CLEVELAND, Ohio – Perhaps the most impactful part of President Barack Obama’s speech here Thursday night wasn’t anything he said, but how he arrived.

The presidential aircraft, Air Force One, taxied right up to a crowd of 12,000 at the Burke Lakefront Airport, easing to a stop in front of the podium.
After a dramatic few minutes when the crowd cheered on the plane itself, the president descended, breaking into a full jog to the stage, the words “United States of America” emblazoned on the aircraft behind him, gleaming in stark white and blue against the darkness of the night behind it.
While such theatrics were an example of the power of the presidency, Obama’s hoarse voice proved that even presidents get run down sometimes – for example, after 48 hours covering eight states and catching a few hours of sleep on the plane – even if it is Air Force One.
“We’ve been going for two days straight, from the East Coast to the West Coast,” he told the crowd. “I’ve still got a spring in my step because our cause is right. Because we’re fighting for the future,” he continued.
The president hit some notes that he reserves for Ohio events, including a special focus on the auto bailout, popular with Ohio’s autoworkers, which his presidential rival Mitt Romney opposed.
“If Mitt Romney had been president when the auto industry was on the verge of collapse we might not have an American auto industry today,” Obama said. “The auto industry supports one in eight Ohio jobs. It’s a source of pride to this state. It’s a source of pride for generations of workers. I refused to walk away from those workers.”
After his speech, the president turned and got right back on his plane, and took off for the White House.

I would be exhausted too if I lied as much as Obama has in the past few years. AND has MSNBC gone completely off the deep end? I had to watch a few of their news shows just to see what the hell they are telling people. Good lord Abortion scare tactics abound here. First of all we have some really serious financial problems going on right now and I can assure you that abortion is not in the top 10 list of things to address right at the moment. I think Chris Matthews is going to have a stroke one of these days and I really don't appreciate the news media of accusing a voter of being a liar when it comes to Benghzi. Remember when the government baned "smoking" TV ads, so gullible people were not forced to buy cigarettes.
Remember when the government baned high sugar cereal ads on Saturday mornings, so kids did not demand sugary cereal.
Remember the government wanting to ban 40oz malt liquor billboards in low income areas, because those folks could not help them selves.
Now if they would have baned Obama ads that sold him to gullible Americans & marketed him in poor neighborhoods, we would not be in this mess.
What we know so far:
Obama refused to believe that terrorists might attack again on 9/11.
Ambassador Stevens believed strongly that such an attack was likely, and made multiple unambiguous requests for additional security.
In June 2012, the Consulate in Benghazi was damaged by an improvised explosive device. Stevens had reported to his superiors that an Islamist group (Ansar al-Shariah?) had claimed credit for the attack, and in so doing, had "described the attack as targeting the Christians supervising the management of the consulate." And again, he requested more security forces.
Eric Nordstrom the State Department's Regional Security Officer, Karen Keshap, a State Department manager, and a colleague of Keshap's, Shawn P. Crowley, had all made multiple complaints about the inadequate security in Benghazi. Crowley, had even apologized in an email for "being a broken record" on the subject of inadequate security in Benghazi.
Faced with all this, Obama, or his Administration, still refused to increase security at the Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
On September 11 the ambassador signed a three-page cable, labeled "sensitive," in which he noted "growing problems with security" in Benghazi.
On the night of September 11 2012, the Consulate in Benghazi, Libya was attacked by 20 – 100 heavily armed terrorists with rocket propelled grenades and machine guns. Ambassador Stevens, and four of his personnel moved to the compound "safe haven". The terrorists torched the compound with incendiary devices, driving them out. The Ambassador and three others were then murdered. A news report made by the Libyan Free Press reported that Ambassador Stevens was sodomized before he was killed. His body was not recovered for another 12 hours.
Ahmed Abu Khattala, a leader of the Benghazi-based Islamist group Ansar al-Shariah, or "Partisans of Islamic Law," was observed commanding the attack that night.
Drones in the area? Not sure yet.
Two hours after the attack started, Obama was informed through unclassified channels that "the diplomatic mission is under attack. Embassy Tripoli reports approximately 20 armed people fired shots; explosions have been heard as well." The SBU (Sensitive But Unclassified) email did not report any crowds, demonstrators or protestors. It is safe to assume that urgent classified communications came to Obama and Clinton sooner, and with far more detail. Other SBU emails, obtained by Reuters, specifically mention that Ansar al-Sharia had asserted responsibility for the attacks. Again there was never any mention of crowds, demonstrators or protestors.
The attack lasted approximately six hours. During that time Obama did … absolutely nothing!
The following day Obama made an ambiguous statement that may or may not have acknowledged that this was a terrorist attack.
Immediately after Obama's statement though. administration spokespersons, including White House spokesman Jay Carney, maintained for two weeks that the attacks likely were a spontaneous protest against an anti-Muslim film. They offered no evidence to support that contention.
After two weeks, faced with all the mounting and incontrovertible evidence, Obama finally admitted that it was a pre-planned terrorist attack.
On October 17 The New York Times reported that "Libyan authorities have singled out Ahmed Abu Khattala, a leader of the Benghazi-based Islamist group Ansar al-Shariah, or "Partisans of Islamic Law," as a commander in the attack that killed the American ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens, last month." This confirmed the SBU report that Obama had received on September 11.
Had Obama told the truth at the time, he would have been admitting that he had committed a huge error in judgment not to grant the consulate's security requests on the anniversary of 9/11. He clearly had a great deal of motivation to call it a "spontaneous demonstration," and that is exactly what he did!
On October 25, leading congressional lawmakers applied new pressure to the Obama administration for information on the attack: "The American public is increasingly reading information contradicting early accounts by your administration of the causes of the events of the day. "In the absence of your direct engagement to clarify these concerns, the public's frustration and confusion is likely to discredit efforts to achieve our shared goals of justice and accountability for the direct assault on American interests and the deaths of four public servants."
Sorry for the long post, but I'm afraid it will get longer as more and more evidence surfaces.

