"Booming," "sky-high," and "formidable" are just a sampling of the adjectives often used to describe Hillary Clinton's popularity, as DC pundits speculate about her perceived ambitions for 2016.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton attend a dinner for Kennedy honorees on Dec. 1, 2012 in Washington, D.C.
It's correct that Clinton (bested only by her husband Bill) enjoys the second highest approval rating of the public figures we asked about in our most recent NBC/WSJ poll. With a 58% positive / 28% negative split overall (and 100 percent name recognition), she has the kind of numbers that most political figures experience only in daydreams.
And it's also worth noting that neither she nor her husband are strangers to the political doldrums. In April 2008, as her prospects for a primary comeback waned, she had a net negative overall approval rating. When Bill Clinton left the presidency, after his controversial pardon of Marc Rich, just 34 percent of Americans viewed him positively.
But as both have seen their numbers rebound to their current highs, are the Clintons' stores of political goodwill -- built up by a couple that has largely stayed above the political fray since the end of the 2008 election -- resilient enough to bolster another run for the presidency by Hillary?
Here's a look at where both Clintons stand right now with some of the groups that make up a campaign-building coalition.
(As with all deep dives into cross-tabs, insert caveat here that the margin of error for these subgroups is by definition higher than the poll's overall MOE of +/- 3.10%.)
Hillary Clinton enjoys a 70 percent approval rating among women. Almost seven-in-ten Hispanic respondents and and 87 percent of African-Americans also said they view her positively.
While she is hardly beloved by the party she once derided for its penchant for "right wing conspiracy," her marks with Republicans are better than the current president's. A quarter of Republicans in the NBC/WSJ survey gave her positive ratings, while 52 percent of independents said the same. (Compare that to 10 percent of GOP respondents and 45 percent of indies for Obama.)
Other than being slightly underwater among white men, she has net positive ratings among almost every key constituency, with notable strength among suburban women (+44 points), blue collar workers (+24 points) and retirees (+18 points).
And then there's Bill.
The former president, who once stood at the brink of impeachment, has nearly regained the popularity he enjoyed at his first inauguration in 1993. Just a quarter of the poll's respondents said they view Bill Clinton negatively. His numbers with Republicans and independents are comparable to his wife's, but his overall popularity is buoyed by strength among white men, who view him positively by a margin of more than 30 points.
Both Clintons are also unsurprisingly strong with the Democratic base -- a data point that's notable only in light of the blistering attacks both launched on Barack Obama during the 2007-2008 primary battle. Disapproval for either barely registers among respondents who classified themselves as liberals or core Democrats.
None of this is to say that the daily volleys of a possible campaign wouldn't create some cracks in the Clintonian armor; Hillary Clinton's approval rating dropped by 10 points in the two bruising months after the Iowa caucuses in 2008, for example.
What goes up, both pols know, can come down.
But for now, speculators, "formidable" is fine.

I just read that Hillary doesn't want to run in 2016, so this article is moot. It should be noted, however, that Republicans won't get elected to dogcatchers, after this fiscal cliff fiasco.
Moot means OPEN to discussion, not closed.
Besides, Hillary hasn't flatly denied anything.
If Mrs. Clinton even thinks about running in 2016, she will be carrying TOO MUCH BAGGAGE (Whitewater, throwing Bollywood supporter under the bus, and the BIG ONE....Benghazi when she was TOO TIRED to make a TV appearnce and let Rice do it for her).
Of course, the Liberal media will not report that Mr. Clinton was waiting on Hillary to land in Haiti so he could take the Hurricane Relief Funds from her for distribution. Yep, look how much progress has been made in that area with those funds.....NADA....NIL....ZILCH.....and people are still living in TENTS. Where, oh where, did the funding really go ?
I think the Clintons have class - unlike Bubba Bush. I would vote for her, but I don't feel younger generations would - maybe women. She'd have to put her daughter into the limelight with her to appeal to younger voters.
