VIDEO: What new polls mean for the paths to 270

New polls in Ohio and Virginia could shake up President Barack Obama's and Mitt Romney's paths to 270 electoral votes.

And here are three likely paths to 270. Plus, a possible tie that could keep the election going until January:

So what will have the greatest impact on this race? Willard's desperation play of lying about Jeep jobs being moved to China or Willard saying that it was immoral for the federal government to fund FEMA?

BUt totally not that the CIA was ordered to stand down, that the embassy had a laser sight in place [thanks to the seal], and that they had at least one gun ship in the area.

Yep - none of that, of the lies about a video, or the deaths, will have an impact, right?

Of course the polls have now shifted heavily, including Wisc. and Ohio,

But goodness yes - let's all get a close look at FEMA. You all want to talk about extreme waste, it is your poster child.

FALSE information about Chrysler/Jeep.

Chrysler keeps telling Romney they are NOT sending Jeep overseas. They have called Romney's ads and stump speeches about Jeep "fantasies".

It is a major problem that Romney does not acknowledge his lies. So much so, that folks are wondering if Romney has a serious condition that prevents him from facing facts and reality.

Romney is called out continuously, but it has become obvious that he has a disconnect issue.

But, see, the difference is Mr. Romney would have Ohio believe that Jeep is shipping ALL operations to China and this is simply not the case.

It cracks me up everyone that says we should have went in, opened fire in a city of a million people, saved the day and then the movie credits roll and they all lived happily ever after. What would have happened to the fledgling Pro-US government in Libya? Instead of a few thousand demonstrating outside our embassy in Cairo, we would have had a million. Instead of pro-US demonstrations with tens of thousands in Benghazi, there would be anti US demonstrations of hundreds of thousands. Meanwhile, the Libyans who voted for a secular government would be thrown under the bus. While all this is happening, the Republicans would be yelling "wag the dog."

Elliot, Chrysler is looking at re-opening their Chrysler plant in China. They also will be adding capacity for their Jeep lines in the US. Willard said that the entire assembly line in Toledo would be shipped to China.

That is great Al - that the CIA had orders not to help, despite having additional people and weapons in the area.

Aslo great to see your concern for 'fledgling Pro-Us governments.' Me, I am more concerned that we had citizens in harm's way, the ability to help them, yet chose to do nothing.

Odd how come we just can't figure out who gave that order, right? Not lik,e O could walk into the State Dept. and pull the file and know in all of 2 minutes.

Or could it be they already know exactly who did and why?

Da Noid, Even though corrected by Chrysler, Romney keeps on with this mountain of lies.

CHRYSLER: "Jeep has NO intention of shifting production of its Jeep models out of North America to China."

CHRYSLER: "U.S. Jeep assembly lines will continue to stay in operation. A careful and unbiased reading of the Bloomberg take would have saved unnecessary fantasies and extravagant comments."

Instead of apologizing for the false claim, Romney's new television ad (video below) repeats Romney's false claim and uses a tiny part of the Bloomberg News story: "plan to to return Jeep output to China."

However, Chrysler's use of the word "output" referred to SELLING Jeeps to China (not building Jeeps in China).

FACT: Chrysler-Jeep is plannng to build more Jeeps in OHIO and add 2,000 more jobs. (MSNBC)

Yes, Eliot, Chrysler is thinking about building a Jeep plant in China, building cars to sell to the Chinese. However, Romney lied his ass off (again) when he said that Jeep was going to MOVE production to China. Romney got it so ridiculously wrong that Chrysler issued a statement correcting Romney's falsehoods. Chrysler isn't closing any US plants and has added 1100 workers in Detroit.

So, much like Toyota builds cars in the US to sell in the US, US companies have plants in other countries to serve the markets in other countries.

Do you think we have a thriving auto export market here? Do you see car carriers leaving the US loaded with Jeeps and Fords? Of course not!

Romney not only lies like a rug, he clearly thinks he can get away with it.

WRONG. CHRYSLER-JEEP HAS NO PLANS TO SEND JOBS OVERSEAS.

(Please refer to direct Chrysler quote above at 1#10.)

Chrysler keeps telling everyone they are planning to SELL more jeeps to China, NOT move jobs or factories to China/overseas.

Chrysler is planning to build more jeeps in Ohio, creating about 2,000 jobs for Ohio.

Chrysler keeps telling Romney about his "fantasies". But Romney keeps on with his lies.

Spanky, why are you so sure that it was the President that gave the order not to fire, not the general or CIA officer who has responsibility for that part of the world? It really was not that tough a call to make. You don't have AC-130's opening fire in a city of a million people in a friendly country that we are not at war with willy nilly. Anyone who advocates doing so is felony stupid! Not only would you inflame the locals, who are very pro US, you would strengthen the hand of the radical islamists at the expense of the newly elected secular pro-US government there. Of course, we already know that you are not above using the deaths of four Americans to advance your political agenda and the truth is not an issue for you. Have you ever recanted your sick fantasy that Ambassador Stevens was sodomized and had his body dragged through the streets of Benghazi yet?

