ZANESVILLE, OH – With a mere 10 days before Election Day, Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan kicked off a two-day bus tour in Ohio, arguably the biggest battleground state of all.
GOP vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan is focusing his campaign efforts on Ohio as the Buckeye State appears to be critical to winning the 2012 presidential race. NBC's Ron Mott reports.
"As Ohio goes, so goes America. I think you know that," Ryan told the crowd inside Zanesville High School at his second stop on the ‘Victory In Ohio’ Bus Tour.
Related: Obama campaign: Romney momentum narrative not grounded in fact
Mitt Romney’s running mate is helping illustrate the GOP ticket’s final argument going into Election Day on his 400-mile tour of Ohio.
"As you look at the closing arguments, we’re talking about what it’s going to take to get people back to work. We’re talking about the kind of leadership that Mitt Romney has provided throughout his life, at running at problems to solve problems,” Ryan said shortly after the “Momentum” web video played on screens in the gymnasium. “There have been hundreds of millions of dollars of negative advertising from the spring on trying to disqualify Mitt Romney. But what we learned at the debates is that this is a man of integrity, this is a man of principle, this is a man who knows how to create jobs, this is a man we would be proud to call our president.
Henry Gomez of the Cleveland Plain Dealer discusses the strategies of both the Romney and Obama campaigns in the critical battleground state of Ohio.
The seven-term Wisconsin congressman, who attended college at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, also tried to make a personal appeal to Ohioans on a rainy Saturday in Big 10 Country.
"We come from Big 10 country," Ryan said to applause at Gradall Industries in New Philadelphia, Ohio. "I'm just happy the Badgers and Buckeyes play after the election."
The latest TIME poll shows President Barack Obama with a 5-point lead in the Buckeye State, ahead of Romney 49 percent to 44 percent.
Both the Romney and Obama camps have been campaigning in the state frequently plus being up on the airwaves with ads in order to try and secure Ohio’s 18 electoral votes. Obama beat Sen. John McCain in Ohio during the 2008 election by 4 percent points.
Speaking before nearly 1,000 people at his first stop of the day in New Philadelphia, Ryan tried to fire up the crowd in the homestretch of the campaign: “The debate is going to last for about 10 more days. The choice is yours on November the sixth. Think about November the seventh. Think about how you will feel the next morning when you wake up and turn on the TV….Are we gonna wait four more years before we have real change or are we just gonna wait ten days? We can turn this around.”
Ryan has three more events Saturday in Circleville, Yellow Springs and Sabina. He has another three events Sunday. As a result of the impending weather conditions on the East Coast, Romney will join Ryan for the final event of the bus tour tomorrow evening at the fairgrounds in Marion, Ohio.

GrandMa Beware...Halloween is coming, Ryan (Poor Lying) Ryan is coming to town, and throw you (grandMa) under his Bus, taking your mediCare away.
Be Very Scared
P.S.: do you know that the Ryan budget intends to cut funding for embassy security.
Paul Ryan, don't forget to tell the good folks of Ohio how you voted during the Bush years. These are very important facts and they have a right to know. Will Ryan be addressing the Mourdock rape statement or the Sununu/Colin Powell statement?
Funny isn't it how the GOP at one point wanted Colin Powell to run for the presidency. And funny how Sununu was thrown out of the Bush Admin. and now he has become Romney's top surrogate? Along with this guy Ryan? Who played a role in the mess we created for ourselves.
For me so far the most memorable image I have of this campaign is when President Obama was in Cleveland, with his Air Force aircraft parked behind him. And the president with his hoarse voice, speaking to the crowd.
A Kodak moment.
I's nice to watch you liberals squirm.

THE BEST & MOST ACCURATE POLLING DATA:
http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/
Because Nate Silver aggregates ALL the polls, & Nate says . . . .
President Obama has a 76% chance of winning OH . . . .
~ Of votes already cast in OH early voting: 60% DEM, only 30% Repug.
Nationally: President Obama has a 74.4% chance of winning 295+ Electoral College votes
The Myth & The Liar have NEVER been ahead in OH, not once since the polling started; whatever momentum Robme had, is now gone, and the president is surging nationally.
Thanks to the crooked guys in OH who tried to win by voter suppression & intimidation tricks, voters have been more motivated than ever before to cast their votes. As of Wednesday, MORE votes had been cast in early voting than in all of early voting in 2008 (~28,000)
A VOTE FOR O & JOE IS A VOTE AGAINST CITIZENS'S UNITED! don't let your vote be BOUGHT - prove, with your vote, that the White House cannot be bought by Koch/Adelson/Trump/ corporate greed!
God Bless the good & wise voters of OH! you are helping to save this country from GREED!
O & Joe - 4 more!!! :-)
tonybeeerm, elliot-3020456 is sleep-walking in nude...don't wake him/her up. Too much shame and rude-awakening.
Pat,
What use is Ryan for the "30%" ? (30% is Ryan's denigrating description)
Overlord Romney won't even come out in support of Equal Pay for Women!
What use is Romney/Ryan for the "47%"?
Their plans for women are abhorrent:
Romney says absolutely, he will repeal Roe v Wade, and appoint Justices to do same.
Ryan is on exactly the same page as Mourdoch and Akin on women's reproductive rights.
These guys want to take Mothers, wives and daughters back decades & decades.
VOTE NO TO THE ROMNEYRYAN/GOP BULLY BRIGADE.
I guess it takes old folks a little longer to get fired up.
Elliot
I'm far from squirming. All I need to do to get a little peace of mind is to check out Nate Silver's analysis of the Presidential race. He now has odds of Obama winning at 3 to 1. It's not 100% certain, but I feel comfortable with those odds.
I'd like to hear that Paul Ryan, the Republican budget wunderkind, talk more about his budget. I'm sure that would change some Ohioans minds about how to vote.
More votes for Obama is always a good thing.
Obama/Biden 2012
This guy is not only a hypocrite, he's a big spender when it comes to earmarks.
KJNC, Nate also predicts there is very very little chance of President Obama losing the popular vote. But this will become the new talking point. From what we can tell, Romney is popular in the south by a wide margin. But that's it.
NC & VA are going to be interesting. And Florida. I'm reading that GOTV is strong down there with the Obama supporters.
Another Tall Tale Destroyed
Mitt Romney at a rally in Defiance, Ohio, home to a General Motors powertrain plant:
"I saw a story today that one of the great manufacturers in this state Jeep — now owned by the Italians — is thinking of moving all production to China,"
http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20121026/POLITICS01/210260402/1121/auto0101/Romney--Chrysler-may-move-Jeep-production-to-China
** Chrysler, responding to presidential nominee Mitt Romney's remark that Jeep was "thinking of" moving to China, says Jeep production will stay in North America.
