Subscribe to RSSAs President Obama and Mitt Romney campaigned heavily in the battleground state of Ohio on Thursday, new polls show neck-and-neck race in Colorado with both candidates tied at 48 percent; meanwhile in Nevada, the president still holds a slight advantage. NBC's Chuck Todd reports.
Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney has appropriated for himself one of President Barack Obama's most potent lines of attack throughout this election.
If there is a candidate who represents the status quo and whose plans for the next four years are hazy, it's Obama, as Romney tells it.
It's the same charge the Obama campaign has used against Romney -- with great effect -- for most of 2012. But in a stroke of irony, the Republican nominee has turned the attack back toward the president, with a degree of success.
"This election is a choice between the status quo," Romney said during a major speech on Friday in Iowa, "or choosing real change."
Governor Mitt Romney addressed a crowd of supporters in Ames, Iowa, touting himself as a candidate of change and promising to "bring that kind of change, real change to our country."
The former Massachusetts governor has stumped for most of this week by calling himself the candidate of "big change," claiming for himself the mantle of "change" that Obama had first powerfully represented in 2008.
Moreover, Romney has begun ridiculing Obama's plans for a second term as thin and vague at best.
"You see the President’s campaign is slipping, the president’s campaign is slipping because he can't find an agenda. He's been looking for it -- there's only 12 days left," Romney said at a rally Thursday in Ohio. "He hasn't had a chance to defend it or to describe it to the American people in our debates and so the American people now have to recognize that given the big challenges and the big election we have it's time for a big change."
NBC's Chuck Todd and David Gregory weigh in on the candidates' closing arguments as the presidential race comes down to the wire. Their messages: Mitt Romney promises change while President Obama argues for trust.
If Romney's offensive seems familiar, that might be due to its similarities to many of Obama's own attacks on the Republican nominee.
The president, for instance, has sought throughout the campaign to link Romney to former President George W. Bush, arguing that little has changed in Romney's proposals from the last Republican to inhabit the White House.
"We can’t afford to go backwards to the same policies that got us into this mess; we’ve got to go forward with the policies that are getting us out of this mess," Obama said yesterday at a rally in Virginia.

And Obama mocked Romney's jobs plans as nonsensical and insubstantial, much as Romney has begun to do of Obama's second-term agenda.
"I’ve got a plan that will actually create jobs, not just talk about creating jobs -- a plan that will actually create middle-class security, not just use the words but not deliver on the promise," Obama said at the same rally in Richmond. "Unlike my opponent, I’m actually proud to talk about what’s in my plan, because the arithmetic works."
But Romney has been able to turn these criticisms back against Obama precisely because voters suggest that they are seeking change, even if Obama is re-elected. Sixty-two percent of registered voters, for instance, said in this week's NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll that Obama should make "major changes" in a potential second term.
Obama's campaign also produced a new, glossy pamphlet -- which packages many of Obama's existing jobs proposals, which have met defeat on Capitol Hill -- in a glossy pamphlet. Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan ridiculed it as a "comic book" during a rally Thursday in Virginia.
"President Obama really hasn’t given us a vision for a second term agenda. Just a couple of days ago he came up with a slick new brochure, with less than two weeks left to say, 'Oh I do actually have an agenda,'" he said. "It is ... a slick re-packaging of more of the same."
That Obama hasn't laid out much of a comprehensive second term agenda -- combined with the overall thirst for "change" among many voters -- has only aided Romney and Ryan's ability to sidestep many of the questions about their own plans that had dogged the Republican ticket for much of the election. When asked about the difficult arithmetic or politics underlying Romney's proposals, Republicans are arguing in the closing days of the election that Obama has hardly offered better.
In an interview on Friday with radio host Michael Smerconish, the president dismissed Romney's claim to "big change" -- by again voicing his familiar criticism of Romney.
"What Gov. Romney's offering is a return to policies that have failed us in the past," Obama said. "He's now talking about them as 'big changes.' They're not big changes; they're a repeat, a relapse, of things that haven't worked for American families for over a decade now."

