It's Obama that is offering to work with Mitt in some capacity..........THATS a GOOD MAN! He is not perfect but his HEART is in it........and he really does CARE about America.....The HOUSE needs to help HIM put our COUNTRY back together again.

Man, some of you people on here are downright nasty the way you're calling a presidential candidate names? Aren't we all on the same side of things here? All I see is nasty gloating and I told you sos becuase Obama won.

Well, Obama has done nothing but make things worse. Unemployment up, debt WAY up, taxes all going up, things better off for no one. You all call Romney a liar but Obama said hed get unemployment to 5.4% and cut the debit in half. He didnt even come close to any of those. He said he called Benghazi a terrorist act but in a clip CBS news just released FROM SEPT 12 it has him waffling and saying nothing. Yet you all crucify Romney for being a HEARTLESS? What? Buy into Obama's campaign message much?

These are politicians, duh theyre going to lie. To act like one is any better than the other is downright laughable. Obama won because of his image and campaigning, not because any of his policies or ideas are working. Oh hes gridlocked? What about the first two years when he had everything? Not even DEMOCRATS approve his budget plan. Think about that.

At least practice some humility jesus christ. Obama and the country face major obstacles for MANY different reasons and the fact is both sides need to compromise or else things are going to get TERRIBLE.

The fact of the matter is we are in this together, on the same team, and that if both sides dont start working together ASAP then our country could be in serious trouble. The economy under Obama has done nothing but get worse with debt, unemplyoment foodstamps, etc, and with the cliff looming, both sides will need to get together and compromise. Neither party is perfect, neither is 100% correct. Its not all the republics fault for blocking Obama, he had a full 2 years and didn't do A LOT of what he promised. We both need to come together like clinton did, or else our debt and unemployment will spike the sky following the financial cliff.

To see all the gloaters on here is sickening. We are on the same team, instead of dividing show humility and openness.

Barack Obama is a TOTAL HYPOCRITE. He stands up there after winning the election and says he would like to "sit down with Mitt Romney", You got to be kidding me. I hope Governor Romney calls a press conference and states, " I cannot imagine why this President would even want to talk to someone he called a BULLSH-TTER!. So maybe you, the press, could do your job and ask him. Well my answer is this Mr. President. And then I hope he gives Obama the MIDDLE FINGER and states. "You can sit down on this"! After which he immediately walks the hell out on the "appeasers to the President" press. That's exactly the answer Obama deserves!

There is a pretty long list of reasons why Romney was not the best candidate for the Republicans to nominate. The big surprise is that he came so close. His big majority in many states was a vote against Obama, as much as anything.

Bain Capital - many Americans are still really pissed at the Wall Street speculators who crashed the real estate and stock markets.

The 47% speech - viable candidates cannot say things like that out loud.

The tax returns - no one should be nominated if they resist having any records published - tax returns, transcripts, criminal records (including juvenile), health records. The electorate has a right to know for whom they are voting.

"I'll take a lot of credit for saving the auto industry" -Mitt Romney

If you read the last ten points of Romney's plan you would come to the conclusion he did not only mean let Detroit go bankrupt. He meant to send all of us to bankruptcy. He wanted to remove every last chance individuals had to get representation. He wanted to stop unions from lobbying yet it was OK for republicans, businesses, and others to do so. Romney was the evilest of the evil people running for President in a long time.

Hmmmm,,,

Was it the auto bailout?

Or maybe

Was it the fact that Bain destroyed 10 good paying jobs for every minimum wage job they created?

Or maybe

Was it Romney's 4 deferments and fleeing the USA to avoid the Vietnam war?

Or maybe

Was it his triple stance on every single issue??

Or maybe

Was it his lack of any detail to his non-existent plan?

Or maybe

Was it his hawkish "Start more wars" attitude toward foreign affairs??

Or maybe

Was it any of a hundred other reasons??

