The Obama campaign announced it will begin airing a second TV ad hitting Romney over his “47%” remarks. The ad will run in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Virginia. (Note the state where this won't air: Wisconsin.)
The first TV ad seizing on "47%" -- released yesterday -- was specific to just Ohio.
The script of this latest TV ad:
When Mitt Romney dismissed 47% of Americans for not pulling their weight, he attacked millions of hard working people making 25, 35, 45 thousand dollars a year…
They pay social security taxes. State taxes. Local taxes. Gas, sales, and property taxes.
Romney paid just 14 percent in taxes last year.
On over 13 million in income.
Almost all from investments.
Instead of attacking folks who work for a living…
Shouldn’t we stand up for them?

I have seen the Ohio ad, and the Obama campaign actually goes pretty easy on Romney. They stressed the inaccuracy of the "no taxes" part of the speech and the "its not my job to worry about those people" line.
They gave Romney a pass on the demeaning comments about being dependent on government and the lack of personal responsibility.
I will admit I am biased, but I think the campaign did a fairly balanced ad that focused on the policy issues and avoided the personal insults.
Paul Ryan - The Deficit? I Built That!
Obama can afford to take the high road at this stage of his campaign. He leads in all the swing states and the debates are coming soon. He just needs to stay the course. Mitt "Why Are There No Roll Up Windows In Airliners?" Romney, on the other hand, is the candidate who's under huge pressure. He is going to be forced to push all his chips into the middle of the table at the debates and if he can't make an iron-clad case that he should be president, Mitt is one and done!
President Obama has got a lock on the election. It is just low comedy for Willard from here to November.
Ever since I saw that tape of Romney, I've said, if every voter in America sees these remarks Romney made in private, he will surely lose the election by a wide margin.

Amy -
I have seen multiple reports that state independent voters are being turned off by those comments. The last line of the statement was the most telling -
I have heard Republicans try to "spin" by saying it was a call for personal responsibility, or that Romney was just saying he couldn't capture their votes, but the meaning is pretty clear:
Romney looks down on "those people" and doesn't feel they are worthy of his concern.
TNSEVOL - both Mitt and Annie can't stand being areound "those people." It is clear they think they are better than others and it shows in their every appearance. We don't need people who believe they are "royalty" in our White House.

Please do not form the opinion that Obama will win. This race is close enough that everyone of us needs to vote... This election is just as important if not more so than in 2008.
While I believe Romney is more in the middle than he claims to be now, he will have tea baggers and the extreme right to answer to. We cannot allow the GOP to return to power as long as they are controlled by a pledge to Grover Norquist or the Tea Party.
LOL I guess if you don't have a record to run O & Joe gotta run with this.
I don't like Mitt Robme, and I don't believe that the majority of Republicans do either.
I feel the same way about the Teagaggers who have not produced ONE SINGLE JOB since used they words JOB JOBS JOBS in order for THEM to get their job in Washington.
Vote a straight Democratic Ticket this November!

For those of you on the right who wonder whether Obama should have taken the actions (Fiscal stimulus, auto bailout, Bank bailout, etc.) he took during 2009 recession, should read the excerpts from Mark Zandi, Moody's Economist (well known and well regarded Economist) posted in Philly.com.
http://articles.philly.com/2012-09-24/news/34041847_1_stimulus-auto-bailout-reinvestment-act/3
Obama was right on all of them and Zandi goes on to say that we are beter off today than we were four years ago.
I say, let us re-elect Obama for 4 more years.
Well, TeaSucks, if you see Zandi, please thank him for letting me know I'm better off than I was 4 years ago....I wasn't aware of that. I mean, I'd never know it from my stagnant investment accounts that his bungling of the economy has caused.
So did Carter and Mondale....
Why is NBC reporting and giving free advertising to every Obama ad, do they do the same for Romney's ads? No, they criticize them solely.
Talk about biased reporting.
No you haven't. 63% said the remarks made no difference or more likely:
http://www.gallup.com/poll/157544/voters-reaction-romney-comments-tilts-negative.aspx
Wait, haven't liberals been claiming that Obama did not spend all that money, that it was on Bush, to prove Obama hasn't increased spending to historic rates? Hilarious.
Not to mention that the auto bailout saved a lot of jobs and an American industry.
We built that. You, me, Obama, all of us. But not Romney. He said let them go bankrupt.
[I'd never know it from my stagnant investment accounts...]
I mean, really...stock market up near 14,000 from what...around 7,000 after Bush left office? Then you really need to find a new financial manager...unless you're "brave" and doing it on your own. If that's the case, you deserve everything you get...or in this case, you DON'T get.
Sorry to sound so critical but this kind of thinking is narrow and selfish in that it's not just about you or any one individual. It's about the country as a whole. The economy improving doesn't necessarily means everyone will be better off all at once.
What Mr. Zandi was trying to say and which he did say is that had the current Administration not taken the actions they did the country would have been in a significantly worst position.
Mickey, NY is correct. You are really bad with numbers and money. You should look for alternative investments such as hiding money under the pillow or couch.
spider,
So now the President's to blame for your crappy penny-stock picks? The Dow has doubled since President Obama took office, and it's his fault you suck at investing? Wow! Here's a tip. Quit investing in renewable gasoline. It's burning up your $50 portfolio.

Don't any of you guys start taking anything for granted yet. The Republicans can be fairly slick at stealing elections and have a history of playing very dirty pool. Their highly paid demagogues have probably a third or more of the country living in a delusional world where Obama was born in Africa, is a Muslim, and is a communist, and that there were really weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.........just that we couldn't find them. Yes, the polls show that. And they have people like Rove working his dirty tricks wherever and whenever he can. They opened the door to unlimited corporate political donations and have passed voting repression laws in many states. They are ever bit as evil as Hitler was in my opinion. Don't get to feeling smug and complacent about any of this. 'Twould be much better to bear down on it and make sure that everyone gets out and votes democratic across the board. They snuck in the back door on state and local levels because we weren't paying attention, and they have wreaked damage everywhere they got in. They do not want to "build and grow" America, they want to destroy America. A plutarchy with uneducated peasants is what they want, and they have been succeeding in many ways.
"…Boca Raton, Florida was a fitting setting for Romney’s attack on social programs for working and poor people. The town boasts three of the ten most expensive gated communities in the US. The Miami Herald, noting that the city is home to some of the most notorious con artists, quoted a former US Securities and Exchange Commission chairman that Boca Raton was “the only coastal city in Florida where there are more sharks on land than in the water.”…"
Romney’s “47 percent” video and the bipartisan assault on social reform
25 September 2012
by Barry Grey
"…Wealth redistribution was a major component of US domestic policy for much of the 20th century. This was not a matter of the ruling class dispensing blessings to the masses out of the goodness of its heart. Not a single reform was granted without massive struggles by the working class in the face of virulent, often murderous resistance from the capitalists and the government.
The social gains of the 20th century had to be wrenched from the ruling elite, which was itself sharply divided between those who believed certain concessions were needed to avoid social revolution and those who opposed any incursions into the wealth and prerogatives of big business.
One hundred years ago, the Progressive Party issued an election platform that called for the government to rein in the corporations and banks and guarantee to all people the basic requirements of life. It denounced the “invisible government” of the banks and corporations and the “existing concentration of vast wealth under a corporate system.” The party’s presidential candidate was Theodore Roosevelt, the former Republican president…"

