Romney takes closing argument for final Colorado swing

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — Mitt Romney offered Colorado voters a final look at his presidential résumé on Saturday afternoon, delivering an updated version of his "closing argument" speech to some 4,500 supporters gathered in an airplane hangar here.

"We've got to change course because unless we do we may be looking at another recession," Romney warned. "The question of this election comes down to this: Do you want more of the same or do you want real change?"

Romney will make his "real change" pitch once more for Colorado voters this evening, in his final rally in a state expected to have razor thin margins as votes are tallied on Election Day. As he did in Wisconsin on Friday, Romney focused his remarks on promises to work across the aisle, on keeping an economic focus if elected, and on his resume as a change agent in business and in government.

“You know when I’m elected the economy and American jobs will still be stagnant, but I’m not going to waste any time complaining my predecessor," Romney said. "I will not spend my effort and time trying to pass partisan legislation that’s unrelated to the economy and jobs. From day one, I’m going to go to work to help Americans get back to work.”

Romney was joined on the stump today by his wife Ann, who along with a coterie of top aides usually based in Boston, is traveling with Romney for the final three day stretch of the campaign. Taking the stage here before a large an energetic crowd, she was visibly emotional as she recalled the long road traveled thus far in the campaign.

"That is amazing, to walk in and have this kind of emotion come to us.  It makes me believe we can win Colorado," Mrs. Romney said. "It has been quite a journey. It’s coming to a close. We have three more days."

What?

No mention of Queen Anne telling the crowd how it's "their turn" along with her phony tears?

Ari Melber. He's been terrific during this campaign. Have enjoyed his insights immensely. Very progressive.

______________

There is a lot of talk going on around the web that the internals are not looking good for the Romneys and they know it. Wonder if this is true.

Are you all starting to get emotional after all the racism we have seen since Obama's election?

The Democratic Party and the American people are hopefully about to give him two terms, despite all the hate from the right and in some cases, the msm.

We have a president who has admitted when things have been difficult. We have a president who has had to compromise to get things done.

Who hasn't?

He has earned our vote. Can't wait for Tues. AM.

As the entire world watches, The United States of America will once again stand stall Tuesday evening.

Pat Boston,

I think their internal polls are telling them the truth , they lost.

So R&R obituaries are already going to first draft by the rest of the GOP.

They are still spending money and throwing more in any old state anywhere near a swing state.

They have money to burn and might as well play the lottery, it is the final act of desperation.

Polls today look great for Obama. Huge crowds everywhere he goes.

OBAMA CANT DRAW A CIRCLE THIS GO-ROUND

After holding mostly small and mid-size rallies for much of the campaign, Obama's team is planning a series of larger events this weekend aimed at drawing big crowds in battleground states. Still, the campaign isn't expecting to draw the massive audiences Obama had in the closing days of the 2008 race, when his rallies drew more than 50,000.

"You want to know that your president means what he says and says what he means," Obama told a 4,000-person crowd in northeast Ohio. "And after four years as president, you know me."

The only person I would have liked to see more this election (other than Keith) is John Dean. I have missed his perspectives this campaign very much. I met him when he came to Boston when he was selling his book. Wonderful wonderful man.

So I'm looking forward to watching out for authors visiting here and around the NE region, down to NYC and DC. Particularly Doris. I believe she's writing a book now about Teddy Roosevelt.

LOOKS PRETTY GOOD FOR ROMNEY!!!! ...and it's not even election day when republican voters are going to be out in mass!!!

The Rasmussen Reports Daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday Nov. 3 has shown Obama and Romney in a dead heat nationwide at 48 percent each, with 2 percent remaining undecided.

In addition across swing states, which will ultimately decide this election, Obama and Romney are virtually tied.

Ohio is now tied with 50 percent for each Romney and Obama, according to a recent state poll. In Wisconsin the two candidates were also registered with 49 percent each of those surveyed in the state poll released on Thursday.

According to other recent state polls Obama is marginally ahead in Nevada, New Hampshire and Virginia. In all three states Obama was announced to be just 2 percentage points ahead of Romney; 50 percent compared to 48 percent.

