LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- With a touch of humor and at one point admonition, President Obama urged supporters at a Los Angeles fundraiser here not to lose enthusiasm for his campaign just because he had one lousy debate performance.
The president kicked off his remarks with an allusion to last Wednesday night that the whole crowd seemed to pick up on. Praising his opening acts at the Nokia Theater here, which included Stevie Wonder, Jon Bon Jovi and Katy Perry, Obama said, “These guys perform flawlessly night after night.”
“I can’t always say the same,” he continued, waiting a beat for comic timing.
And later he reminded his audience that he had some imperfect moments during the last campaign as well.
“Everybody always remembers the victory but they don’t always remember the bumps in the road; things always look good in retrospect.
“But in the middle of it, we were – we made all kinds of mistakes. We goofed up, I goofed up, but the American people carried us forward,” urging his supporters not to forget that they stuck by him even when he hiccupped in 2008 – something he hopes they do over the next 30 days.

After 4 years of Mr Obama's on the job training, he still doesn't have the important stuff at the front of the agenda. "The Government Accountability Institute today released details of an eight-month probe into fundraising by the presidential candidates and all House and Senate candidates that also shows that the president's outreach and fundraising have targeted websites in Chinese, Arabic, Thai, and Korean. Donations from foreign nations are illegal."
When this story breaks, BO is toast.

Also,,, it isn't just foreign nations who can't give,,, it is also foreign people.. I don't know the % of people in America who watch Fox news,, but my guess is not more than 20 percent,,, and 75% of those were already going to vote for Gov. Romney.. The "Old" Media just seems to act as press secretary for whomever the lib is...... What they don't realize I guess is that as Americans get poorer,,, it is less and less likely that we will be able to afford their products..

If you lost your job because of this administrations agenda, you would think differently. You do not give a damn about the thousands of coal miners that have lost their job. What answers do you or Obama have to get these people employed with good wages?

We have $16 Trillion Dollar debt and another $1.1 Trillion Dollars in deficit spending this year, again. Obama wants to give everything away but someone has to pay for it sooner or later. When do you want to start paying your share and the share of the people that do not have jobs?
We needed and still need jobs so what did we get? We got Obama-Care a brand new entitlement plan to pay for. The clincher is that we can not afford the entitlement plans we have right now. Not a Romney supporter, nor an Obama supporter, really, though I did vote for him in 2008.
But I would say if anything is to blame for the lack of enthusiasm, at least on my part, it is not one debate performance, it is the last four years. It's been a really, really horrible four years for me, Mr. President, and under your watch it is not getting better seemingly.
And yeah I know, Republican obstruction, yadda yadda. But President Obama, you and Harry Reid have seemed more interested in whining about the obstruction and caving to Republican hostage taking than breaking them or even trying. The interest in politicking as opposed to smashing the Republicans to do good things for the American people is one reason I'm not terribly interested in voting for you or your Democrats.
What are you going to do for the next four years? Entertain more hostage taking, fail to fix the filibuster and engage in more whining about obstruction you and your party enabled at every turn?
I'd almost rather have a Republican in office than listen to more.

The Republican mantra since Reagan has been, 'the federal government is the enemy, we need to eliminate it!' They chose that lie because that was the only way the rich could get richer - to eliminate honesty, integrity, and fairness from our social contract. Fact is, WE are the government, many have just been brainwashed into abandoning that basic element of the American system so that the sh*t heads at the top can accumulate more.
I cannot disagree with your position, I just have a little hope left that if the Congress turned blue and Obama got elected to 4 more, we could see some better times. It is clear that we will not if Romney gets in. I have never embraced violence as a solution, but it seems sort of inevitable.

The stench in California has gotten really bad lately, especially the last two days. Now I found out the reason why the JB* is in town. Darn if I had know that I would have gotten out of the state. Normally I would leave here but the home if paid for.Now I need some ones help, an intervention, how do you cure someone that has drunken the Kool-aid. My son like so many his age that do not have the time to follow the douc__bag and all the lies that he's been spewing with forked tongue believes he needs to be reelected. The really bad thing is that he works in the defense industry. He's been there for 12 years and doesn't realize what the JB* is doing.That is the problem with the youth, well younger then me. They don't have the time to research what this douc__bag is doing. Raising kids working taking his kids to karate, soccer, etc. Home schooling which really is working out better then regular school. I really do praise them for the time they give their kids.

