I have seen many on this site and have commented on them before. Of course the word "murder" was never used but I think "needs a bullet", "Should be shot", "should be hung" were pretty clear on the intent. To say you have never seen any of that on this site, I don't think you are being truthful.

A deal means that both sides give on something and both sides already knew coming in what they had to give.
The president will compromise on the rate or the ceiling (250-500K) the Speaker will compromise on revenue, and both will kick the can down the road on everything else, setting up the next Debt Ceiling-geddon...
These negotiations are as predictable as 95% of the responses here, but please continue to be sucked in to the "Christmas Pageant"...;-)

It is time for all to pay their fair share of taxes - everyone, not just the fat-cats the libs refer to. No deductions for anyone, corporate or private; no lower taxes for investment; no longer will the lower income levels not be beholding to the tax man - everyone needs skin in the game; place the Prez. and the politicians on the same med and retirement programs as everyone else.
Remove the military from the world; do not spend money to foreign governments, but spend money in the US; tax the funding politicians receive for campaign contributions; cut out wasteful gov spending.
Now that should help improve the taxman and political wealth.

Boehner’s fiscal cliff deal is full of pseudo-compromises. Besides his new willingness to allow tax cuts to expire for millionaires, the Speaker’s deal also promises not to bring the nation to the brink of default again for at least one year — in exchange for devastating spending cuts.
This whole cliff negotiations kind of reminds me of Howie Mandel and "deal or no deal". Which case shall we select next?