There's not a single original idea in the Republican party. This "I know you are but what am I" stuff is for four year olds. Romney's ideas are use Bush43's advisors and double down on everything he did. If this hole gets Presidential power, there will be war within the year, and a lot of body bags coming home. Read about The Project for a new American Century They pushed for war with Iraq since at least 1998, then they were hired by Bush 43. As soon as the second plane hit the towers, they were blaming it on Iraq dispite the evidence. So they manufactured and cherry picked evidence to support an attack on Iraq. They lied to Colin Powell and made him out to be the lier/fall guy at the UN. Why do you think he now supports president Obama. These same guys are Romney's advisors and have been pushing for war with Iran since they got their way with Iraq. They are the same neocon warhawks that have caused 4488 troops dead and 33,184 wounded ( up to 100,000 if you count PTSD). Civilian deaths in Iraq since the invasion are difficult to calculate but are at least 120,000 and could be over 500,000.

On Neil Cavuto's program, he had one of the Fox analysts who went trough the state by state countdown and stated that, unless Obama stops campaigning or is struck by lightning, there's no path to 270 electoral for Romney.

I can attest to the fact that my elderly mother-in-law's stock portfolio took a nosedive in fall of 2008 (September as I recall) and she lost HALF of its worth in a couple of days. These are blue chip stocks that have been in her family for decades.

How can Panetta say that the "U.S. military did not quickly intervene during the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya last month because military leaders did not have adequate intelligence information and felt they should not put American forces at risk." We had four Americans, including the Ambassador, at risk. Were their lives not worth the risk when U.S. military forces were there, ready to engage, but were not allowed to engage. What ever happened to leave no one behind.

What about Obama's flip flop on the Lybia terrorist attack? Urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command -- who also told the CIA operators twice to "stand down" rather than help the ambassador's team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.
Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to "stand down," according to sources familiar with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to "stand down."
Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the consulate which at that point was on fire. Shots were exchanged. The rescue team from the CIA annex evacuated those who remained at the consulate and Sean Smith, who had been killed in the initial attack. They could not find the ambassador and returned to the CIA annex at about midnight.
At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied. There were no communications problems at the annex, according those present at the compound. The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights.
CIA spokeswoman Jennifer Youngblood, though, denied the claims that requests for support were turned down.

I have read the President's plan on the Internet. There are no details and virtually no numbers. It is not much more than a big wish list. There are no budgets. The arithmetic needs numbers to work but there are no numbers, no estimates of how much things that he would like to do are going to cost. The plan talks about cutting but does not really say what is going to be caught. For the plan to work the federal government will have to realize a savings of more than 2 trillion dollars per year by bringing the troops home in 2014. That number is more than twice the size of our current defense budget that includes our expenses for all over seas operations. The arithmetic does not work. The President promised that he would cut the federal deficit in half in four years. That did not happen. The President's administration said that if the stimulus were passed that unemployment would never rise above 8% and that by now unemployment would be less than 6%. That did not happen. Considering the broken promises on the economy, the lack of definition, and the mathematical impossibility, there is no way that one can believe that the President's plan will work. A vote for Obama will be a vote for, at best, another 4 years of what we have been experiencing in the last 4 years only this time the President will not have to worry about being reelected.

