DeMint is gone...The beginning of the end of the Tea Potty

Santa gives us an excellent gift..just as 21 years ago, the end of Soviet Union near Christmas, Santa's gift too - banishing Satan

.

Santa, Thank you;

Satan, go away (by Satan, I mean the Soviet union, not Mint, DeMint, that is).

No more (de) Mint in the tea. How wonderful.

More and more extremists will bite the dust or the Republican party will bite the dust. Apparently they are deciding which way to go but still have a long way before all the tea bags are gone.

Senator DeMint is definitely not a person I like representing my state and am glad to see him gone from the scene.

But Ms. Pigotry, Alaska Girl, Feisty Redhead and the likes of all of you, you are the left-wing nutjobs that give the right-wing nutjobs hope. Be shrill in your rhetoric and they continue, be moderate and we, Democrats, have an excellent chance of controlling both houses of Congress in 2014 or 2016 at the latest.

I learned a long time ago that you get more flies with honey. Yes, fresh crap draws flies also, but they're gone when it dries. Honey can be replinished but crap just dries and becomes even less than fertilizer.

Those of you like pigotry, feisty, alaska and others make me ashamed to be a true liberal Democrat. I learned from Lyndon Johnson, who my paternal Grandmother worked for for 30+ years. I come from a very long line of Democrats, all very liberal. But shrill we weren't nor are we now. We learned that gentle persuasion worked a lot beter. Of course, sometimes the way Lyndon got Civil Rights legislation passed was tought, but that's the way it works sometimes. Now is not the time.

Let me email or call my State Senator, a very moderate Republican, with a lot of pull, to convince Nikki Haley that someone like DeMint isn't a solution, but another piece of the idiocy that is destroying the Republican Party, a party today that would make Lincoln cry, T. Rosevelt rebel. The Republican party of today would consider them too liberal for it.

Let us all work together to move forward to a true democratic society. One where people can disagree without trying to destroy others that do not think like them. In other words, a civil society.

Please, please let the rhetoric die down a tad. Yes we won, but there's a lot of work to be done yet and those of you who become the left-wing nutjobs do nothing to advance any chanche of us, the Democrats, gaining any ground on the national stage.

    Well, BOO @!$%#ing HOO!

There is a "ignore author" feature available to you, I suggest you acquaint yourself with it!

Not sure who think died and left you in charge, but in the meantime, BITE ME!

A TRUE progressive does NOT demand their beliefs onto others, you're as intolerant as the right wing nitwits!

@jackieboy, you have got to be kidding on the Civil Society part. Your worried about looking good on a National Stage to a bunch of republicans? Right!!! Although I lean to the Democratic side I had no love nor respect for LBJ. There is a lot of blood on that mans hands. A suit should never be in charge of a Military matter. If you want a war won, tell the military what you want, don't interfere no matter what, unshackle the generals and turn us loose.

Job1 - You think that Republicans hate people of color? That is why it was the Republican Party that ended slavery, passed the Civil Rights Act (81% voting for it vs 60% of Dems), first black Congressman and Senator, first black Secretary of State and first female Secretary of State. It might be a good idea to think and get your facts straight before you start typing.

Also, today's the bat crazy club hates President Obama because they don't like a liberal black man.

A new word has been created since Barry was re-elected

                          Ineptocracy

DEFINITION: (in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Very good definition, great new word. however low info. voters won't be able to spell it correctly & they will probably think it is a new Obama phone app.

                          I suppose we should just,

So libbies, one question ? with a premise of course.

After sequester and cuts to defense, and A raise in the debt limit, + possible down grade in our credit rating. Eminently, resulting in lost faith in the Us gov't bonds held by the various creditors/countries "China" in particular.

                                  Here is the question.

What should we do when one morning, we awaken to 60+ Chinese aircraft carriers and support craft surrounding our country, and a delegation of oriental Ambassador's in Washington DC with a message from Beijing to transport All Of Our precious metals/gold from Ft.Knox to the port of New Orleans for shipment to China??? Shall we just nuke them? lol How many nuclear submarines do they have, built with American steel??? "Just Askin"