Spider,
Perhaps you should seek some investment counseling from a liberal. My 401K is doing really well. In fact, I'm doing better in every way, than I was four years ago. Unfortunately, many people I know who are in Romney's 47%, are not. They need jobs. Just not the kind of low paying 47% jobs that Romney provided at Staples.
Like many people you believe the bank and financial institutional bailout was done by Obama when in reality it was proposed by Bush and passed by congress on Oct. 3rd, 2008. 1 month before Obama was elected. I've seen many on these boards bash Obama for bailing out the banks and never respond when it's pointed out it was Bush. Obama's stimulus was mostly to bail out states near bankrupt with the decline in revenue after the meltdown.
Until 1978, the LDS Church taught that black people were “loathsome, filthy and lazy” (Mormon leaders' words, NOT mine) and that no black could ever hold the priesthood until all white men had received it. But, in 1978, the Church received a “revelation” changing that teaching. However, young Mitt Romney grew up believing this loathsome doctrine about blacks! That belief alone might be cause for concern.
Who promised YOU free money for sitting on your @ss?
Investment carries risk. If you aren't smart enough to know that you shouldn't be investing.
Why don't you get off your butt and work harder if you need more money? You can go get a second job. Quit expecting a handout just because you have a little surplus that you think entitles you to free money.
You must be one of those 47% people....
....Who are dependent upon government, who believe that– that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they’re entitled to
healthcare, to food, to housing, to you name it.guaranteed profit on investment without getting their hands dirty.Oh, heck, was I channeling Mitt?
Latinos, 8% of the world's population, are 18% of the US population, and make up over 90% of illegals arrested in the United States. Since illegals steal resources meant to feed America's poor from the moment they enter the US, it is hard to believe that anyone in government would side with those snakes.
But OBAMA has by creating "deferred action", a political bs term for refusing to arrest criminals that have been stealing resources from the American people.
His act of ignoring their criminal actions has enraged loyal Americans and has put the spotlight on how Latin Americans seem to have been granted a kind of diplomatic immunity for every sin they have committed against loyal Americans.
It will take the demoralized American turning into an avenging soldier to rid the United States of these invading cowards.
There, that just about covers Mr. Obama's and his surrogates Presidential campaign.
For the "deflection and blame" administration and surrogates: How about discussing Mr. Obama's FAILED domestic and International policies ?
Mr. Obama: "Why should I meet with ANY member of the United Nations ? I have more fun visiting my surrogates at the View and talking trash with Mr. Letterman."

Got any facts, ldo, or do you prefer to take the usual GOP approach: make up an accusation out of thin air (or pull it out of your @ss, whichever works for you), throw it against the wall and see if it sticks?
It's getting to the point I almost feel sorry for Mitt Romney. He makes more of a fool out of himself every day. Romney in Ohio this week --- it simply sad to watch. This election is over. Mitt Romney is one of the very worst candidates of all times. But the problem goes deeper than that for the Republican Party. Republicans have managed to chase just about every demographic out of their party except old white men and old white women. They haven't had a new economic idea in over 30 years. If Republicans don’t come up with some new ideas and find an entirely new group of leaders, we just may have another President Clinton in 2017.
Bam!
Xabre-
That reminds me of John Madden.
The ad is kinda like a good, clean, football hit - clearly within the rules, but devastating.
No cheap shot or illegal blow to the head, but they should still check Mitt Romney for a concussion!
Paul Ryan - The Deficit? I Built That!
Just so everyone on here knows....
Obama leads in the polls by 1 or 2
Mitt is probably not the first choice for many or most republicans, and yet he still is in a tight race with Obama. Now if Obama was doing such a good job, I think that he would be way ahead... however he is not.
When you are running against an opponent that is not well liked, and you are neck and neck going down the wire, maybe you ought to think to yourself "why am I not killing in this race?"
sirie,
Since Presidents are not elected by the popular vote here is a better look at where things stand …
RCP (Average of polls) as of 9/24/2012 After Conventions, before 1st Debate
8 Tossup States:Obama leads in 8, Romney leads in Zero.
Delegates: Obama = Solid(142)+Likely(37)+Lean(68) = 247 +Tossup(100) = 347
Delegates: Romney = Solid(76)+Likely(74)+Lean(41) = 191 +Tossup(00) = 191
Total Delegates: [347+191 = 538] Win = 270
Tossup lead by state:
OH=D+4, FL=D+2, VA=D+4, CO=D+2,
IA=D+4, NC=D+1, NH=D+1, NV=D+3
The reason Obama is not killing is there are a number of people that hate him and will vote for ANY candidate that is running against them, regardless of the outcome or future of our country.
Dennis is right, a national poll showing Obama up by a point are meaningless. You have to look at the swing states. Many of those leads however are within the margin of error....
We must get out an vote!
Ray,
All the Tossup states above are in the margin of error.
However outside Tossup states President has 247 Electoral Vote (as of today) thus needing only 23 of the 100 from the Tossup states.
A lot of us would like a change to the popular vote for President. Too many States are "Fly Over" states because they are solid Red or Blue leaving only the swing states to battle over.
In the strictest mathematical terms a President can be elected with just over 25% of the popular vote while gaining the 270 Electoral Votes required.
sirie: "When you are running against an opponent that is not well liked, and you are neck and neck going down the wire, maybe you ought to think to yourself "why am I not killing in this race?"
sirie, I for one am really tired of this argument and would think that by now we'd all have accepted the fact that it goes both ways. If President Obama is such an "epic fail", as you guys like to put it, and is not only disliked but has been actively hated and viciously attacked for the last four years for everything from the economy to his name and place of birth and religion, from his golf game to his wife's figure to his lack of experience, one could also argue that Mitt Romney ought to be thinking to himself "why am I not killing in this race?" I mean, come on - "epic fail", "worst President EVER", Obummer, Odumbo, Obozo, the marxist, socialist, communist, un-American Kenya-born Muslim terrorist sympathizer - this should have been over months ago, right?
Romney has also been campaigning non-stop for pretty much six years now. He's had the time and the freedom of not working for a living and the obscene amounts of money spent by the likes of the Koch Brothers and Sheldon Adelson. And yet somehow none of that has helped him either.
Yes, it's a close race. With the way this country is divided, I'd be astonished if it was anything else. But don't be fooled - the race isn't nearly as tight as the national polls indicate. Like it or not, the election will be decided by a handful of swing states, and the President has been steadily pulling away from Romney in almost all of them. There will be no landslides, and whichever party wins, there won't be any dynasties, either - in fact, by November 7th, we'll already be arguing about who's ahead or behind in the 2016 election. And on it goes.
Instead of wondering why EITHER candidate isn't further ahead at this point, maybe we should be looking a little deeper at those divides and seeing what we could do to try and repair them. Maybe we could be a little more concerned about AMERICA winning instead of our respective parties.
Maybe, to paraphrase Robert Kennedy, we could stop looking at things as they are and asking "Why?" and start seeing things as they haven't been lately and asking "Why not?"