Ranieri said Chrysler "has no intention of shifting production of its Jeep models out of North America to China," but is "reviewing the opportunities to return Jeep output to China for the world's largest auto market."
He said U.S. Jeep assembly lines will remain in operation.
http://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2012/10/26/Chrysler-Jeep-jobs-to-stay-in-N-America/UPI-50451351276246/
I just can't figure out why Mitt is would want to scare the people in Ohio {snark off}
Pat Boston is correct. This is a Kodak moment for Ohio and the Midwest.
Ohio, Remember who had your back in early 2009 when you were reeling with over 11% unemployment and many of the industries had to let many employees and loose business to China and other countries. It was President Obama who not only bailed out the auto industry the right way (short of government takeover and just injection of government funds would not have worked for GM and that is a fact). Remember it's just not the GM, Chrysler and GMAC that Obama's government bailed out. US Government in 2009 put in restructuring experts on board along with ex-CEO from private company in charge (instead of micro-managing GM and GMAC) to guide GM back to health. Still GM has a long way to go.
If GM, GMAC, and Chrysler have not been rescued, the entire auto ancillary industries (Delphi and others) would have gone down too. This rescue not only saved 1.2 million jobs, it saved entire Midwest from collapsing. These are facts. Obama has taken further steps to increase incentives for bringing manufacturing jobs back to this country (his tax proposals call for favorable treatment to them) and many have come roaring back to the US. Look at where Belgium, UK, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, France and other car producing countries are now. They are in the bottom, except for Germany. Even Russia and Brazil are having problems in manufacturing except in energy industry. So, Obama had the right policies that rescued Midwest and has the right policy to bring more jobs back. It is impossible for any President to fix them overnight, because these problems are structural and it needs lot of cooperation between private sector, government and educational institutions (which provide trained manpower for the new era).
So, it is the right thing for the Ohioans to return the favor by extending Obama's contract for four more years. Do not listen to Paul Ryan or Romney, for they both are opportunists and will say or do anything to get your vote and when elected, they will turn their back on you. Those are facts. So, decide for yourself come November 6th.
Backhouse, in just about every election during the last few weeks of the campaign, the nation begins to move steadily towards one candidate.
We know where they're moving. And have been for quite some time now.
Romney/Ryan. Horrific for most Americans. Just horrific. There isn't a thing in their backgrounds to make us feel comfortable with them leading the country, either economically or on foreign policy. The rest of the world saw it long long ago.
Ryan as our vice president? One step away from the presidency? He was alway over-rated. A true figment of the media's imagination.
Obama always knew Ryan's policies were bad for our country. And there was a reason why Obama doesn't personally like/respect Romney, whereas McCain he did like.
Ryan said shortly after the “Momentum” web video played on screens in the gymnasium. “There have been hundreds of millions of dollars of negative advertising from the spring on trying to disqualify Mitt Romney.
WASHINGTON POST: The Republican Governors Association illegally funneled $500,000 into the coffers of their candidate in Montana, a judge just ruled. "If Republicans can use the money...they will have a good chance to steal a governor's seat from Democrats."
Question: Will Ryan answer questions to the reporters?
Answer: Probably not: MYTH won’t talk to any of the media unless it’s Fox Noise just like “Failin Palin” and “Obtuse Sharon Angle did. See the pattern there? And Paul Ryan was sent to Alabama. The event is closed to the public.

Pat, Slick Romney has no plans.
We didn't know what he was running for in the Primaries. Today, what we know is he stands for all the 0.01%-er positions. Wow, this guy is the BIGGEST liar, ever.
Do you remember, after denouncing his own previous position on gays a few years ago, Romney was challenged about it: Romney responded 'Hey- you just say anything to whomever is standing in front of you - it's easy!'
This is Romney's A to Z strategy, and the GOP/Koch/Norquist/Adelson strategy. Romney's debates are jam-packed with LIES and reversals from start to finish. We DO know Romney is running on the GWB failed policies on steroids, that brought down the U.S. and global economies.
Is THAT ALL?
And Paul Ryan is on a level of extremism, not seen in a century.
To vote for them is to be terrorized, helpless, and unprotected in short order.
They have Zero Truth. We get it. RomneyRyan have to be called out & KICKED OUT.
Hahaha, well that will be the most controlled three-hour tour. No reporters allowed, only rabid supporters can come in. Certainly NO questions about "forcible" rape, or Medicare vouchers, or how the math in his despicable budget doesn't add up.
BTW, has anyone else noticed that Romney appears to be hiding health problems? At the last debate when he was bending over to shake people's hand, Ann become VERY protective, holding him around the waist and then cutting it short and leading him off the stage. At the minimum I suspect back problems, but his light schedule throughout the campaign is suspicious to me.
Romney is a fraud in so many ways there isn't enough time or room to list it all.
Tea Sucks -- Ohio has a memory that goes back before the president did the auto bail-out. These folks are already aware of what happened when Kasich and Republicans took over and tried to bust the unions, and tried to cut back voting access, etc.
Now they have the dirty money trying to unseat Sherrod Brown who has done an awesome job, and replace him with a radical punk Josh Mandel who wants to make abortion illegal -- Along with 11 other Republican candidates running for Congress. Virginia isn't likely to forget the ultra-sound crap either.
Ohio, Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney are worse than snake oil salesman. They would say anything to get your vote and don't fall for it. Senator Rob Portman, Romney surrogate is Bush 43's architect - Budget Director - in turning budget surplus into deficit. So, they are all in this together to undo all the good things that has happened to Ohio in the past three years and turn the clock back to the dark ages. So, don't believe these snake oil salesmen. Never, Ohio!!!!

Warning to liberals: This video may cause your carefully constructed bubble to collapse which could result in you having to cope with reality.
Side effects of coping with reality could result in:
1) Feeling forced to seek real employment
2) an inexplicable desire to be productive and useful in society
3) the inability to excuse your failures with rationalization
4) A odd feeling that Pres. Obama is not the savior of this nation
If these are things you wish to avoid, then make sure you maintain your selective viewing of facts and information, because some information can bring upon these sensations.
The issue at hand is is not where we have been it is where are we going.
Not one president has delivered all they have promised, and many have even broke them. Obama did not lie, what he did was try. We have been mired in the mud for quite sometime, now the rubber has finally hit the road and I see progress on the horizon.
Vote Romney and you will give big corporations more tax breaks. Vote Romney and we will lose the respect we have regained from the world in the past four years. Vote Romney and your health care will be much harder to attain. Vote Romney and you will turn back the hands of time. Romney is not for the little guy.
Umm no he is not,he is not a man of the people I do not care how many times you say it, still in this article he speaks but says nothing of how they will do anything. Just feel good promises with no backbone.
