Gallup has released its list of "Most Admired Woman and Most Admired Man" living anywhere in the world, and for the 11th year in a row, Hillary Clinton tops the list of women, while Barack Obama is the most admired man for the fifth year in a row.

First Lady Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Condoleezza Rice are next behind Clinton.
Behind Obama are Nelson Mandela, Mitt Romney, Billy Graham, George W. Bush and Pope Benedict XVI.
The "Most Admired Man" poll began in 1946 and was expanded to include "Most Admired Woman" in 1948.
Clinton has topped the list 17 times in the last 20 years, starting in 1993. Eleanor Roosevelt comes in second as the most "Most Admired Woman," a designation she gained 13 times.
Dwight Eisenhower was the "Most Admired Man" 12 times, the most for any man, followed by Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton, who each had eight first-place finishes.
The results are based on a Gallup poll taken from Dec 19 to 22nd.

You don't think that if the GOP could make a case for any kind of election fraud that they would pass on it? Not on your life. The only fraud was that committed by Republican governors who did everything in their power to make it more difficult, more time consuming and simply less appealing to vote. Obama came from very humble beginnings. Put himself through college, law school, became a law school professor, a US Senator and elected President of the most powerful and admired country on earth not once, but twice.

For me to admire Hillary Clinton, she would have to enter a time machine and divorce Bill after "that Monica thing" instead of showing that you should stand by your man if he's powerful enough... Actually, TJefferson, I'd have to disagree that most Americans know these things. Most Americans have no clue that the stock market has done better under democratic presidents. Most Americans don't know that the deficit as a percentage of GDP has increased only under Republican presidents (with the exception of Obama and that only because of extenuating circumstances) and has decreased under Democratic presidents. Most Americans are hard working, decent people who would rise up in an instant to help those in need. Unfortunately, we are also naive enough to fall for the rhetoric of race baiters who take advantage of our naiveté to advance their agendas. Kadenza is no doubt a decent person, but misinformed and will remain that way unless she learns to do research for herself and get the real facts, instead of being brainwashed by vested interests. The fact that she uses the word "socialists" to describe people in a country that is unabashedly capitalistic shows she has now clue of what socialism is, but rather uses it as a deranged cry based on limited understanding. It's important to start a dialogue that will tear down these misunderstandings. We need all Americans to be on the same page and that means working on getting the truth out there somehow, in spite of all those who will do whatever it takes to oppose the truth coming out.
I'm amazed too about the stock market stats. The stock market does much better, and has less volatility, when a Democrat is in the White House. Not every single time but the long term trend has been remarkably consistent. Even if you disregard the crash that happened under Hoover (Republican) and the rebound that happened under Roosevelt and Truman (Democrats) the tend still holds that the market does better under Democrats.
Just this year my conservative colleague said "better sell all our stocks now that Obama won reelection". I asked him which party does the market perform better under. He instinctively said Republican. When I asked if he ever bothered to look at what the data actually said he said no he hadn't. I told him to look up the data tonight after work and we could discuss it more in the morning. Next morning came and he didn't want to talk about it.
Once again Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is the most admired woman and President Barack Obama is the most admired man. I've been reading pure hate filled posts today by the sorry assed, poorly educated, far right wing, extremist, fanatics hoping she'll die. Those pathetic bastards still can't figure our why their party has won the popular vote only once in a presidential election since 1988! Since 1988!!! The truth is they are a rapidly dying breed of old Crackers that no one wants to be around any longer, and if their party continues to listen to them, it is headed for the trash heap of American political parties!

Yes I do admire President Obama - so brave to put up with those awful Republicans who are only for the rich and themselves I also admire Hillary Clinton, she has worked so hard and I hope for her full recovery. I think she would make an excellent president - (I pray) in 2016. I am not sure how those other people got on the list. The republicans caused all of this fiscal cliff problem with putting two wars on a credit card, I still don't get why we went to war with Iraq.
