Subscribe to RSSENGLEWOOD, CO — Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney implored Colorado voters for "one final push" in his final rally Saturday, making his entreaty to the largest and most boisterous crowd of the day.
"One final push is gonna get us there. We’ve had a lot of short nights and long days and now we’re close," Romney told a crowd of more than 17,000 supporters gathered at an outdoor amphitheater. "The door to a brighter future is there – it’s open, waiting for us. I need your vote, I need your work, I need your help."
Colorado voters have turned out in large numbers for Romney at recent rallies here, and he'll need the kind of high energy he received tonight to move this state, which most polls show knotted up, back into the Republican column on Tuesday.
In his fourth and final campaign stop of the day, Romney continued to appeal primarily to independent voters with his "closing argument" stump speech, telling his assembled crowd that the president had failed to live up to his lofty promises of change, and would continue to fail to work with Republicans in Congress should be he granted a second term.
"Change can't be measured in speeches; it is measured in achievements. And four years ago, candidate Obama promised to do so very much. But he has fallen so very short," Romney said. "He promised he would be a post-partisan president, but he has been most partisan — dividing, attacking, blaming."
Romney also added a local touch to his final Colorado appearance. Retelling the tale of a Boy Scout group's flag — thought lost in the Challenger space shuttle explosion, but later recovered unharmed and returned to them — Romney invited a special guest out onstage: Maj. William Tolbert, the US Air Force officer and scoutmaster from Monument, Colorado who figures so prominently in the story, carrying the flag itself, encased in glass.
"That," said Romney as Tolbert stood beside him and the crowd cheered its approval, "is a great flag, representing the greatest nation in the history of the Earth."

When Romney gives to his church, the money goes to the church corporation and their own self promotion. When I donate to my church, it goes to nondenominational needs in the country and in poor areas around the world. If they try to baptize me after death, it's a waste of their time, I've already left a letter stating my church affiliation. I was almost engaged to a Mormon who was a graduate of Annapolis, and learned of their teachings through him.

The problem with lyin Willardo is what he owes the government in taxes that he has evaded. He has yet to report one full year of any federal tax return. Once the government found out that he has hidden accounts overseas, he did not release his 2011 returns as it was not reported in there. His accountants are working on it now. When he does release, the last 5 years, he may be arrested for tax evasion.
The only reason people open overseas numbered bank accounts is to evade taxes on unreported income. It is estmated by some, that lyin Willardo, the Mexican Mormon Moron tax evader, bankrupter, draft dodger, job outsourcer and Etch a Sketch champion has hidden about 32 million in numbered accounts in the Cayman Islands and Switzerland. Unnamed workers at these banks sent this info to the IRS.
Hopefully, they will arrest this right wing criminal tax evader before the election.

I am not under the control of the bible freaks as you put it....I base my judgement on what one or the other says, as well as in this case what Obama has done....What kind of record does he have to run on? why does he not say what he is going to do why does he not open his college records,,,,eventually they will be open and I have a feeling that there are things there that may surpise a lot of people...why did he not send help to save those in Libya? There are so many issues that we face and one thing I wonder is if the liberals no longer believe in God and we are close to moving to a Godless nation. At the Democratic convention God was reinstated even though it did not get two thirds of the vote. Political I think they decided that it would be safer at this time to keep it in.
Is this significant? I believe that it is and our country was founded on a fundamental belief in God and that belief has allowed people to believe in the manner they wanted. If it is removed we are tempting fate and turning our backs on God. I believe that we then will be doomed as a nation. Actually this is prophetic and there is little anyone can do about it except vote.

Obviously their are radicals in any group and that does not relate to a generalization of an entire organization. We have witnessed the radicalism with respect to the Muslim religion however most of the belief is peaceful. Why would one be so overwhelmed because another person has a fundamental belief in God?
I believe for some a belief in God it directly in conflict with what they want to do or practice so to them the obvious answer is there is no God. So then your only response to mine would be of insult, so go ahead and take your shot or you could really come up with pertinent information with regards to the issues the country is facing but I believe your course of action is to continue on the path you are on.
