Subscribe to RSSSARASOTA, Fla. -- Promising to give a Sarasota audience "the whole load" of his GOP criticism, Vice President Joe Biden unloaded a barrage of derision Wednesday over a Romney campaign ad alleging that American automakers are planning to move manufacturing overseas to China.
Calling the Jeep ad "one of the most flagrantly dishonest ads I can ever remember in my political career," Biden called the allegation - which has been widely disputed by fact checkers and by the auto companies themselves - "an outrageous lie."
"All my time I have never heard an American corporation in the waning hours of the campaign engage with that kind of description of what a presidential candidate's doing," Biden said after quoting a General Motors statement calling the Romney ad "campaign politics at its cynical worst."
Responding to Biden's criticism, Romney adviser Kevin Madden said "We've got an ad out that we believe makes the case for why Gov. Romney would be stronger for the auto industry and why the auto industry's an important part of a strong economy. They've got an ad that they're using to make their case to the public, and we'll leave that with voters."
In Sarasota, Biden claimed that auto workers in Ohio have been frightened about losing their jobs because of the ad, calling United Auto Workers representatives to ask if its allegations are true.
"Folks, the president's job is not to show confusion," he said. "It's to plant the seeds of confidence."
The vice president's remarks to a crowd of over a thousand came 1100 miles away from the rust belt cities where the Romney ad is on the air, emphasizing how strongly the Obama team hopes to push back against the commercial and make its claims into a character issue for Romney. President Barack Obama is not on the campaign trail today, traveling in New Jersey with GOP governor Chris Christie to survey damage from SuperStorm Sandy.

I could go on--there are others that I can come up with but that I have to even think along these lines is....well, the smart people get it.
Politics and campaigns should be about truth, action plans and vision...not the lies, fibs and fables that these and other a-hole Republi-tards have turned their campaigning and their message in to for the uninformed public's consumption.
That anyone in today's environment who can fog a mirror is undecided is in and of it self, astounding!
If one is so uninformed given all that's out there about the candidates on both sides related to their history, background, accomplishments, failures, etc. that can be researched and judged without the hysteria of false charges, half-truths and out-right lies, then this kind of slash and smash and trash political advertising geared to the lowest common denominator must be working and that is BEYOND comprehension

IT'S A BIG FAT AD WITH A BIG FAT LIE IN IT! . . . But the point is, Robme and his little dog and pony show just plain don't care whether anything is true or not . . . he's willing to do ANYTHING to get his ass in the oval office! And once in, the wheels would be set in motion to manipulate the 'system' and make himself and his wealthy friends even wealthier . . . and if nearly half of the country is buying into Robme's deceit, lies and outrageous, disgusting behavior, it sends a very clear message about what these "teapublicans" -- or whatever the hell they've morphed into these days -- represent. Judging by what they say and do, any half-way intelligent, mentally-sane person can only come to the conclusion that these people truly have glaring mental health issues.
The teapublicans? And I guess the Democrat Party has morphed into the George Washington Party - What me tell a lie!

Barrack Obama - Take your pick of some of the beauties he's come up with!
The ad says: Obama took GM and Chrysler into bankruptcy.... (TRUE) and sold Chrysler to Italians.... (TRUE) who are going to build Jeeps in China.... (TRUE) soooooooooo, where exactly is the lie?

Can't talk about the economy so the Libs have, lies, war on women, romnesia, a video in Benhgazi, and of course Biden who's not sure what state he's in except the state of confusion, what a joke!
My forecast, for what it is worth. Time will prove that everything Romney is saying about Chrysler and the auto industry is correct. Chrysler/Fiat is already at work to move part of Jeep production to Italy. In time, I would not be at all surprised to see part or all of Jeep assembly to move to China. Note that Romney didn't say all Jeeps. If they start building any in China, his statement will be correct.
Cracks me up when the libs call Romney a liar. The Obama and Biden team is currently running the distorted Ampad ad. Those workers put themselves out of business due to their work rules. And the company was NOT profitable.