Run Hillary Run...
I was going for the second definition of moot: of little or no practical value or meaning; purely academic.
Amy, I think Hillary will run. She may not be saying so now but I truly believe she will. I hope she does. She will be a formidable opponent for ANY Republican! And, I think she and Bill can do great things for the country!
So says the purchased journalism of MSNBC.
Faux News insinuates the legacy of Reagan is also indestructable.
Pardon me for saying you both have your heads up your @ss3s.
You are welcome!
After how despicable Obama treated Hillary during the 2008 primary, I am surprised she took the office of Secretary of State. After Benghazi, I am surprised she would consider running for President. But nothing the Clinton's do should be surprising. They have no morals or ethics.
You can't deny the economy was in much better shape during Clinton's administration. The only real issue I take with Hillary is her stance on guns. Banning assault weapons only keeps them out of the hands of law abiding citizens, most of whom shoot them for the enjoyment of the experience. Guess what, meth and cocaine are illegal too, people still get plenty of both (not to say that I think those drugs should be legal by any means).
Republicans are scared to death of Hillary.
Hillary vs. Christie = Win for the Democrats.
omg... lmao. Ido, please... you're killing me here. :D As for the Benghazi "scandal"... how'd that work out for you last month? ;)
Hillary Clinton will see you in 2016 for another Dem big Win !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bbbbbwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaha as usual you lap dogs believe everything you read here -- I wouldn't believe an MSNBC poll. Not mentioning the 61% of REAL Americans that say increasing taxes is not enough that the SPENDING needs to be reduced by a lot! Can't handle the truth can you? Hillary isn't going to run as she has to answer for Benghazi! The clintons like O seem to be coated in teflon, but history will reveal the truth about these vile people.
Spending definitely needs to be lowered by a lot. How about we start with the 1 trillion dollars being spent by the military each year? We got along just fine on $300 billion a year before 9/11, we should be able to reduce it down to $400 billion a year easily (over a period of time of course, not suggestion we just axe that much out of their budget all at once).
There's no doubt in my mind that Hillary could definately win it in 2016.
She should probably change a couple of things from last time, like (1) DON'T push Bill Clinton into the background, make it clear that he IS Hillary's partner and will take part to some degree as her personal adviser; and (2) don't attack half of the Democratic base, like she did last time, just because we supported President Obama.
I don't think that Hillary will have any primary battle this time with any other Democrat, although I have heard Joe Biden say more than once that he would run for the top spot after President Obama leaves office.
Personally, I wouldn't miss out on voting for Hillary this time, if she runs.
I seem to remember MSNBC polling being FAR more accurate than any RWNJ polls you were clinging to, Dottie. Do you think that supporting more tax cuts for the wealthy while cutting medicare for sick old people is acceptable? Do you know that spending has already been reduced under this president? Since you're talking about "handling the truth" I'd love to know... ;) Nobody in the GOTea, past or present has the approval ratings of either Bill or Hillary... or Michelle Obama, for that matter. Don't be bitter... for a change. :)
This is one big problem with America today. You elevate scum bags like Bill Clinton. A lousy husband and father, womanizer, accused rapist, and just generally a POS. Hillary lies for him and nobody cares. Hillary is known to be a very nasty person to people around her that feels should be waiting on her hand and foot. The Clintons are like drive by shooters, they get people fighting against each other and then disappear. I still think today that Hillary was behind Philip Berg's filing of the court case about Obama's birth certificate. Then they twist it around to make the other side look like "birthers". Philip Berg is a democrat and strong supporter of Hillary. We also heard about Sadam's WMD's for the full 8 years that Bill and Hillary lived in the White House. Hillary voted for the Iraq war. Where the hell was she when all the far left loons in the democrat party started calling George Bush a liar? Hillary joine Patty Murray in the effort to get rid of Bob Packwood, and old fart who called women "sweety" and would pat them on the behind. But he was a republican and so he was targeted by those two witches for sexual harrassment. Then where were they when scum bag Bill did his deed? SILENT!