AG made up info? im shocked? LOL
It's really simple sirie. Unfortunately there are a lot of really stupid, racist, gullible adults-in-age-only registered to vote. They are brainwashed by Fox Lies, Hannity, Rush the drug addled dropout, etc. These low I.Q. folks don't care who's running against President Obama or what he has or has not accomplished. They just want to vote out that Black, Muslim, not born here s.o.b. that is in Their White House. That is how these sad sacks view their lives, they will even vote against their best interest to "Ring Pavlov's Bell" in their brainwashed minds.
Gee, eric, I'm truly humbled by your humility, in light of your obviously superior intelligence. And, your eloquent, factual, non-judgemental comment has touched many a conservative heart, I'm sure! Uh, by the way, exactly what is your IQ?
We need this to be a big wave, washing away the old brown teabags. Let's get this country moving forward again. If you want to argue with an empty chair or open your window on your flight, we'll build a support center for that.
JoAnne in PA - You are spot on. But there is no compromise in the hijacked Republican TeaParty. They want it their way only.
I hope those TeaParty fools don't get our debt downgraded so everyone who truly has invested in this country won't have to pay for their bitter hate.
Don't know Spidey but I did graduate high school at 14. I'm not saying there aren't intelligent people voting for Romney, but they are in the minority and are doing so because it is in their interest. I'm speaking about the knuckle dragging majority of Romney voters that believe Fox News really is news and think Rush is a wise man. There's a bunch of them around here, spend the day listening to right wing hate radio and believing every word. And yes, they are all in Romney's despised 47%.
Yeah well many people who are not Americans wondered how America could have elected GWB a second time. They also wondered how Mr. McCain could have selected Sarah Palin as a potential VP.
Dennis, the only way you will ever correct that situation is to join the Popular Amendment Movement at www.faircampaignreform.us and help get the two constitutional amendments passed. I've been trying to get all of you to get involved now for over two years. If you haven't yet, why not? Everyone here complains about our election/campaign finance system, but you all appear to be just keyboard talkers. The ONLY way to bring about change is to get involved. PAM is a totally grassroots movement that depends on each and everyone of you in your own communities to help circulate the petitions, collect them statewide, and turn them into your Secretary of State once you KNOW that you have enough valid signatures (each state may have different requirements for the total number of signatures required to call for a constitutional convention.)
Living in a US territory, I have no say in the election of the president, have NO voice/vote in the Senate, and only voice through my delegate in the House. That is why I helped to draft the two petitions back in the summer of 2010 (based on comments here on Newsvine at the time) and pay for the hosting of the website to promote the amendments. It is my contribution to the cause.
BTW, I left OH 11/13/95 and have been back only once (for my mother's funeral 3/14/11. Don't really miss the Buckeye state at all...not with this nice tropical weather all year long, hehe.

When McCain was asked if what Romney's tax returns revealed was the reason he wasn't selected he said no he just believed Palin was the better candidate. That has to sting.
This “Kingdom of God” is believed by devout Mormons to be a theocratic kingdom run by the Prophet from Salt Lake City. They believe that ultimately they will head up a one-world benevolent dictatorship (or kingdom) run by the LDS Prophet. This will not only be a religious and political kingdom, but it will also be an economic kingdom.
President Obama is 5 electoral votes (Ohio is no longer a tossup) from the 270 he needs. He's leading in every swing state. This election is over. Republicans --- it you don’t come up with some new ideas and find an entirely new group of leaders, we just may have another President Clinton in 2017.
Yes , a good and truthful aid. However, I agree with TNSEVOL that the President could hit harder. After all Romney and Ryan are the worst choices we could have.
Now, it looks like many republicans are now going through buyer’s remorse for picking these foolish men, Willard Romney, and Little Eddie the talking lying buffoons, as the Republican choice for President-VP of the United States.

Unlike Romney's anti-Obama ads, the ad does not take Romney's words out of context, distort the meaning, or claim he said something he didn't say or mean.
Of course the Romney campaign and especially Ann Romney will claim it is a "vicious" attack ad.
Speaking of buyers remorse, how's all that hope and change stuff doing for you?
Well, thanks for asking Cogito! Very well! DOW is up, we're creating jobs instead of losing them in the private sector, and we are moving slowly towards recovery.
Again, thank you for asking!
Obama/Biden 2012
Cogito -
"Hope" was never blind hope, and real "Change" isn't easy and takes time.
It is no easy task to undo the effects of decades of "trickle down" economics that balooned the deficit and destroyed the middle class foundation of our economy.
I am certainly better off than I was four years ago under GW Bush - and so is America.
Paul Ryan - The Deficit? I Built That!
Speaking of buyers remorse, how's all that hope and change stuff doing for you?
It's going pretty darn good. All the money I lost in 2008 when that other guy put us in the hole has come back. Then thanks to Obama Care, I have the best insurance plan I've had in years, I also got a big refund from the insurance company.
4 more for 44!
Cognito - actually things are better than 4 years ago. The stock market is thriving - people are getting jobs and the economy is slowly recovering. Now, if we could just get rid of most of the congressional Republicans - you know, the ones who signed pledges to Grover Norquist - we could get more done, faster!
Obama/Biden 2012
Hi Layton. Good news story with Ryan having buyer’s remorse. Thanks!
seriously, don't you guys know that the stock market runs in cycles. Up now, down tomorrow... or next month, it has little to do with what Obama is doing, more to do with rich people playing games.
If that is all you got with Obama, if you are forgetting that we have 23 MILLION unemployed, many more under-employed, how he is unable to work with congress, how he fails to get a budget through, the list goes on and on.
but keep drinking that koolaid, if and when he gets re-elected he will inherit a MUCH worse mess than he did 4 years ago!
OMG Layton - that is the funniest article. My favorite line:
I'll certainly be passing that one around. I'm still laughing over the tweet I read about saying the Romney campaign is so dead the Mormons baptized it.
Only Buyers regrett going on in this country is from the fools who Voted for Oblamer
Well as much as I dislike Romney and Ryan, can you even imagine candidates like Bachmann, Perry, Palin, Santorum, et al? We may dislike R&R but at least they have a little bit of intelligence.