Ok, I will try to help you. It has to do with HOW you get rich. For instance, Sam Walton got rich by treating his employees fairly and CREATING a product that the public could use. We win, employees win, and he wins. Of course, ever since Sam left the planet, the small minded greed based Romney types have taken over Walmart and turned it into a job crusher like many in the 1% are want to do.
Robme has done nothing but buy up companies that are already producing and figure out how to steal the structure out from under them so he could make another buck. Everybody but him loses, he wins.
See how well it works? If you cannot see through the lies and manipulation of the Republican model since Reagan, you need to go back to school and get some courses in economics and bookkeeping.

But Walton was allowed to put them out of business because he had a better business model, that is called free enterprise and even though many small businesses lost out, that is just the way it is in a free enterprise system. You snooze, you loose! Now, as I pointed out in my post, Walmart is no longer free enterprise, it is a bully. That is the ultimate result of an unregulated system.
Unfortunately, Romney is not free enterprise, never was. He started life as a corporate raider that does not employ new ideas to make things better, he simply employs power and money he inherited to crush everyone around him. Romney will say anything and play whatever role his puppet masters tell him to play to get into office so they can get the last few dollars out of our pockets before the whole thing falls into civil war.
Obama got to Harvard because he worked hard, Romney barely got through college because his daddy paid for it. See any difference there?

Actually, during Sam's time, there was a Walmart policy of American products only. When a Republican named Glass took over the helm, the logos as you walk into any Walmart were taken down and the products from China started filling the shelves. That is about the same time that the demographics of the employees shifted from full time with benefits to part time without. Great job there Retardicans at holding onto core American values.
This is just another example of Republicans saying anything they think the American voter wants to hear as they set up to grab everything in sight.

Obama's Plan for a Second Term :

This scheme will be known as R A P E (Retire Aged People Early).
Persons selected to be R A P E D can apply to Congress to be considered for the SHAFT program (Special Help After Forced Termination).
Persons who have been R A P E D and SHAFTED will be reviewed under the
S C R E W program (System Covering Retired-Early Workers).
A person may be R A P E D once, SHAFTED twice and S C R E W E D as many times as Congress deems appropriate.
Persons who have been R A P E D could get A I D S (Additional Income for Dependents & Spouse's) or H E R P E S (Half Earnings for Retired Personnel Early Severance).
Obviously persons who get A I D S or H E R P E S will not be SHAFTED or
S C R E W E D any further by Congress.
Persons who are not R A P E D and are staying at work will receive as much S H ! T (Special High Intensity Training) as possible. Congress has always prided themselves on the amount of S H ! T they give our citizens.

Not a bad deal, most can make a good living working for some type of CEO. Whether it's a man or a woman or a family run business with more than 1 employees that's a plus for us we have a job. I'm not voting for Romney (at this point) but I do find annoying that Obama keeps needing a kick up the ass to connect with his public. He's right, this HAS happened before. And it will probably happen again.
While I hope he's focused on running the actual country, but a big part of that is being connected with your people. And the people wanted to see something better at that debate. There's only three of them, I would have expected he'd been better prepared. There's no excuse next time.

If you like Obama-Care and the idea that a person will have to pay for this from the time of birth to the time of death whit the possibility of being tracked by the IRS for collections then Obama is you man. I would rather keep my money and do it my way, after all very few of us will use the health insurance until we are in our late 30's or so.
The forcing Obama-Care on us was a new low for any politician, after we repeated said "No" we don't want it. That rubs a different way than say being free!!
In order to lose enthusiasm you have to have enthusiasm. Just look around. A faded Obama/biden poster is not enthusiasm.

It was not an issue of being prepared, it was an issue of being out bullied. Robme made repeated statements that he knows are not true as he came off as the NEW Robme. He postured himself as a moderate which we all know he cannot do if he becomes president, his gang of thieves will not allow it.
