Updated 4:08 p.m. ET - STERLING, VA -- Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney's campaign announced Monday afternoon that the candidate would add two campaign stops on Election Day in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
A campaign official said Romney would make stops in Cleveland and Pittsburgh, part of what the GOP nominee's campaign called an effort to "keep working until the polls close."
Pollsters divide the state of Ohio into five regions: coal country, northeastern Ohio, the auto belt, the Columbus area and the Cincinnati region. Currently, Obama is doing well in the north and has also made inroads in coal country – but the real area to watch is the auto belt where Romney will return to campaign Tuesday. NBC's Chuck Todd reports.
Romney campaign advisers have eyed Pennsylvania in recent weeks as a backstop against losing other battleground states, especially as Obama has managed to maintain a mostly consistent if slight advantage over Romney in Ohio. Pennsylvania lacks a robust early voting effort and the vast majority of ballots are cast on election day. Romney's campaign and outside groups supporting it have poured money into television advertising there in recent weeks.
Pittsburgh has advantage of bleeding over into the Ohio media markets, too.

In Cleveland, Romney will visit his campaign's victory office, according to a Republican operative familiar with the campaign's plans.
Romney will travel to the two Midwestern battlegrounds after voting in Belmont, Massachusetts on Tuesday morning.
On Monday, Romney barnstormed across four swing states, with rallies in Florida, Virginia, Ohio and New Hampshire. The New Hampshire midnight rally in in Manchester had been billed as the campaign's finale.
Jen Psaki, the traveling campaign spokeswoman for President Barack Obama, suggested the stop was a sign of weakness.

"I will say it's no surprise that Mitt Romney is headed to Ohio, or reportedly headed to Ohio tomorrow," she told reporters in a gaggle aboard Air Force One. "Without that state it's a rocky road to victory -- an insurmountable road I would say."
Romney campaign advisers say the candidate himself decided on Monday to add the last minute stops, preferring to motivate volunteers and supporters by showing them that he was working just as hard as they are in the final hours, to sitting at home and waiting for results to come in.

Look at some of the national Democrats forecast a large Obama win. Nate Silver is giving an 83.6% chance of Obama being re-elected. Of course, Mr. Silver a huge Democratic pundit. He is predicting big Obama victories in every battleground state. But in Ohio Mr. Obama won the early voting in 2008 in Ohio by 250% over McCain. In 2012 he is ahead in early voting in Ohio by 5%. Also in Ohio the Republicans have always won the election day voting. In 2008, McCain won the voting day ballots in Ohio. So those who are saying Obama has Ohio won just don't have any evidence of it.

here are some facts...We were losing 850,000 jobs a month when this guy took over, our economy contracted at 9% in the first quarter, we had two unpaid for wars and big pharma...etc. These are facts too, but ones that you on the right fail to acknowledge. I have raised 4 kids, put them through college, paid for three weddings and have 5 grand kids that I hope I can leave something for. Its not about ME. I do hope you will still consider me a brother however, as we are definitely all in this together.....except the 1%........ps I wasn't given a penny by anyone.......
So, you are ok with your grand childrens future being sold down the road. I am sure you are aware of the 16 trillion owed by the U.S. I also have never needed a handout and I thank my God for that. Yes, I have been unemployed, out of work and still made it through without any help. I do not have a problem helping others, The others being the children and the elderly. My wife is a social worker and sees all of it and it is not pretty. And yes, I do believe we are in this together as brothers, we do bleed the same, I will still fight beside you and for you. By the way, I have done that also. When we talk about being brothers, all I see is a President that has done everything he could to tear us apart. Race, class and everything in between. This is not the leader I want. This is not the leader we need. My only hope is we come out of this together and not further apart. With Obama, I believe we will be further apart.

Thank you for reading my post and commenting. The President made promises without conditions to include any action of congress. He ran to become the President after Bush. He said that he could fix the problems in our economy. He has failed to keep all of his promises particularly some key promises regarding the economy. His economic plan for the next four years in mathematically impossible. According to an Obama administration report concerning the stimulus, unemployment has been a little worse than if the stimulus were never passed.

Romney cannot undo the fact he paid no federal income tax for more than ten years, he cannot undo the fact he has a huge chunk of his wealth stashed in foreign accounts to avoid paying taxes in America, he cannot undo the fact he had all his administration e-mails, documents and computer hard drives destroyed in the last days he was Governor, and he cannot undo the fact he has done an about-face on almost every one of his core beliefs over the past twelve years.........who the hell is Romney, anyway.
