Hecklers interrupt Obama's Cincinnati rally

Larry Downing / Reuters

President Obama is interrupted by an anti-abortion protester as he speaks at a campaign event at Fifth Third Arena at the University of Cincinnati, Nov. 4.

CINCINNATI, OHIO -- As President Obama tried to maximize the precious few stops he has left in crucial Ohio, his rally here Sunday night was full of musical interludes, but not without a few interruptions.

Taking the stage at the University of Cincinnati shortly after R+B superstar Stevie Wonder warmed up the crowd, the president was sidetracked by a lone protestor up in the rafters, who held a sign and yelled, his words loud but hard to make out.

“I guess y’all are still fired up,” Obama said as the crowd began a counter-chant of “four more years!” attempting to drown the heckler out.

At first the president tried to soldier through and deliver his remarks over the protestor, but he finally gave in as the crowd cheered on state troopers who pried the man away from the balcony bars he had grabbed onto.

Pablo Martinez Monsivais / AP

President Barack Obama reaches over to greet supporters before speaking at in Cincinnati.

But it wasn’t over yet – there was still one more protestor who had to be removed from the arena.

“It’s okay folks. Everybody, it’s okay. We’re good,” Obama said before once again giving up until the cheering and shouting subsided.

Despite the dissonance at the beginning of his remarks, the rest of the president’s event was much more harmonious, given that Wonder played the president offstage to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” – an Obama campaign favorite.

As the band struck up the first recognizable chords of the song, most of the 13,500 audience members started to dance and clap along.

Not even the president could resist – he was seen shuffling back and forth, modestly clapping to the beat.

After his event in Cincinnati, the president headed to Aurora, Colorado, where he would be joined by singer/songwriter Dave Matthews.

Just by reading the thread you can see the anger that has developed between the people of this nation. It started during the Bush administration and has gotten worst under Obama. Hopefully, after this election the people can regain their sensibility and strive for a better nation!

As far as you people who participate in posting on this thread or anyother for all that matters, if you want to be vulgar and disrespectful of others, take your posts somewhere else....Brenda, you come to mind when I say that.

There is very good reason for the anger directed at GW, and you should know that...

Starting from allowing 9/11 to an Illegal war

Where is the anger for Obama coming from??

Ill tell you, its anger for a black man being elected POTUS

Sure people can SAY its not a race thing, but the intelligent people, be they white or black know the real story

When Obama was elected the WASPs went out of their friggen minds, never for a minute believing he would actually win

It is a Dem vs GOP thing also

BUT NEVER has a sitting POTUS had to endure the disrespect that Obama has had to endure

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME in a joint Congressional address has a member shouted OUT LOUD, "LIAR" to a president?????

ILL TELL YOU WHEN, NEVER

The only people saying, "of course pulling the race card" are the racists, PERIOD

This clown also ran onto the field during Game 3 of the National League Division Series at Great American Ball Park and he was arrested outside the Vice Presidental debate in Kentucky last month. He's some guy who is clearly unbalanced. And the fun fact: His vote holds just as much weight as yours.

In recent polls 90% of Canadians said they would vote for Obama and 92% of Germans. Germany and Canada have much higher average household median incomes than the US. Resulting in policies which boosted taxes on the top 2% to even higher levels proposed by Clinton / Obama. Trickle down economics is a dead concept in the rest of the Western World and our economies are thriving. A vote for Romney is against the economic self interest of all Americans. Even the top 2%. As even the elite need a strong middle class for their business to thrive. Canada and Germany also have accurate news reporting. No Faux news to pollute our minds. With distort, repeat, repeat, repeat brainwashing media.

Obama just "evolves" and Romney flip flops right?

I'm afraid the American people are not rejecting him or the race wouldn't be this close.

      Monday, November 05, 2012

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 49% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns the vote from 48%. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and one percent (1%) remains undecided.

      Ohio: Romney 49%, Obama 49%

      Wisconsin: Obama 49%, Romney 49%

      Florida: Romney 50%, Obama 48%

Here’s your checklist for Tuesday night: Florida and Virginia are absolute must-win states for the Romney campaign. After that, Romney has to win either Ohio or Wisconsin. If he wins Ohio, chances are he wins the election. If Romney loses Ohio but wins Wisconsin, he also needs to get Colorado and either Iowa or Nevada to be the next president. Short of that, Obama will be reelected.

So what’s our latest polling in those eight states? Obama is ahead by two points in Nevada. Romney leads by one in Iowa, two in Florida and New Hampshire and three in Colorado and Virginia. The candidates are tied in Ohio and Wisconsin. But in every case those findings are within the margin of error.

Other states we looked at this week are more predictable. Obama is still up by five points in Michigan, although that’s the closest the race has been in that state all year. He’s ahead by 19 in Massachusetts. Romney posts a six-point lead in North Carolina.

Our country would most definately lose if they were elected, the only winners are the 1%ers and their snakes in the grass. We 99% win if Obama wins and so does our country. It's obvious you have never owned stocks.

First I am pretty sure Romney wouldn't know anything about his taxes, I am sure he has accountants that do that for him.

He pays the rate for Capital Gains, as the law states, less his itemized deductions, again as the law provides for.

And guess what? I have stocks too so on some of our income (GASP) we pay the lower rate.

Stay with me now, Capital Gain's tax rate is not the same as the Income tax for salaries.

And if any of you don't think that Obama already had the IRS sniffing all over Romneys taxes looking for dirt, then I have some oceanfront property in Arizone I would like to see you.

          Momma -

Mitt knows plenty about his taxes! He says different, but as we all know - he says one thing but it's really something different.

Look up Romney and CRUT trust - it's an LDS (only for Mormons) - it was done away with in the late 1990'd but Mitt still hides his money there - lots of money!

Our President said that he could work with the opposition party by reaching across the isle. That did not work.

Our President said that his administration would be free from lobbyists. That did not work.

Our President said that he would fix the economy within three years. That did not work.

Our President said that his health care bill would lower health care costs. That did not work.

Our President said that he would not raise taxes on 95% of Americans in any way. That did not work.

Our President said that his stimulus spending bill would solve our employment problem. That did not work.

Our President said that he would cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term. That did not work.

Our President has provided an economic "plan" for the next 4 years that is mathematically impossible. That cannot work.

I see a pattern here. Our President said that if he could not fix the economy within three year that he did not deserve a second term.
