Obama high command projects strength heading into home stretch

Updated 1:23 p.m. ET - President Barack Obama's re-election team emerged Tuesday to argue that the president is in the proverbial driver's seat heading into the closing two weeks of the campaign.

"We continue to feel very good about our prospects two weeks from tonight," Obama campaign manager Jim Messina said in a conference call recapping last night's third and final debate between the president and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

Recommended: Obama renews ridicule of Romney the day after final debate

Messina, along with senior Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod, argued that the president is well-positioned to win a second term thanks to the strength of early voting in states like Iowa, Ohio and Wisconsin and stronger turnout the Democratic high command expects from minority and young voters.

Sen. John Kerry joins The Daily Rundown's Chuck Todd to talk about the differences between the candidates on foreign policy during the final debate.

But Axelrod also acknowledged that his own words might well be a headfake in the end.

"We know what we know, and they know what they know. I'm confident we're going to win this race," he said. "We'll know who is bluffing and who isn't in two weeks."

"Three weeks ago Jim Messina was insisting they were ahead in the battleground states and today he is insisting they aren’t pulling out of any states.  That doesn’t sound like ‘Forward’ to me," said the Romney campaign's political director, Rich Beeson, in response.

Both the Romney and Obama campaigns are full of bravado headed into the final 14 days of the campaign, each cherrypicking a handful of polls and statistics to argue they have the upper-hand in the election. More independent polls have shown the presidential contest tightening to a horserace nationally, a development that has played out in many swing states as well.

President Obama voiced his concerns over Governor Romney's foreign policy doctrine at a campaign event in Delray Beach, Fla., saying his opponent is "all over the map."

Even the slightest sign of weakness by Obama or Romney is seized upon by the other. When Paul Begala, an adviser to a pro-Obama super PAC, said yesterday on television that the Obama campaign was all but finished in North Carolina, the Obama campaign tried to dispute his characterization.

"We are tied or ahead in every battleground state, and we're not leaving any state where we're tied or ahead," Messina said Tuesday.

The Obama campaign manager also played up their efforts to encourage Obama supporters who might not be the most consistent voters to cast their ballots early in states where that is available.

"Every single day now is Election Day," Messina said.

you wont see NBC reporting this i'm sure.

Why is it that the New York Times can manage to track down a terrorist ringleader of the 9/11 attacks on our consulate in Benghazi, yet the United States government can’t?

Witnesses and the authorities have called Ahmed Abu Khattala one of the ringleaders of the Sept. 11 attack on the American diplomatic mission here. But just days after President Obama reasserted his vow to bring those responsible to justice, Mr. Abu Khattala spent two leisurely hours on Thursday evening at a crowded luxury hotel, sipping a strawberry frappe on a patio and scoffing at the threats coming from the American and Libyan governments.

Libya’s fledgling national army is a “national chicken,” Mr. Abu Khattala said, using an Arabic rhyme. Asked who should take responsibility for apprehending the mission’s attackers, he smirked at the idea that the weak Libyan government could possibly do it. And he accused the leaders of the United States of “playing with the emotions of the American people” and “using the consulate attack just to gather votes for their elections.”

Mr. Abu Khattala’s defiance — no authority has even questioned him about the attack, he said, and he has no plans to go into hiding — offered insight into the shadowy landscape of the self-formed militias that have come to constitute the only source of social order in Libya since the fall of Col.Muammar el-Qaddafi.

So what are you going to do, send a drone strike into a crowded cafe? Actually read what the guy said - he's making himself all self important. He admits he represents no movement, and even denies al-Qaida ties. So is he a big fish, a Tony Soprano, or just a street thug? And wouldn't we like this guy to think he's all safe and beyond our reach, all the while as we follow him to lair?

Why would I hate America, I've made a very good living and have the best health care in the world. All my retirement needs are covered by my own investments and I'm free to make negative comments about the politicians and the political wannabees that I find to be repulsive turds. When I get in the voting booth my vote will count just like anyone elses. You're the *ss that's full of hate here lucky, not me.

Obama has taken four years to turn this country completely in the wrong direction. WE ARE WORST OFF THEN WHEN HE TOOK OFFICE.

He had the opportunity and he squandered it away. He had the majority in both the house and senate in his first two years and did not attempt to pass a budget, cut spending and reduce the debt. By that it was impossible to stimulate the economy and create jobs.