2. Romney has shifted positions so many times to the point it's like a roller coaster ride. He was for this, now he's against it. He knows how to do this, now he doesn't. Now BECAUSE he agreed with the President so much in the last debate and didn't challenge the President on all of the "lies" he told, He looked presidential but in the first debate he was rude and disrespectful AND the president was the exact same way Romney was in the third debate but you claimed Romney was aggressive and the President looked "weak". Why is that????? Most importantly when you vote for Romney, which one are you voting for?
3. If you want to be president which is voted on by the people to serve the people, why would you sign a pledge of a known lobbyist promising to do his bidding IF you are elected President? Remember this is the same person that stated "All we need is an empty suit to sign our policies, nothing more." If that's the case then who are you really voting for, Romney or Norquist? Remember when Romney left the fundraiser from the oil executives? All of a sudden he had an energy policy written on a piece of paper that he was HAPPY to share. Again another example of "empty suit". States he is for women's rights but continues to endorse candidates that clearly think women don't deserve to compete in the same "world" as women. Even doubled down on his endorsements of those that think a rape pregnancy is "God's will!" Really???
I know what most of you will say about Obama's failed policies and he is "weak" when it comes to being the Commander in Chief not to mention the Libya incident but here's what I'll say to that:
Being in the military and knowing all about security and intelligence, it is CRITICAL that you get the facts straight BEFORE you go reporting ANYTHING to your superiors as you don't want to look like a dumba** when the information is wrong. If you get information that a known terror group claimed responsibility THEN the next day that same group says they different, think about it. These groups TAKE PRIDE in their accomplishments and have NO PROBLEM taking responsibility of their successes. So if they didn't do it then you have to make sure that the information is CORRECT before you come forward. IT IS A FACT, the protest that were going on around the Arab countries WERE ABOUT THE WEBSITE MOVIE. Why do you think there were protest happening all over the middle east? Again, think about it.

It take 150,000 new jobs a month just to cover population growth. The unemployment figures do not take these people into account. It also does not take those that have run out of benefits into account. It also does not include the people hired with Stimulus Money. Bet you did not know everyone hired with Stimulus Money are not allowed to get unemployment when the money ran out and they were laid off.

Yes corporate profits are up. No surprise to me. Anyone who is looking will see that as people retire or die they are not replaced. Workers are forced to work longewr hours and more days. 10 and 12 hour days are not uncommon aas iare 7 day work weeks. Benefits have been cut dramatically as well. Why ? Because of NAFTA ,GAFT and other free trade agreements that paid our corporations to move off shore. Unions have been busted. So many believe that the Democratic party is for workers and Unions. The favt is it was a Democratic Predident that signed these trade agreements. It was also a Democratic President that pushed to get lending practices loosened for housing.Millions of people got in over their heads because of those mortgages pushed by that administration. When the great plan of changing the course of this country from a manufacturing powerhouse to a service oriented counrty took affect all he** broke loose. As Jobs went away fewer and fewer could afford thier mortgage payments. Since they had alrready used up 125% of the equity in the home , they didn't have the option to refinace so they defaulted. As millions defaulted on mortgages and car payments because of lost job opportunities the economy in other areas began to fail as well. So every aspect of our economy was hit and hit hard as fewer and fewer people were working.
Anyone who really does not thinnk this poor economy, the housing crisis, the auto industry failing and rise in unemployment was not caused by the great Clinton/Gore administration had party blinders on. It was their vision for us not to manufacture in the USA. After all it causes polution. When asked asked "what will replace all the lost manufacturing jobs when they are gone" Gore said " We don't know. but something will come along " .
To me the Democratic party is the great party of hope. Hope you can find a place to live, Hope you can find food for your family, Hope you can find a job, Hope your kids don't get sick, Hope you don't mind suffering while they all live pretty well. The intel used to determine the WMD were there came from Clintons own CIA adn other intel agencies and was believed to be acurate. We attacked where we ALL thought at the time we should. Budgets do not come from the White House…They come from Congress and the party that
controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democratic Party.
Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well
as 2010 & 2011.
In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to
compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending
increases.
For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely,
passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama
could take office.
At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009
budget.
And where was Barack Obama during this time?
He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of
these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to
complete 2009.
Let's remember what the deficits looked like during that period:
If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last
of the Republican budgets.
That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in
deficit spending.
After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes
Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.
If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself.
In a nutshell, what Obama is REALLY saying is "I inherited a deficit that I
voted for, and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January
20th."
There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!