Good to Madonna out endorsing the president:
Madonna calls Obama a 'Black Muslim'
"So y'all better vote for (expletive) Obama, OK? For better or for worse, all right, we have a black Muslim in the White House, OK?" she said. "
http://entertainment.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/09/25/14098317-madonna-calls-obama-a-black-muslim-at-washington-dc-tour-stop?lite
pjam ... Madonna? Really? Isn't she like so totally botoxed/waxed/lifted that anything that comes out of her mouth is just garbage (and tight garbage at that?)? She so screwed up the Superbowl halftime this year. She isn't anything anymore as she is still seeking Susan and wanting to be something more than she is.
Obama/Biden 2012
Thanks Layton. The Politico article is hysterical! Looks like the Romney campaign has redefined itself once again, this time it's perfect!
Ryan = "Gilligan"
Romney = "The Stench"
The Stench/Gilligan 2012
Sirie: The unemployment number as of last month was 12.5 million, the 23 million includes the under employed which is those republicans only count when a democrats president. It isn't people like Obama who create the under employed it's Romney's specialty. Obama was perfectly willing to work with congress they weren't willing to work with him. Do you really believe the candidate who wants to allow 1,250,000 high tech workers legal entrance and eliminating caps on H1B visa's is worried about unemployed Americans rather than cheap labor? Romney claims there's a shortage of high tech workers yet unemployment in that sector is double what it was before the meltdown. Romney brags about his success in creating, "good jobs" with Staples being his greatest. Starting wage at Staples is $8.15 an hour with few benefits which is similar to McDonalds and Wal Mart. Welcome to Romney's America.
Part of the strategy of the LDS leadership is to invest in very powerful and influential holdings. Unlike most churches, they own TV stations (local network affiliates). They own power companies. Most worrisome of all, they have made a concerted effort to buy up thousands of acres of farmland, orchards, etc. under their many "dummy companies."Thus, he MUST do everything he can to bring about the Kingdom of God on earth and the “establishment of Zion” - which is the political form of the Kingdom. You must also realize that Mormons have been positioning themselves in government for decades. A disproportionate number of FBI agents, CIA agents, State Department people and other government officials are loyal LDS. At one time, three of the Joint Chiefs of Staff were loyal Mormons.
See, that's another Republican lie that just won't go away. The BLS, whose job it is to track these numbers, says 12.5 million.
But you keep on repeating those lies...
sirie ... forget it guys .. i don't think sirie reads anyone posts but his own ... no logic ... just like the candidates hes voting for .... blinders ... DEBATE in 7 days ... Romney better quit debating wtih himself before then .... flip flopper
OBAMA 2012
So .....Prince Mitt wants to be King.
But did the Great Flipper even MENTION the words "worker" or "veteran"
in his Republican convention speech?
This man Romney is SO out of touch ...that it's incredible.
Mitt -buddy- please, tell me this:
are we in the jungle, or are we a community?
What does our country owe its people?
What do our people owe this great country?
And what do we ....we the people....owe to each other?
.....as part of a society that we call America?
Romney and Company has an answer.
And it ain’t pretty.
They smirk, and smile, and smugly say to us:
TO HELL with all those “moochers” and “free-loaders”
receiving Medicare, or Veterans Benefits, or Pell Grants,
or Earned Income & Child Tax Credits, or Head Start, or Social Security,
or Unemployment, or Medicaid, or Food Stamps, or Disability.
Romney says TO HELL with all of us that are struggling to stay afloat,
to those in the Middle-class, and to those hoping to get there.
Romney says TO HELL with his “47% of America” -- the “losers”
that Romney so easily dismisses and disrespects as “dependents”.
Romney says TO HELL with the elderly, the hungry, the homeless, the helpless,
and the hopeless ...and to all the biblical “least of these”.
Does he even know the Christian New Testament?
Love thy neighbor? Come on Mitt, let’s be honest:
YOUR real god is money. YOUR saints are those
who have the most ...and TO HELL with the rest of us.
Romney complains that we’re shamelessly sponging off of him,
and all his poor-poor-poor super-rich friends
.....all those super-rich folks who want to BUY this ELECTION,
.....who want to BUY this COUNTRY.
Trickle-down economics? Hey sure, why not - let them eat cake, they say.
But it’s all the same. Always has been:
It’s crumbs for us, and Cadillacs and 10 houses with car elevators,
and loopholes & lower taxes for them.
That is, IF they, and the bailed-out banks,
and the big corporations pay ANY taxes at all.
Bottom line:
When THEY get a break - hey, they deserve it.
But if YOU get a break, it’s a handout. BULL!
Tell me - who are the REAL “takers”? Who are the REAL “makers”?
Who are the TRUE workers and builders? Who are the REAL “victims” here?
And who’s in the Cayman Islands, trying to avoid taxes, and deducting his dancing horses?
Who gave their LIVES and limbs ...in unpaid and un-needed wars?
Whose sweat, .....on whose brows, has BUILT this great country?
Was it the Romney’s of this world ...or us?
But we still have a voice. And it’s called our VOTE.
Loud and Clear -- we need to just say NO.
NO to Romney & Company.
NO to what they stand for.
‘Cause this is STILL our country. Our children’s country.
And we mean to KEEP it that way. Period.
Romney should “self-deport” himself back to Mexico,
where his grandpa fled to avoid the U.S. marriage monogamy laws.
‘Cause Prince Mitt not only wants to kill the Dream Act,
but the American Dream as well.
We need a President for ALL the people -
NOT a President of the wealthy, by the wealthy, and for the wealthy.
Good ad that sets up President Obama for the debates.
From here, it is very easy for President Obama to use President Reagan's line to criticize Romney, Ryan, and Congressional Republicans.
Keep your powder dry and use Reagan when you want to shock the entire Republican party for their anti-Reagan positions of the last decade.
Did that $867 Billion stimulus filled with Obama's trickle up policies help that %47. No.
• 23 million Americans are out of work, have stopped looking for work, or are underemployed
• $16 trillion national debt (that's $50,000 for every American)
• 43 straight months of 8% or higher unemployment
• 4 straight trillion dollar budget deficits in a row -- more than any other president combined
If Obama were in the private sector, he would be fired with such horrible failure.
It get's even worse. Obama's Wall street top donors are doing very well with his trickle up reeling record profits at our expense and driving the DOW 13000 with profits from China, banking, and Big Oil.
Meanwhile, Cities from San Jose to Providence and 30 States are declaring themselves bankrupt in the face of huge debts and declining revenues. The great Patriot Paul Ryan has tried to work with Democrats and the President and has warned of impending doom.