The coal permits that Obama stopped(that Romney chastised him for) would have contaminated a whole communities water system , with "top mountain drilling"or "removal", Obama trumped big business for community . Romney would trump community for big business. He has before.
I would rather give Obama a second chance with the outlook I see now, than take a chance with Romney , and Lyin Ryan, and lose the momentum we have now and start over. The economy is improving, terrorist leaders are being taken out at a steady fast rate. Democracy is taking hold in the ME. World leaders respect and take Obama seriously. We are the number one manufacturer in the world,Mitt was wrong we still lead China by 13%.
This will show you what some unbiased experts think of his tax plan. This is all substance no "feel good" specious words, the the Romney/Ryan ticket have became known for.

The way to go is forward. Even at our worst, we are still the best. This noone can deny.
FORWARD
I cannot believe the lies!! I work for Chrysler and part of my job is to go to two of the Jeep plants, one in Toledo we call TNAP (Toledo North Assembly Plant) and the other is JNAP (Jefferson North Assembly Plant).
Those plants are both in the process of rabid expansion, and they cannot build them damn Jeeps fast enough. They build the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee models, and are due to commence building the Maserati luxury SUV there soon.
These plants are each adding 100's upon hundreds of thousands of square footage to accommodate expansion, new models coming online and plant modernization.
The Chinese demand everything we sell in China,...be built in China,...what a concept! They don't allow Mitt Romney's in their country. China knows better. Romney may build there, but not outsource from China.
Only the USA is stupid enough to offshore their own work. That isn't tolerated in the PRC.
Thank you for bringing this truth to us Dennis. I'm living proof Romney's full of bull$h!t.
The right wing nut jobs will abolish Halloween!
How DARE those kids ask someone else for free candy!
Talk about a HAND OUT! lol
WHY it's socialism... I tell ya.... evil socialism...
Ah Oh, seems Ryan has become such a hinderance to the Romney campaign, he has been relegated to the back of the bus.
Hey Feisty! did you see President Obama on Leno??? so funny! something like this (paraphrasing):
Leno: I hear the kids trick-or-treating last year got fruit at the White House?
Obama: yeah, Michele does like to encourage kids to eat healthy! But, this is an election year, so . . . candy for everybody! <audience howls with laughter!>
O: . . . and if you come to the WH on Halloween, from OHIO, you get a Hershey bar THIIIISSS BIIIGG <holds his hands ~2 feet apart . . . and the audience goes wild>
It was so great seeing him relaxed and happy . . . and funny!
(have you noticed lately - if you get past the bags under his eyes and the wild & desperate look in his eyes - it looks to me like Robme's Just-For-Men dye-job looks like it's kind of . . . . melting? LOL! the carefully streaked white strands against the too-dark-black bad-dye job . . . LOL, you'd think he could afford better hair care, but I hear he's pretty cheap with a dime)
O & JOE - 4 more!!!
KJ,
I did catch him on Leno!
He's a natural... ;o)
to elliot-302 And to watch you zionist B@$T@RD$ BURN.
Hey, Phantom? I'll be keeping an eye out for you.
Jesus loves you! Everybody else thinks you're an ignorant &*%$#@!
While Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney are going around the country, giving speeches, lying to the United States of America; President Obama is appearing on virtually every national news station (FOX is an entertainment station, but they have not invited him) answering any questions asked.
Romney and Ryan won't answer real reporters questions, because they need to have their lies in place before the question is asked.
John Doe-2241225 -- What about Pat Tillman's father? Puleeze, stop parroting the rightwing squawking points -- It's a bunch of bullshift.
dirp -- Correct. They won't even go on FAUX Noise.
Not to mention it's direct link to Satan. These kids should be home reading the Bible and being taught creationism in public schools. No sex until marriage. And then only to procreate. Pleasure sex is a sin. Rape is god's will. The Lord is coming and he ain't screaming "Oh yea!"
At least Ryan has a plan, because Obama's flyer shows nothing new for the next four years.
We can not sustain the spending. Call it throw Grandma under the bus, even though that is blatantly not true and you know it. The kids won't eat, although with the obesity epidemic that doesn't appear to be an issue. Buy Fluke's birth control pill, they are $9 bucks for God's sake. Or better yet a one night stand with Obama, to transform from a girl to a woman, talk about how far we have fallen in morality.
Beyond lacking in leadership and class, Obama needs to become a talk show host. He spends more time on entertainment tv than he does in the oval office. Really disappointing.
The nation is broke, people. Broke. Something has to give, there will be cuts, and we need jobs. Spend, spend, spend is not a plan.
Romney/Ryan or any other name you call them are still better than a late night talk show guest.
I hope the media drills down on the health question. I posted a long time ago how odd it is that Romney does not participate in "sport." After that post I noticed even on the jet skis it was Ann driving. The only thing we've seen is Mitt driving his power boat, which requires no physical capability. The last time he was seen on a bicycle was when he served his Mormon mission in France as a young man. And the rightwing attacked Kerry for windsurfing. If it isn't health problems, then perhaps Romney is an alien or robot after all...
Romney's so-called 59-point plan is really only one point -- The rich will get richer, and the rest of Americans will get poorer. Man, you really need to get out of the rightwing Echo Chamber more often.
pigotry
NEWS FLASH!!! OBAMA has already signed into LAW a CUT in Embassy Security!! The Bill passed the House with 149 Democrat yea votes and 50 Democrat Yea votes in the Senate.
Isn't this the group that chants, "Let Jesus come inside you"?
Slodon,
Pulling things out of your a$$ doesn't make them true
I've already voted for Obama, I no longer care what Ryan is doing.....................
slodon -- Let me guess, you got that information from the same rightwing blogs that Romney gets his information about Jeep, or perhaps FreeRepublic or an Email sent to you from your Uncle Ed? The Teapublicans are the ones who are slashing budgets per the response from Carney (and many others):
http://www.politico.com/politico44/2012/10/carney-finds-gop-worries-about-diplomatic-security-138319.html
Keep "eating the corn seed" with your idiotic "starve the beast" austerity, but do not deflect blame when the unintended consequences come home to roost.
RedDevPS -- Yes, it's time to have a Come to Jesus Meeting, and cast the radical rightwingers out to wander in the desert for a few generations until all their ignorance and hate is gone.
Between the two of them, romney/ryan, they almost make me sick. I never would have voted for them anyway because they are not Democrat. So I guess, I'm one of the 47%. On top of that I'm receiving my social security (which I paid into for 43 years) and a small pension. It's the lies that they tell with a straight face that I can't stomach anymore. I just can't understand why people don't see through them.
