One week left: Ryan stops by traditionally blue Minnesota

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan visited an unexpected state just one week before Election Day: the traditionally Democratic-leaning Minnesota.

Although the Romney campaign was taking a break from campaigning because Superstorm Sandy – which wreaked havoc Monday along the Eastern seaboard, Ryan made two “stops” in the Twin Cities – an apparent nod that the GOP is trying to put Minnesota in play.

The Wisconsin congressman first landed at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Tuesday afternoon, walking down the steps past the press with his wife Janna.

This quick photo opportunity for locals came as Ryan headed just across the border into Wisconsin to thank volunteers at the Hudson, Wis. Victory Center for gathering donations for hurricane victims.

“I just want to thank you all for coming together and helping put this effort together. This kind of effort is happening at victory centers around the country,” Ryan told the crowd standing amongst nonperishable foods.

Noting the mere seven days before the election, Ryan added: “I also want to thank you for helping us in this election, for working at these victory centers.”

Alex Moe / NBC News

Paul Ryan stopped by the Hudson, Wis. Victory Center on Tuesday.

Ryan, joined by his wife, brother and RNC Chairman Reince Priebus among others, stopped to grab dinner in downtown St. Paul before boarding a flight to fly back to Wisconsin – giving the press another opportunity to capture the GOP VP nominee in the state of Minnesota which awards 10 electoral votes.

"Hi guys, how are you doing?" Ryan said as he walked into O'Gara's Bar and Grill and took a seat next to his wife and other dinner guests.

President Barack Obama won Minnesota in 2008, but Romney and Ryan have not paid much attention to the state until the past several days. Many believe the GOP ticket may be trying to make inroads in Minnesota and Pennsylvania at the last minute to help Romney’s path to victory on Nov. 6.

The Democrats dispatched former President Bill Clinton to Minnesota on Tuesday – possibly acknowledging that the state could be in play next week.

"I have worked very hard in this election and I'm not running for anything," Clinton said Tuesday at the McNamara Alumni Center at the University of Minnesota, according to Minnesota Public Radio. "And that's because, notwithstanding what Mr. Romney and Mr. Ryan say, I am more enthusiastic about President Barack Obama than when I campaigned for him four years ago."

So why are they calling it a victory center? What the hell is that all about?

Maybe it's the old "Mission Accomplished" bravado?

But seriously, beyond the rallies disguised as hurricane donation efforts, Romney refuses to answer reporters questions about whether he (Romney) would really end FEMA. Well of course he'd end it!

Remember paying your doctor with chickens? These plutocrats are peddling privatization of everything so they can profit from it. Just because the private sector does the work, it doesn't mean the work isn't still being paid for with your tax dollars.

And leaving everything to bankrupt states is the same as ending assistance, and they dang well know it. Remember, we're supposed to pay for all this by having bake sales at our local churches. Greedy self-serving 1%ers -- that's all Romney/Ryan are -- they aren't in it for you.

  • They're hoping to change the subject that Romney/Ryan budgets cuts FEMA funding. In fact Romney would rather the states or private sector to handle Disasters. Can you imagine NY coming up with 40 Billion on it's own?

  • Romney is remarkably unqualified to be President. He has failed in EVERY test a Presidential Candidate must pass. But most notably he is simply a Dishonest man without Honor.

  • 1. Hides his years at Bain
  • 2. Won't tell AMERICANS how he will pay for a 5 trillion tax cut.
  • 3. Hides his taxes and his MONEY in offshore accounts.

Maybe Lyin' Ryan was looking for some already-cleaned pots to wash for a photo opp.

or maybe he thinks he & Myth Robme are so delusional they think they have a chance to win in Minn! LOL!

Nate Silver's 538 blog says . . .

President Obama will will Minn - 97.3% likely

President Obama also has an 86% chance of taking Lyin' Ryan's home state of Wisc;

Also,

The President's chances of winning in OH are 73% . . .

and his chances of winning in VA: 58% . . .

Colo: 56% . . . .