The great Patriot Paul Ryan has tried to work with Democrats and the President and has warned of impending doom.
Paul Ryan was apart of the problem during the bush years, he votes to
Put the wars on the government credit card
Medicaid part D that added 7 trillion to the deficits
the bush tax cuts 1.2 trillion and every thing else he voted on while staying lock Sept with the Republicans
great Patriot you got to be either crazy or in need of memory pills.
Paul Ryan was apart of the problem and now he want to make it worse by getting everything to get his medicade voucher program in the works.
I CAN'T WAIT TILL BIDEN RIP HIM A NEW ONE FOR ALL THE DEBT HE VOTED ONTO PUT ON THE CREDIT CARD.
Hey, why are you looking back, I tought you guys were looking "forward". LOL.
Pifft, Like Ryan voted that way all by himself.
What about these Democrats?
Again, I know facts hurt, but your precious dems VOTED for those wars:
Over 80 of them
http: //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_Resolution
And here's the quotes from all those democrats, with the same intelligence the republicans had, that believed Sadaam had WMD:
"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998.
"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998.
"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998.
"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998.
"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002.
"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."
Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002.
"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seing and developing weapons of mass destruction."
Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002.
"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force — if necessary — to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002.
"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002
Funny how you lefties seem to forget how the democrats believed Iraq had WMD before the war, too. But it sure is fun trying to rewrite history, huh?
Publis,
Excellent post!!
Publius ...stop confusing these Democrats and liberals with Facts, you take the MSNBC and Liberal blinders off they might actually come to there senses and vote republican
Okay let's just say that Ryan was snookered, lied to by Dick Cheney and lil' Georgie Bush. By the time the truth came out that Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11 it was too late. Remember yellocake, that was a lie too.
Unfortunately people beleived the great lie. ....
Bush / Cheney arguably the worst presidency in American history
It was on their watch that 9/11 took place: it was Bush who failed to kill or
capture bin Laden: it was Bush / Cheney who failed to destroy Al Qaida and the
Taliban after 8 years of war: It was Bush / Cheney who lied to the entire world
about WMD in Iraq: It was Bush / Cheney who turned a record Federal surplus
into a record deficit: It was Bush / Cheney who created the conditions that
have lead to the biggest economic crises in since the great depression: it was
Bush / Cheney who failed to act when New Orleans was hit with a natural
disaster; It was Bush / Cheney who destroyed Americas standing in the world and I could go on.
And where was Dick Head Cheney while all this was going on HIDING IN AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION JUST LIKE the WIMP DID DURING THE ENTIRE VIETNAM WAR
Hey Adler
And lets not forget The wig nut conservatives favorite news outlet FOX
FOX NEWS - RAP SHEET
6 resignations of CEO’s and Commissioners
7 arrests of editors and reporters
2 reporters jailed
Victims
Celebrities, The Royal Family, Sports Figures, Grieving victims of war crime and terrorism. With more to come
And anyone who listens to their propaganda A NEWS OUTLET THAT WOULD MAKE JOSEPH GOEBBELS PROUD!
All based on the resurrection of the Nigerian Yellowcake lie that cost an active intelligence operative her anonymity. Thank you Darth Paranoid (Dick Cheney) who is now free while a disciple (Scooter Libby) fell on his sword for him and still languishes in jail.
When will you acknowledge that EVERYONE was lied to and the statements made were based on LIES. Colin Powell is embarrassed that he was duped and if he had a mulligan would not give the speech he gave supporting Gulf War II. This is now the longest war we've ever been in - all based on a paranoid vision.
The bankrupcies you list are a result of policies and actions that have taken 30+ years to develop. It didn't all happen in the last 3 years. You fool yourself and do a great disservice to everyone when you state a goal (get rid of Obama) and rationalize evidence to get to that goal. Look at the evidence for what it is and what it represents and make a LOGICAL decision - not an emotional one.
Witchking,
Let me remind you...it was during Clinton's watch that the World Trade center was bombed and yet Osama wasn't captured or killed. It was under Clinton's watch that the bombing in Oklahoma happened. It was under Clinton that the USS Cole was attacked. It was also Clinton that pulled his pecker out and had a fun time with an intern (although I don't think she had a very fun time) and then perjured himself...and lest you forget it was also Clinton that also hid in England during the Vietnam war and to quote..."I never inhaled..."
I just want to remind you of the good old times we had under Clinton just like you reminded us of the good old times under Bush...
Jeff-1541632, your post makes no sense at all. You obviously can't write, are you able to speak coherently? My guess is no, which explains your ignorance.
It's a sad thing when the most intelligent man on FOX is Homer Simpson.
Witchking,
And remind me again why Dan Rather isn't on CBS anymore?
It didn't help the 47% nearly as much as Bush's 700 billion bailout of banks and financial institutions with TARP which Bush proposed and congress passed on Oct. 3rd, 2008 helped the banks. Not hard to figure that 867 billion doesn't go as far with 160 million Americans as 700 billion does to a hand full of financial institutions. I think most Americans think the money spent on saving millions from being laid off by the states was better than bailing out banks who are already awarding their CEO's with 100 million dollar pay packages.
I honestly am not crazy about either candidate..4 years of either is going to be pretty hard to get through.
However, Romney's comment about the 47% being victims is exactly what I see in this world. My generation (I'm 29)and younger seem to think that they don't need to work hard or put any effort in their life to be successful, many like to sit back and mooch off the government and/or parents rather than attempt to make a honest living.
Fact of the matter is we are getting more and more government moochers where the other honest, hard working citizens have to support. Further, these moochers live better lives than the average hard working citizen.
We're screwed with either candidate but I'd rather vote for the guy that doesn't feel like the government needs to be a support system for everyone rather than the guy that thinks socialism is the best.
Further, Obama's recent appeasement of minority's and gays in order to achieve extra votes is just flat out crap, he will not be getting my vote. Further he has accomplished nothing in the last 4 years other than more debt and the horrendous system of "obamacare". Thanks but no thanks.
Fine. We get it. Losers like losers. So go vote for Romney/Ryan. But don't you dare let us catch you looking to the federal gov't for ANYTHING! No clean air or water; no FAA or TSA (in fact you and Romney can fly your own damn non-FAA approved plane with roll-up windows at 30K ft); no FEMA support if your trailer gets blown away; no medical care, COBRA or unemployment benefits when your job gets outsourced to China; and, finally, no consumer protections for any financial agreements you enter into. You're on your own Mr. Independent. Yeah, right!
By the way, you do a disservice to many of your generation who are working hard to make their way in the world and are way, way smarter than you. But I suspect like Romney and all his delusional Baggas, you are not bright enough to see it. Hell, you're ahead. You're winning. You're invincible. You're a lummox!
MAD
I would totally take this Bet, Take all the Liberals, Democrats and everybody else that votes that way and put them in 25 adjoining states, then you take the Conservatives, Libatarians and other right minded people and you put them in 25 adjoining states.....and put a big wall between then and in 25 years so who is going to come begging to the other because they are broke and in crisis
Hey Mad Numbskull, get educated instead of brain-washed.
Guess how many jobs Romney out-sourced?
Look at this from Obama own web-site as gleaming example of Romney's out-sourcing!! A TOTAL OF 829 JOBS!
http: //www.barackobama.com/romney-offshore-outsourcing/
No lie! Hilarious! IDIOTS.
Meanwhile, companies are running to China escaping the highest corporate tax rate on the planet, the Roman Legion EPA, Unions, and above all Obamacare.
This has translated to:
2.6 million Commercial foreclosures
Over 3.8 million business have gone out of business
38,000 US products moved offshore for manufacturing
The lowest number of patents in 35 years
And GM?