This country would be far better off if the Clinton's just went away.
TO: Amy B. Portland, ME who wrote:
She said the same thing last time, and darn near ripped the entire Democratic Party AND its Base into shreds when Barack Obama got the nomination instead of her.
Hillary has my vote even if she doesn't run.
She seems to have acquired the emotional stability and experience that would make her a viable candidate this next time around.
Amy B. Portland, ME
they all say that before it's time to announce so no worries; she WILL be 45!
American Girl-724855
everything happens for a reason; she may have lost in 2008 but she will kick azz hands down in 2016.
I just feel sorry for whoever will be running against her!
Oh, so now we're recycling ex First Ladies for the Presidency of the United States???
Who's running against her - Betty Ford??
Oh yeah. The first husband/sexual predator. Well, Hillary says he had therapy so maybe he won't be chasing the interns quite as much.
Ped in SF . . . (which by the way is a GREAT city to walk around in!)
You think the RWNJs would remember that little piece of advice! Maybe they should call Mitt and chit chat with him about what he thinks of the GOP's polls?
I was not for Hillary in 2008, but I have a lot of respect for the way she conceded with grace and dignity, and joined in on Obama's team for the good of the country. She did an excellent job as Secretary of State. One thing you can certainly say about Hillary is she is a hard worker.
pullmyfinger13
I know, huh? I know the Republicans would never have a candidate who is into extramarital activities because the are all about family values...oh, wait, my bad, I forgot about Newt Gingrich.
hey pullmyfinger, I would rather have a president who gets a BJ on the side and lies about it than a president who lies about WMD and starts a war that has claimed thousands of American lives....
BTW, what is the Republican obsession with other peiople's sex lives anyway? That all they try to control. Can you fill us in? You must know considering you sound extra pee'd off about Clinton's sex life?
Most of you are missing a key implication of the article: Things can change quickly and dramatically in American politics. My guess is Obama is going to screw it up so bad, that George W will become back in fashion again. We will long for the good old days of 5% unemployment and "only" 200 billion in deficits. It is relatively rare for one party to win the White House 3 times in a row. Roosevelt did and George Bush 1 did after two Reagan terms.
There are some pretty strong 40 and 50 somethings in the GOP: Rubio, Haley, Jindahl, Ryan, Jeb Bush, among others. Enjoy your 22 months before we take back the Senate. My guess is the party is getting tired of losing and will probably field better candidates.
Jersey girl hit it right on the head: Clinton and Biden self serving POS's. If they had any class they would have told 'bam to shove those jobs, but they were both too interested in serving their own self-interests. She, like her husband, is despicable.
"You elevate scum bags like Bill Clinton. A lousy husband and father, womanizer, accused rapist, and just generally a POS"
Remember --- Republicans beat all these horses to death for 8 years and the only thing they accomplished was to make Bill one of the most popular (and successful) presidents of the last 100 years.
Apparently the fake Democrats are posting again. It was only in October that the fake Republicans were posting.
Clinton, one of the most successful presidents in the past 100 years. HAHAHAHAHA. Very funny. He wasn't even one of the most successful Democrats in the past 100 years.
Oh wait, got it. You are a Tea Party member trolling. Nice one!
When was the last time Bill and Hillary lived together? These fake lovey dovey pictures make me sick. They are all money and politics.
They also accomplished what Former Republican senator Alan Simpson (1979-1997), a conservative from Wyoming said about Limbaugh, I believe this fits the WHOLE republican party pretty damn well...
Most of these republican congress-people work on the same priciple as Limbaugh, and in the end, this is what they end up with:
"He gets people all riled up all day long, gets them filled up with gas, ulcers, heartburn, B.O., and fear."
In 2008, I was concerned that Hillary was too polarizing. Now with the Teapublican Crazies going off into their far-Right alternative universe, this is what's a moot point. I say bring it on -- Run Hillary!