Unemployment has risen and stands at 8%, those off the job market is near 15 million, the debt has eclipsed $16T and his big plan to fix it is to raise taxes. He does not care that Washington has a spending problem, but by golly he brought us more burden with his Obama-care.

And as for his foreign policy, it is to embrace radical islam, down play terrorism, turn our backs on Israel and weaken our military.

This isn't about the next four years, this is about what Obama has already done.

President Obama's debate win was truly impressive and now makes three out of four debate wins for Obama/Biden. People seem to finally be realizing that Mitt Romney and the GOP have based an enormous amount of their election strategy on lies, hated and deceit. From the 72 million Americans that will be left without any health insurance, whatsoever, by year 2020, under Romney's plan (determined by two independent, non-partisan research studies available to the public), to women and minorities being drastically stripped of their equal rights because of his refusal to support initiatives like the Lily Ledbetter Act which enables women to be paid the same as men provided they do the same work (the first act passed by President Obama) or Hospital Visitation Rights which allows gay people the same visitation rights as straight people when a loved one is in hospital, Americans are seeing Mitt Romney for who he really is. From the West Coast to the East Coast and all of our our great country in between, we Americans are seeing from these debates that a Romney/Ryan plan will leave the middle class being burdened with much higher taxes while the wealthiest Americans pay less in tax because "it will help inspire job hiring" which evidence showed us in the Bush years, does not happen. Out of four debates neither Romney or Ryan could specify their "tax plan" despite being given numerous opportunities. That is not honest. That is not American. That is not integrity and that is certainly not Christian. Mitt Romney also has the highest disapproval rating, of all time, of any Presidential candidate, ever. Higher than Bush. We must understand this. The entire world hates the guy. We must be proud to be Americans. We must have a President who represents all of America and that we can be proud of. We are coming out of one of the most difficult economic times in our history in large part because of two wars we are finally ending. We are bringing our brothers and sisters home. But we cannot go backward. We must go forward. We are Americans. And we will prevail.

Of course Romney has a game plan just like the successes he had at Bain Capital. First of all he had to provide a game plan for his stockholders, bash and destroy the little useless companies to make profits for the big players. So now he wants to run the U.S. just like that and bash the common folk so that his stockholders (Koch Bros., Adelson, Karl Rove & Norquist) can be repaid. Maybe Adelson will be repaid with an ambassadorship to Spain. After all he wants to build a giant casino there to provide jobs for the out of work people in an almost bankrupt country. He could be the ambassador and run a casino at the same time. Karl Rove could be appointed Secretary of State and help create another war. And Norquist, hmmm let's see, let's combine the Dept. of Education, Commerce, and Interior and then he can tell all of those people on his committees how to vote or else they will lose their jobs there by cutting back on the government offices. We will also get rid of the estate tax and capital gains tax there by helping the rich become the super rich so they can climb the ladder of success and provide more jobs like in accounting and banking.

The look on the President's Face was one of leadership and determination, maybe what you saw was colored by the fact that there stood a person of color schooling a person that did not look like him or you. When the Arizona Governor poked her finger in the President's face you probably said "That uppity black man needs to be shown up" If you do not like the President because of his policies state which policy and how to change it. If you just do not like the President then it is hatred and you need to detox your self from the hatred.

That look was a response to how easy his win was and how ridiculously uninformed and out of touch Romney really is. Every time I hear Romney talk it's always when I'm president I will put Americans back to work, I will build a stronger military, I will, I will, I will. Unfortunately, he hasn't grasped the fact that it's not an "I" position. The President can't do much without the support of the House and Senate. Mitt is clueless!

I think the Democratic political machine should go after the Flip-Flopper Romney like they did with Kerry. What goes around comes around! Get out the flip-flops.

          Dear Friends:

The warnings to this nations President came early. Then the planes and fires and burning people jumping from the buildings, then the ash falling , our capital in flames and our fields. The Party, in the Executive Branch and Congress Republicans. 9/11 occurred despite warnings. They were Republicans!

Katrina and John, Rita, Wilma and almost all hurricanes after so far, I warned them. Gave the ratings, where they would hit and sent it to Republicans. No super fast response in place. Republicans! Were you there! The cost!

Our jobs and investments, including those you lost and businesses. They went to China. Nixon Administration, the party Republican. Were you there?

The bank failure, who did not act fast enough and created a lame duck in congress for the past 12 years. Were you there? the Party Republican. Did you loose money or your home or car? Republicans!

