Feisty, I wish I could watch this video, however, I have lost the sound on my lap top so I'll have to look for Mark or Domenico on MSNBC today to hear what they have to say. With a month to go, I am interested in why these polls are showing the president up in so many of the swing states.

I think that where we are as a nation today, a person like Mitt with his background is the last thing this country needs. Seems to me the country is becoming more "one" nation again, slowly. We're in this together.

They see a president who is fighting for all of us, with zero help from Congress and the polls are just reflecting the appreciation and bond we have developed for President Obama.

We never felt a connection to Romney. The years in between these last two elections, Romney never felt concerned about us. Never. With all his money, he did nothing. This country is so rich, as we can see by all the money being poured into this election.

There's a difference between the two parties. The D's are donating to the president for a better tomorrow for all. The R's are donating for a richer wallet for themselves. They have said as much.

So now we're saying - we have our president and we're standing with him.

At least that's my take on the polls from what I'm hearing and seeing at President Obama's campaign stops.

He has inspired so many over the years. And people can see that he's a good person who has worked very hard for us.

Romney never did.

Will Obama get past the fact that he is probably responsible for our Ambassador's death? We find that Obama's victory tour of killing Bin Laden may now be behind the attacks on our Embassies. Great guy for our foreign policy wouldn't you say. The movie trailer was all a ruse to cover up the real facts. It was a terrorist attack Mr. President and you probably caused it.

Mitt -what has he done for the past 5 years? Nothing!!!!

If you decide President Obama was responsible for the attack on the embassy, then Bush was responsible for the 9/11/2001 attacks. He and Condi Rice had received numerous warnings from the CIA that we would be attacked - using our own aircraft - yet chose not only to ignore them but to not warn the airlines either. They didn't want to cause "panic."

Garrett Haake, NBC tweet:

March or April-sized crowd for Romney in Valley Forge, PA today. A few hundred supporters gathered for an indoor rally outside Philly.

########

Word out on the internets is that Mitt is spending more time having fundraisers to pay off debts than he is campaigning.

DailyKos:

It's a serious dilemma for Team Red. Romney's $50 million in the bank (along with $15 million in debts) is nearly $40 million less than Obama's $89 million. And unlike Obama, that kitty isn't being constantly refreshed.

And as Markos points out, for all the rallies and money spent in Ohio by Romney/Ryan, it didn't seem to help one iota in that state.

So now PA is in play according to Mitt?

Serious question: Is he saying that just to raise money knowing full well he can't win in PA?

If Romney's crowds in PA are that small, he knows full well he can't win there.

So, forget the polls for a minute. Shouldn't this crowd size tell us something?

He's lying.

btw, Lawrence O'Donnell's rewrite on Romney last night was brutal. I too remember those Vietnam days, and the guys I went to school with did their homework, which is why they demonstrated against the war. Not one of them demonstrated for the draft.

Only a Mitt Romney would do that. No one else.

This campaign definitely is coming down to likeability, trust, and a feeling of which candidate is on our side. And anyone who marches in favor of a draft yet doesn't serve himself is seriously lacking in character.

Seriously.

Republicans swept into power in 2010, in the expectation they would focus on job creation, but did they? No!

Instead, Republicans slowed down the economic recovery in every way they could. Just like in states where they won control of legislatures, they focused on passing voter suppression bills instead of on creating jobs. Maine's Republican legislature passed health care insurance "reform" that allowed companies to charge rural and elderly clients MORE for their premiums. It increased profits for the insurance industry, but it hurt a majority of Maine's citiizens.

Why? Well the short answer is we would not be the great nation we are today without redistribution, we would never have out lasted the Soviet Union without redistribution, and we would now be speaking German without the governments power of redistribution. Redistribution brings resources to the bottom allowing more to succeed. All redistribution dollars flowing to the bottom ends up at the top with interest. It has always been a win win for our nation when we slowed it up is when we fall/fail, see Bush 2000-2008.

Polls may not matter, but since Romney doesn't have a brother who's a governor of a swing state he will need some help. I wonder if the GOP rejected a plan to introdcue a Green Party candidate?

This is not the first time that democrats have celebrated in September.

It's very simple. The polls had Romney up in the early summer, and Obama didn't like it. David Axelrod made a few calls to Gallup questioning their methodology, and the justice department (you know, Eric Holder), followed up by joining in a three year old lawsuit against Gallup on a unrelated matter.

Presto! Changeo! Obama's ahead.

For those of you on this board who support Romney, don't expect much gratification from any media outlet between now and election day, but don't let the SOB's get you down. They don't control the poll that counts, at least not yet.

True. Obama's sullied the office of the president by consistently resorting to lies and misinformation in his campaign to keep his government job. He is without a doubt, the worst president in US history.

Actually, President Obama ranks fairly high among historians and scholars among presidents. Bush Jr., on the other hand, is cruising with the under-achievers in this group:

Hmmm...high among historians and scholars? Could it be that these historians and scholars haven't noticed Obama's horrible record? Or could it be that they are Obama supporters? US News is one of the most biased rags on the newsstand so using them to proove your point is ludicrous.

I was no supporter or Bush but Obama far out distances him in over spending, bad foreign policy, poor leadership, and inability to deal with the country's issues.

It could also be you are too uneducated and self-involved to understand what they are saying or to recognize the truth when you see it. You might want to go back to school for a fresh injection of knowledge.

Obama is a spawn of Lucifer.

The only people that will vote for Obama are possessed by the Devil.