The one thing I find laugh out loud funny is all the righty sock puppets calling the Obama campaign "desperate." Desperate is telling voters in Ohio that the entire Jeep assemble line will be shipped to China in a flagrant bald faced lie. Next time you call someone desperate Willard, take a good look in the mirror because then you will really see a desperate man!
The correct story was that Chrysler was thinking about restoring production of the Jeep in China.
The fear of course, is that eventually all production will in China. Although this is currently unlikely, other products such as GE's CFL production ended up in China as incandescent plants were shut down.
For the travellers. Mitt is a shan kowl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5626WzsfMw
True Patriot
Republicans cut the portion of the budget that contains embassy security. Security for the Embassies was far less than 1/2 of that budget portion. Republicans did not specify what to cut in that section, just the amount that needed cut. The Obama Administration is the ones that decided what to cut, just like they did in the Defense budget.
DB Akron -- Provide your source regarding security cuts, and I'll be happy to fisk it.
As for the Bloomberg article about Jeep, it was about Chrysler's growth such that they were reviewing expansion in China, in other words additions in both places -- Not shipping American jobs to China. It's fear mongering from sources that are not credible, and Romney is only one of many Republicans who do this (Santorum, etc.). But Romney is a well-educated man who should know better.
Liberal spam posters are in full panic mode. Its almost funny to see.
My post above saved before I could finish -- "does" not do...
Anywho, the list of Republican politicians that do not have a clue what a credible source is would take too long to type. We as a nation now need fact-checkers as a result.
Gallup, who had a distinct pro-Democratic bias for 2004 & 2008, has Romney ahead by 5% Nationally now, and Rasmussen, who had the best overall average record for 2004 & 2008 (average error only 1%) has Romney ahead by 4% Nationally, and Romney is now ahead by 6% (51% Romney vs 45% Obama) in the all-important 'Swing States'. These are the professional pollsters - the others are 'cherry picked' pollsters by the Liberal media that have a terrible pro-Democratic record.
It's 'panic time' for the Obama campaign - he might have to start a phony war (Wag the Dog).
Aside from Nate Silver (look at his methodology), Quinnipiac has had the best predictive record in the past.
Quinnipiac's most recent projections were made using the most recent polls, "while also giving consideration to the historical trends of each state, other polls released over the last two weeks, and any historical bias of any pollster. Special emphasis is given to how the state voted in 2008.
In analyzing Arizona, for example, President Obama is leading in the most recent poll, but Obama lost the state in 2008 and is generally preforming worse in 2012 than 2008. Finally, almost every other poll has Romney ahead in Arizona. Given all these factors, Arizona is still given to Romney despite the most recent poll. It is also worth noting that many of the most recent polls come from Rasmussen Reports, an organization that has given Republican candidates a misleading three-to-five point edge in their polls as recently as 2010."
Using Arizona again as an example, since Carmona is such a strong candidate for the Senate, more Dems may get out to vote than usual. And this combined with Hispanics, women, and possibly the large senior population who want to protect Medicare -- Who knows? But focusing on daily snapshots without taking into account outliers with bias (Rasmussen and PPP) is useless.
Election fraud, such as voter suppression (including trashing Democrat registration forms) is another matter in which polling is made meaningless. And a VERY sad commentary for our Republic form of democracy.
True Patriot, your sources are democrat registered Journalists and generally are not any better.
Quinnipiac has had the best predictive record in the past.
NOOOOOOT! I follow who is accurate and who is not.
Quinnipiac who had Florida +9 Obama last month when all the polls at that time showed Obama up by only 2 or 3 AND nobody had a poll with an Obama lead over in more than the last year.
There poll numbers this year have consistantly give a democrat +3 beyond the average of polls.
@ elliot-3020456, post 1.3
As to the Republican Party do nothing to help things get any better for the last 4 years?
To the contrary. It is humorous witnessing you right wing ding a lings manufacture a fake sense of Liberal "panic" while trying to grope for some artificially-produced rhetorical advantage.
It's all you people have.
We prefer reality to Pubbie fables and their anti-Obama mantric prayer circles.

Great! The Mormon Phony now sends out his little extremist ideolog and his former lobbyist wife who owe EVERYTHING they have to their government paychecks to lie to the American people about how fiscally responsible he is. You can't make this stuff up.
Ryan:
"Hi guys, we voted to destroy the auto industry in Ohio, sell your companies, raid your pensions and "harvest the money."
"Now be good sports and run out and vote for us,....mmmmkay?"
The Tour of Lies continues, GOPisextinct!
How can Mitt voice opposition to auto bailout in Ohio and Detroit. 'Let Detroit go bankrupt,' Mitt was proud to say. For God's sake, Mitt grew up in Michigan, and he decided that his community and people in his community should go down...so that Mitt can stick to his dogMa, throwing grandMa under the bus, off the train.
Indeed Chilled.
You'd think by now the Buckeyes would have thrown them out of the state.
Round here we got big banner signs that say" $16 trillion in debt and Obama wants to come back for more?" Romney/Ryan
They are blaming Obama for the debt!
They've got that 'projection' thing down pat, thanks to Rove!
....Since they answer no questions, their mantra should be "Ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies"!
Hello, Sidney, do you like scary movies...If your grandma's name is Sidney, and Mitt - the Herman Muster - is commin in his bus on Halloween...you got a scary movie.
...cont. from #2.5 -
I mean..it's a horror movie because Mitt and Ryan want to take medicare away from grandma or future grandma (next-generation grandma-that is).
Hey, chilled...it's more like GOP's version of Tour de France, pure fraud...GOPIsExtinct
Reagan tripled the national debt while he was President. He did this with huge tax cuts for the rich in his stimulus tax cuts. His budget director later called these tax cuts for the rich a "Trojan Horse" for trickle down economics which was highly unpopular at the time (his VP Bush called it "Voodoo Economics" in 1980 primary campaign). Reagan also used huge increases in defense spending as a stimulus as well as infrastructure spending.
In 4th quarter 2008, our economy shrank at an -8.5% rate. Job losses in first quarter 2009 were over 2 million jobs. Bush tried a small stimulus of $120 billion in Spring 2008, but it was too small to stop the recession. The Fed also cut interest rates 4% in 2008 and that did not work either. Bush did a bank bailout of $700 billion in Oct 2008, but while it saved many banks, it also did not slow down the worsening Recession.
Obama's stimulus of $787 billion stopped the Recession in 6 months and speeded the recovery to almost 4% growth in 2010. However, when the stimulus ran out, the economy slowed down which is why he requested a second smaller stimulus with infrastructure spending and increased job training. Republicans blocked it to make sure economic growth would be slow heading into 2012 election.