I warned the REPUBLICANS of the Earth Quake in Italy before it occurred. Yes sent it to the President, Bush Jr, and five Republican Senators. Did they warn Italy in 2006? No! All those lost lives and danger and disaster. No action no warning. Yes God gave me that insight and I shared it. Just as the Cyclones and hurricanes and Fires, storms and sand storms. I sent that to them just as I have to the present. So both parties and God can attest that I sent it. Sometimes other places and did they warn you. As God is God this occurred. Republicans given this message did not send this to Italy. Did they send it to Chili for the mine disaster, or help to Utah! or to West Virginia mine accident? I have the copies of the messages for almost every one and the dates. I warned them. Republicans did you send that message?

Visions of the nine eleven? Still? Katrina? 9/11 Republicans were warned and did not stop or defend this nation before. China has warned and threatened us. The wars we have had occurred and started during the Republican Party era! In the White House! Orin Hatch, of Utah, I sent the messages to you. Were you prejudice? Your office told me not to call you and give you any information as such. Orin Hatch, a Republican, as God is God and I have copies of the messages sent to you. Did you share them?

Seeding! Former President George W Bush Jr, how is it that your Administration years only talked about seeding to protect our forests and agriculture and production in the USA? You let China continue to take our jobs and our rain. You did nothing about unemployment. It grew! Korea sent missiles over toward Hawaii. Threats of which could turn into wars during this next administration with a Romney, Republican if in office.

What faith are you? I will never and I mean never provide any warning to Romney if he or his Administration were in office. Ryan a dark hole! It would not matter. Trains in the coast threats, I warned them of this and they did not listen. As God is God. All other Faiths other than Mormons, this nation needs your vote to protect. Vote Democratic! Hurry!

Do not let the Mormonism and Romney's polygamist heritage control your mind. Unions, teachers, nurses, labor, construction and large and small business, do you want to pay more taxes. Those walking in the streets of LA, Chicago, New York, Miami, Phoenix, and every little country town and city, do you want to PAY More Taxes?

How about taxes in every city, county, state and national increased on guns? Oh you would still have your Constitutional Amendment? How about more taxes for Costco, Wal Mart, Sam's Club and their oil pumps and their providers? Who would pay for this? You! That is what Romney would do? Latinos! Obama put a Latino in the Supreme Court! Obama put a Woman in his Administration. He is and represents and Biden, and Hillary Clinton and Holden all represent equality. Democrats need your vote and now! Obama and Biden! Mail in your vote if it is not to late. Get to the polls and vote!

Students want a job! We have put more on the table and more in jobs and school than ever before! This nation has a new generation! Obama and Biden has supported science, research, kept his promise about heath care( though it is still in the process of being completed). Construction, the end of the last administration compared to now! Remember the bank bailouts, auto close outs or threats! The Republican years! Construction down, or closed new home sales and construction! The Republican Bush years! Obama has been cleaning up and delivering! Put more back to work! vote Democratic and Obama and Biden. Maybe things will be safer! Should the USA seed for water for our fields! Central California it is taking this long to recoup from the Bush or Republican years! It is coming your way! Let that continue or we will fall back into Depression and the threat of Mormonism and Communism. For God's sake vote Democratic in this election. Amen.

Boener did you ever get a message from Dear Friends? How about the former Senators like Bennett of Utah! Did he prejudicely not provide the messages to the Pope or other states or to those of other faith than the Mormon?

Toby Harnden's analysis, DAILY MAIL - UK: Obama may have won the debate battle but he knows he is losing the election war to Romney

            PUBLISHED:01:21 EST, 23 October 2012| UPDATED: 13:27 EST, 23 October 2012

Obama may have won the Boca debate battle but he knows he is losing the election war to Romney.

If you had been on an extended vacation for the past four years, you would have been forgiven for watching this debate and thinking you were viewing a President Mitt Romney being challenged by a pretender called Barack Obama.

Obama, although clearly in command of foreign policy issues, clearly came into the debate believing he had to score points and change the dynamic of the race.

Going hard: President Barack Obama attacked Mitt Romney in the debate like a man who knew he was losing

In short, Obama started the 90 minutes here in Boca Raton, Florida believing he was losing his bid for re-election.

Romney, by contrast, felt he could play things safe. He was a kinder, gentler presence than he was in the second debate in Hempstead, New York, when he fought back hard against a hyper Obama desperate to make up for his catastrophic performance in the first showdown in Denver.