Nev: 80% . . .

and he has a 73% liklihood of winning 295 Electoral College votes . . .

and a 69% chance of winning the popular vote.

http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/

Nate Silver is accurate because he aggregates ALL the polls, and is more interested in being CORRECT, than he is interested in any candidate winning. His reputation depends on ACCURACY.

Just as in 1972, we are seeing a President and his minions engage in the classic 3D defense (Deny, Denigrate, Demand proof) when caught in the lie that will bring him down. Just as in 1972 it will not work! Deny that anything happened. Denigrate the person posting the facts. Demand proof of every little detail to drown the discussion in minutiae. It will not work!

The tide of evidence is rising and sooner or later it will drown Obama just as Nixon was drowned early in his second term.

I pray Obama doesn't win reelection. At least Nixon had the grace to resign. I don't think Obama does.

All of Obama's failures get the same left wing makeovers "it wasn't his fault" "the Republicans were mean to him" "Bush did it first" "he never really said he would do that" "here is something he accomplished" ... Scrape away all the excuses and the facts are still there:

On every single day of Bush's presidency, there were more people going to their jobs than on any day of Obama's presidency.

Obama has been a fumbling amateur in foreign policy, reversing himself repeatedly, supporting our enemies and disrespecting our friends.

The list of his failures is long, but what will bring him down is the fact that Obama knew it was a terrorist attack on our consulate. Had he told the truth at the time, he would have been admitting that he had committed a huge error in judgment not to grant the consulate's security request on the anniversary of 9/11. To prevent that, Obama deliberately mischaracterized the attack as a “spontaneous demonstration.” And now his lie and his incompetence are exposed!

He may thrash around like a hooked catfish. He may even be reelected. But he will eventually be brought to justice.

Listen my friends
And you will see,
What King Obama
Has done to you and me.

On January twentieth
Two thousand and nine,
He took control
We started our decline
.

With record unemployment
And people forlorn,
Our tax money spent
Poverty the Norm.

With free phones for some
And EBT cards too,
The lazy ones come
Freebies from me and you.

On November the sixth
Two thousand and twelve,
You must go vote
Or were going to hell.

The country deserves better
Than the King and Moochele
,America must survive
And ring the liberty bell.

Ambassador Stevens believed strongly that an attack was likely, and made multiple unambiguous requests for additional security in Libya.

In June 2012, the Consulate in Benghazi, Libya was damaged by an improvised explosive device. Stevens reported to his superiors that an Islamist group (Ansar al-Shariah?) had claimed credit for the attack. Shortly after that a British Embassy convoy in Benghazi was also attacked. And again, Ambassador Stevens requested more security forces for Benghazi.

Karen Keshap and Shawn P. Crowley, State Department employees, as well as Eric Nordstrom the State Department's Regional Security Officer, all made multiple complaints about the inadequate security in Benghazi. Crowley, had even apologized in an email for "being a broken record" on the subject of inadequate security in Benghazi.

In response to all these requests, the Obama Administration refused to increase security at the US Consulate in Benghazi, at all.

On the morning of September 11, Ambassador Stevens signed a three-page cable, labeled "sensitive," in which he noted "growing problems with security" in Benghazi. As before, he was ignored.

As a direct result of Obama's arrogance and incompetence, four Americans died! And now he is engaged in the most frantic coverup since Watergate.

And now, instead of repeating the Axelrod designed response about being affronted by even being asked the questions- Obama will respond that he is busy restraining power lines, sweeping sand, and otherwise engaging in hurricane recovery efforts- so he cannot, possibly, answer questions about his lies about Bwnghazi.

True story- today, Obama got himself invited to a conference call with mayors, governors, and utility executives. Obama's contribution?

He told the utility executives that he wanted them to "prioritize" getting the power back on.

Now, I'm sure the utility executives were just stunned at his brilliance- why didn't they think of that! Get the power back on- what a great idea!

Meanwhile, thousands of travelers stuck at Newark Airport are going to be stuck yet another day- my flight got cancelled because Obama wants to see the aftermath of the hurricane in person.