Our budget deficits would be cut in half with continued growth in 3-4% range through increased tax revenues and lower costs associated with unemployed. Cuts in other government spending can only work in a time of lower unemployment since laid off workers need to find other jobs quickly or we have increased costs and lower tax revenues from their being unemployed.
Obama has a smart plan for growth and lower budget deficits. We would be much farther along in solving these problems of unemployment and budget deficits if Republicans had not sought to make Obama fail.
OBAMA 2012....for a fairer, better America
...and Willard knows all about France, after hangin' over there for years. Wonder why he never talks about the number of frenchmen/women he managed to convert!
I can tell that all these posters don't really know what happened with the auto bailout. What Romney wanted GM and Chrysler to do was go through a managed bankruptcy. This doesn't mean the companies go out of business but a managed and controlled reorganization. With all the billions of government bailout, both companies went managed bankruptcy in late 2009. So what did the American people get for their billions? What the bailout really did was preserve the large union contracts with the legacy costs. Down the road, these costs greatly handicap both the profitability and competitiveness. Most industry analysts expect the same issues which led to the troubles of 2007 and 2008 to again cause financial trouble for all three automakers in the next decade. All the bailout did was pay back the unions for their support in the 2008 election
Ray W.: what Romney and most Republicans was for the private banking sector to take charge of the automobile industry bailout. GM and Chrysler approached the banks and private equity funds (including Romney's Bain Capitol) and they REFUSED to get involved.
There was NO capital market to finance a "managed bankruptcy." The only available source to keep the companies afloat was the US Treasury. No private sources would do it. Capitol markets had frozen. The only reason Ford did not have to go through it as well was because they had locked in a five year loan in the months before the meltdown took place at the end of 2008.
The US auto industry was facing liquidation. Complete failure of GM and Chrysler would have sent ripples throughout the world. Many of the same supplies to GM and Chrysler would not be able to continue to produce, which would affect the rest of the industry.
Some people are upset because the Union pension funds were given priority over other creditors and shareholders. Under federal law, the pension guarantee trust corp would have had to make all of the pension payments good, after all other funds were taken from the company. The pensions were a priority creditor already. The reorganizations were not a long drawn out affair where everyone gets something and many people lost out. Getting the companies operating was a higher priority.
While Ryan and Romney are trying to lie there way into the White House, President Obama is trying to move the economy forward.
The question is, who do you really trust ?
...at some point people, the nation may have another civil war. The separation is getting large and vast, Obama sure did part the seas.
No-one is entitled to a job. Guess, all of those complaining things aren't fair, will be starting their own companies, when the corporations, that are hated so much, move to Canada or elsewhere.
Romney/Ryan for Real Leadership
Eddie Munster on a bus doing P90X..........that and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee.
IT-At least Ryan has a plan, because Obama's flyer shows nothing new for the next four years.
Anybody can have a "plan",but what does that plan do to the country. Romney's and Ryan's plan is a disaster for our country.Their tax cut plan will destroy our country. Their social ideas will tear apart the safety net that millions of the poor and seniors survival depends on. Their education plan will take our country even further to the bottom in relation to the world. Their plan would take us back to the worst policies of the Bush years.
So,I'd use Paul Ryan's own words here,"The choice is yours on November the sixth. Think about November the seventh. Think about how you will feel the next morning when you wake up and turn on the TV." Think about it,do you want to return to the Bush disaster. The choice is yours, help to save America from the Romney/Ryan disaster. Vote for President Obama on Nov 6th,and save our country from those two.
dirp
GM was refused because there were no federal loan guarrentees. When Chrysler was bankrupt in 1979, the federal government gave loan guarrentees, not loans. This is what should have been done, and would have been done, if only the Unions had agreed to share equally in reducing the liabilities that GM had accumulated back in December 2008.
BTW, analysts believe that GM will be bankrupt anywhere from June 2013 - June 2014. The point of bankruptcy is to restructure contracts, costs, streamline labor and facilites to form a working business model. What happened is that GM's Union wages, pension funding, and healthcare costs were not adequately addressed. The Obama administration also dictated how much GM put into alternative energy programs like hybrids and Volts, that building these and trying to develop too many puts an additional strain on GM's ability to compete.
Uncle Bob:
Actually I say that fondly as I have two.
Tax increases will halt any interest to take risks, social policies are in massive jeopardy now and without a plan will collapse if they remain the same with Obama (the dollars have been spent elsewhere), in regard to education, sadly, we couldn't get much closer to the bottom on the global front. So far Obama has followed Bush's war policies, how can you remain true blue? None of your points match.
I have thought long and hard about November 6th, and I would like to take this nation back from socialists who want to redistribute what I worked hard for, change the insane agenda's that my children face every day in the classroom, give me choice when it comes to healthcare (my doc is quitting if Obamacare is passed), and most importantly return fire in the belly to those who want to chase the American dream.
Romney/Ryan our only hope to save your Medicare and give me a choice in my health care!
royw
You forgot to mention that when Obama took Gm and others away from the bankruptcy court that he also destroyed the parts suppliers and support pensions.
the rest of your points are good and good to see someone has the true story behind the auto bailout.
Romney has pointed out that Gm would have been healthier and the parts suppliers pensions would not have been gutted if they would have gone through a managed bankruptcy. Gm now is having trouble in some spots
Hey, GrandMa, do you like horror movies. Halloween is here - and a vulture is coming, taking your mediCare away - according to his plan, your grand daughter will never have the same Medicare benefits any more...future generations will be worse off..inconsistent with the American Dream.
Hello, Sidney. Do you like scary movies? if you grandma's name happens to be ..sidney.
Romney/Ryan........the real scary movie for America
The wheels on the bus go round and round...
R&R are running around in circles, bumping into their former records, history of flip flops and word salad speeches.
A little too late.....
Obama will win reelection and Congress will have to get their act together and work with our president for the benefit of the common good.
I certainly hope so, so we don't have listen all of these lies anymore. I sick and tired of them. There are a bunch ignorant people supporting these two shisters.R/R suck big time
I pray you are right Northstar, although this one is going to be a real squeaker. I cannot believe this one is this close.
Half of America wants to elect a public parasite, and a vulture capitalist over a hard-working, self-made man from humble beginnings. Romney was born on third base with a silver spoon.
I just don't get it, but I see now how it was done in 1935 Germany.
...and that's what's really frightening!
@ GOP-IS-EXTINCT -
I understand your concerns! here is what helps me sleep well at night:
http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/
Because Nate Silver aggregates ALL the polls, & Nate says . . . .
President Obama has a 76% chance of winning OH . . . .
~ Of votes already cast in OH early voting: 60% DEM, only 30% Repug.
Nationally: President Obama has a 74.4% chance of winning 295+ Electoral College votes
And as Pat-Boston reminded us, President O is also winning the popular vote :-)
The Myth & The Liar have NEVER been ahead in OH, not once since the polling started; whatever momentum Robme had, is now gone, and the president is surging nationally.
