Yes, Democrats do like compromise, as long as it's not them being asked to. Anyone who opposes is radical.
Pres. Obama wants us to go over the fiscal cliff, then he can raise taxes on all of us, and blame it on the Republicans. Wait till all his new taxes kick in for his Obama care, Welcome to the Obama plantation.
Really Joe?....'plantation'? lol...wow, you Teabaggers are really sore losers. Get over it already.
And no, it wont be just Obama blaming the GOP if we go over the cliff, it will also be 65% of the American voters too. And yes, Obama will then ask that the existing bill reducing taxes for 98% of Americans be passed. If the GOP votes that down, then they are done as a party in 2014 and well beyond.
They know that, and they know taxes on the top 2% are going to go up one way or another. As soon as they accept it, they can then pivot to entitlements and other spending cuts.
Sorry, joe. You lost the election. Elections have consequences. Your party belongs at the table and should insist on further spending cuts. On that we agree. But you are flat out going to lose on the tax issue so give it up already and lets move forward.
