Have you noticed it is the right, Republicans, Conservatives, and Tea Partiers that complain about the record numbers of people on Welfare, Food stamps, the poverty rate in the U.S. being the highest it’s been since WWII but you never hear the Democrats or the Left complain about those things?

The Obama campaign has finally, the day after the debates, come up with the President's economic plan for the next 4 years. The plan is devoid of detail and budgetary information but is full of wishful thinking. Obamanomics is really impossiblenomics. This is one of the parts that I like the best"

Do some nation-building here at home: We’ll use half the savings from ending the war in Afghanistan to help pay down our debt and invest the rest in fixing our roads, runways, bridges, and schools.
End overseas wars and rebuild our economy. After responsibly ending overseas operations, the President will reinvest in our country by:

• Committing half of the money saved from responsibly ending overseas operations in Iraq and Afghanistan to reducing the deficit and the other half to investing in public infrastructure.
• Investing an additional $210 billion over six years to support a million jobs improving America’s roads, bridges, transit systems, railways, aviation systems and runways, and putting construction workers back to work.

Four years ago, without conditions of any kind to include any act of congress, the President promised that the 2012 federal deficit would not exceed 229.27 billion dollars yet in fact it exceeded 1.1 trillion dollars. That says a lot for the President's fiscal planning and sense of budget. For the past 4 years the President has been proposing a tax increase on the "rich" that congress has yet to pass. This increase in taxes would at most divert 100 billion dollars per year from the private sector to the public sector. The federal government has been trying to spark the economy by injecting more money. This move will have the opposite effect and will do little to solve our debt problem. so using 2012 figures the federal government will still have a trillion dollar debt to deal with.

According to the President's nomination acceptance speech, the troops will be coming home in 2014 so by 2015 the peace dividend will be in full effect. According to the President's plan, he is expecting to net more than 2 trillion dollars per year by bringing the troops home. It will take at least 1 trillion dollars to balance the budget and of course that has to be done before we can start running a surplus. Balancing the budget is done with just half of the peace dividend. That is why the peace dividend will have to be greater than 2 trillion dollars per year. So the President is claiming that we are spending more than two trillion dollars per year on the war on Afghanistan which is less than true. If the federal government cut out all defense spending that then cut the rest of the budget in half it would not generate the required savings. The President's plan is fantasy economics. The President's plan is mathematically impossible. It is the President who needs more math education.

I believe you left out one important element... When Obama speaks of savings, what's not mentioned is that the money spent on the war is borrowed dollars... If the money is borrowed, how can savings be applied? It only means we'll be borrowing less and NOT saving.

I have a feeling the jobs reports is not going to look good next week. Yesterday some earning reports looked very weak.

We had a Senate race 2 years ago here in Colorado between a tea bag Ken Buck and Democrat Mike Bennet. Bennet won by a narrow margin mostly due to Buck's anti women and anti Hispanic rhetoric. Turnout among likely Democratic voters is always lower in off year elections. The Romney/Ryan campaign has been just about as anti women and anti Hispanic as was Buck's and that's why President Obama will win in Colorado.

The deficit was already at 1.3 trillion annually when Obama took office with an 8 trillion dolar increase predicted over the next decade regardless of who would be president. Boy are you right, just got done analysing the Times poll for Ohio. What a joke. The current tally of partisan voting in Absentee and early voting is down 7.6 points for democrats and up 5.9 points for Republicans.

The Times poll thinks that we are still in 2008 (39% Democrat, 31% Republican). The early voting is indicating we are closer to 2004 where the final turnout was 40% Republican and 35% Democrats.

UPDATE: The U.S. attorney's office has announced that four men, including Democratic state Rep. Hudson Hallum of Marion, pleaded guilty today to felony conspiracy to commit election fraud in Hallum's special election victory last year. The case charges paying for bundled absentee ballots.

All four appeared today in federal court and were released on their own recognizance. The others were Hallum's father, Kent Hallum, a car dealer; West Memphis police officer Sam Malone and West Memphis City Councilman Phillip Carter.

The Indicement:

It says Carter had used the same absentee ballot fraud strategy in other elections at the state and federal level. Carter organized others, including Malone, a Quorum Court member, School Board member and police officer, to participate. They identified people likely to vote absentee, based on past elections, and arranged to have absentee ballots mailed. They tracked the progress of mailing and completing the ballots and paid voters in cash and other ways for Hallum votes, as well as checking to see how they voted. In one case, $20 was provided for a "family meal" for eight. Ballots for opponent Kim Felker were destroyed. They also conspired to evade the law that limits the number of absentee ballots a bearer may possess. Hallum, who won the runoff by 8 votes, got 394 of his 880 votes by absentee vote. I wonder what percentage of you enthusiastic Obama supporters get a government check. I won't judge, because perhaps some of you are physically or psychologically incapable of working. However, if I was in your shoes I would most certainly choose Romney as my guy. Obama cannot sustain this system. He has proven to be more unsuccessful each year in office. You have the most invested interest in growing this economy. Your check depends on it. The "government" gives you nothing. The money you receive is possible due to people working and paying taxes. The less people working and the less money people are making the less chances you are going to continue to receive that check. It will soon not even be possible if we continue on the road we are on. It is simple economics.

So, we have less taxes being paid due to reduction in incomes and less people employed yet he wants to increase the size of government. The math simply will not work. It is not working. Obama makes people (particularly the ones most dependent upon government) think he is for them. But, all he really wants is a vote. He wants a vote to grow government and spend money. Yes, he and many others enjoy the perks that come with political leadership. By growing government, we have less money in the pot for things such as social welfare. Do you really think he is going to give up his lavish lifestyle (millions of dollars in vacations he and his family enjoy) to give you more money? Absolutely not!

Romeny gave millions to people in need (of his OWN money). Obama gave somewhere around $500, I believe it was. Who do you think is the more sociably responsible party? Obama wants to talk a good game but seems to never put his money where his mouth is. I really wish people would take a closer look.