In three other important states, Romney was ahead. In Florida Romney leads by 50 percent compared to 48 percent for Obama. In Iowa things were even closer with Romney leading by just a single percentage point, 49 percent compared to 48 percent. Finally in Colorado Romney was ahead by 3 points, 50 percent compared to 47 percent.

According to Rasmussen Reports polls, the Electoral College Map looks extremely close, with the president predicted to register 237 Electoral Votes, and with Romney on 206 Electoral Votes.

I know why he might lose the election (thought I give them some kinda of hope). He is the worst candidate that Republican party could of put up to run for President of the United States. If they would of put a person with some just a little integrity they would of had a good chance of winning, but the picked Romney and Ryan. Picking those two wasn't very smart for the GOP.

The problem here your trying to relate to past terms - remember don't judge a book by its cover.

Bush years was terrible but weren't bi-partisan like todays democrats - At least I see more bi-partisan on the republician's side than I do on the democrats - your right what happen when Bush was in Office - But your absolutely WRONG about Romney - he's not even close to what Bush use to be. If you be listening which you probably haven't Romney has mention over and over about bi-partisan to work with democrats to help serve the people of this great country and hopefully to improve goverment performances but ONLY if the TWO parties work together. So Romney doesn't mention ONLY for the Republicans why your Obama claims the republicans show s no support. You know it takes two to tangle - how do we know if its the democrats don't want to be bi-partisans and not being a team player with republicans to help ALL Americans! Think before your trying to make point. Your aimimg back in the past- this is future like Obama saids ' FORWARD" . So move on ahead please! Thank you.

Frankly, I see it the other way because of the deliberate decision by Republican leadership to block the President's economic policies, the filibusters/cloture votes, and the statements that the number one priority was to make President Obama a one-term President.

Trump look like the biggest idiot for the Republicans. All American voters
think about this - because President Obama didn't show his college papers to us
the voters what does that tell you - that Donald Trump was absolutely right!
President Obama claimed himself as a foriegn student when he applied to
Colombia University it also shows his birth place was not in the USA. So if you
don't want to believe this then ask president obama to show his college papers
to all the american voters on tv! if obama knows he's cleared then he should
have no problem in showing his college papers to the media - now you see that
President Obama is avoiding this and definitely shows that he's guilty and
Donald Trump is totally looking good on this! Why don't all voters write to the
president, email him to his web-site and demand that President Obama to show
his college papers on tv to all the american people. this simple if Obama doesn't
do this then all American voters will definitely know President Obama is guilty
! Then for all voters we have to say - Vote for Mitt Romney for President !!!!!
    VOTE ROMNEY 2012 PRESIDENT

Ok, now I understand your perspective in post 12.1. It's based on conspiracy/birther theory and your belief that our President is not an American. That belief completely skews any other possible perspective.

You insist that one candidate has to provide more documentation than is required by law, but not the other in order to satisfy you. You deny all the evidence that is contrary to birther including the official confirmation by the State of Hawaii. You ignore that Sen. McCain has said that President Obama is an American.

Respectfully MacBet, your common sense has been bought by all the commercials, books, and claims made by others in spite of proof otherwise. You are in factual denial.

    Good day to you sir.

The GOP/Tea Beggers are still not willing to talk about their acts of "Conspiracy." On Janruary 20, 2009 the Tea Beggers "Conspired" to take a "Blood Oath." Their "Blood Oath" was to destroy the President at all costs, and to take down the US Economy. In the Midnight Hour the GOP/Tea Begger "Conspirators" met at the Caucus Steakhouse in Washington D.C. In the backroom of the Caucus Restaurant. The GOP/RNC "Conspirators" made it clear. The US Economy must not grow under President Obama. They vowed to not pass any bills sponsored by the President, and then too scapegoat the President. Reports have it that the GOP/Tea Beggers were very drunk, and had 'ladies of the night' under each arm. "Nutty Newt" stated clearly that the seeds of 2012 were planted tonight. Read all about it America! Then vote America!