Bush signed TARP, as well as, the Bail-Out of GM which at the time was only $13 Billion placed in a working escrow. Obama over saw the administration of the funds, as well as, the re-structuring of GM.
With $50 Billion in their pocket in 2009, GM closed 13 plants, including the one in Janesville, laid off 21,000 workers. These plants were not part of Obama's approved re-structuring plan for GM.
Investing in China was. They opened 11 new plants, and hired 35,000 Chinese.
http: //www.financialexpress.com/news/general-motors-opens-new-plant-in-china/399643/
http: //voices.yahoo.com/uaw-furious-over-gm-plant-china-426020.html
http: //careers.gm.com/careers-worldwide/asiamiddle-east/china.html
GM has 11 joint ventures and two wholly owned foreign enterprises as well as more than 35,000 employees in China. GM, along with its joint ventures, offers the broadest lineup of vehicles and brands among automakers in China. Products are sold under the Baojun, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Opel, Wuling and Jiefang nameplates. In 2011, domestic sales of vehicles by GM and its joint ventures jumped 8.3 percent on an annual basis to 2,547,203 units. It has been the sales leader among global automakers in China for seven consecutive years.
Those GM Chinese cars have been imported for a year now.
If we give $50 Billion to a failing car company, is it not reasonable to have them use those funds to keep plants open here and not closed them like the one in Janesville?
General Motors Corp. will shift more production of vehicles bound for the U.S. market to China, Mexico, South Korea and Japan, but will keep total imports at roughly one-third of all sales here.
In a confidential 12-page presentation to members of Congress, obtained by The Detroit News, GM said it will boost U.S. sales of vehicles built in those four countries by 98 percent -- or about 365,000 vehicles -- while shrinking production in Canada, Australia and European countries by about 130,000 vehicles.
GM also has been importing vehicles made in China in 2011, reaching 51,546 vehicles in 2014. Imports from South Korea to the United States will jump from 36,967 vehicles in 2010 to 157,126 in 2014.
GM's plan to import more vehicles from low-wage countries raises questions about whether it should beef up its foreign operations as it is relying on federal money to stay afloat. It also puts the automaker at odds with the United Auto Workers, which is trying to protect U.S. jobs amid a dramatic restructuring of the domestic auto industry.
GM has faced strong protests from the union that its turnaround plan unfairly targets U.S. workers and plants for cuts. GM plans to trim 21,000 hourly workers and close 13 of its 47 U.S. plants by the end of 2010 as part of a tougher recovery plan sought by President Obama's auto task force. It will close three more U.S. plants by 2014.
Who passed laws to reward companies for moving jobs overseas?
Who blocked a bill to stop those same rewards?
Who blocked a bill to reward companies for moving jobs back to the US?
Who is proposing making the rewards for moving jobs overseas even larger?
Republicans. TPRepublicans. TPRepublicans. Mitt Romney.
When you reverse the rewards from leaving to returning, we will all be better off.
And when companies stop holding their profits offshore waiting for a repub to give them tax amnesty and PAY WHAT THEY OWE, we will be better off too. Paying taxes in two places is part of the cost/benefit analysis that was understood before they did it, and now they are extorting us all in the name of even larger business profits.
Hey Publius, your head's lodged so far up Limbaugh's nether orifice that its no surprise your so-called "facts" look, smell and sound like pure s**t! Consider sanitizing your face (and your facts) before blogging or venturing out on the "Vine"!
Deadvirgo123: If the country was divided by ideology you might not fund any social programs, environmental or regulatory programs which would reduce the expense but you'd never fund your war machine without all the rich democrats who actually pay taxes and are forced to fund them. The Gates, Buffetts, Hollywood elite and all the rest of us could find it easier to survive alone than your kind who's underclass would be working without minimum wage, social security, unemployment and all the goodies you despise yet take advantage of when needed. Try swimming in lakes and rivers under your utopia.
Publius: The 35% corporate tax rate is hardly the highest on the planet and few pay that. We have a lot of corporate exemptions and deductions so the average rate is 18% which is much lower than most industrialized countries. Countries Like Bermuda with 70,000 people can afford to impose no corporate tax but in our country and other industrialized countries they have to at least pay for the services they receive and benefits they gain.
Success breeds success. Simple as that. Romney and Bain have very successful in bring hundreds of companies from the bink. They can be seen on very street corner on your city or town and emply millions of Americans. The tax base they provide help keep local, state, and federal governments afloat.
Now, here are just a few Bain Capital successes:
AMC Entertainment
Home Depot
Aspen Education Group
Brookstone
Burger King
Burlington Coat Factory
Clear Channel Communications
Domino's Pizza
DoubleClick
Dunkin' Donuts
D&M Holdings
Guitar Center
Hospital Corporation of America (HCA)
Sealy
The Sports Authority
Staples
Toys "R" Us
Warner Music Group
The Weather Channel
So you are saying the government should be run like a private equity firm? That is the only business experience he has.
Romney has had ONE job in the private sector, financed by his daddy. Ryan has never worked in the private sector.
Between them, they both have .5 jobs in the private sector. That's some damn private sector experience. I say we give them at least 4 more years experience in the private sector.
Obama/Biden 2012 - Romney/Ryan 1040
Publius
Why do the electorates of Massachusetts and Wisconsin, that know Mr. Romney and Mr. Ryan far better than the electorates of 48 other states, favor Mr. Obama by wide margins?
Spare us the puerile ad homimen "numbskull" remarks. Can you provide a real answer?
Interesting list. Most of the people who worked for Bain were in Romney's 47%. Nice way to talk about the workers who made him rich.
Companies surviving in spite of Bain doesn't mean they do so because of it. I can find proof Bain exploited companies feel free to provide any proof any company they acquired did anything to promote better pay or save jobs. From anything I've read I've never seen anything that indicated Bain did anything to preserve jobs the only goal was maximizing profit. On the Burger King article the stabilizing that initially occurred before they began looting was by mass firings.
Bain bought KB toys with 18 million of their money and brought in investors for the rest. They immediately borrowed 65 million on KB's assets and paid a special dividend of the entire 65 million solely to the Bain partners. After waiting the minimum time they could file bankruptcy without having the dividend clawed back by the judge they filed citing excessive debt as the cause. 3700+ employees lost their jobs and owed benefits and the suppliers and other investors lost most of what they were owed. Next Burger King.
What is Bain? Why do they exist? The company takes a risk and buys companies that are on the fence, who without fresh money or the financial know how probably will fail. This happen all the time in our society. Take a yard sale for example, you sell a product for 10 cents and the buyer sells it for a quarter on the other side of town. Profit is the motivator for the risk. The cattle farmer buys 50 risking calfs and nurses them back to health, but loses 5 of the calfs because they where to weak to survive. Not all investments turn out for good. Bain wasn't 100% successful on all business endeavors but was very succcessful overall. This country is on the fence a risky proposition, it could go into a double dip recession or worst. Who do you want, eye candy or a compassionate giver who has the experience to pull this country back from the brink? If you think Romney is some kind of terrible non-feeling monster, you had better wake up before you are singing Kum-Ba-Ya with a community organizer.
We have formed the debate here a week in advance to the actual words exchanged between the two men. Do we continue to plunge this Nation deeper into national socialism-nationalization of industries i.e. banking, automotive, energy, healthcare, etc. or do we return to the Common Sense of Thomas Paine and our Founders? Can a nation of dependents, back-grabbers, and victims restore America's place in the world? Can we stand another four years of apologizing for being America? This is the most pivotal election of our lifetimes and perhaps as great as the election of 1860!
Are we a failed experiment in governance or just at a very low point in our history as a people? Will we allow the cancerous growth of Federal government to kill the body politic and the American Spirit? Will the Land of Opportunity be no longer because we no longer have the will to be self-determinate?
Stop. THink. Vote R&R this Nov. for your Country.
hot daddy - when you stop posting the GOP lies let us know. Until then, your post is totally worthless.