If Republicans do not completely restructure the party, They will NEVER win another National election

The headline should read...."Mitt Romney never overcame the liberal stream media lack of reporting of the news on Obama" or "Mitt Romney never overcame the White House propaganda stream media (MSNBC, CBS, CNN etc.)"...

Why even the MSNBC TV page frame had "Lean Forward" and it was reported on other "news" stations, including around the world, that the liberal stream media had direct, almost word for word "news" reports from the White House.

Journalism is dead and the American people were done a disservice.....Sad, Sad, Sad....

No where did I see reporting on:

1. The Obama administration lying about the terrorist attack in Benghazi. The truth is coming out. Could result in an impeachment.

2. Fast and Furious a corrupt attempt to supply arms to drug cartels that resulted in the death of a US Border Patrol agent

3. Obama breaking his oath of office by not passing a budget during his presidential term. This is required by the Constitution. Could result in an impeachment.

4. Executive order ignoring the immigration law of the U.S. Once again broke the law. Could result in an impeachment.

5. Has enacted over 10,000 new regulations on business that are overburdening those business owners and are resulting in layoffs, business closings (coal) and if they stay open, dramatic increase in cost of goods and services to you.

6. Added over $6 Trillion in new debt and plans to add another $4 Trillion by 2016. Basically doubling the debt in 8 years.....This will result in paying over $1 TRILLION in just interest alone per year....Down the drain....

It is highly likely that if you get your news from the liberal stream media, you had no clue to how corrupt and anti-business (anti-employment) this administration is.....

Any administration that touts as a "positive" that we now have more people on welfare and food stamps than ever before has it's priorities in the wrong place......So did Greece......

You elected him, you now have to live with the consequences.........................

Most of the GOP decided the best person they had was not good enough, so they didn't support him, and he quit the race. Yes, Mr. Huntsman would have beaten Obama, but the teabaggers didn't think (key word is think) he was conservative enough.

But they kept supporting the ones who were against women having a say about their own bodies, etc. (War on women was REAL). Mitt was called many names by his fellow snakes that were also running. Mitt just had more money and bought the election.

Now comes the real truth, the GOP did not want to win the White House! Think about it, the tea baggers/gop in Congress had no real plans on anything, except their war on women. How many abortion bills as compared to job bills were there. They waved a 7 page budget bill around, problem was they had no $ amounts in it. But yet they bragged about it.

There is a lot more a person can point to that will make my points. They had NO PLANS to get us out of this economic mess. And if they would have won the election, we as a country would be going back to those same failed policies, and the middle class would competely disappear. And most, if not all of the GOP/tea baggers posting here would also be working for less, way way less per hour. The rich are not going to elevate you, nor help you make more money. WAKE UP for crying aloud.

We have one chance to get this right, and it will take both sides, working together, to get it done. Name calling and finger pointing like the right wing nuts are doing is not helping. Just remember, you LOST, get over it, the winners have, and lets work together for everyone.

But ten to one, the card carrying members of the KKK won't do anything except to keep complaining about the left side. Thank goodness we can see them when they post their drivel.

After all of those Primaries, all of those GOP Debates, Republicans selected Mitt Romney with their votes. Republican Voters selected Mitt Romney, and then the Romney Team selected Paul Ryan. I believe that Romney and McCain should write a book describing how the Conservative Leadership of the GOP really messed up their bid to become POTUS. Recent interviews of Right Wing Leaders presenting a list of the new "Boy Wonders" who will lead the GOP to the promise land at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, is both amusing and sad. Those neighborhoods the Republicans refuse to drive through everyday are filled with voters.

Those four words had absolutely NOTHING to do with his TOTAL ANNIHILATION at the polls!

He is SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for his TOTAL FAILURE because he tried to BULL$HIT & LIE to the 99% American People and his mistake after mistake on a daily basis! You can't remember LIES or FLIP/FLOPS when you are continually doing it on a daily basis! THAT'S WHY HE WAS ANNIHILATED! No other reason!