Funny, is it not- he wasn't in such a rush to see the aftermath of Isaac. Then again, it wasn't that close to the election. Too bad I will not be at the terminal. If given the chance, I'd ask why he sent his minions out to lie about a video being to blame for the Libya attacks; when he told me he was "affronted", I'd say, "thank you for sharing. Now, answer the question".

Layton,

With every post you prove exactly why the vast majority of Americans loath people like you. Telling someone to shut up is just another form being a bully. It's really a shame that you can't see that. Perhaps you were raised in an abusive household where your parents told you to "shut up" and you thought that was the norm in society. I do feel sad for you because you walk around with blinders on and foolishly believe every word the President says.

And I've had loved ones and friends that have died for this country and know all too well the sacrifices they made for our country. It's people like you that like to hide behind the flag and hide behind those very rights like some spoiled child thinking that you are "entitled" to them, rather than for fighting (and dying) for them.

Perhaps someday you will actually grow up, and appreciate those that sacrificed their lives. It's too bad that the families of the four that died in Libya couldn't say that they died for a nobel cause, only that they died because their Commander in Chief let them down...

O'Gara's Bar and Grill is surrounded by mom and pop shops and businesses. Aside from the Starbucks across the street there isn't a corporate chain in site, just small businesses who have struggled the past four years. But who indeed did 'build that'.

To those who insist on believing the polls and Nate Silvers' Electoral Projections.

The Obama campaign responded to Republican claims that romeny was doing well in the swing states.

The Obama campaign correctly states that the early vote in Obama won counties are up and some republican counties up but not so much. This is correct if you view thing form 30,000 feet.

Republicans came back with analysis based on precincts that showed the Republican precincts were up and the democrat dominated precincts are lower, just as polls have been showing for months that the democrats are not as energized as the republicans.

Then yesterday, Gallup reports that Romney is up 52 - 46 in the early vote. Reports from a number of states are coming in showing that not only are Republicans are ahead of the democrats in early voting, but the number of democrats and republicans now expected to be about equal on election day.

From Florida, the word is that Romney is winning the I-4 Corridor that Obama took in 2008? He who controls I-4 wins Florida.

In Ohio, almost all the polls agree that Romney is up by 19 points amoung independents. In the last 12 years, the winner of Ohio won the independent votes, even if they only got 5% more than their opponent.

I looked at the Quinnipiac polls today. Still using 2008 numbers and then some in favor of the Democrats.

The question I needed answered was would the polling companies moderate so they could say they are accurate, or will they continue down the current path. Quinnipiac answered the question.

Before getting to the event, Romney said it was about the relief effort and he wouldn't make any political comments while he was there - that's why he refused to answer political questions.

Can't you people take a break from politics for at least a day when there is a disaster? Both candidates took a break - it's sad that many here and in the press continue to politicize everything in life - even the deaths and misfortunes of others.

All Ryan did was stop and grab a bite to eat in St. Paul. There were no scheduled appearances, Minnesota is not all of the sudden clamoring to the Romney/Ryan Campaign. He was on his way to Hudson, WI. probably because there was nowhere for him to campaign in the battleground states because of Sandy. If a person needs to be a Hudson, WI, you fly into Mpls/St. Paul.

As far as the Packer fan sentiment. Why would anyone expect different from fans that pay $250 a share for the priviledge of shoveling snow from the bleachers of Lambaugh Field for free. Believing the Green Bay Packers organization doesn't make any money, while they wear thier $100 Aaron Rodgers jersey and sip out of the Green Bay Packer Beer Mug.

I'm just relating what I saw, no exaggeration either. That's not to say there were no Obama supporters there, they just weren't displaying it if they were.

Secondly, to place all the blame on Bush for the 2008 financial crisis shows your lac of understanding of how we got into that situation, your unquestioning loyalty to the left, and willingness to believe anything they say as gospel. Democrats had as big, even bigger role in causing the problems we're trying to recover from now.

GT----Youre darn right I take this seriously. It is serious! Obama watched the Benghazi attack for seven hours while Tyrone Woods plead for authorization to go in and help the Ambassador. Tyrone lost his life doing what he knew to be right. Wheres the Commander n Chief?

