Subscribe to RSSMENTOR, OH - A day after President Obama’s “voting is the best revenge” comment became the latest object of GOP nominee Mitt Romney’s ire, Obama campaign press secretary Jen Psaki sought to explain the context of the remark.
“The message he was sending,” she said, answering a question about it while traveling to Mentor, Ohio, with reporters on Air Force One, “is if you don’t like the policies, if you don’t like the plan that Gov. Romney is putting forward, if you think that’s a bad deal for the middle class, then you can go to the voting booth and cast your ballot. It’s nothing more complicated than that.”
President Obama continued his tour through Ohio with a campaign stop in Springfield, Oh., where he continued to criticize Governor Romney for running deceptive Jeep ads saying "This is not a game, these are people's jobs."
Obama’s offhand comment came Friday during a campaign rally in Springfield, Ohio, as supporters booed the mention of Romney’s name.
“Don't boo. Vote,” Obama said first, using a line that has become standard for him on the stump. “Voting's the best revenge,” he continued.
Earlier Saturday, Romney condemned the comment as overly negative, telling a crowd in Newington, N.H., that he thought it “surprised a lot of people.”
“Vote for revenge? Let me tell you what I’d like to tell you: Vote for love of country,” Romney said to cheers.

The UAW's are calling for an investigation by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics to investigate Romney's alleged violation of the Ethics in Government Act, which requires presidential candidates to disclose their personal finances. The ethics complaint comes on the heels of an Oct. 17 article in The Nation, which alleged that Romney has hidden his personal gains of at least $15.3 million from the auto bailout.
"He made his fortune off the misfortune of others," Bob King, president of the UAW, told The Huffington Post on Wednesday. "Why should we have to find out from the media about this?"
The Romney campaign could not be reached for comment.

The only reason MA has the healthcare plan that it does, is because MA’s healthcare was in dire straights, under Mitt Romney’s leadership.

Here’s why…
He wants to provide insurance for the rest of the country another way.
He wants to cap the Medicaid dollars at whatever the state received last year, add 1%, and then let us on our own to fend for ourselves. Or in his own words “manage your poor the way you think best”.
You must understand people…that’s a cut to Medicaid to the tune of more than 600 billion dollars. This differs greatly from the generous deal that MA got.
He opposes giving money for healthcare at the federal level, and also refuses to give it at the state level.
That, on top of Romney’s reportable care act (Romney care) pushes Medicaid cuts to well above 1 trillion dollars.
Why is this important…?
It means that the rest of the states will not have the generous benefits that Massachusetts had.
This means that he will be “pulling up the ladder” so no other state can achieve healthcare the way MA has.
Under Romney’s plan, there is no way to achieve universal healthcare.
Indeed, if Medicare is cut, even the current healthcare plan in Massachusetts will not survive.
The only reason Massachusetts healthcare plan has continued to survive, is from a generous waiver, first from the Bush administration, and yes, wait for it…
…then from the Obama administration, for billions and billions of dollars.
Massachusetts…your own worst enemy…? Yes !
Mitt’s cut to Medicare will put the burden of healthcare solely on the state’s tax-payer dollars.
They can not afford that, and the healthcare plan will wither away.
Furthermore, the Romney care plan, will cut Medicaid by 700 billion dollars.
More facts…By the year 2022 ( only ten years down the road ), Obama care will have 33 million more people under health care coverage.
Romney care will have 18 million fewer Americans with health care coverage.

In a local election or Federal, simply because I have been branded a 'rascist' because I don't agree with the Obama Admininstration policies. It is possible to not agree with policies without it being personal, or rascist.
I have voted for the lesser of 2 evils many times in the past. I could have been persuaded to vote for Obama if shown he was not the lessor of 2 evils. But when the D Party allows their talking points to include rascism as a way to guilt people into voting it is all over. I will NEVER vote D again. So think about that. The D's may win on Tuesday. If so, good for them. If they lose, they need to consider ALL the reasons why the lost. And this needs to be included. Using race cards to win votes out of guilt is childish and old. And it offends people and actually leads to more rascism.

The American people are very aware that the Republican Party practice obstructionism by refusing to move our country forward in one of the worst recession in our history since 1929. The Republican Party refused to help the American people in getting back work and addressing issues that will help the American economy. The Republican Party refused to help the American people get back to work by not passing the President Obama's jobs bill twice. This is wrong and the Republican Party should not be rewarded for this behavior. Politicians in time of need should always put the American people first. A prime example of our politicians working together is Governor Christie working with the President to help the people of New Jersey.

President Obama this morning ignored a reporter’s question about the mounting frustration victims of Hurricane Sandy are having with the response to the storm, refusing to let a question from the press interrupt a FEMA photo op in which he was on display taking action. FEMA runs out of water.

The sister of another said she could tell and felt Hilary was lying to her.
The cousin of another claims he has private letters from his now departed cousin alleging that it was his belief the Obama admin was playing politics in the region and refusing to deal with the reality of the situation either through incompetence or sheer political theater.
"Obama admin was playing politics in the region" -- Isn't foreign policies part of politics? Of course, every one, in particular the families, want to know the truth and circumstances surrounding their deaths. But no one is suggesting that Obama tried any coverup for his campaign benefits. There's simply no reason for him to do that. Even Romney has stopped making that a campaign issue, knowing it's a losing proposition.
As for charge of incompetence, I've already mentioned that it's just impossible for any president to fully protect diplomatic or military personnel in foreign lands short of deploying armies. Why single this out?

Kamo, President was neither weak nor giving up. He might have been too naive to try too hard, during the first 3 years, to work with the GOP leadership to the detriment of his agenda, but he wised up near the end of the third year. He produced good if not spectacular results in spite of GOP obstructions all the way from day 0.
I have no doubt that with the re-election pressure off during his second term, he'll know exactly how to deal with the GOPs and it will be "revenge" for all of us who despised the GOP leadership so much for their lack of human decency.