I am an independent registered with the republican party. 1st congrats to president Obama. I believe in our system and the people decided, as it should be. It is very hard to defeat an incumbent even if his record isn't steller. Obama also made the case that he inherited this economy. This President was beatable but here are the reasons he won.

1st. )Mitt made a crazy that statement of 47% of the people did'nt matter. ( this was taken out of context but so are most statements in politics.) My answer to that is Obama didn't care about 54% when he forced the Health care bill down our throats.

2nd. ) He let Obama up on the Benghazi issue. Thats where he really could of caused problems for the President.

3rd.) Candi Crowley should have just moderated . Her fact checking during the debate was inconsiderate and her facts were wrong.

4th.) Playing it safe with the media. If you want to get the message across go to the media inteviews.

5th.) Hurricane Sandi and the endorsement of the new democrate Governer Christie.

6th. ) Hurricane Sandi stopping Mitts momentum. ( not sure if that would have made a difference)

Now I usually vote for republicans because of viscal and economic agreements. I also hate big Govt.

The Republican party needs to change. Not the core of thier economic views, but the core of the ideological views.

As a Republican I am pro-life but I believe people should have a personal choice. In other words leave Roe V. Wade alone. Republican members stay out of our personal lives. A womans right to abortion is important. So Republicans you want the woman vote, lets start there.

Republicans as a core of ideals are against Gay marriage. That is the dumbest thing in the world. Leave people alone. I am intelligent and know that being gay is not a choice but a matter of biology. People are born gay as people are born white or black, male or female. Stay out of peoples life. It is not up to the goverment to decide who should or who shouldnt get married.

Back to women. Not allowing birth controll in health care is insane. Many women need birth control to regulate thier hormones. Many women use Birth control to control family size. The womans arguement is men get Viagara and they are right. Giive women what they need.

Lets look at minorities. Why any citizen is refered to as a monority escapes my mind. We are all Americans, remember we the people?

Lets reach out to all people amd make the Republican party a party of inclusion, then maybe just maybe the core of lesst Govt and taxes will resonate.

To all my fellow republicans. Now is not the time to bash Obama. We have a divided nation in congress and the senate. We have a suffering economy. How about we root for everyone in our Government so that we can prosper once again.

After Obama did the stimulus bill in 09 I was listening to right wing radio while driving. There were people calling in saying things like their small post office got some of the money to make improvements and they just gave it out as bonuses to one another for thing like getting your desk mate a cup of coffee. Did those right wing hate mongers jockeying the hate spewing microphones ever once tell those individuals they were stealing from the tax payers. Heck no. They just laughed it up and encouraged others to do the same types of things.

Character counts, our behavior when no one is watching is indicative of our true selves, the 47% remarks proved who the real Romney is, I didn't care for that "Real Romney." When nearly half of the American Population is held in such abject contempt, you are unfit for that position. Mr. Romney's is and was unfit for the Presidency. The only steadfast trait Mr. Romney showed was his refusal to release his Tax Returns and his contempt for ordinary Americans. I am delighted that the President was reelected and Romney and the Koch Brothers/Rove/Adelson cabal got trounced. I am a proud member of the Democratic Inclusive Party, all are welcome.

Obama 2012-2016

Who gives a flying fruck about the Republican Party. Let them die. This is the political Party that tried to buy, lie and steal this election. They offered up a canidate with no real positions on anything and would flop his position if need be that day. A canidate who had no conscious about spewing untruths to further his agenda.

President Obama was the best man for the job and he proved it but how we as Americans can even allow this TEA PARTY element to exist is sickening. Look at John Boehner. Typical tow the party line oldguard drunkard who will make it a taffy pull when the President tries to pass a budget. I guarantee you the Republicans will demand that the Bush tax cuts get extended just for President Obama to get a budget passed. This is called extortion. These thieves need to be taken out to pasture or shot. Thier choice.

