Is a Crucial component promoting the freedom, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness for many, Hard working Americans.
I am quite Honored, to have the opportunity of acquaintance with Gov. Schneider.
Your Governor, is trying very hard to save & expand the economy of your state.
Since Michigan, Apparently seems to be willing to embrace Capitalism. in a sane and responsible manner I have decided to create several exploratory committees for expansion within my organizations. In the Wolverine state, if the reports are favorable, Perhaps, I will be more willing to Expand some of my manufacturing entities there, as well as logistics, transportation & energy exploration This means jobs, jobs, JOBS... However, if you in Michigan desire to have equitable employment provided by my corporations, it will require that I be allowed to make some profit...$ "The puck is on your ice, don't blow the hat trick by body checking me into the wall...
Btw I don't really have to tell you this, but Illinois is loosing jobs and providers of employment. Same as California. I Myself, have TENTATIVELY decided to down size in the land of Lincoln, as a matter of fact over 1800 pink slips went out there before 12/31/2012 Sorry, just Business, nothing personal,,, mostly? I have business Buddies doing the same things.
Let me ask you Illinoisans one question, OK? How many of you are thinking of pulling up stakes, and relocating elsewhere for greater employment opportunity and more favorable, tax consequences? Let me just say, Give some consideration to your families fiscal future.
Humbly, ask for guidance, Pray and choose wisely...
convenientliesyoubelieve - no dear - only you believe your lies. Illinois is gaining jobs and will gain more. A number of companies are relocating to the state and we will continue with that growth.

More corruption from the most devisive, corrupt administration of modern history - Obama's legacy - The Corruption Continues
Marcus - the most divisive and corrupt group in politics is the Republican party. You know, the party that said "to hell with the country, we'll block everything this President proposes in order to make him a one-term President." You know, the group that has pledged their loyalty to Grover Norquist above that of the US citizens. THAT is the MOST corrupt ever in this country!
And amazingly enough, we're still not even a bit closer to Armageddon, socialism, Greece, $5.00 a gallon gas, 20% unemployment, FEMA re-education camps, or having to salute the Kenyan flag than we were at the start of Year One. Maybe by the end of Year Eight, you guys will finally take the blinders off and realize just how good things have really been under President Obama......but then again, probably not. You've made up your mind - or had it made up for you - and nothing's going to change that. Well, that's your problem, not mine.
"Liberal Democrats always wind up going rogue in the White House it seems"
Oh, yeah.....Richard Nixon and George W. Bush - the most liberal Democratic presidents ever! Besides, didn't somebody a while back claim that "going rogue" in Washington was a great thing to do? Who the heck was that again? Sarah.....Sarah somebody.....wait a minute, I've almost got it......oh, wait, was it Sarah Palin??? You betcha!

Yellowbama should not be given leeway on anything . He is a habitual liar . He should be impeached for derelection of duty for the murder of 4 americans in Bengahzi . He and his staff members were watching the atack in real time in the situation room . He didn"t do anything because he had to fly to Vegas for a fund raiser . I"m 71 with an 8th grade education , never in my life have I seen anything like him except Jimmy Carter . When the Lybian conflict started , he let Hillary handle that while he played golf . It burns me up when he compares himself to other presidents , most of them were men that"s something I havent seen in him . G.W. Bush warned Bin Laden 4mos he was going to bomb him . If someone tells me they are going to bomb me , you can color me gone . Hillary , rice , Petraeus all should have perjury charges filed against them .