By and large, Romney succeeded in Boca. He came across as knowledgeable and reasonable and made no mistakes. In short, he passed the commander-in-chief test.

Having proved in the first debate he had the backbone, policy expertise and determination to try to tackle America's economic woes, tonight he showed that he was a plausible commander-in-chief. It was not an especially high bar, but he cleared it.

Obama entered the debate hall armed with a number of pre-cooked zingers and lines that he deployed adroitly. But at this stage if the campaign an incumbent President should be on a higher plane, looking down on a pipsqueak opponent daring to challenge the most powerful man in the world.

Final days: The Romney camp was cool and collected after the debate, while the Obama camp was frantic and working hard to spin the president's performance

When he should have been going big, Obama went small. At one point, he said: 'The fact is, while we were coordinating an international coalition to make sure these sanctions were effective, you were still invested in a Chinese state oil company that was doing business with the Iranian oil sector.'

This was the kind of 'oppo' point that a lowly apparatchik in Obama's Chicago headquarters should have been firing out via Twitter. Instead, the leader of the free world was using it in answer to a question about the Iranian nuclear threat.

Obama dripped with sarcasm. He said: 'Governor Romney maybe hasn't spent enough time looking at how our military works. You mentioned the Navy, for example, and that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916.

'Well, Governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets, because the nature of our military's changed. We have these things called aircraft carriers, where planes land on them. We have these ships that go underwater, nuclear submarines. And so the question is not a game of Battleship, where we're counting ships.'

At ease: Romney passed the Commander-in-Chief test on Monday night, appearing to be a credible force on foreign policy

There was laughter in the debate press room at this stuff. Doubtless there were Democrats high-fiving each other and Obama volunteers spontaneously reaching for their clipboards ready to venture into the night to get out the vote.

At times, Obama sounded like a cable television talking head. 'But Governor, when it comes to our foreign policy, you seem to want to import the foreign policies of the 1980s, just like the social policies of the 1950s and the economic policies of the 1920s.' This is what the high-minded post-partisan candidate of hope and change from 2008 has been reduced to.

But for the undecided voter - yes, such people do still exist - or the wavererer, such utterances will have been a distinct turn-off. For a President whose likeability was such an asset, to be resorting to attacks that will inevitably drive up his negatives looks a lot like panic.

Perhaps the intention was to goad Romney into an harsh retort or discombobulate him and force him into a silly error. If that was the case, Obama failed.

What we have seen in the three debates is an Obama who was so badly knocked off balance in the first meeting that he has been unable to steady himself in the two subsequent encounters.

In the second and third debates, he may well have had little other option but to lash out as he has but the overall impression left has been of a President who was asleep in Denver, felt compelled to let everyone know he had woken up in Hempstead and in Boca Raton was frantically trying to tear down his opponent.

Trailing in the polls: Obama has fallen behind Romney by two percentage points, according to the latest poll

After the debate, the demeanours of the two campaigns - just as of the two candidates - were instructive. Obama's campaign manager Jim Messina was nervous and babbling, saying again and again that Romney has been 'uncertain and unsteady' and insisting: 'Romney did not look like a commander-in-chief. He did not pass the test and that's a very bad moment for the Romney campaign.'

There were certainly criticisms that could be leveled at Romney's performance. At times, his repeated talk of peace and even the need for 'gender equality' in the Middle East seemed like a humorous skit about a bellicose Republican pretending that he was a touchy-feely guy after all.

Good footing: The Romney campaign believes the Republican candidate is in a the right place to capture the presidency

But the Obama campaign spin, like the Obama lines in the debate, was obviously pre-cooked - what Messina was saying had been sketched out before the debate had even taken place.

By contrast, the Romney aides were relaxed, some of them almost serene. They felt that the race was going their way and the trajectory had not been changed by the night's proceedings.

Their man had stuck to the plan of coming across as reasonable, even-tempered, magnanimous - he agreed with Obama far more often that most conservatives would have liked - and competent. In short, as the kind of candidate who would be entirely acceptable to a late-deciding swing voter who might have voted Obama in 2008 but since soured.

Chief strategist Stuart Stevens was smiling and full of wisecracks. Eric Fehrnstrom, a Boston bruiser and enforcer within Romney's inner circle was roaring with laughter at the ideas of starting a #bayonetsandhorses Twitter campaign to rival the Obama campaign's much - and rightly - mocked "BigBird, #binders and #Romnesia.

