ARVADA, Colo. -- Ka-zing.
Three days before the election, Vice President Joe Biden pegged his newest critique of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney to the semi-annual inconvenience of adjusting clocks for Daylight Savings Time, which occurs tonight.
"It’s Mitt Romney’s favorite time of the year -- because he gets to turn the clock back!" Biden told a crowd of hundreds at a suburban Denver high school.
In his remarks, the vice president accused Romney of embracing social policies out of an earlier era, pointedly noting the GOP nominee's voiced enthusiasm for "getting rid of" Planned Parenthood.
"With all the issues facing the country, Gov. Romney has focused on for the last three months [that] he's going to get rid of Planned Parenthood" Biden said. "And by the way, he doesn't even know he doesn't control Planned Parenthood."
"He should talk to Big Bird!" he added, referencing the scuffle over public broadcasting funding that broke out during one of the presidential debates.
(In context, Romney said last spring he was going to "get rid" of federal funding for Planned Parenthood, not get rid of the entity itself.)
Biden has two events scheduled in swing state Colorado Saturday. He will campaign Sunday in Ohio.

Both sums have to be repaid, so the real amount borrowed is the $415 billion nominal deficit plus the $150 billion from Social Security or $565 billion. This is why Bush lost his Presidency!!

Romney has been the favorite son of Salt Lake City since his admittedly remarkable handling of the 2002 Olympics saved the city from scandal and made him a source of great personal and community pride. That's why the news of the newspaper's endorsement of Obama has got to hurt.
The Salt Lake City Tribune came out with a scathing indictment of the man and the candidate, saying: “The president has earned a second term. Romney, in whatever guise, does not deserve a first.”
For the editorial board, integrity is the primary issue. It is a question of his character and his willingness to step away from the values of his faith that he sayshe believes in. The Salt Lake Tribune expressed the displeasure with his "say anything to anybody to get elected" method of campaigning.It has created multiple Romneys, neither of which the Tribune likes.

Now, that is what you call fiscal responsibility!

Bush presidency he began squandering away the forecasted 5. 6 trillion dollar surpluses, because of his 1.4 trillion dollar tax cuts in 2001. George W. Bush.’s second round of tax cuts in 2003 accounted for the doubling of the national debt. Then you add in two unfunded wars, one unfunded Prescription Drug Mandate, and his American Dream Downpayment Act, and all of that adds up to is, he took a forecasted 5.6 trillion dollar surplus and turned it into and 11.9 trillion dollar debt! And, it’s all easily verifiable by going to Treasurydirect.gov. And doing the math!
I wonder if they even know who David Stockman is? If not, he happens to be a life long Republican and former Reagan budget director, who happened to make some very revealing comments about what has happened to the GOP since the beginning of the Reagan era.

President - Republicans 26 years, Democrats 16 years

Control of all 3 - Democrats 8 years, Republicans 4 years
So how is you propose to place all the blame on the Republican party? What were the Democrats doing all that time they were in power?

"It’s really hard to think of a public service less likely to be suitable for privatization."
Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney said at a GOP primary debate last June that he would "absolutely" shut down FEMA and transfer its responsibilities to the states. "If you can go even further, and send it back to the private sector, that's even better,".
So how is FEMA doing on Staten Island?

Since 1973, there have been about 50 million legal induced abortions in the United States. Planned Parenthood tries to influence the young mothers and fathers that the child will be an unnessary burden upon their lives. Read Steven Tyler's autobiography if you don't believe me. Most of these young people who have abortions carry a tremendous amount of guilt with them for the remainder of their lives. Even those that are not religous. Scary to think the VP of the United States is so gung-ho about murdering babies. It is time to terminate Obama and Biden and introduce a pro-life administration.