PS Willard one week ago went on record as supporting Obama's policies in Libya, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

WRONG: Chrysler currently builds all Jeep SUV models at plants in Michigan, Illinois and Ohio. Manley referred to adding Jeep production sites rather than shifting output from North America to China.

“That he would take an article that just described a global expansion and not a shift in jobs and use it to try to get Ohio votes, or to scare people into voting for him, is just another example of why you can’t trust this man,” former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm said on a conference call today.

Romney has often struggled with facts about the auto industry. Though he now claims the auto bailout was his idea, his plan to let the private sector finance the bankruptcies of Chrysler and General Motors was “reckless” and “pure fantasy,” according to auto industry insiders. By some estimates, it could have cost more than 1 million American jobs.

The choice should be "CLEAR" now to the undecided voters. MYTH is a chameleon and a LIAR who does not deserve the Oval Office. If anyone should be in China, it should be MYTH since that is where his businesses are. How bout those taxes? MYTH prove you're no committing felonies. Where did you vote. Did you commit but voter and evasion?

Churches take Blacks to vote

That - along with the opportunity to re-elect Obama, who many in the black community feel would not have been so stonewalled by Republicans in Congress if he were white - is what Thompson (Preacher) is counting on in his push for early voting.

From Reuters

President Barack Obama holds a narrow lead of 2 percentage points over Republican challenger Mitt Romney in Reuters/Ipsos poll results released on Saturday, leaving the race effectively tied as fewer voters say they are likely to change their minds.

Nearly one in five - 18 percent - said they had already cast their ballots. Among those, Obama led 55 percent to 41 percent for Romney. That result is not considered predictive because more Democrats vote early than Republicans.

The survey was conducted October 23-27. It sampled 1,665 registered voters and 1,291 likely voters.

Never underestimate the power to the people. For God's sake give power to the people

What an appropriate irony as hurricane Sandy sweeps in over our nation. The massive damage that Barrack Hussein has caused our great nation is comparable to a hurricanes destructive effect.

As the embarrassment of the first Barrack Hussein term finally comes to an end it is only fitting that a hurricane crashes into the East coast punctuating the atrocity this administration has been.

Massive debt, joblessness, home losses and loss of wealth for American households. Staggering poverty levels, food stamp increases and disability claims. A once vibrant economy brought to its knees by incompetence and inexperience.

A protracted assault on being successful in America with a class warfare and envy meme has divided our nation like never before. Demonizing wealth in the nation that proudly promoted it for over 232 years has created an unhealthy disconnect. Promoting mediocrity because we all know it’s easier to bring the masses down than it is to elevate them.

Racial division unseen since the Civil Rights era has been the overused argument by the Liberal/Progressive cabal as it realizes its social and economic justice nonsense is unsustainable. A government expansion gone rampant to the point of using a cartoon character, the "Life of Julia", to disembody the American Dream.

A societal cancer called "political correctness" has removed any possible argument or discourse for fear of hurting someone’s feelings. What began as a crusade of civility has devolved into a conflict and even censorship. Hyphenation and avoidance have replaced pride and debate.

A once unified nation has been reduced to a monolithic bureaucracy that is determined to legislate every aspect of our lives. America was not built on the policies of government elitists, it was built on the shoulders of industry and created wealth, prosperity and a standard of living never seen before.

Once the hurricane named Sandy is gone and the embarrassment known as Barrack Hussein is removed from power in 9 days, the long process of healing and rebuilding can begin.

As this anonymous quote describes the effort that will be needed we real Americans realize our job is far from over:

"The danger to America is not Barack Hussein Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the Prince of the Fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their President."

Our proud and resilient Republic will rise from the ashes of the Obama tragedy just as Americans will from hurricane Sandy.

American exceptionalism will triumph over Barrack Husseins vision of American mediocrity.

Funny how you guys latch on to this Hawaii mansion rumor, while ignoring Romney's La Jolla compound, the one that he wanted to quadruple in size...then no, it was to double it in size. That's the same one he wanted to put the car elevator in. The same house for which Mitt has a lobbyist to deal with the city.

Then there's the mansion in NH, but to be fair, he did put his 9500sf home in Deer Valley, plus his 6400sf estate in Boston on the market. There was some talk about getting a smaller estate in Boston. Something about "downsizing."

Paul Krugman is calling out National Review Online for their attempted takedown of Nate Silver for biased methods and somehow cooking the books. Krugman writes:

This is, of course, reminiscent of the attack on the Bureau of Labor Statistics — not to mention the attacks on climate science and much more. On the right, apparently, there is no such thing as an objective calculation. Everything must have a political motive.

I just saw President Obama on Morning Joe, this morning, answering questions from limp noodle Mika B., on the Ambassador's death in Libya. He took responsibility for the tragedy and said there would be an investigation to determine what could have been done to prevent it. This President takes more responsibility for the problems that happen on his watch than George W. Bush did in two terms.
