Decision 2012: GOPer: Romney didn’t use Solyndra enough

Oh, so NOW it’s because Mitt Romney didn’t focus on Solyndra enough. OK… Ousted Rep. Cliff Stearns, who had been the GOP’s “point man” on Solyndra: "The president somehow was able to sidestep [Solyndra], and Romney did not make it an issue. Just like Benghazi. Benghazi was a great issue for Romney, but he did not use it as well as I thought he could."

Guess the blatant lies, flip flopping, lack of interviews, lack of specifics and alienation of Hispanics, Blacks, Women, Gays, the 47% and just about everyone else except white males didn't cause Mitt to lose?

Yeah...that's right...Solyndra...yea...we didn't use it enough...that's the ticket...

Romney NOT disclosing his income or releasing at least five years of taxes really shot himself in the butt...

I still can not comprehend, $50,000.00 a day income that he's still making every single day for deals he did years ago with Bain Capitol, which also lost people their jobs, home and health insurance... Ruined these peoples lives... Disgusting...

Romney was/is just too slick... and it didn't work for him...

Romney exposed the GOP for what they really stand for... Big Money interest...

Many of us believed Romney would (only) be the best among a group of poor candidates.

More importantly, when Romney won the nomination, the right (Tea Party) wing of the republican party lost.

So, really two groups received mandates: 1. democrats 2. the moderate and liberal wings of the republican party.

It's time for these two winners to compromise together for the good of this nation.

there is no moderate wing of the Republican Party. There is the Tea Party and there are the Democrats. If you want compromise and moderation, become a Democrat.

It didn't stick because they forgot the "gate" part. Everyone knows it's not a real scandal unless there's a "gate" involved. If they had been pushing "Solyndragate" and "Benghazigate" and "Fastgate andgate Furiousgate", then they'd probably have impeached President Obama by now. Silly Republicans.

The republicans need to understand, the only ones they're scaring with their made up crap is their base. The rest of the country has seen them for what they are (a bunch of fear-mongers).

Solyndra and Bengazi would have opened a bigger can of worms for Romney. He was smart enough to leave them alone. The fact that the Republicans lost is their weak field of candidates and, above all, the policies and practices of the extremists who are controlling their party.

Pretty soon, there's going to be enough excuses as to why Romney lost to fill a book when there is really only one reason. The other reasons are just subtopics of the real reason for his loss.

Mitt Romney lost because of Mitt Romney. He was his own worst enemy. He is the common denominator in every "he lost because...." equation.