Mittens/Ryan lost because they could not overcome Mitt's opposition remarks to the auto industry's bailout. Nor could they con the American voters into somehow forgetting that Mittens consistently, up to the very last minute, refused to reveal his financials for the last ten years. Indulging in the degree of flip-flopping which they did was fatal. Their attitude toward middle-class America was one of scorn and contempt and they were always unable to hide that. And, the way they threw several hundred million dollars around and did so in that "Hey everybody, look at how rich I am!" mentality - anathema to a struggling middle class, was their final and justified undoing.

Romney lost because of the way he "spewed" things out of his mouth one day and changed it the next; whatever he thought people he was adressing wanted to hear. People just couldn't trust him; it's that simple. Then the clincher was when he stood before the mic and told Obama to "take his ___?__, ___?_— and "hate" and go back to Chicago." President Obama doesn't have a hateful or mean bone in his body. I say to Romney, "next time you're down by the river, drop in!"

Good article - It certainly proves that votes are expensive and Obama bought Ohio and Michigan electoral votes with our money.

Romney made Four mistakes. One, he picked Ryan for a running mate. Two, he was going to give wealthy corporations and the already filthy Rich a Big Tax break. Three, he was going to put Social Security money into Wall St. of all places. Four, he was going to give people on Medicare a Voucher to get health care. He was through before he began. He never had a chance.

In reality, especially in light of the precedent set, all of the Bailout's were ill-advised. It is not part of the free-enterprise system that we reward incompetent management and leadership by giving them a second chance. That the government did it simply put our money at risk. Free enterprise says stand on your own two feet, or falls. Just that simple. Those who voted for Obama based on the bailouts voted in favor of, or to justify, their own selfish greed.

"There has grown up in the minds of certain groups in this country the notion that because a man or corporation has made a profit out of the public for a number of years, the government and the courts are charged with the duty of guaranteeing such profit in the future, even in the face of changing circumstances and contrary to public interest. This strange doctrine is not supported by statute or common law. Neither individuals nor corporations have any right to come into court and ask that the clock of history be stopped, or turned back."

Should have let the market place deal with it all; in short order some company (albeit non-U.S. based most likely) would have bought up the assets and put the people back to work although quite likely not at the artifically inflated union labor rates that the employees had enjoyed previously. That is, if the assets were actually worth anything - after all, why would you buy a closed ball bearing company whose equipment turns out lopsided ball bearings if you are in the ball bearing manufacturing business and are looking to expand. But if if it made great ball bearings, you'd buy and proudly wave the "Made In xxx" banner.

And here we are only 2 days out of the election and what's happening? The push is on to ratify a treaty in the United Nations that would actually have to be ignored by the U.S. because of our Constitution, or if adhered to would be in direct defiance and conflict with our Constitution. But that's nothing new to this administration, and admitedly not new to the previous one either.

Then there's the stock market's opinion of the election results; and newly released numbers showing that there are now more than 300,000 unemployed people than prior to the election (oh, yeah, blame it on Sandy the hurricane), and for the first time in over 9 years even McDonalds has had a decline in business - definitely a recovering economy, Mr. President. While I'm not overly impressed with Romney, I was willing to give him a chance to try -- and to hopefully not make the same stupid mistakes that Obama seems to be hell bent on repeating.

Could all you really Smart People that spent ALL DAY YESTERDAY, talking about how GOP lost and constantly threw statistics at the screen please tell me how do we classify people in another 20 years when the USA looks like Brazil with tons of mixed people? When Obama voted for himself was he a black casting a vote or a white? Get over the RACE crap, WAKE UP AND MOVE FORWARD!

Just imagine you're one of the millions of people that are employed, either directly or indirectly, by the auto manufacturing industry or any business that services it.

Now imagine that had Romney been president at the outset of the financial crisis, instead of Obama. You would all be out of work now.

Can you also imagine the ruin and despair this one incredibly short sighted and arrogant decision by the silver spoon boy would have caused.

Just be thankful he lost. God knows what other God awful decisions he would have made.