As for the rest of your conspiracy drivel, no need to repeat it and cause brain damage. You should be concerned about another clown show in the next GOP primary -- Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Rick Santorum, oh my.
Funny thing is that Hillary was right about the vast right-wing conspiracy. The GOP will do whatever it takes to hold on to power and obstruct the Democrats. Well, whatever it takes short of changing its policies to reflect the changing nature of our electorate, that is.
I hope Hillary does run in 2016. I will be proud to support her and will work as hard for her as I did for President Obama.
No wonder the Progressives are in such bad shape. Wait a minute, they have SEIU and the New Black Panthers to back them up.
ldo: When the GOP tries to destroy the unions, the GOP will destroy itself.
I think in this past election, the Liberals have shown they are willing to do and say anything to get elected, including calling the opposite side a murderer and a tax evader.
With the recent GOP loss, and reduction of white voters, it's the GOP in bad shape.
They have no one to run against Hillary that can win.
Funny, everyone seems to always thing right to work = death to unions. Iowa is a Right to Work state, our unions are doing just fine. They actually have to offer something of value to attract members. Isn't that how things are supposed to work?
Yes, Republicans forget that many union members like their union and will continue to be a apart of it. In many respects "right to work" legislation has made unions stronger.
HA -- over 20 yrs ago I lived in a very democratically controlled city in NY and knew the heads of the local Teamsters and Meat Cutter Unions, they lived lavishly, "conferenced" in Hawaii, had fund managers pay for their "dinner" meetings (that usually ran up to $5k and were held at a restaurant owned by one Teamster prez. The head of the Meat Cutter Union and his son were eventually JAILED for the abuses (including using union money to update their houses and lawns), the Teamster prez was dogged for yrs by the feds and the broker he controlled that bought winners and put them in his account and losers in the union pension account was JAILED. The only reason the prez wasn't jailed is because he died before they could indite him. So don't tell me how great the unions are suckers.
Hey Pigotry, when the GOP tries to destroy the Unions, the GOP is destroying what our fore fathers wanted for the American people !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, but if you have right to work laws, you don't have to join the union, and the union has to start working to provide services for it's members instead of just raking in the cash because people are required to join....

Hold on, we won the White House, 2 Senate Seats, and 6 House Seats, we have Demographics in every major category on our side, and that's what Republicans call being in "bad shape".
I'll tell you what's "in bad shape", The Republican Party.
Republicans have become so backwards they can barely win tiny local elections, and when it comes to the overall population, the Republican Party is so far behind in the times there's literally no hope for them winning any national election.
JG-I think in this past election, the Liberals have shown they are willing to do and say anything to get elected, including calling the opposite side a murderer and a tax evader.
Wow,talk about the pot calling the kettle black. You rightie's showed in this election (and after),that there are no depths that they will not sink too, trying to steal and buy an election. Voter suppression, and attempted voter suppression in Pa,Oh,Az,Wi,Va,and worst of all Fl,has disgraced the Republican Party, for a generation at least. Mega-rich Republican donors trying to coercive their workers to vote for Romney and their obscene funding of lies in the media,is near criminal (I would argue it was). As for calling Romney a "murderer and tax evader". The fact that he and his company fired workers that loss their health insurance, and some then died because they then couldn't get treatment. While maybe not murder under the law.If you are a Christian,a good case could be made to call that murder in God's eyes. And,as for tax evader. If Romney isn't a tax evader, then there is no such thing. The only thing preventing overwhelming exposure of his tax evasion, was him not releasing his tax returns. Many of you Republicans want to fool themselves,I know. But in your hearts, even you guys know if he wasn't hiding his tax evasion he would have released them. You may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night was it,lol.
right/left soon enough it won't matter. With both parties chipping away at our rights and our government over it's head in debt something has to give.