Thanks to the crooked guys in OH who tried to win by voter suppression & intimidation tricks, voters have been more motivated than ever before to cast their votes. As of Wednesday, MORE votes had been cast in early voting than in all of early voting in 2008 (~28,000)
O & Joe - 4 more!!! :-)
gopisexstinct.
You don't get it because you have not looked at the backgrounds of the candidates- their views, ideologies, or accomplishments.
ROMNEY/RYAN 2012
John,
I'm (still) a Chrysler employee thanks to Bush and Obama. I can't re-elect Bush.
I know the specifics, and this country fought fascism before over in Europe. There is a reason why we combated this evil. Republicanism is a disease that can be conquered in our lifetimes.
I have valid reasons for voting to re-elect my President, Barack Obama.
I am writing this from my house instead of a garbage dumpster because of him. That is reason enough, even if I stopped right there.
He gave me back my job, so I'll give him back his.
Just returning the favor man.
OBAMA/BIDEN next month
Oh,.....and how could I forget:..
GO TIGERS!!! BEAT FRISCO!!!
Tiger fans,....lemme' hear ya!!
Absolutely, GO TIGERS. I have never had any desire to root for west coast teams. Tigers/Baltimore/Cleveland/Cubs, etc., I can't help but root for them.
Here's hoping the Tigers come back.
I can't help but root for them.
I originally wrote - I can't help but vote for them. Seriously. LoL.
Hell yeah!!!! Comerica will be a rockin' tonight. Temps should be in the upper 30's. Perfect baseball weather, lol.
Oh my...
I gotta go with the West Coast Giants.....Love Frisco.....
..then back to the East with the other Giants .....NY style
I put Victor Cruz way ahead of Dez Bryant.........
Thanks Pat. I remember some time back how you relayed that you used to listen to Ernie Harwell on warm summer nights back in the day.
Ol' Stormin' Norman Cash, Al Kaline, Mickey Lolich, Willie Horton, Mickey Stanley...
Great players at Michigan and Trumbull just like your old ballpark with the big Green Monster and the Yaz. The last Triple Crown winner.
Oh,....and how could I forget Denny? Still a bad boy.
Willie Horton. I remember as a teenager I was sitting in front row seats along the third base side, and Willie Horton left his sunglasses on the field at Fenway. I hopped over the little wall, but then hopped back. I so so wanted those sunglasses!!!
What a great team the Tigers were. Al Kaline. My oh my. And who could ever forget Denny McLain?
I remember a game against the Red Sox in Fenway. I think Dave Roeszma came close to clipping Carney Lansford. Lansford headed out to the mound to register a complaint with Roeszma, and Lance Parrish stood up and ran in front of Lansford putting his hand in the center of Lansford's chest.
He said, "You don't want to go out there." Lansford supposedly gulped and said, "You're right I guess I don't." He went back to the box, and resumed batting.
Later pictures panned back and zoomed out showed that Lansford's two feet were dangling off the ground, and Parrish was holding him up with one non-gloved hand.
Hefty fellow that Parrish. Lucky # 13.
Certainly not his parole officer,......nor certain pension holders......an early exponent of the Romney method Denny McClain was.
I would like to. When I was a kid, he was my hero. And then he became a thug and criminal who preyed on working class people. I have no respect for this fat tub of lard anymore. Prison's a good place for him.
Poor Denny McLain. What a mess he made of such a stunning career.
The season before that, in 1967, Jim Lonborg was my pitching hero. So polite, so handsome, and he brought it home for us that final weekend against the Twins. I'll never forget it.
And then the next year, it was all Tigers with Denny McLain's tremendous season.
Great baseball back then. I'm old enough to have remembered seeing the truly greats of the 1950's and 1960's as I became a fan in '67. Mays and Mantle and Bob Gibson in particular. Williams I didn't see play. Nor Koufax.
Interesting story about Joe DiMaggio. When he died, evidently no Yankee teammates attended his funeral? It's what he wanted. I wonder if that's true.
Anyway, here's hoping Tigers can come back like the Giants did.
Bob Gibson!!! I loved watching that guy pitch. You dough in on him he would come in high and tight and rip your face off.
I was born in Ohio and lived there for 32 years. We still have family there, and yes they are very, very tired of Romney/Ryan.Them being there so much more than Obama is actually having the opposite affect there. Some of their neighbors were undecided and now have gone to Obama. They say that anyone that feels they have to be here every day,not only is desperate but it's like they are begging for our votes. They also stated that depending on which day you see them, they change their stance on various issues as well.
Maria,
At least they are there to be with the voters and not features on Pimp with a Limp. Priorities.
Romney/Ryan 2012
Always the sanest review of the weeks political events...
http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/politics/july-dec12/shieldsbrooks_10-26.html
It seems to me that in order to have any hope of winning Ohio, the Destructive Duo are going to have to convince 50.001% of the voters in that state that their latest narrative is the true, factual, correct and sure-'nuff, by-God, that's-our-story-and-we're-stickin'-to-it TRUTH! Romney actually told Obama how to save the American auto industry, and Obama took Romney's wise, selfless advice (based on his many years as a
corporate assassinsucessful businessman), but now that mean old stupidhead President won't give Romney the credit he deserves for all the Ohio jobs he saved! What a big creep- guy, I am SO sure!Unfortunately, my travels around this wonderfully diverse yet sadly predictable republic of ours, combined with what I read on this page, have drilled into me an unforgettable lesson: That no matter where you go in the United States, you're never too far away from a concentration of mean, stupid bigots- and a lot of them are going to vote this year.
Don't think I'm picking on Ohio; I was born there, and still have quite a number of kinfolk there. I've met enlightened, educated cosmopolitans in rural Texas, and vicious racists in San Francisco and Seattle. And for anybody who wants to take me to task for "dissing America", I say: Don't beat up on me for reporting it- go talk to the haters and see if you can convince them to change their ways.
Folks, this election is really about whether we're even going to have a functioning democracy by 2020. Putting Romney in the White House will give Pope Grover Norquist the puppet he's publicly said he wants, to finish his work of "drowning the government in a bathtub." I realize that a lot of you think less government power equals more freedom. Friends, in the words of Samuel Jackson, you need to wake the f*** up. Less government means more corporate control. Corporations can't be voted out. They don't have to even pretend to care about what's best for you and your children, don't want to pay you any more than they can get away with, and won't hesitate to see you crippled, sickened, maimed and killed in carload lots if they believe it will improve their bottom line by even a few cents. Think it's just liberal hysteria? Think modern corporations would never act that way because they're scared of bad publicity? Big corporations control the publicity! If you think I'm Chicken Littling, look up 'dead peasant's insurance'- it'll just take you a minute- and ask yourself: If Wal-Mart is doing that today, where would they draw the line in a world with no government looking over their shoulders?