PS. The lady that died from cancer had her own medical insurance. Why didnt she use it?

usunderattack Why did Obama let Chris Stevens die?

The New York Times reported in an Oct. 14 article, “Most of the arms shipped at the behest of Saudi Arabia and Qatar to supply Syrian rebel groups fighting the government of Bashar Assad are going to hard-line Islamic jihadists, and not the more secular opposition groups that the West wants to bolster.”

Stevens may have been in Benghazi meeting with Turkish Consul General Ali Sait Akin to oversee, negotiate, or inspect an ongoing covert CIA operation to supply weapons to the counter-Assad fighters.

Obama has always shown great enthusiasm for supporting all the Muslim Brotherhood “uprisings” in Egypt, Libya and now Syria. I think that the information in the consulate and in Chris Stevens' head posed a significant political danger to Obama. This may have been information on kickbacks to Obama's numbered bank accounts, or simply his ideological preference for Muslim jihad.

In short, it seems President Obama has been engaged in gun-walking on a massive scale. The effect has been to equip America’s enemies to wage jihad not only against regimes it once claimed were our friends, but inevitably against us and our allies as well. That would explain his administration’s desperate and now failing bid to mislead the voters through the serial lies, stonewalling, and deflections.

Following the attack on the US Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi, administration spokespersons, including White House spokesman Jay Carney, maintained for two weeks that the attacks likely were a spontaneous protest against an anti-Muslim film. They offered no evidence to support that contention. Not the slightest shred of evidence indicated a spontaneous protest The attack started in late evening and went on to 4 in the morning. Not a single report or photograph indicated protestors with the usual crude signs. Just well armed terrorists with heavy weapons.

And yet Obama and his Administration continued to insist it was a spontaneous protest against an anti-Muslim film. They fabricated that story out of thin air just to cover up the fact that Obama had made a catastrophic error so serious that it borders on treason.

Time for truth-1708502 - And yet conflicting reports are still coming in.

Yep, but the reports only conflict with Obama's lies. They are entirely consistent with the information available on Sept 11, 2012. For example: On October 17 The New York Times reported that "Libyan authorities have singled out Ahmed Abu Khattala, a leader of the Benghazi-based Islamist group Ansar al-Shariah, or "Partisans of Islamic Law," as a commander in the attack." This confirmed the unclassified email that Obama had received just two hours into the attack on September 11.

Lots of conjecture, very few facts at this point. In the meantime, the "timeline" is being completed by the paranoid conspiracy theorists who've whipped themselves into a lather of righteous indignation. @Kannin and JK1963, the Benghazi attack is being investigated by a bi-partisan committee and the truth will come out when all of the facts are known. It takes time to assemble information, and to jump the gun (like you guys seem to want to do) does a disservice to ALL involved, from our Ambassador up to and including the American people.

You guys are being played by Murdoch and the Fox News clowns. There was and is no "cover-up" and we are all interested in the FACTS. Both SOS Clinton and President Obama have accepted blame for how the information was interpreted and are clearly interested in the TRUTH.

No-one is trying to gloss over Benghazi, but you'll notice that we're also allowing the investigation to proceed without pressure or prejudice. This is what reasonable people do.

LIST OF OBAMA LIES 2012 - UPDATED -
CROP FAILURE (OBAMA LIES WHEN HE SAYS PAUL RYAN IS BLOCKING DROUGHT RELIEF)

    Source:NationalReview

SO IT BEGINS: OBAMA LIES, CLAIMS ROMNEY-RYAN WILL RAISE YOUR TAXES

    Source: Breitbart.com, August 12, 2012

Barack Obama has been proven by more than one fact checking organization to be a habitual liar.

“I am told that Governor Romney’s new running mate, Paul Ryan, might be around Iowa the next few days,” he said while in Council Bluffs, Iowa. “He is one of the leaders of Congress standing in the way. So if you happen to see Congressman Ryan, tell him how important this farm bill is to Iowa and our rural communities.”