Amazing, this loon sees facts as a rant.
Amazing to see the extent of the liberal brain-washing.
Joseph Goebbles would be proud.

You haven't a clue. National Socialism? Do you really know the meaning of the phrase? It is government and industry working together to exploit the people. And telling them lies and persecuting semitic people. (The arabs are semites, by the way)
There has been NO nationalization of industries. LOANS to allow them to get back on their feet. LOANS that are being paid back!
Have you ever read Thomas Paine? Where is the relevance to anything you've said.
The "nation of backgrabbers...." is in your imagination and that of Romney. It doesn't exist!
Vote for people, not for corporations. Vote for contributors like the working poor, not those who avoid income taxes. Those who produce something, not those who just trade in money.
For you Christians, didn't Jesus run the money changers out of town, or try to? Use those values again and run this money changer out of town as well.
Maybe we could get Ann out here to tell us the truth? (If ya don't believe me, you can ask my mom!)
"We use Ann sparingly right now so that people don't get tired of her." –Mitt Romney
Ok, hold on. Looks like she is not available.
Sorry Hot Daddy but far more Americans felt the need to apologize when Bush was president than Obama. Sorry you feel freedoms are impinged by putting controls on banks but democrats have to do this to prevent republicans from giving them 700 billion every time they get in trouble. Though it impinges on their freedoms so does picking our pockets so they can continue to pay their CEO's their 50 million dollar pay packages. If republicans weren't so free with our money maybe we wouldn't need to enact those laws.
Kiss it good-bye hot daddy, no way in hell R&R wins.

More Facts ...these liberals heads are going to explode ....they get all the truths they need from Al sharpton ....I mean he was so honest about Tawana Brawley
Dead Virgo.
Do you know the Tawana Brawley story? The only dishonesty was with her, not those who were duped into helping her. She lied, they believed her. It was a mistake on Sharpton's part, not something dishonest. Not like Romney saying that Obama wants to make the work requirements in welfare go away. That was a lie, that was dishonest.
You do realise of course that the country was operating on Bush's budget through October in 2009 don't you? And that the unemployment rate hit it's peak while we were under Bush's budget. And the 400 billion added to 2009 for the tax cut and the 300 billion drug plan was added to Obama's record but he had nothing to do with either.
I wonder if the Romney folks will put out an ad about how the prez is hitting a "bump in the road" that is our ambassadors dead body?
Ohhhhh MY GAWD. Hilarious!
They need to, but somehow, I don't think the Romney campaign will sink that low so as to capitalize on the tragedy.
Something that Obama has done over and over again with no remorse.
OK Tammy....when?
And Romney did do exactly that. remember he said that Obama sympathized with the killers. That was disgusting. Nobody with a conciense (sp?) or brains would say that in seriouslness.
Obama never said the deaths were "bump on the road" ..... he said the situation in the middle east was a bump on the road .... and always has been for every government .... BUT if u look at all the post in every string ... you will notice it's only the republicans who refer to the deaths as a dump on the road .... just read through a few ...... truth ....
OBAMA 2012 .....
Obama vs the Dog Catcher I would have to go with the Dog Catcher.
My first choice wouldn’t be Romney but anybody is better then Obama
So who was your first choice? Bachmann? Perry? Palin? Anybody with a functioning brain?
60 gives a good intelligent argument, leave him alone!
Mitt Romney comes from humble beginnings per the article: but it appears that Mitt Romney is out of touch with the American people as well as his own family history/beginnings. Is this what mass wealth does to people? Obama and Biden 2012
Obama isn't wealthy? What planet are you living on? At least Romney knows how to share his money with those who need it. Something Obama claims he is for but doesn't do himself.
He sure is.
Cash: $660,000
Mutual funds/ETFs: $625,000
Pension: $90,000
Treasuries: $3.4 million
Real estate: $900,000
TOTAL: $5.7 million
Where is he hiding his money???
lol romney had his schooling and first house paid for...hardly the same as most of us out there.
Ps love the Messiah quotes...we dont think Obama is one, just better than your BS candidates that cant seem to stay on the same side of any issue, and lie to peoples faces about Medicaid.
Romney shares the wealth on the one tax return he showed donating 30%. But as his average according to his summary shows only 11% over 10 years which means he donated next to nothing over his mandated 10% to his cult. Anyone claiming giving to the Mormon church is a true charity is deluded. Most of their money goes to investments. They own the largest cattle ranch at 330,000 acres, a 200,000+ spread, shopping malls, TV and radio stations and about 500 other businesses. They use their tax exempt status to enrich themselves.
I love it. I wish at the end Obama would say "I'm Barack Obama, and I've got nothing to say about myself, and nothing better to mock Romney for."
You itemize his assets and then ask where he's hiding it? From your post you know where every penny is. I'll bet you can't do that with Romney's assets.

Is this some kind of cruel eye test?
Its a detailed glimpse inside the mind of a liberal.
Romney's for good jobs for all Americans, like his household staff.
Dear Friends:
With all the people in the United States of America and around the world that are citizens, why would the people want to vote for someone in the White House who does not speak the truth, running on Mormonism as his platform, disrespects the others religions, shows no respect, has a wife that is among those that are sick and to such a degree, has a wife that does not speak well in public and is biased and agry toward the other people, that is so paranoid that she thinks the public are biased to them. Yes we do not want to be Mormons, do not want it violating our religion. Why would we want that for the children of the USA? Why would we want someone who does not speak the truth?
Vote Democratic! There is something wrong with the Republican Party and they are not united with this nation with the support of Romney.
God knows what he has given in word and teachings to his people. We are at war!
Protect the men and woman that are out there protecting our borders and this nation and government. That is for you and me. Amen.
I don't think we are gonna see an ad talking about Obummers stellar record. Let's just bash Romney, it's just easier.
And yet not one post here from the right makes any mention of any plan Romney has or why it's a good one they all bash Obama. Are you people so blind you can't see you're the pot calling the kettle black?
I'll grant you that, it is much easier to bash Romney.