That's what it really comes down to, fellow citizens- we can re-elect Obama and continue making baby steps back to prosperity, with the Republicans fighting tooth-and-nail to keep the country divided, demoralized, and broke, just like they've been doing for four years, ever since the bottom fell out (for working people, that is; how many Wall Street speculators do you suppose wound up homeless?). Or, we can elect Romney, the faceless, pliant tool of the same gang of criminals who wrecked the economy in the first place, so they can finish the job they started under Cheney. America will cease to be a meaningful factor in world affairs; does anybody else remember what happened to the last superpower that had a huge military backed by a house-of-cards economy? (Hint: nowadays they're rushin' to fix their country- geddit?)
Democratic government next week, or unchecked corporate power and second-rate status by 2020. It really is just that simple. Vote your conscience, if you have one!
Fox Trotsky,
"Corporations can't be voted out."
My sentiments exactly.
Whether it is insurance companies, banks, oil, or retail companies, they are not in business to promote the common good. That is the role of government.
And Romney , the corporate raider, vulture capitalist is not the one to lead the executive branch of government during these serious times.
foxtrotsky.
You have it all wrong- this country was founded on the basis of limited government and the power be handed to the states and its people.
Economies grow and prosper at the local level not the federal.
ROMNEY/RYAN 2012
John what you are saying correct, But R/r will not do that. You really don't know what they will do unless you look at what they have done. I have looked and it wasn't good. IT pointless say any more. If you haven't seen how fake they are by now, you never will. Go ahead and vote for the demise of the country You will deserve what you get.
If Mr. President Obama does win, I wonder what will happen if he gets impeached for the failure in Benghazi? Will Joe Biden then take care of you? I have no idea how the Legislative bodies will be aligned after this election. Is there any predictions on that?
I actually hope the citizens of the United States end up with a full one party legislature and President. I am voting a straight Republican ticket, even though I am not that much in favor of some of the candidates. I believe the country will be stronger financially and with a stronger military, and a faster growing job market with more insurance than Obamacare provides. I prefer freedom over socialism. I do not want to see the United States turn into a third world country. I also like the trade plans Mitt Romney is looking at implementing which will cause job growth. I also see armored personnel carriers on location and other precautions being taken at our foreign embassies personnel.
Freedom does not equal Socialism. I have never fit in a mold and never will.
Vote Romney / Ryan for freedom. 2012
I guess you lost your freedom over the last four years. Now you want to go back to Bush ideas, the same ones that created the Great Recession? If you are so wound up about Benghazi perhaps you should have considered impeaching Bush and Cheney for 911 and for an unnecessary war in Iraq that was funded by our debt.
You lack logic!
If bush didn't get impeached for failing to protect Americans on 9/11, why should we impeach President Obama?
Freedom also does not equal the government being in charge of women's health choices either.
Socialism is the word the republicans use to scare people when they have nothing honest left to say.
VOTE FOR WOMEN'S FREEDOM...VOTE FOR A DEMOCRAT 2012
Bravo, Americans First! I love your avatar; I am proud to have participated in a number of actions with Occupy Seattle. I could usually be easily spotted at the demonstrations; I was the tall, clean-shaven, short-haired guy wearing a Seattle Seahawks hoodie and hard hat, and carrying a sign that read:
STRAIGHT MIDDLE-AGED BLUE-COLLAR WHITE GUYS FOR ECENOMIC JUSTICE!
The reason the Reptilicans can still invoke the boogeyman of Socialism is that almost nobody in this country has a freakin' clue what Socialism actually is! They have been conditioned through years of mass-media conditioning to 'know' that it's bad, and that's as far as it goes.
Americans think that Socialism means Cuba: you only get two chickens a month, almost nobody owns a car, and you have to stand in line for eight hours to get plastic shoes that don't fit. Nobody equates Socialism with Canada: free medical care, guaranteed retirement income, free university for every student with good grades, and well-regulated banks that serve the public- NOT a government that serves the banks!
Of course, that should have read, "ECONOMIC", but for some reason I wasn't offered the chance to edit this time.
americans first
The airports were on high alert before 9/11 for possible high jacking and nobody had any idea that a high jacked aircraft would be used as a missile.
As for Benghazi- the consulate was attacked in april and again in june and Stevens feared for his life.
There were several militant attacks in the region and request for additional security was denied and the security team that was at the compound was removed in August.
Obama kept spouting to the American people the big lie that the war on terror is over and Al Qeada is on the run.
So reinforcing barricades and security at Benghazi Will dispute Obama,s Lie and give the impression that terrorism is alive in Benghazi.
So when the consulate was attacked and all the other Islam extremist attacks on Sept 11 occurred, a big cover up lie had to be fabricated and so lets blame it on Youtube clip that has been out for several months.
The attack at the consulate went on for hours and being recorded in real time by drones and several requests for reinforcements went unanswered.
0BAMA WENT ON THE VIEW SEPT 25 AND STILL IN DENIAL THAT IT WAS AN TERRORIST ATTACK.
Sacrificing American lives for political gain does not go well with me or the American people and neither does the lying cover up.
This is disgraceful and disgusting along with the Unethical and biased media who is not covering the story who is suppose to keep Americans informed.
I feel like I am in Iran by the actions of the media.
EAST-COASTERS: PLEASE VOTE EARLY, IF YOU CAN!
. . . WATCH OUT FOR Sandy, The FrankenStorm, and stay safe y'all! :-)
VOTE O & JOE & DEM's down-ballot . . . if you are a woman, or love your daughter/sister/granddaughter . . . . . .
The "change" R & R want:
~ a change to "forced birth" - a government where YOU HAVE TO ASK THEIR PERMISSION to terminate a pregnancy that results from RAPE OR INCEST OR YOUR OWN LIFE
~ 12 Senate candidates make no exception for rape/incest/health of the woman;
~ a fertilized egg would have "person-hood" - the same rights under the 14th amendment, to life & property as YOU DO!
~ under one of these laws just recently, the Rapist was freed from prison by an appeals court - the woman who was RAPED could not speak (Cystic Fibrosis) and the court said there was "insufficient evidence" that she had "fought the rapist"
~ some forms of birth control outlawed; Child Care credit & Earned Income Credit - gone; tax breaks for billionaires at the expense of the middle class;
Back to the 1950's? OR . . .
FORWARD into the 21st Century!
VOTE O & JOE! your life (and the life of someone you love) depends on it!
Thanks KJNC!
Looking at latest hurricane news, I guess we won't be getting hit here in eastern MA.