House passed bill on August 2, 2012 (Paul Ryan voted yes)

The American automobile industry has come roaring back…So now I want to say what we did with the auto industry, we can do it in manufacturing across America. Let’s make sure advanced, high-tech manufacturing jobs take root here, not in China. And that means supporting investment here. Governor Romney … invested in companies that were called ‘pioneers’ of outsourcing. I don’t want to outsource. I want to insource.
Forbes- Outsourcer-In-Chief: Obama Of General Motors

    “You Didn’t Build that”
    A few examples

While writing the previous piece where Washington Post’s The Fact Checker gave Barack Obama four Pinocchios on a statement he made on April 30, 2012, I clicked over to PolitiFact and took a look at the Obama File they keep where they have three pages of statements made by Barack Obama that were rated false statements.

Obama- If the Supreme Court throws out the federal health care law, it “would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
    (PolitiFact- Slim majority, not unprecedented)

Obama- “For the first time since 1990, American manufacturers are creating new jobs.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False

Obama- “Preventive care … saves money, for families, for businesses, for government, for everybody.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(PolitiFact- Wrong in 2009, and wrong today)

Obama- “Thirty million Americans, including a lot of people in Florida, are going to be able to get healthcare next year because of that law.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False

Obama- “I made a bunch of these promises during the campaign. … We’ve got about 60 percent done in three years.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(PolitiFact- “In the Works” does not equal “done”)

Obama Admin.- Under President Barack Obama, the United States has “doubled our exports.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False

Obama Admin.- The president’s proposed budget “will help reduce the deficit by $400 billion over the next decade to the lowest level since Dwight Eisenhower was president.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(PolitiFact-A mangled reference to a prior talking point)

Obama- Under the White House’s budget proposal, “we will not be adding more to the national debt” by the middle of the decade.
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(PolitiFact-Revenue would equal outlays, but he ignores growing interest on the debt)

Obama- Twelve judges have thrown out legal challenges to the health care law because they rejected “the notion that the health care law was unconstitutional.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(PolitiFact-Score two to two on judges’ decisions on constitionality)

Obama- “I didn’t raise taxes once.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
    (PolitiFact-We’ve tracked a few increases)

Obama- When President Franklin D. Roosevelt started Social Security, “it only affected widows and orphans,” and when Medicare began, “it was a small program.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(PolitiFact-A grain of truth in the big picture, far off on the details)

Obama- The Bush administration had been “giving (auto companies) billions of dollars and just asking nothing in return.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False

Obama- “The vast majority of the money I got was from small donors all across the country.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(PolitiFact-Big donors bankrolled much of Obama’s campaign)

Obama- “We’ve excluded lobbyists from policymaking jobs.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
    (PolitiFact-We found at least four)

Obama- When Obama was interviewed by American reporters in Asia, “Not one of them asked me about Asia. Not one of them asked me about the economy.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
    (PolitiFact-More than one did)

Obama- Insurers delayed an Illinois man’s treatment, “and he died because of it.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(Insurer’s decision was reversed and man lived three more years)

Obama- Health reform will “give every American the same opportunity” to buy health insurance the way members of Congress do.
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False

    Obama- Preventive care “saves money.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(PolitiFact-Covering preventive care for everyone is a net cost)

Obama- (No earmarks in spending bill)
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False

That was only from page one of Obama’s false statement PolitiFact files.

(Note- Skipped one from page one because while PolitiFact rated it as false it was because Obama misspoke and quoted the wrong time frame, so I don’t count that as an outright lie to the American people, just sloppy.)

Page two is here and page three is here.

Noteworthy- Those three pages do not include the five instances where Obama was ruled worse than “false” but were called “pants on fire” false.

The another three pages of statements that are listed as “mostly false” on the Truth-O-Meter.

Mostly false statements by Obama or his administration- Page one here, page two here and page three here.

All those listed above are from one fact checking organization, PolitiFact, which leaves one to wonder how many lies Obama has told in total since organizations often fact check different statements.

Barack Obama has been proven by more than one fact checking organization to be a habitual liar.

I think it is fun to watch a network like MSNBC panic as their DNS party dies. The clowns on MSNBC TV really crack me up for several reasons.