For "Pete's Sake" save this great nation from this extremism and destruction that will result. 1. He literally "stole" (metaphorically) money from the only healthy fund at the Federal level. Yep. From Social Security money that, folks, were not never no how ever "taxes." The FICA deductions from our paychecks are investments exclusive for our future when we are older or disabled and unable to work and support ourselves. Think Insurance! Even FICA labels it as such: Federal INSURANCE Contributions Act.
That is NOT a "Tax"; it is our Investment for our future! Barack Obama has NO RIGHT WHATSOEVER to "borrow" funds from Social Security to pay for his willy-nilly ideas for "entitlements." Taxes he may administer, theoretically, upon his suggestions being ratified by Congress.... and only then!
2. Barack Obama did not earn his personal wealth (and it is in the millions...check it out) by working for it himself. He inherited that money from his grandmother; his mom's mom.
3. Barack Obama has no personal experience either as a worker in our American market place like the rest of us dubs, nor has he ever practiced Law for the masses. (We, folks, are the masses.)
I voted for Barack Obama into his first term, delighted back then to support a self-styled minority himself (he has equal claim to calling himself white as it is 50-50 from his parents). I think he should simply have acknowledged himself as mixed-ancestry... the truth, and also the truth of every single one of us in the United States. And, if we do our research, this even applies globally. (Science acknowledges there seems to be an island in the South Pacific which demonstrate the purest "race" extant.)
I will not vote for any President who doesn't even have the brains not to call the FICA investments we make on our paychecks to be the investments of us citizens (the other contributors being our employers who, one could argue, are actually giving us a pay increase because this augments our fund... our fund... NOT any other person's, not the Prexy's to borrow from, especially the current one.
It would be fascinating to see not only his IRS records over the past few years, but how much, if any, "investments" he has made towards his own funds. LOL Does anyone know if he contributes to his own Social Security investment from his "modest" income as our current POTUS?

Thank you. I have to disagree....lol. Sailors and Marines agree on whole lot of stuff...there isn't a better team than the Navy & Marine Corps team. Plus the fact that I'm also married to a Sailor and she's the best thing that's ever happened to me.
To the point. What I think has been very interesting during this entire election cycle is how the Republican Party is playing on the military (Active Duty, Reserve and National Guard) vote. Grant it, 40 - 50% of the military may vote Republican, but our boys and girls are not stupid and they do have very long memories. I'm hoping their sense of duty and a strong desire to return home and "nation build here", convinces them to vote against a Romney/Ryan ticket.

Take it from a FL resident that's been through lots of storms - don't underestimate the damage they can do. I made the mistake of staying put for one (hit a couple hundred miles away), and it just happened to cause the worst flooding in 100 years in my area...we lost all the vehicles. The weather people do the best they can, but realistically, they are only guessing...always plan for the worst.
Once again, the most watched person on TV this weekend will be Jim Cantore on The Weather Channel. Seriously, who did he do to deserve having to stand outside in the middle of these storms?

We as a union will proceed to arbitration and if necessary litigate his case to the fullest. I am glad we have a union. This is but just one situation as to why unions are necessary. Silverton: Did you read my post at all? Can you show me any blue chip stock that lost 50% of it's value in "a couple of days". Those are your words. Not mine. Give me the chart of any blue chip company that lost 50% in two days. I don't mean a week or two weeks or a month. I mean two days. That's the time frame you used.
Beyond that, if your mother in law is elderly, then she really had no business being in the stock market for more than 10 or 15% of her portfolio at most. If she is elderly, and by that, I mean retirement age or older, then if she was mostly in stocks, she was rolling the dice. Of course, she's free to do that if she wishes. But, as the old saying goes, ya roll the dice, ya takes your chances. Before the collapse, there were several weeks worth of financial news that preceded it. There was ample warning to get out for anyone who was paying attention. Most didn't. That's not my fault. I was, and I got out, so I know it was done by some.
The problem is that most people suffer from a greed complex (which is one of the things that makes the market work, but that's for another thread). They don't trade enough or study the markets enough to be able to effectively read stock charts and patterns, and so if they aren't getting out at what they perceive to be the very top, they will willingly put tens of thousands at risk tying to recoup a loss of a few hundred dollars from the top. I don't have to be clairvoyant to know that your mother in law probably didn't consider herself a stock trader, and if she did, she wasn't very good at it.
They don't understand that trying to call the very top is impossible for even the most experienced people on Wall Street. And anyone who does manage to call an absolute top or bottom will most likely never repeat that feat in their lifetime. It's that rare. There is a time to be in the market and a time to get out. That time is not the same for everyone, because everyone's tolerance for risk is not the same.
I'm sorry she didn't decide to follow the traditional advice of moving to bonds or fixed income securities as you get older to lessen your risk, but hey, that's not anyone's fault but her's.