'Mitt's on the march across the map,' he said, intimating that Romney would be visiting Wisconsin - previously thought to be safely Democratic - and perhaps even Pennsylvania and Michigan in the final fortnight. 'He's like General Sherman.'

Bob White, a former colleague at Bain Capital and one of Romney's closest friends, was discussing football and holding court with a group of reporters, a number of whom now clearly think that Romney will probably be being sworn in as President in January.

Most of the snap debate polls gave Obama the advantage on the night over Romney. That was what happened after Hempstead, which failed to move the needle subsequently for Obama either nationally or in the swing states.

Debates are not about who "won" on the night - an almost nonsensical measure. They are about how the night affects the shape of the race. By that measure, Obama, who needed to change things, may have "won" the debate battle but is still losing the election war.

              OMG READ THIS-

Want to read something mind blowing from Twitter-
Obama Supporters Continue Threats To Riot, Assassinate Romney

Secret Service attention fails to dampen violent Twitter comments

              ...
Despite the issue garnering a significant amount of media interest as well as the attention of the Secret Service, Obama supporters continued their threats to riot and assassinate Mitt Romney if Obama loses in the aftermath of last night’s presidential debate.

As we reported last week, Twitter has been flooded recently with violent comments from Obama supporters. The increase in volume of the comments seemed to coincide with Romney’s poll numbers edging higher against Obama.

Not only have Obama voters been making open threats that they will riot and cause mayhem, they have also been caught making direct threats to assassinate Mitt Romney, prompting t
he Secret Service to announce that it was “aware” of the threats and would “conduct appropriate follow up if necessary.”

Despite the fact that the media reported extensively on threats made against Obama prior to the 2008 election, their silence on the threats made against Romney has been deafening. Indeed, the act of a few old guys hanging up empty chairs in reference to Clint Eastwood’s RNC speech garnered substantially more coverage and concern from the press compared to hundreds if not thousands of tweets threatening violence against Mitt Romney.

Americans who simply display political signs expressing opposition to Obama’s policies have been treated as potential violent threats by authorities in the past, and yet not a single Twitter user has faced retribution for making direct and sometimes graphic death threats against Romney.

Leftists routinely cry foul and attempt to demonize conservatives as violent extremists whenever online rhetoric gets heated, and yet when their own engage in even worse conduct, their behavior is absolved and the media is disinterested.

Before the Secret Service announced they were investigating the threats, Obama front group Think Progress attempted to imply that the whole story was somehow a racist contrivance dreamed up by the Drudge Report and Infowars.

Here are just a selection of tweets from Obama supporters threatening riots and violence during and after last night’s foreign policy debate. There are too many to reprint in full.

If the Secret Service does plan on following this up, they are going to be very busy indeed.

Obama, why did you speak so many untruths in the third debate again?

According to FACTCHECK.org you told the following untruths:

                    • President Obama erred when he accused Mitt Romney of saying during the 2008 campaign that “we should ask Pakistan for permission” before going into that country to kill or capture terrorists. What Romney said was that he’d “keep our options quiet.”
                    • Obama wrongly accused Romney of not telling the truth when Romney said “you and I agreed” some U.S. troops should be left in Iraq. In fact, the president tried and failed to negotiate an agreement to keep 3,000 to 4,000 support troops there; Romney said he would have left 10,000 to 30,000.
                    • Obama said unemployment among military veterans is lower than for the general population. That’s true for veterans generally but not for veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
                    • Obama claimed the record would back him up when he accused Romney of opposing any federal “help” or “assistance” for troubled automakers. In fact, the record shows Romney supported federal loan guarantees.
                    • Obama wrongly claimed Romney called Russia the “biggest geopolitical threat facing America.” Actually, Romney called Russia a “foe” and not a “threat.” He said “the greatest threat that the world faces is a nuclear Iran.”

The current moron-in-charge appeared to be a jake willy junior flip instead of presidential! He failed to understand that the military is strapped by outdated and lost equipmennt in the two wars. He comes out with childish lines about playing battleship when he is looking like an idiot!

Romney understand the need for jobs and this out weighs Obozo and his green energy BS along with the education BS! You go to college to get a degree and hope for a good paying job and not working at Mickey D's! Most of those who are wanting a good education don't have outside foreign money being sent to them to get an education like Obama received!

