Video: Obama stump speech lines don't pack same punch in debate

President Barack Obama employed some of his most popular campaign trail lines during Wednesday’s presidential debate in Denver, Colo., but they didn’t seem as effective as when delivered in front of a crowd of cheering supporters.

If that last debate were a prize fight, it would have been stopped in the first round. Obama was doing too much damage to Mitt's fists with his face.

OK HATERS....LINE UP WITH YOUR LIES AND TRIPE....SWALLOW THIS:

The U.S. economy added 114,000 jobs last month, while the unemployment rate fell to 7.8%, the Labor Department says.

The number of jobs added is roughly in line with economists' forecasts. However, the decline in unemployment was greater than expected and the number of jobs added in August was revised higher than originally reported.

Say What?

In September, the number of job losers and persons who completed temporary jobs
decreased by 468,000 to 6.5 million. (See table A-11.)

The number of persons unemployed for less than 5 weeks declined by 302,000 over
the month to 2.5 million. The number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for
27 weeks or more) was little changed at 4.8 million and accounted for 40.1
percent of the unemployed. (See table A-12.)

Total employment rose by 873,000 in September, following 3 months of little
change. The employment-population ratio increased by 0.4 percentage point to
58.7 percent, after edging down in the prior 2 months. The overall trend in
the employment-population ratio for this year has been flat. The civilian labor
force rose by 418,000 to 155.1 million in September, while the labor force
participation rate was little changed at 63.6 percent. (See table A-1.)

The number of persons employed part time for economic reasons (sometimes
referred to as involuntary part-time workers) rose from 8.0 million in August
to 8.6 million in September. These individuals were working part time because
their hours had been cut back or because they were unable to find a full-time
job. (See table A-8.)

In September, 2.5 million persons were marginally attached to the labor force,
essentially unchanged from a year earlier. (These data are not seasonally
adjusted.) These individuals were not in the labor force, wanted and were
available for work, and had looked for a job sometime in the prior 12 months.
They were not counted as unemployed because they had not searched for work
in the 4 weeks preceding the survey. (See table A-16.)

114,000 new jobs - 5,000 in construction/9,400 in retail. Of those 9,400 "new retail jobs" what is the percentage of seasonal hire (aka temporary) versus long term sustainable positions? Most retailers hire in September for the holidays and these positions typically end just after January 1st. So, IF this is seasonal part-time emploment for the holiday's this would give an artificial boost to the employment figures that will slump again in early January.

Again IF this is the seasonal hiring that most retailers hire for the holiday's then they are usually part-time employees earning minimum wage.

President Obama asks Lockheed Martin, and others, to violate federal law and postpone layoff announcements. For that favor, tax dollars with reimburse those private companies.

The unemployment numbers suddenly moves downward, leaving many people scratching their heads.

And how does the unemployment rate drop THIS month when more jobs were created in August, and even more in July? http://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES0000000001?output_view=net_1mth

Already, the GOP claims the numbers, 7.8% are wrong...they are always wrong....except when they are over 8%....ANOTHER GOP TALKING POINT GONE!

They will ignore the fact (because it is a fact) that 300,000 baby boomers leave the workforce every month, that is 2,700,000 so far in 2012 and that will happen EVERY MONTH through the end of 2019

Al Gore added yet another excuse for President Obama's debate performance. Al Gore suggested that President Obama's late arrival to Denver did not allow President Obama to acclimate himself to the altitude.

At least it wasn't President Clinton asserting that President Obama was too high.

The big problem with the economy is that the rich do not have enough money, and the poor have too much.

Let me get this straight, romneys says take away 20 then add 20 so you pay the same amount in taxes. I agree minus 20 plus 20 is ZERO. So why do it? Might it be that you take away 20 from all then make the poor and middleclass pay theirs back plus the rich? Came out of Romneys own mouth that the rich would never pay more. One other thing; Romney said he talked to middle-class man that paid 50% in taxes, why did he not give the man romney's accountants name since Romney pays less than 15%? Either romney wants the poorer man to pay Romney's share of taxes or it was a big fat whopper, either way shows you the class of Romney.

Jan 20,2009 unemployment was 7.8%, and the Bush Jobs Lost Freight Train did not screech to a halt, it kept running full steam ahead until July 2009, unemployment hit 10.1%. The train slowed down and in September it finally stopped. Jobs moved to positive for the first time, and unemployment started to edge down.

By getting back to 7.8%, after being at 10.1% is awesome...in only 31 months. A drop of 2.3%! That is an outstanding achievement, especially if you factor in the House blocking every attempt to get a bill through, plus 176 filibusters in the Senate by the GOP. Every bill the GOP presented contains a windfall for big business or the wealthy.

TAX CUTS FOR THE WEALTHY ARE NOT JOBS BILLS!

The only unique aspect of Mitt is his pathological lies. During the primaries an interviewer on Fox asked Gingrich if he was actually saying that Romney was a liar, and he declared, "Yes!" Romney used a fusillade of lies against every primary opponent who won any primary election, just as he did against John McCain in their final one-on-one debate in 2008.

I only have one thing to say and that's anyone who votes for either the Democrates or Republican's is dumb, there the one's that put us in this mess. We have 39 other political parties in the US let's give them a try can do any worse that's for sure.