I think Hillary would have a big suprise for alot of liberals if she got elected.I can envision her beling alot tougher on foreign policy than Obama and not going around the world on an apology tour.Hillary is not as far left as Obama and that is why they did'nt see eye to eye in the 1st place. She might run for president in 2016 but if Obama does'nt live up to expectations she has no intention of falling on his sword for him.Hillary looks pretty tired too.The way politics had been going, nobody wants to stick their heads in a beehive.
Good Lord wolfhound ....
Try and back that BS up without citing a Fox News article. Please ... try. It's been debunked over and over but as usual, the RWNJs can't accept a fact.
"I think in this past election, the Liberals have shown they are willing to do and say anything to get elected,"
Liberals will say anything to get elected?? Have you forgotten who the Republican candidate was --- the flip flopper of all times!!! Mitt Romney changed his positions about 5 times a day. It is strange that just about every time a conservative attempts to describe liberals, they end up describing themselves.
She is saying no now, but I bet that changes. I hope she does run in 2016 and I will support her as much as I supported President Obama in 2008 and 2012!
Moderator.....might want to check for one person using double names for posting.
Hillary has the experience, no GOP candidate can match her.
Hey Eric, what about Bachmann or Palin ?????????????????????
Hey Eric, sorry about that, it was just a joke !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If a point is moot, it is NOT open to discussion.
As to "Clinton", I still have no repect for the woman. I cannot see that she has done anything notable as Secretary of State, either. Unless you count getting out of the Obama admin. before everything collapses. The only thing keeping Bill from carousing these days is his dimished state of health. She was willing to let him do that to her again, and again, and again, just so she could hold on to some degree of power. She won't be elected president.
I realize NBC says that the Republicans are getting the blame for no "compromise", but not all of us believe what NBC (or any other media promoters that like to call themselves news organizations) put in print. Some of us see no compromise on either side. And the blame will be placed equally. I suspect (emphasize "suspect" because I'm not in the beltway there), that both sides have every intention of "falling off the cliff". Then both sides get their way. Taxes go up (on everyone) for the democrats, and spending is drastically cut for the Republicans.
Ending war between Hamas and Israel, assisting in the transition of much of N. Africa to democracies, NO, your right, she hasn't done much.
The GOP wants to destroy this administration over the attack in a foreign country that resulted in 4 deaths. Amazing that they didn't have the same opinion against President Bush when 3000 people died IN OUR COUNTRY.
The Republican false outrage never ceases to amaze. Well maybe it shouldn't. It's kind of like little children who complain when someone else gets what they want.
As of right now, if Hillary Clinton decided to run for President in 2016, she would likely win. There have been no other Democratic candidates mentioned and the GOP has NOTHING.
The thing is, the white house has asked Republicans to bring forward a plan for cuts to entitlements, and Republicans (so far) have refused to do so. Which is a pretty dumb move on their part if you ask me. They need to start playing ball and outline what cuts they want made to entitlements so that both sides can start hashing out the compromises.
As for GOP candidates: I'd like to see Jon Huntsman run again, as he was really the only candidate that made any sort of sense to me during the last election cycle. He may not be "exciting" or whatever, but I feel like he's the only one from the last group that actually had the qualifications to be president. Oh, AND he doesn't like the Tea Party, so that's like a +5 in my book.
Lying again brokinarrow.
Exactly what am I lying about Dottie?
Everything Dude !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh ok, thanks for clearing that up :)
dirp
thought it was morsi that did the negotiations between israel and hamas
We are doomed. The electorate are retards. Amy's comment from above, and these poll numbers on Hillary prove it.
You are correct but the only good thing about Hilary is she is about a 100 miles right of the current President. It could be worse.
How do you figure that? Obama hasn't done anything to limit gun rights, Hillary has said she supports a UN call for assault weapons bans in our country...
I didn't say she was a conservative.
No, you claimed she was vastly less liberal than Obama, which I have a hard time believing.
I like how Bill and Hillary made over $30,000,000 last year. They are true 1%er's who earned their way through public office. Congrats to them. The funny thing is that liberals never call them out for all there excessive income.