In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights.
CIA spokeswoman Jennifer Youngblood, though, denied the claims that requests for support were turned down.

Romney and The GOP Congress support the Paul Ryan budget that would dismantle the Medicare system with voucher system. They want to privatize SS, put money in a stock market account, no guarantees, and though they want to shrink the size of government, they want to control women's reproductive rights, and care less about equal pay for equal work.
Lies and more lies! First the medicare system will remain alive and an OPTION for $$ towards an alternative insurance is on the table, you have a CHOICE. I am not lying. The option of giving those under 55 a set amount to buy insurance is in fact dismantling the Medicare system as we know it. It becomes an insurance premium support program.
Currently, Medicare pays a guarantee set of benefits. And seniors then go and buy supplemental insurance to fill in the gaps. Under Ryan/Romney plan, they would get a coupon, voucher for a certain amount and then go out and buy heath insurance when they are 65, 75, or 85 years of age.
It is estimated that the $6,000.per year would not get a senior ,12 years from now ,anywhere near what basic Medicare covers today.
Medicare should never be an option, but a basic guarantee for heath care for all those 65 years and older.

that means, in plain american english that the individuals will have to make a choice! that means that nobody is obligated to abandon the old system.

As to Heath care law, a state can get a wavier if their plan is at least as good or better than the current law. I think Vermont got a waiver and is going for a single payer system to insure all of its residents.

I believe you, because it is already happening. This past week, I received a letter stating that my doctor prescribed therapies were only being approved by their medical group (panel) for half what the doctor ordered (I'd already used up more than half the therapies by the time they sent the letter). I have 30 days to appeal, but I'm not holding out much hope.
Also, the fact that insurance premiums were supposed to remain stable under Obama's "reform" has been proven to be false - as premiums have gone through the roof. The latest "casualty" for me and my family due to skyrocketing costs has been the deletion of our doctors and hospitals in the Providence Healthcare system as of January 1st from our health coverage.

Heart disease is a serious condition. I am glad you have Medicare and I hope a good supplement insurance policy to go with it. During open enrollment you can shop around to get the right policy to meet your needs.I do not know the state you live, but each state has different insurance companies that can offer supplemental Medicare insurance.
Medicare under the new heath care law gives you a annual exam at no out of pocket cost, it gives you many pre-cancer screenings at no out of pocket cost, and gives you more support when you reach the donut hole for out of pocket expenses for drugs. I know drugs for heart disease can be very expensive.
The reduction in Medicare savings under the law does not affect benefits, but makes the insurance companies that offer Advantage care to be more accountable with the federal dollars they receive each month whether one uses their services or not.
If you need a stress test ordered by a doctor it does not have to go to some "panel". If you need bypass surgery it will be done. I am glad you have insurance.
I know a family member who was 64 yrs old, lost his heath insurance because the company he worked for was closed. He lost his heath insurance. could not afford the Cobra. he had chest pains, called 9/11. Ended up in the hospital for four day, had stent surgery. Those four days in the hospital cost $78,000.
He sure wished he had heath insurance. Now he has Medicare and is getting the care he needs. Now that the heath care law is being fully implemented in the next two year, many of the uninsured will be able to purchase affordable heath insurance.
But if you think your grandchildren can get by with a voucher when they reach 65 go ahead and vote for Romney/ryan.
I will not, my children and grandchildren will not be short changed if I can help it.