President Bush was told in the months before the Sept. 11 attacks that Osama bin Laden's terrorist network might hijack U.S. passenger planes - information which prompted the administration to issue an alert to federal agencies - but not the American public.
CBS News National Security Correspondent David Martin says the warning was in a document called the President's Daily Brief, which is considered to be the single most important document that the U.S. intelligence community turns out. The document did not, however, mention the possibility of planes being flown
into buildings.
An agent in the FBI's Arizona office did, however, speculate about that, writing in his case notes about Zacarias Moussaoui that Moussaoui seemed like the type of person who was capable of flying an aircraft into the World Trade Center.
It was the observation of an agent taking notes as he thought about his case - an observation whose significance simply did not register at the time.
White House spokesman Ari Fleischer says that while President Bush was told last summer that bin Laden's al Qaeda network might hijack planes, he did not receive information suggesting that airplanes might be used as suicide bombs, as they were on Sept. 11.
Fleischer emphasizes that "until the attack took place, I think it's fair to say that no one envisioned that as a possibility."
The revelation about the president's security briefing comes as House and Senate Intelligence Committee investigators prepare for public hearings beginning next month on whether an intelligence community which spends $30 billion a year should have been able to provide a more specific warning in advance of Sept. 11.
The New York Times reports that an FBI agent in Arizona warned his superiors last summer that bin Laden might be sending students to U.S. flight schools.
Investigators have since Sept. 11 suspected bin Laden's al Qaeda network of masterminding the terror attacks on America, which killed more than 3,000 people.

For his plan to work as stated, bringing the troops home will have to result in a savings of more than two trillion dollars per year which is impossible. That is more than twice what we are spending on defense per year now and that includes the cost of all overseas operations. The President has no sense of budget.

What would have happened is that GM and Chrysler would have gone through a normal bankruptcy, continued operating, not gone out of business and they would have been able to void their union contracts and start over. That's what bankruptcy is, starting over. As it was, GM's stock became worthless anyway, which is just what would have happened in a normal bankruptcy. Obama really likes to take bull@!$%# to the limit. He should be in show business. The guy missed his calling; he could have had a great career as a standup comedian or an actor.
If Obama really cared about people he would take Trump up on
his offer. That money could go to a charity that would SAVE LIVES.

Vote for your interest! some vote, because it's a group thing! Can anyone name one position from Romney/Ryan as it relates to the Economy? or Romney's position on the Economy? Does anyone know Romney/Ryan position on the decficit or taxes? Can anyone name how many years of taxes have Romney released to the American public? Romney is a rich salesman trying to con his way into the White House. It shouldn't matter about the ethnicity. And all talk is cheap. When we stop looking at character, but woo salesmanship over character, what you look like over, what you stand for, dishonesty over integrity...then a country is in trouble.
9 years ago the Republicans in power told us outright lies about Saddam Hussein having weapons of mass destruction so they could use it as an excuse to invade Iraq and overthrow Hussein, thinking we would be welcomed as heroes and given free access to Iraq's oil reserves, the second largest in the world.
The result? No oil. A trillion dollars in war debt and counting. And 4,000 young soldiers lying dead in the ground with another 20,000 plus with no arms, legs, or eyesight.
They also removed all the restraints put on the banking industry back in the days of the Great Depression, allowing uncontrolled speculation and market gambling that enriched the heads of the financial industry but almost bankrupted the country to the sad economic state it is in today, and for which they try to put the blame on Obama.
Now they're telling you why they should be elected and allowed to run the country again.
You going to vote for them? Are you really that stupid? Or maybe you're brain is rotted and you just can't remember who it is that screwed this country to the wall from 2000 through 2008.

The President is a true statesman. Romney isn't no were in that league. Romney is for the rich, richer, and richest. Yet, the most important followers of his con game are likely living from paycheck to paycheck. Romney couldn't hardly relate to the average joe, everything was provided for him. Yet with all of his wealth, you should see that much more in humbleness from him. It's not about what he say, it's all about his budget. Ryan his running mate is already on the record for voting to get rid of social security as we know it. Go look at Ryan's record? Go look Romney's record as Masschusett Gov. what were there accomplishments? We don't need just anybody in the WH going forward...we want somebody,even behind close doors care about 100% of the American people. Ryan follows the teachings of Ayn Rand and Romney can not be trusted at all. This is 2012 not 1920.

I guess some are insane in the membrane! Romney is just a salesman with the wrong prescription for America. He's for the rich, richer and richest. He said it. He doesn't care about the 47%. But he does care about the wealthy percent. Increase taxes for the rich, so the middleclass and those on fix income pay for those increase taxes. Ryan, budget. Explain it that. Cuts all sorts of programs including social security. The truth always win. The wealthy can afford to give more. They made billons over the last 4 years and sitting on trillions. The GOP is for the rich, richer and richest. That's all to that.
Libya, folks should stop expoliting the Libya massacre. It's a shame and it degrades the sacrifice these Americans made to defend this country, America.