Hey!
Welcome Back Northstar!
How was the cruise? We missed ya!
As for the Appletini, I can guarantee it will be MUCH better than the ones we had at the joint in Vegas! BLECH!
Mark, I will have to ask a couple of the bush pilots here if they know of this drink, the old timers might, but the youngers stick to Alaskan beers. Cheers!
Say bartender I'll have a "Plan B", it's a new drink, you put all the ingredients into an electric blender, and then pull the plug. HA.
Feisty,
The cruise was out of this world. The best ever, and so were the Appletinis.
I missed you too.
Glad to be back and seeing all the familar monikers and posts from

Jo- at the old Ryman?? Damn, you must be at least as old (er...seasoned) as DBO.
JoAnne! The Salty Dawg! You are on! First two rounds are on me!
Drive-by - Sadly, no.....it was the new one. Back in 1970-something? But it was stpretty cool. And don't worry, I'm still pretty well "seasoned"!
Alaska Girl - I'm on my way! Order me some beer-battered halibut fish & chips, okay?
Forrest - Eric Cantor? I'd gavel out "Danger"! I'd gavel out a war-ar-ning!!!
Make mine a double and I don't care what it is! Beer is nice, but liquor is quicker!
Just stopped in to say "Hola".
Been a busy two weeks at work for me.
Life is good!
Obama Rocks!!!
Drinks on Me.
Salud
You got it, JoAnne! My mouth is watering already! Dammit, bartender! Feisty, where is my double Jamison?! LOL
I am off and running, gang! Have fun, and remember, do not drink and drive. That bartender Feisty has a heavy pour! :)
JoAnne,
Thanks for the link.
What a perfect song...the North Star, West winds and the ocean.
Layton,
I have put away my ankle bracelets too. They look silly over socks.
It is 16 degrees in MN, but will warm up to 30 by Sunday , a real heat wave.
I know I always plan a winter getaway to a nice balmy beach in the winter.
Hope you have a vacation in your future.
Jo-Anne - Eric Cantor? I'd gavel out love between my brothers and my sisters all over this land
Forrest ....
ARRRGGHH! ;-)
I am going to have that song stuck in my head all night!
Switching to Crown Black ... definitely need a shot . . . .
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUKB3PxG-0E
Forrest,
I'm pretty sure Cantor did as well.
Happy New Year! :)
Strange how on Nov 2nd the unemployment rate was 7.7 and today when it was released the 7.8 number was announced as "it held the same".
And that spike up was even after all of the holidays seasonal hires?
Sad - as we enter year 5 of Obama - No jobs and an economy he can't fix
President Barack Obama's campaign has been fined $375,000 by the Federal Election Commission for reporting violations related to a set of donations received during the final days of the campaign.
The fines are among the largest ever levied on a presidential campaign by the FEC and stem from a series of missing filings for nearly 1,200 contributions totaling nearly $1.9 million.
You don't say?
Feisty and FR, Please tell IR that I am south of the border and will picking up some Anejo for the DDI.
Diet coke please.
Marcus D - please post your source.
lisa s She did and he knows.
You might be over-reaching with all that reading Jody ... maybe include some flashcards into the mix.
Republicans say that an increase to the debt ceiling must be accompanied by equal or greater cuts in spending.
President Obama says that he has asked for an increase to cover money already spent by Congress and if Republicans decide not to pay the bills they have approved then the wrath of big business and the world will fall on them
President Obama will not negotiate over this.
Americans deserve better."
billiybob,
The debt ceiling, used by no other country, it is only a political tool/event. Party leaders allow some members to rail against it only after they know they have enough votes and the debt ceiling will be increased.
It you want true debt control then make Congress include an increase in our debt limit with each spending bill they consider. Before, not after they spend !!
Didn't the 111/112 Congress waste time reading the entire Constitution on the House floor.
Although the didn't understand what they were reading.....comprehension deficit!
Feisty --- Since I don't drink , you can have mine. Happy New Year and have a great weekend. Things are slowly looking up for us "little people".
OM,
Can I tempt you with a Root Beer? ☺
Same to you!
They sure are and things can only get better!
old man, the DDI also has Sparking Grape Juice just for our nondrinking friends. Red or white? Both are quite tasty.
Happy New Year!
Okay :) Try a virgin bloody mary, the celery soaked in tomato juice is to die for.
tonybeerm . . .
V8 Spicy .... or Clamato juice . . .
Just sayin' :)
We want answers.
Feisty, Cheers!
Salud Pat!
Given Gotcha's past performances, we shouldn't be holding our breathes...
He'll be too busy asking McTurtle to autograph his "I ♥ Republicans" T-shirt!
Pat,
Gatcha should ask the Turtle where the GOP/TP leadership (?) will be meeting on Jan 21 to outline their strategy to continue their subversive tendencies against President Obama and therefore the entire country.
Hey Prog!
Talk about timing, my daughter is home for the holidays and just yesterday got me hooked on the "American Horror Story - Asylum" marathon!
I can TOTALLY see Darth Rove and his merry band of mental midgets being admitted there! LMAO
Keep em coming, I always look forward to your next chapter...
In the meantime, can we get you a drink?
"... find out where "Darth Rove" is now."
Actually, I've kind of been watching my milk cartons to see if that 'your trees are just the right height' guy disappeared to. Anyone know where that screwball is these days?
Ok, not IF he disappeared to....WHERE he disappeared to.
Criminy, did I drink all that wobble-water already??
Sheesh....
drive-by-observer - we don't really care as long as he STAYS away!
Voted you up, Dennis, at #1.5.
Layton, If you remeber that one, you and I are BOTH old enough that we should be quaffing root beers with 'old man'.
Hey, "red"- 's great to be out of the house for a while. But now that I'm on the loose, everybody hide!
drive by ...
Maybe, maybe not to the quaffation .... Let's just say my mama was a big ol' Loretta fan! (Thank God she didn't emulate her fashion!)
Happy Weekend!
Back at you, Layton. And your mama evidently knew a good thing when she saw (and heard) one.
Happy weekend to ALL you wonderful Friday afternoon posters, too!
Sure have missed y'all.
+
G-dog, who in their right mind could argue with you on THAT one???
(well, except for Boehner, or some other tea-bagee, of course)
Happy New Year! good luck!
convenientliesyoubelieve - no dear - only you believe your lies. Illinois is gaining jobs and will gain more. A number of companies are relocating to the state and we will continue with that growth.