Your education is worthless unless the economy is good and you can get a good paying job to pay down you debt and live! Obozo is an imbecile!

Romney could have slapped him upside his big ears and wiped the stupid grin off his face with Libya and the screw up by Obama and his stupid crew, however, Romney know the priority #1 is the jobs and the economy! He also knows that Obama needs to pay back a ton of money to his contributors and wants to use taxpayer money.

Payback may have to wait until Obama gets another job as a community organizer in Chicago or better yet Yemen!

This fool is going to lose and can take his stupid crew of Cutter, Plouffe, Gibbs, Axlehead, Reid, Pelosi, Carney and hopefully the loser Dicky Doo Derbin with him!

You far left liberal freaks and latte suckups need to get the message, Obama is done!!

I believe you may be right, Obama will lose. Then, about 1-2 years into Mitt's office, the economy will CONTINUE to improve thanks to the current policies we have today, and we will get involved in some war or skirmish, possibly with Iran or god forbid, Russia.

Likely brought on by postering that was not needed, rather a self fulfilling prophecy. Mitt and the GOP will point and say "See we were right, we all needed to live in fear" This will drag on until the next election, where fear will be used to drive another GOP term. Then, the economy will start to tank, just in time for the vampires on wall street to make a killing. Leaving the country much as it was in 2008. We'll elect another democrat to clean up the mess, then the country's amnesia will kick in all over again. And the GOP says we don't need more money on public education...of course not, if we had that and allowed ALL citizens to vote, they'd be extinct.

Anyone who thinks Obama is in the driver's seat for this election will be sorely disappointed the day after election day when the results are announced. No only is the Obama campaing NOT in the driver's seat, they are further behind than what the polls are showing. Most people made their minds up after the first debate. There are only a few stragglers now. Not enough to sway the election away from Romney.

Your source of information tells you that the polls are wrong and Obama is even farther behind Mitt.

I know that Limbaugh says that, but then again a scumbag like him can only appeal to somebody like you.

funny- three weeks ago the polls were a liberal conspiracy. Two weeks ago Benghazi was a coverup.

Last night Mittens doesnt attack on Libya, has 17 Neo con foreign affairs experts on his staff and dumps all over their policies.

Can someone on the right explain how Romneys let Detroit go bankrupt statement is now a support for the auto industry?

                            Definition of SOCIALISM

                            Merriam-Webster

1: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods

2 a: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property

b: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state

Last I checked, the U.S. is realllllllly far from meeting this criteria......

Obama grew up dreaming of communism. Even said so in his autobiography about who he chose to hang out with in college. Another four years without having to worry about re-election, all hell will break loose.

To the educated, we all dream of communism. You seem ot associate communism the ideal with communism the implementation.

The ideal is good, on paper. However, it does not take into account human greed. This is why capitalism works fairly well, for a human invention at least. It uses greed as the driving mechanism of control and growth. It is not perfect, its main flaw being that it relies on continuous growth to work, and as a result is not sustainable in the long term, subject to boom and bust cycles(unless regulation and manipulation is added to control it)

Ok, Road Warrior, I see your links, read them. What is your point? So he endorses Obama, what do you think that means?

That automatically, our president is going to come in, change the entire country, single handedly, to communism?

From the article: "Chavez, who has led the socialist government for 14 years, said he would like to have “normal” relations with the US government.

This is from a man who has been one of the world's most outspoken critics of the United States and has frequently insulted the White House during his time in office"

Explain how it is bad that a former critic converted to a supporter, is a bad thing? And how does that imply, Obama will become/is communist?

All liberal ideas work well on paper. The game plan is always a winning one until the rubber meets the road.

So, trying to understand your position, it seems you have run out of intelligence, logic, and reason. You throw out "catch phrases" and meaningless unquantifiable phrases like "evil loves evil". Yet, you do not discuss your position and how you arrived at it.

So I'll stoop to your level:

Optimism vs pessimism. Forward vs backward. Reason vs faith. Liberal vs. Conservative. Obama vs Romney

Instead of improving your lack of education, you want the rest of the country to descend to your level to feel good about yourself.

If you are morally bankrupt, don't impose it on the rest.

Rick, so what you're advocating, is a country where self interest is allowed to run amok regardless of implications it has on surrounding citizens. So, I can dump raw sewage out of my back door, let it flood the neighborhood, and all government agencies that would keep me from doing so would not exist, and I would then be able to continue to do so...???