All of their network news shows have crappy ratings

They are a total biased mouth pieces for the DNC. They do not even try to pretend to have a unbiased panel during debates etc.

They Fume and trash Fox News non-stop which cracks me up because O'reillys show alone has more viewers than Crazy Chris Mathews, Maddow, Fuming Lawrence combined. It must be nice to vent your craziness to the 3 drug induced viewers you have that stumble across your channel.

It will be fun on election night to watch them lose their minds as their party goes down in flames

My question is how long until the folks in MSNBC management realize their network is losing money and viewers. Its ratings are a joke, and many people I know boycott sponsors of their news shows. It’s never going to get better ratings wise as long as MSNBC continues to staff their shows with liberal hate filled DNC zealots. I am an independent and I can't stand listening to Chris, Maddow, Lawrence. It is one thing to support your party but it is quite another to try and spin everyone in the repubican party as Adolf Hitler. I have never heard MSNBC say anything positive about anyone out side the DNC. I am sorry but I dont watch TV to listen to this type of hate crap.

You cannot allow propaganda to be interrupted with the truth. They did at one time allow comments on their web site but could not stand everyone telling them they were wrong. So much for "fair and balanced".

The economic engine that is the American economy is going to create 12 million new jobs over the course of the next four years no matter who's elected President. That's right. According to two highly respected, independent economic analysis firms, Moody's Analytics and Macroeconomic Advisors, the economy is going to create 12 million new jobs over the course of the next four years no matter who's elected president.

Also, Here's a link to Bill Clinton speaking at the University of Minnesota yesterday:

Starts at about 1 hour, 5 minutes. Connections a little clunky, but a terrific speech.

Everyone is ignoring the 2010 election cycle, when it was so obvious that the voters were turning sour on Democrats. I think many people are going to be surprised at the states that Romney/Ryan win. The media, the polls and wishful thinking don't decide elections, people do and it may be a landslide in favor of Romney/Ryan next week.

Alot has happened since 2010 the republicans incongress promised jobs, jobs, jobs and did not create a single one or pass any legislation that would. They blocked every single thing offered by obama. His policies were never given the chance to pass or fail. we will never know whether they would have helped or not. The republicans hurt the economy much more than they helped. Dems in the senate were guilty of the same behavior. They all need to be held accountable. It maybe a landslide for Obama also. romney and ryan are full of BULLcrap.

Beware of the "silent majority" that Reagen identified, before they showed up to vote for him. The polls and the media didn't see them coming then and they didn't see them coming in 2010. Hopeful thinking and full support from the Media and Polls doesn't win actual races, unless a majority of voters are informed zombies, that can't think for themselves. I think we are heading into a landslide next week, that the pollsters and media don't see coming, because they have been drinking their own bathwater so long, they totally ignore the advantages their opponents have. Their only resort is to attack all conservative candidates personally and that should obvious to everyone.

Biggest storm in history since the start of record keeping.

Mother Nature & Al Gore VS Koch's propaganda machine. Who do you believe now?

I know still no proof until trees start growing at the south pole.

Out of Al Gores facts during the movie, he is documented as being wrong about 35 things like mosquitoes "climbing to higher altitudes".

I like Al Gore, but he went a little over the deep end in An Inconvenient Truth.

I am a conservative, not religious, believe in global warming, evolution, and that sometimes abortion is cruel and wrong, and in the early stages, it is sometimes for the best.

My point is, Al was pretty goofy about all that hoopla though.

During a radio interview on Oct 26, Obama said that in the immediate wake of the attack he issued several directives, including one to “make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to.”

“There appears to be a discrepancy between your directive and the actions taken by the Department of Defense. As we are painfully aware, despite the fact that the military had resources in the area, the military did not deploy any assets to secure U.S. personnel in Benghazi during the hours the consulate and the annex were under attack,” the HASC chairman wrote.

“I find it implausible that the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the commander of U.S. Africa Command and the commander of U.S. European Command would have ignored a direct order from the commander in chief,” the letter states.