Neoconservatism is a branch of American conservatism that includes endorsement of political individualism, free markets and the assertive promotion of democracy and United States national interest in international affairs including by military means.
The Tea Party movement is an American political movement that advocates strict adherence to the United States Constitution, reducing U.S. government spending and taxes, and reduction of the U.S. national debt and federal budget deficit.
Marcus
Four more years boy,,
And with the same results - unfortunately for all
You continue to hide behind something you're not HGV - but that's a true liberal - and you wear it well
All you, right wing bobble heads. Fox is lying to you
The fines are among the largest ever levied on a presidential campaign by the FEC and stem from a series of missing filings for nearly 1,200 contributions totaling nearly $1.9 million.
YOUR legacy? The Stupidity continues!
Funny how faint those war cries have become. Yes we're going into year 5 of Obama - 5th year
The corruption brought through his administration - will be documented in history as one of the most corrupt groups of all time.
Hillary, as an example - is in a very bad spot right now - and has a big decision to make when she goes under oath.
The fines levied are the largest ever for a presidential campaign - further proof
Liberal Democrats always wind up going rogue in the White House it seems - Barack Obama - no exception
"Yes we're going into year 5 of Obama - 5th year"
And amazingly enough, we're still not even a bit closer to Armageddon, socialism, Greece, $5.00 a gallon gas, 20% unemployment, FEMA re-education camps, or having to salute the Kenyan flag than we were at the start of Year One.
You betcha!
And after all that - we're still a broken country - corrupted by the most devisive president ever - no contest
Welcome to 2013 JoAnne - Year 5 of Obama and still no progress or help on the economy - and why?
GM reports last week show they are in trouble again - you don't say?
The above statement - is one of the most concerning I've ever seen posted - you have a very short measuring stick JoAnne

POS obama the most corrupt ALL TIME. The stink coming from this slug is enough to make a barrel of maggots make a run for it.