It is not the earning income that is the issue. It is whether it is earned on the backs of putting people out of work and if it is used solely to produce more income on the backs of more unemployed Americans.
There is also a difference in whether you refer to others as "you people."
dirp, having been president is both the ultimate cache and the ultimate entre to any world they want. Their income is hardly noble.
They got to where they were on the backs of hundreds of millions of voters. No one would know who they were if he had remained a lawyer who was governor of Arkansas and she a wife of the governor, who also happened to be a lawyer. They just would have gotten into the trouble they deserved for their land scandals and such.
They are the epitome of the political equivalents of corporate raiders.
Steve-1167608: you see, that IS the difference. The best the GOP could come up with for the last election WAS a corporate raider. He made his money on the practice of taking good US companies, moving production facilities to China (and other countries), then increasing their debt through a leveraged buyout of his shares, producing nothing new or innovative and in the process, destroying jobs and the US economy.
Since leaving office, President Bill Clinton has earned millions in speaking fees. That's hardly the same thing.
The Clintons should be referred to as the "Perons" and Hillery needs to be called "Evita".They are just like the Perons of Argentina. You hire them, they stay around afterwards. You fire them, they stay around afterwards. The Clintons would go to the opening of an envelope to get their mugs on TV and to make a speech. Will the ever just go away.I think Evita has enough tomestone information to make her stay on earth look better than good. Now,if they would jst use the tomestones!
I think the Clintons should be commended on showing how you can be a 1%'er through a career in politics. They made $30,000,000 last year. How come the left never decries other lefties who are 1%'ers?
Steve I wouldn't call the person who signed financial deregulation and NAFTA a "lefty". Bill Clinton is a center -right corporate democrat not a "lefty".
...because they didn't inherit it from their parents, but earned it from things like being paid to speak, and book deals? If you go back to 2008, that's the same argument we made when Republicans used the Obamas' wealth from the book deals to portray him as rich and elitist.
I will, however, say that John Kerry was a terrible candidate in 2004. I don't like the Kennedy family legacy of aristocracy, either. Also, Jesse Jackson, Jr. definitely. You really have to question whether a lot of these people would have even been nominated on their merits. In a non-battleground state, if one of those were running for office it'd probably drive me to vote third party.
The Democrats right now don't have a track record of saying anything extraordinarily stupid lately, like their equivalent of the Akin comment. I think the closest we've gotten to a self-induced negative news cycle is the small handful of Democratic senators who proposed extending unemployment. But we had plenty of those before in the early 2000s. If Democrats did make such a blunder, I'll admit, I probably wouldn't have the energy to come here to decry it. I'd probably just shake my head, sigh, and divest myself of interest in politics.
Also, I'm sorry that other liberals here have used divisive language and name-calling to a higher extent than conservatives here. I remember in 2001-2006 or so, when it was in the opposite direction on most news forums I'd looked at (liberals were called traitors to America for not supporting the Iraq War)... it just does not help anything anytime anywhere.
We lefties don't have a problem with wealth or wealthy people. We only want them to pay the same PERCENTAGE of their income the rest of us do.
Why are you so dense?
Steve, few liberals and democrats are against wealth; but many, hopefully most, are against the degree of unfairness in the current situation. The extremely wealthy write the rules to an extent that the rest of us cannot, through their money and influence. When we speak negatively about the one-percenters, we are referring to the ones who fight against restoring their taxes to earlier rates, when they bore a fairer burden than they do now. Liberals and democrats know full well that there are plenty of one-percenters who are willing to work to restore a fairer system--the Clintons included (and the Gores and the Gates' and William Buffett and, no doubt, many thousands more). Steve, you seem to want to believe liberals and democrats do or should hate anyone who is wealthy. Sorry to disappoint you, bud. Do conservatives and republicans all hate the poor? That sort of stupid, blanket statement is no more of a stretch than what you're suggesting.
