Pelosi on Hillary Clinton for president in 2016: 'I hope she goes'

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., shares her thoughts the mass shooting in Newtown and the fiscal cliff negotiations on Capitol Hill.

Hillary Clinton’s possible 2016 bid for the presidency won one high-profile supporter Tuesday in House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

Pelosi said during an interview with NBC’s Andrea Mitchell that she hoped Clinton – who will retire soon from her job as secretary of state – would make another bid for the presidency in four years.

“Wouldn’t that be exiting?” Pelosi said. “I hope she goes – why wouldn’t she?”

“She could be president of the United States, and she would be great,” added Pelosi, who was speaker of the House and stayed neutral during the 2008 primary between Clinton and Barack Obama. “And if she decided to run, I think she would win. She would go into the White House as well prepared, or better prepared, than almost anybody who has served in that office in a very long time.”

Pelosi is a loud-mouthed b*tch who is elected by idiot liberals in California who don't have a clue who or what they are voting for. I wonder how many face lifts have been paid for with their tax dollars. And, she can have Hillary........one is a loud mouth and the other is a fat a**.

Dear Lilly, I am willing to bet you are not all that lilly white. You, and many others--so you are not alone, post anonymous comments here degrading others while on Sunday morning you hit the pews yelling 'AMEN'. Well, based on the evidence here, you certainly are no where near being a follower of Christ. But, there is consolation: you do keep the Devil a happy spirit.

Ido, near the top of these comments. You sir, are the top of the line when it comes to spreading lies, scams, and assorted other falsehoods. And, I am willing to bet all that I have that you are right there every Sunday morning, and possibly weds. nights, proclaiming what a wonderful Christian you are. Well, based on the evidence, not much of one:

Republicans John McCain (R-Ariz.), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Scott Brown (R-Mass.) and Ed Rollins defended Abedin against these allegations.[12][13] John McCain stated, "These allegations about Huma and the report from which they are drawn are nothing less than an unwarranted and unfounded attack on an honorable woman, a dedicated American and a loyal public servant... The letter and the report offer not one instance of an action, a decision or a public position that Huma has taken while at the State Department that would lend credence to the charge that she is promoting anti-American activities within our government... These attacks on Huma have no logic, no basis and no merit. And they need to stop now."[14]

Please! all you nay sayers and fault finders.....you are all full of s---! Hillary Clinton would definately be a great addition to the list of former great presidents we have had. Her husband and John F. Kennedy.....and another idiotic comment...her weight whether it be 10 pounds or 50 has absolutely nothing to do with her intelligence or leadership. Her qualifications out shine any and all of the Republicans that may throw their hat in the ring. Just look at Mitt Romney if you want an example! Open mouth insert both feet over and over and over......

"Former great presidents Clinton and Kennedy"? Both womanizers........Clinton was impeached but not forced to leave office.....Kennedy and his brother were both screwing Marilyn Monroe. Yes, they are great men.....are they not?

That's funny - she made sure she did not get the nomination in 2008 paving the way for Obama to win. Turned out okay though in the long run, but I find it ironic that she now wants her for 2016.

            Reply#60 - Tue Dec 18, 2012 5:22 PM EST

I think it's funny how ALL of the people posting comments today a bout Hillary running today does not have a chance. Most of these posts are from the same people that said Obama would not win. The majority of Americans didn't vote for rob me and lying ryan because they never explained what they stood for. "Vote for me me and we will give you the details later". The republican party is just about done. Wait and see in 2014 when a major house cleaning happens. We do need third and maybe a fourth party to vote for. I think the two party system is obsolete and the world is changing. That is the major problem with the Grand Old Party (GOP). Their idea's are just that....Old and out dated. some call it the good ole boy syndrome. They will not be missed!

Democrats are setting up HC's 2016 run, and playing it like an orchestra -

Sudden "health issues" will prevent her from testifying on Benghazi, therefore allowing her to escape an internaltional catastrophe that occured under her watch. Someone else will take the fall for her, as she fades away from her role as SOS.....dust will settle, and she will emerge as the democratic presidential frontrunner in 2016.

It's all part of the master plan....if HC does not testify, she can't be accused of being a liar.

Unfortunately, Hillary stands a good a chance at being the first woman president- and that's because most of America's voters are complete idiots, as shown by re-electing a total fraud who claims to know more than he really does and didn't have a record to run on. Progressive policies are leading us to our next debt downgrade, we keep spending more than we're collecting and some seem to think that taxing the daylights out of 2% of Americans will cure all of our problems. We refuse to curtail spending. If the republicans put someone up who doesn't come with a stigma attached or isn't so polarizing that republicans won't vote for them, then we should be at a point where people are fed up with reckless spending and growning government and the pendulum will swing in the opposite direction. Hillary would be running against a psychotic dunce (Biden), which should provide for some amuzement anyway.

While Hillary has the best experience and knowledge even more than Obama she has her age to contend with. She rubbed people the wrong way when Bill was in office and not everyone will forget that. As for Pestolosie my Union brothers have nothing to say about here unless it has four letters. She has done nothing for the party except create a FUBAR. She needs to get out of politects but as a power hungry B.... She won't. But then again she comes from a state that is farther in debt than the U.S.

Elmer it is the same situation with the liberals and Obama. The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, 'merely a fool'. It is far less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their President.

I had just a little respect in Hillary until her completely dropping the ball in Benghazi. I know it wasn't much just a United States ambassador, a United States Nave retired seal and two other brave Americans murdered while she sat on her ass and did absolutely nothing. Oh wait a minute her boss did the same thing also. why do liberals act as if stupidity is a virtue? By the way what date has Miss Hillary rescheduled her appointment to testify before Congress after bumping her little head?