It never mattered who the Republicans nominated. Providence is against them. The fact that R and R are such lousy candidates just improves ballot outcomes for the Dems. This is the END of the Reagan era. The people, as slow and dim as they are, have finally realized they have been played for fools for 30 years. Sure, there will always be pea brained, useful idiot pawns (i.e., Republicans) for the rich and powerful, but there will be less and less.

Well, you're right about one thing, Jimee. It is the end of the Reagan era - an era of economic growth and low unemployment rate. The Obama era - huge deficit spending, high unemployment, bad foreign policy, and a sinking economy. What fun.

Forget about RMoney: he is little more than a haircut worth 250 million bucks. The dude is toast. You truly do have to hit Mitt upside the head before he sees where his best interests lie. He has lived his life totally clueless as to how average citizens (in fact, almost any less than his 1% status live). Lords of the Manor always have a hard time grasping the lives of the peasants.

Still, impressionable and easily duped useful idiot Republican voters are easily fooled by charming billionaires. PT Barnum will continue to be correct about a suckers as long as there are pea brained right wing NUTS.

Pretty amazing that people want to vote an ineffective poor leader back into the White House. Guess they haven't noticed the millions of unemployed, the out of control deficit, and an economy in the toilet.

                Go figure...

Quit with the POLLS already!! SLANTED, all of them. Anyone sick of POLLS, chime in on this conversation. Anyone tired of having news reporters divide us. Even making stuff up.

When I started to read the fine print in each of the POLLS, and many of the POLLS did not even have fine print. People, if you are going to get caught up in the POLLS, POLLS, POLLS, then seek out the facts on any of the POLLS. Digging into the facts, and it took a lot of research. I found that the numbers of people (democrats / republicans / independents) were misused in most of the polls just to obtain the headline the writer or news agency wanted to slant to. Just to make a headline.

POLLS are a mania. 99% HYPE. A picture created to distract us people from discussing the real issues in our day. Our food bills, our gas bills, our utility bills. How do you feel about your bills? Do you feel unsure of the future? Unsure of your employment? Unsure of your ability to pay your rent or mortgage? These are real issues. A POLL is not an issue. Tell the news medias you want them to discuss the issues - STOP WITH THE POLLS. Start talking about the issues. And tell the medias to stop misleading us. Not just in the POLLS, but in the facts. We want the FACTS, We deserve to be told the truth. The truth will allow us to make informed decisions.
Not decisions based off of skewed information, outright lies, made up things, edited videos, not one convienent piece of a statement of what someone said to slant what they said. All reporters, listen up. Tell your fellow Americans the whole story with all facts intact. Not based on what you heard someone else say. Are not we as Americans so sick and tired of lies. Lies by politicians, by media. Quit the POLLS, who cares? What does a POLL do for us? Not one thing!!

What does people and how they tell us how they feel about things in their daily life do for us? It gives us a feel for how we feel about the real issues. How they feel about food prices, how they feel about gas prices, how they feel about their future, how they feel about this great country America. That will unite us. That gives us a sense of how we feel about real concerns, real problems, real issues. Let's talk about real hope, real inspiration. Let us each inspire others around us to be proud we are PEOPLE of AMERICA. Use your American Voices to tell others how you feel. Don't restate what you hear others that have told you how you feel. Tell your truth. From your heart.

First off, why are we being misled so much by the medias? THE MAJOR THING IS: Why all this distraction in all the medias about POLLS? All this POLLS POLLS POLLS prevents us from getting through to real articles about the issues. Do not believe any of the POLLS. They are slanted to get the numbers the news agency wants to have you believe.

Do not let the media or POLLS impact you. THE OTHER IS LABELS. Others use LABELS to slant or distract or try and pit us Americans against each other. We are PEOPLE. What can you do? Remove the LABELS.

No LABELS. LABELS are pinned on by others that want to impact your opinion. To get you emotionally involved. Remove the LABELS; Remove Democrats. Remove republicans. Remove Independents. Remove Black, white, and all color, profession, ethnicity, age, even incomes. Every one of them is just a LABEL. We are PEOPLE!

You will find it hard at first to not use LABELS in your thinking. Not using LABELS in your conversations. The media and politicians have trained us too well with their LABELS. Wait until you feel it run through your veins that you, me, everyone – we are PEOPLE! Strip the LABELS away. Once you remove any LABELS, it will still be a task to determine how you feel, but removing the LABELS will make it be what it is. PEOPLE. Your PEOPLE, my PEOPLE, our PEOPLE, America’s PEOPLE. Then just focus on what you personally are trying to decide on - as your PERSON.

What are your issues? What are your concerns? How do you feel? What are your children’s concerns? What are your parent’s concerns?

Are you better off at the grocery store this week than you were last week?

Are you feeling more secure, or feeling less secure about your job, your spouse’s job, your children’s future this week than you were last week?

Are you feeling more or less secure about your family’s security this week than you were last week?

Do you know others who have lost their job?

Do you know others that have lost their home? How are your savings? Do you know others who are under tremendous stress because of financial reasons, peer pressures; the discussion of politics at home, between spouses, in families, at work that makes Americans sick to hear us tear down other PEOPLE.

Speak to how your life is, what do you feel about your day to day. Not POLLS, not LABELS. How are you today fellow American?

My gut feels sick. My business partner’s gut feels sick. Our significant others feel sick in the stomach. Does yours? Does all this fighting between us as Americans in America make you feel sick?

You as an American have a voice - American Voices. Tell others how you feel about your concerns, not the politicians.

Our president begs Muslim to forgive him for the video, when it wasn’t the video that caused it,” It's about time people started stating the truth