Before she would run,she needs some serious reconstructive surgery to everything above her shoulders. In order to make her look younger than 90,they would have to use Joan Rivers plastic surgen and then Evita would be talking through her right ear.I think she would have to lose 80-90 pounds or get a cowboy to ride in on her at every news conference.Bill could also help in getting the geritol crowd to vote for her.Why don't they go back to Arkansas and run for governor or some other beniegn office that no one else cares about!Too bad,Evita could have been our first she/he president!
You think tub o' lard Chris Christie is better looking?
Wow, that's a lot of a**-kissing to pack into such a short article.
Guessing Carrie Dann is angling for some exclusive interviews in the future. Best to slather on the chapstick until then, and keep wiping the brown stains off the end of your nose.
This should get Boner's panties in a knot.
OMG. Words can not describe. I just have one word regarding Hillary: PUKE
So what? Both Twilight and Jersey Shore are popular too.
I think to see who was actually polled and what questions were actually asked would be interesting. As a woman executive, I find her recent behaviors strange and her honesty questionable.
The Teflon Don and his wife.
Rightwingers hate the Clintons but love people like Cheney,Bush,Rove,Rush and Norquist. Can't wait until 2016 and the next President Clinton is elected. It will be a landslide! The GOP will be soon extinct unless they moderate their views and lose all the Rightwing bigots.
Dang NBC. 3 3/4 years serving as the DNC campaign media headquarters for Obama, and already off an running campaigning for Hillsary. Not even inauguration day yet. Can't you folks give it a rest for a few days and try to report a little news?
Hellary has tooooooo much baggage...and some of it is showing up under the eyes......Bill would just love a chance to get back into the Oral Office........
You'd have bags under your eyes, too, if you had traveled over 1 MILLION miles in the past 4 years trying to patch up relationships with World leaders who really couldn't believe an idiot like GWB could get elected t the office of POTUS. What an embarrassment to our country having a guy that looked and acted like Alfred E. Newman from MAD magazine as Prez......
Bill Clinton signed NAFTA and GATT. That is what caused so many jobs to leave this country. People give him credit for a good economy that he had nothing to do with. Might as well give him credit for the sun coming up every day. The economy boomed because of the internet bubble and the Y2K preparation. The economy started going bad in 2000.
NAFTA was put in motion by Ronnie Raygun. He was a huge proponent of it. Bush Senior finalized the treaty and was the one that actually signed it. Congress approved it iin a bipartisan vote during Clinton's term and he signed the final bill.
Apparently, you have little regard for the facts.
If Clinton didn't sign it, it would not have become law. That is a fact. You libs twist everything
tnymdy
he also signed the free trade agreement with china which opened doors for off-shoring jobs for cheaper labor just didn't want that to be left out
Hey Rightwingers you can always tell Rush your troubles and compare the decent people you and Rush hate.
Maybe a Klan rally will make you feel better Rightwingers. Burning a cross might help release some tension.
Ant presidential candidate for the GOP will be destroyed in 2016,all the GOP candidates are losers. The few decent ones are way to Liberal for GOP racists.
Any presidential candidate that the GOP has will be destroyed in 2016 by Hillary, all the GOP candidates are losers. The few decent ones are way to Liberal for Rightwingers. Hey why don't you have Palin/Bachman? Crazy and crazier. You betcha!
Run Hillary, PLEASE!!! If that fat ass Crissie is to run, you would beat the panties off him! There can be NO Repukes in the W.H. for the foreseeable future, and beyond!!!!
Like so many things in life, this article will appear to be utter fantasy when the history books are written in 50 years.
You wish...hahahahahahahaha!!
You mean utter fantasy like the polls that showed Romney winning ? Or the fantasy that Raygun brought down the Soviet Union ? Or the fantasy that there were WMD's in Iraq ? Or the fantasy that you could wage 2 wars and cut taxes ? Or the fantasy that Ronnie Raygun didn't encourage terroism by running from Lebanon and providing arms(illegally) to the Taliban ?