... DEMOCRATS don't need to bash ROMNEY .... romney is doing a great job of that all on his own ... with a little help from the other repubs that are distancing themselves from the flip flopper - gingrich said romney was incompetent -
"The Romney campaign has yet to find a thematic way of explaining itself and laying out in a clear, crisp way the difference between Romney and Obama. And I think that frankly is a problem," Gingrich said on CNN's "The Situation Room"
OBAMA 2012
We need to hold the almighty Liar Romney accountable, he wants you to practice what he preaches, didn't you know that he is hollier than thou??? He wants all of us to support his high standard of living, while we all struggle week to week. As far as I'm concerned he needs to come forth with his tax returns, so we can put him in jail where he belongs. He acts guilty, so we should all treat him that way. I feel that he has either scammed the IRS, or else his mormon church, which he is suspose to pay 10% of his ill gottten gain. I couldn't trust his sorry A$$ no matter what.

onermailliw: Romney has no plan. I think we need to ask Mitt Romney if he is better off now then was when bush left office??? I'd say yes, and so would everyone that has a brain. Romney and all his investments have done very well under President Obama, the stock market is up 5000 points since President Obama took over. So if you want to feel sorry for that sorry A$$ you've come to the wrong place. You need to go down the street to Fox Lies. They will tell you how bad Liar Romney is doing financially and how the economy is doing just horrible and how President Obama is a black muslim. Cause here, we will tell you the truth. We like President Obama, we don't tell you that Liar Romney is a white muslim, but who knows he just may be one???? Maybe we should start calling Liar Romney a white muslim, I bet you repugs and teabags won't like that will you??? To me you repugs and teabags are racist and bigots, I think I'am right on, by saying that. So now you can all go tell Fox lies what I said, that way they can come back at me about something, I know at least I will put them in their place and tell them and you that you can all kiss my A$$.

Wow. Typical libby name calling because things like facts make you angry. Get some help.
You need to actually put out a fact first onermalliw. I've seen none what so ever from you so far.
Libs are starting to focus on Romney for now next year or election will be Bush again.

Yep its all Bush's fault **rolls eyes*
Romney has to change things. He's paying 14% in taxes while his 4 cleaning ladies making $5,000 a year pay nothing. If he gets elected that will change. Since almost all his income is investment income if his plan to lower the top rate 10% and eliminate capital gains he'll only pay as much as his cleaners. Then life will be fair.
More lies from the democrats. Romney wasn't attack the working poor or the elderly. He was attacking the huge percentage of the country that expects the government to do everything for them.
You mean like the mom with three kids collecting food stamps who lost her job when Bush was president?
I am a single mother of 4, who used government help while I educated myself. I graduated with a BA in summer of 1998. I got a low paying job at first and then was able to build a great career from there.
I can tell you from my experience too many able people stayed on the system and didn't do anything to better themselves. I was told by a case worker in all her years I was the first person who she'd heard of that presented a job offer contract which made me ineligible to continue receiving government help. She nearly cried.
It's those people who don't use the system to better themselves and abuse the system and make it a way of life that will never vote for Romney.
David nelson - "You mean like the mom with three kids collecting food stamps who lost her job when Bush was president?"
You're saying that for 4 years under obama, with all the "stimulus" and "jobs bills" he could not even help the economy enough for a single mom who wants to work to get a job?
P.S.
What about all the single moms who lost their jobs under Obama, do they not count?
Apparently you aren't good at math. If you add all Americans receiving any form of assistance, welfare, food stamps, unemployment etc. the total is 18%. To get 47% you have to include the military, seniors on social security and the working poor even though they receive nothing from the government. He said the 47% that expect the government to provide everything. Had he said the 18% there wouldn't have been an issue.
Liar, the 47% includes working families making less than $30,000, retired people and people on Social Security that they contributed to all their lives. But he really did not mean what he said. Whah,Whah, Boo, Hoo.
Several of my republican friends have told me that they will probably hold their nose and vote for Romney. Most agree that he is one of the weaker candidates that the party has put forward and believe that if the unemployment was below 8 %, Romney would not have a chance and would be blown out of the water. I think that the republicans that do vote for him are not happy with their choice and are going to vote for him NOT because he is the better man, they just don't like Obama.
It isn't that we don't like Obama, we don't like Obama's policies and how he is virtually stealing from out future.
Then I take it you agreed with Bush when he bailed out the banks?
David: as a Republican I tell you I did not agree with Bush when he bailed out the banks. I also don't agree with Obama picking and choosing which companies he bails out. I don't agree with spending.
And so, my only hope is to select a mediocre candidate who at least says he's going to reel in the spending over a complete failure.
All obama has to do is play the ad. Obama is pretty much a s smoothe failure. romney, well he just wants the 47 percent to work in his company town. You know, people laid off from work, retires, students, ....all living off the government and not putting more money into his staples business.
Good to Madonna out endorsing the president:
Madonna calls Obama a 'Black Muslim'
"So y'all better vote for (expletive) Obama, OK? For better or for worse, all right, we have a black Muslim in the White House, OK?" she said. "

Kinda like Alice Cooper, and Hank jr. also, Pjam, no one ever accused any one of them as being the brightest bulbs in the box.
You're not the least bit suspicious when the man who promises to reel in spending also promises to cut taxes 5 trillion, raise defense spending 260 billion a year and dedicate hundreds of billion a year to fund a new space program? The better Bush once called that voodoo economics.
It is not looking good for Romney. A recent poll shows that a majority of NASCAR fans are supporting Obama. They are used to watching people go round and round and going nowhere.
Makes sense why they'd support Obama.
well, even nascar fans don't like to be called trailer trash because they don't always pay federal income taxes.
Well according to progressives if you keep TURNING LEFT things will eventually get better !
Russian president Putin also endorses Obama.... Oh and so does Madonna.

When Romney calls Russia our true enemy he's unlikely to be their first choice. Of course a wise man wouldn't make such a declaration which would insure future hostility if elected but then no one accuses Romney of being wise.
What a shocker, 3 union jobs are pictured in the adds, the same jobs that cause higher taxes to pay for those who have retired.
Another blatant distortion form the liberal party though, i guess talking campaign strategy is too much for obama, seeing that he got elected on 'not being bush' and being black, he's hoping being black is enough the second time around.
Trudat: Unlike the honest ad from Romney which shows him surrounded by coal miners but fails to mention the mines owners made the miners attend but refused to pay them. Many complained on a local talk show about this forced attendance.
Strange that the ad never denies that 47% pay little or no Fed Income Tax. It only states that these people pay sales tax, social security taxes, gas taxes, property taxes. Guess what, Romney paid all of those taxes too AND an effective rate of 14% Fed Income Tax.
LooLoo,
Bain has a tax status of a partnership, none of his money was previously taxed.
Romney only had an effective tax rate of 14.1% CAPITAL GAINS TAX. He didn't pay Federal Income tax EBO. Also he didn't take all the deductions he could have on his 2011 taxes and if his accountants didn't fudge them to get the 14.1% his effective tax rate would have only been 10.3%!! He can still file an amended tax return after the election and get that rate too!
Now I REALLY want to see the rest of those returns!!
Few of those 47% ever accused Romney of paying no taxes or claimed someone was dependant on the government for food and housing simply because someone paid no income tax. The 47% didn't insult him but he insulted the 47%. Now he has to live with it.
And apparently the 10.3% Romney was actually required to pay last year was too much that's why he wants to cut the top rate 10% and eliminate capital gains. What would his tax rate be with no tax on investment income be? Zero. At least if he's elected the right wingers will finally be happy that Romney pays no more taxes than his 4 cleaning ladies making $5,000 a year. Finally a fair tax code.
As Eddie Kendricks (former Temptations lead singer that went solo) once said the Obama campaign needs to: KEEP ON TRUCKING BABY GOTTA KEEP ON TRUCKIN" meaning keep the pressure on this guy so that first debate will be great theater.