It asks Obama to shed light on “to whom did you issue this first directive and how was this directive communicated to the military and other agencies — verbally or in writing?” The HASC chairman also wants to know if Obama on that day directed the military to “move available assets into Libya” and if he gave military commanders authority to “take any and all necessary measures to secure U.S. personnel, including specifically the authority to enter Libyan airspace.”

I believe that Obama's claim that he "issued several directives, including one to “make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to” will turn out to be one more lie in a long series of lies throughout his presidency.

All you libs screaming about wanting to privatize FEMA are nuts. Do you honestly think that FEMA has a staff of thousands of people sitting on their hands just waiting for a disaster to react to? HELL NO! They have a plethora of private contractors in the waiting to respond. You know, private businesses that drop what they may be doing to go and get paid for going where FEMA tells them to. The utility crews that come from all over the nation, PAID to come. Debris cleanup, paid to come. and on and on. It is practically private business as it is. FEMA is just the coordinating body. Nothing more. So get off of it already.

Romney and Ryan look like such salivating door-to-door used car salemen campaigning so feverishly at this time of tragedy.

It was hard to even watch Romney at his so called "relief rally",...right where he wanted to campaign and try to gain support yesterday anyhow,....he sounded like such an insincere douche bag,...."AWKWARD",...

..."ah yes",.."and I see have purchased some groceries in this time of need",.....his eyes all hollow with the exhaustion of perpetual guilt and emptiness. The man is not sincere. Look into his eyes.

If there was anything positive at all that has come from this tragedy,...it is that we all can see the value of supporting each other in the time of need.

Now we will begin to again appreciate what it means to be,...and have,...and NEED a neighbor.

The entire GOP platform is about cutting ties and letting the "winners" distance themselves from the "losers". They apparently seem to think that everyone in need (the 47%) is in need because of their own negligence.

How about now ? Is that the case ? Are these people in need because they have been neglectful ?

Is this even America anymore ? ...or is it the United States of the corporate "winners",...and those other unnecessary people without an MBA ??...or is the United States of "I got mine,...you get yours" ??

This coming Tuesday, November 6th 2012,...get out and vote for "We the people",....vote to keep America together,...vote Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

There was hardly any goods on the tables and the truck was fairly empty. A pallet of water doesn't make a truck load! His rallies are pretty much empty rooms, haven't you notice the cameras don't scan the crowds? Romney is done. Christie is driving in the last nails of his coffin as now. It's a complete turn around from earlier when Christie was hammering the Mayor of Atlantic City (a Democrat) yesterday. Something I thought was totally uncalled for, unjustified and not true! I think its a smoke screen because he knows if he continues to slam the President he may not get the help he needs from FEMA. Only time will tell. Romney on the other hand said he has found a place for the aid he has helped put together and believe it or not it won't be going to an Independent Governor in New York. I guess this is how Romney plans on reaching across the isle?

Why doesn't Ryan or more importantly Romney go to Wisconsin and talk to the 170+ people that are about to lose there jobs to China. They could tell the how they would like them to donate to the people hurt by Sandy.

    Why
are so many so surprised that Myth Romney stood in front of 67 million voters
and lied thru his teeth??? That is the GOP way!!!

    George
    H. W. Bush "Read my lips no new taxes"!!!

    George
    W. Bush "Republicans will be compassionate conservatives"???

    Mitt
Romney "I never said I was going to give the rich an additional 10 percent
    off on their taxes"&&&

    I'm
starting to think I like the idea of Romney winning. And when he gives he and
his rich buddies more tax breaks and takes this country's economy over the edge
of that cliff that President Obama has worked so hard to pull us back from with
nothing but treasonous opposition from the idiots on the right, I am going to
    love it.

    Then
when the right pulls out the second trick in their three trick pony act, I
might actually weep for you idiots when he sends your kids into war so he and
his rich buddies can get even richer while your kids come home in boxes.

    And
the third trick is to deregulate everything, banks, insurance companies,
utility companies and its "bend over middle class"!!!

    ROMNEY
    RYAN 2012 BRING IT ON