It will thrill the hearts of Republicans everywhere when Feisty chokes on every wrong and disrespecting word she has ever had the lying audacity to type. You will soon be unemployed because true Americans will be voting for Romney for our next President and Ryan for our next Vice President - we do this not out of anger towards anyone or out of revenge, but because we want a strong and prosperous America returned to us. True Americans believe in the visions of our founding fathers, not of the visions of questionable failed leaders.

True Americans believe in the visions of our founding fathers, not of the visions of questionable failed leaders.

If you really believe those founding fathers visions, then you believe it's A OK to own another person (slavery), women and children have no rights, etc..........

That belief really says a lot about you, and it ain't nice.

Do not vote for the GOP/RNC "Hoodlum's On The Hill" America! Look at their lack of a voting record America. Read about which GOP/Tea Beggers attended at the "Caucus Conspiracy" of 2009. Then it is time to vote out the "Bonehead Boehner Bunch," and "Crazy Cantor's Cronies. This "House Of Tea Beggers" needs to be replaced in November America!

LMMAO...It took Romney and his whole deluded posse of 100-- Governors (past and present) all of Bush former white house staff, House speakers, Senate and Congress and God knows how many paid volunteers to rally 30,000 (disputed) in Ohio.

President Obama by himself drew 20,000+ at his Wisconsin rally...HAHAHAHAHA!

Smooth talking grifters are fooling you people. This R fella is sooo full of words but gives no specifics except the same as G. Da Ba Ya. the same old line, lower the riches taxes sooo they can fill their children's bank accounts. Theirs are already full! Did you know that during the recession, Ann Romney bought an undetermined amount of DELPHI shares for .67 cents DELPHI is an auto parts company that is a huge supplier of general motors. They refused to sell to GM after bail out unless GM paid a large increase in prices for their products. Get that, your money bailed out the entire industry, and the stock holders including the Romneys Charged more for their products. The stock of DELPHI is now worth $32.00 It is figured the Romneys who wanted nooo bailout money,{Let them go BANKRUPT] have now stashed it is figured millions due to this DELPHI. The auto workers union has put in a complaint to some ethics dept in gov. Hope there is an investigation to show what a phony they are. Romney is a CON man. A snake oil salesman. Lots of words but nooo substance. Put women under subgigation Of the male species, take away their right to health care and freedom of choice. How can Ann Romney stand how phoney he is?

Betty-2979110 the GOP/Tea Beggers made their "Blood Oath" to economically and politically stick together in both houses of Congress to destroy the US Economy. At the "Midnight Meeting" the GOP/Tea Beggers made it clear. To destroy the Credit Rating of the US Economy, and kill every Jobs Bill that is brought before them by the President. Their "Blood Oath" was truely an "Oath For Revenge" upon the American People. Read all about it America!

The very fact that Obama wont address the Libya,Benghazi cover-up, and by his own words saying there's no need to talk about it before the election (like that is an answer) is proof that he is dirty,And his followers don't even want to know the truth of a set-up,murder and cover-up of a ambassador that dared to disagree with him and his policy's

The official story surrounding the events of September 11, 2012 in Benghazi, Libya which left four Americans dead, has now officially fallen apart.

After numerous flips and flops by the Obama administration, which originally attempted to paint the incident as a Muslim outcry over an anti-Islamic video, whistle blowers throughout the U.S. government, including within the White House, the State Department, national intelligence agencies and the U.S.military have made available stunning details that suggest not only did operational commanders have live visual and audio communications from drones overhead and intelligence assets on the ground, but that some commanders within the military were prepared to go-it-alone after being told to "stand down."
Africom commanding officer U.S. General Carter Ham, after being ordered to essentially surrender control of the situation to alleged Al Queda terrorists and let Americans on the ground die, made the unilateral decision to ignore orders from the Secretary of Defense and activated special operations teams at his disposal for immediate deployment to the area.(if the general had not intervened' there would be 34 dead Americans and not just 4---And now Obama has the U.S. General Arrested for Activating Special Forces Teams; Ignoring Libya Stand-Down Order. (Obama does not like the real light to be shined on him,HuH!)