How do you spell R E L I E F?
The only relief the country as a whole will need is spelled:
P R E S I D E N T
O B A M A
- R E E L E C T E D !!!!
Romney is a slime-ball who will say anything to get elected with a lot of former George W. Bush associates as advisors and he's talking about real change? C'mon people!
Vote Obama / Biden 2012. If Romney wins there are those who are salivating and chomping-at-the-bit for another opportunity to rape and pillage for the almighty dollar and think about little else other than their own position, that Romney's policies will unleash and permit to exploit again!
The rape, pillage allusion refers to the actions and resulting condition our economy was left in after George W's run in office! You know, where tens and hundreds of millions were made by a relatively small percentage of folks while a 'vastly larger number' lost their pensions, saw life savings shrivel-up and home values plummet; all while having to dance to the tune of the reckless, greedy Wall Street, Bain Capital, Uber-Capitalist types and their allies in Congress!
It is this unmitigated morass and mess that President Obama has been trying to navigate and rectify with zero, I repeat, zero Republican support throughout his entire term in office. For those in the 99% voting for Romney, it will be the 2nd greatest mistake middle-class America has made since voting George W. Bush in for another term in office in 2004, should Romney be elected.
Right ON! Scary that middle class voters vote against their interests and support con men with a snake oil agenda.
dangerfield,
Yes, both are very articulate observers of the political scene.
But in a way they are very old school, and reveal their nostalgia for old fashion campaigns.
But it is a new day, and this election will indeed be a 50 state election, and of course neither candidate will be able to claim a mandate because this country is divided along so many line. That is reality.
So keep you eye on the swing states and the electoral count. that is the only count that matters.
So , what is your take from the PBS discussion?
Ryan, the Ayn Rand man, won't even carry his own state. How many workers were thrown out of work in Wisconsin due to the economic crises created by giving the rich more tax cuts? And what does Willard and Ryan want to do? Of course, give more tax cuts....not responsible considering the debt. But do not worry, Willard will cut Medicare and give you a voucher which will not pay very much. But of course you will be able to afford the healthcare if you are a millionaire. As for the Middle Class, just die!!
Vice President elect Ryan will do a great job and not be a national embarrasment, unlike his dim-bulb predecessor.
Okay since you think you've picked the brightest and the best; care to explain in som detail the economic plan? BTW did you know Romney has a 22% failure rate in business, he makes noise about Obama having 50% which is bad math 5 failed out of 63 or 8%, you sky is falling, pie in the sky followers never check the facts on your canidates and assune no one else willm sorry. and his economic plan adds greatly to the defecit, 2 trillion on defense... against who?
You are lost! Keep drinking the Tea......
I wish a lot of these uninformed voters would do some type of research. If the did they would know Romney flat out lied to the people of Ohio yesterday saying Jeep was sending their jobs overseas. Even the CEO of Jeep came out and made a statement saying Romney was lying. He simply stated that they were doing so well they may expand to China too. as well as hire 1,100 new workers in the US. Romney is desperate and it's showing.
I wonder if people ever wonder why Romney and Ryan wont even carry their own states. Now these are the people who know them best and will not vote for them. Strange huh?
I have looked at polls lately and see that Wisconsin is now tied 48-48. So I would polish that crystal ball and stop watching only MSNBC for your news.
There were two articles on the net in Autoguides.com and the Examiner that said Jeep was looking at moving to China. You can find them by searching on Bling or Google "Is Jeep moving".
This was later shown to be false, but I can see where it would be a concern to mention in the presidential race, until it was proven false. I wonder if it was a plant to discredit someone. Anything goes in this presidential race from the looks of it.
Everyone should check the facts. All of the parties should. All of the voters should. Has anyone here read the Obama Affordable Healthcare Act? I have. I do not like it. Anyone think that the deaths in Benghazi are going to actually amount to anything or serious inquiries until after the election? I doubt it.
Romney / Ryan 2012
Hey Elliot thanks for reminding me to call all my large family outside Columbus to vote I'll tell them what you said, now whose squirming. Hello Franklin County, I was living in Bexley, drive safe to the polls/
Ryan travel plans take him to Janesville WI to campaign for his house seat for the remainder of this election cycle so he still has a job after Nov. 6th. I guess this is known as throwing Mittens under the election bus.
Ryan - "Rape is a form of conception."
Sounds like he is trying to devilify the actual process of rape making it seem to be "God's will."
Its plain to see that the GOP has lost any sense of respect for America.
Romney and Ryan have proven that loss.
I don't know how anybody could TRUST Romney.
The shift in his platform is dramatic since the Republican convention,...and it is clearly being done simply to get the votes he needs to get into office.
What do you think he will do when he actually holds power ? This guy is a CEO not a leader of a nation. He is bottom lined focused,...PERIOD. Tough sh*t if you get in the way $$$. The human cost is not important to the GOP.
With a Republican congress, Romney is going to bulldoze the middle class,...just as his party leaders have been suggesting for the last year.
A vote for Romney is middle class suicide.
You have to be naive to vote for this guy based on his smile and polish.
The GOP is waaaay off to the right, and if Romney gets in he will accelerate the destruction of the middle and widen the gap between the haves and have nots.
Your vote is important. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO VOTE. We need you.
Vote for "We the people". Vote Obama Biden on Tuesday, November 6th 2012.
The future of America depends on you.
serfdom
Yep,hurry up and vote BEFORE the MURDER of our Ambassador bites OBAMA IN THE BUTT!!
WHO DENIED HELP WHEN REQUESTED??
WHO IS COVERING UP?
Serfdom, I share your anxiety about the deleterious effects of Romney/Ryan policies on the middle class, working poor and other unfortunate Americans.
Mr. Romney will do the naive Republican middle class voters how he did the blind teacher who trusted him--lead them into a closed door. Then laugh at their pain.
Oh, I thought it said Ryan gets kicked off the bus... for being an incompetent...
Obama should be KICKED OUT OF OFFICE for MURDER or at least INCOMPETENCE!!
And where were you when Bush started an unnecessary war in Iraq, lied the American people into it and ten of thousands soldiers and contractors got killed and injured for a false war. Did you speak up then? or did you approve of the Iraq war?
mark
And where were you when Hillary,Biden,Pelosi,Kerry,Schumer and other prominent Democrats VOTED for that unnecessary war?? Where were you when Hillary,Biden,Pelosi,Kerry,Schumer and other prominent Democrats VOTED TO FUND that unnecessary war for 10 years or so?
Now does that make what the Obama Administration did any BETTER??
The Obama Administration WATCHED IN REAL TIME our Ambassador and 3 other Americans killed without lifting a finger to help.
'Ohio, don't stand in the way of change.'