As for "affordable" insurance...maybe affordable for you, but in my family - we each have a $5,000 deductible - on top of what we pay for premiums ($20,000 for the family total deductible). You obviously don't live in the same real world I do. And this is all while Obama has been in office.
I can only imagine what the costs will be once millions of people have to be covered with insurance (that aren't paying for it)...it will be MY premiums going up even more (which means I will be settling for an even lousier policy - with an even BIGGER deductible). How is this fair?
People will pay for it or the government will help them pay for health insurance. Once a whole lot of people are in the health care pool costs will go down and better care will be provided because more Americans will have health insurance. You have a very costly insurance plan. and I cannot even fathom what your preminums are on top of those high deductables. And then on top of that your insurance company will only pay for half of the treatments your doctor ordered! I would certainly appeal that decision. and I would shop around for a different insurance company.
Again, what state do you live in?
Starting jan 2013, one can go to state exchanges to compare what your insurance dollar will buy among the different plans and their cost. It called competition. Same idea as Expedia ot any travelsite.You should be able to find more coverage for the dollars you pay, or less dollars for the same coverage.
But many states have decided to wait and not follow the law until after the election. My state has been working on setting up the insruance exchages for the last year. They will be ready to go next year.

I believe you are very confused...still. My husband and I are both covered through our work (yes, we help pay our premiums). I work in the public education system, my husband as a private sector employee, and the way it works in Oregon, you either take what your employer offers, or you're on you're own entirely (of course, in Oregon, we taxpayers already provide healthcare for the poor). While I am blessed to be double-covered, we both have the same insurance provider (it is offered in many states)...so yes, I believe in the concept of competition - but Obamacare has not lowered the cost of insurance causing the employers to offer less health coverage for premiums spent (I believe Obamacare was supposed to be the savior of affordable coverage as was widely touted), and companies are openly talking about taking the tax penalty rather than even offering insurance to their employees.
I'd chat longer, but feel that your mind is already made up. Please remember this conversation is a couple of years, if Obama re-elected.

Just another thought... Almost half the American people don't pay federal taxes. A large percentage of that group will be getting "assistance" to pay their premiums. You DO know where that assistance is coming from? Honestly, I'm having a tough time and we fall in the solidly middle class. I don't know how we'll make it when the screws are really put to us.
I believe this is a states' issue (as with many other moral obligations) and one that is able to be addressed (as I stated earlier, it is addressed in our state).

Recently, Democrats have actually seen a statistical increase by those who draw their information on the ground - and President Obama actually leads Romney in Ohio by 4 points - granted within the margin of error - but the upward trajectory of Romney is beginning to flat line in Ohio. Obama has a much better organized ground-game in Ohio and his favorability margin among white working class men in Ohio is higher there than any other state, plus Obama's lead among women makes it nearly statistically impossible for Romney to take Ohio.

Thomas: If by chance Pres.Obama is winning, we're in big trouble. The Benghazi attack is front and center on many American minds. It's now on the news that there were numerous pleas for help and no one came to save them. The US has the most advance military in the world and this administration wouldn't save them. Four American's were slaughtered for what? A political advantage? Every American surely must be worried about their own safety now.

Unemployment when Obama took office was 7.8%, not 10.2%.
Where you get your 'consumer sentiment' numbers, I'm not sure because where I live people are spending much less.
As for the deficit - while they may have shaved off $100 billion this year, that is barely a dent on the$1.3 trillion that is the actual deficit spending for the year, which gets added to the debt because there aren't enough tax receipts to pay for the bloated federal spending.
GDP - Anything less than 4-5% shows that it is not even growing enough to support population growth, denoting a stagnant economy.
Job creation - Bush actually created about 6 million jobs during his tenure. Obama has lost at least 600,000 jobs as we actually have the lowest labor participation rates since about 1981.
Taxes - Obamacare is the largest tax increase on the middle class in the history of the nation and they are projecting about a million jobs lost once it is fully implemented as many smaller businesses will lay people off and keep from hiring due to the added costs.
As for pork spending - look to your democrats on that as well.
So, spin it anyway you want to, Obama is a complete failure economically for this nation.
And, tell me, how do you justify your faith in Obama when he was aware of what was happening in Benghazi and did nothing while they watched the attack and murder of our ambassador for 7 hours, knowing that help was only about an hour away?

Even members of a nearby Seal Team were told to "Stand down" when they were only a mile away at a CIA Annex from the attack! On Neil Cavuto's program today, he had one of the Fox analysts who went trough the state by state countdown and stated that, unless Obama stops campaigning or is struck by lightning, there's no path to 270 electoral for Romney.
