Oscar insurance premium is correct. My wife and I have a small group policy that was $1125 in 2008. This year it is $2300 with less benefits and a tripled deductible. My insurance agent said that I have to have a higher deductible to meet the Healthcare Reform Acts higher deductible clause. We could spend $33,400 in premiums and deductible before the insurance company has to pay a penny. Employers are going to have to drop insurance for employees or become non-competiive with foreign companies. Thank you Mr President and Congresswoman Pelosi. Where do you think these companies are going to get employees? Not in the U. S. I am afraid.
