But there is a lesson to be learned here. Yes, electrical fires can start with no warning, but there is always a reason. Most likely due to poor maintenance. Maintenance that was likely delayed due to being deemed, "not cost effective". This is what happens when profits must always come first. Most likely due to a $2.00 plastic bushing designed to prevent chafing and shorting out of a wire. The fact that it would have taken a well paid, experienced technician to find and replace that bushing, or make sure that wiring harness was properly secured was the reason it was deemed "not cost effective".

The profits first, everything else second, greed based mentality is one of the main things wrong today. Take your time, do it right the first time, and cost be damned.

When you have the brakes on your car serviced, do you do it right, regardless of cost, or as cheap as possible? Think about that.

According to the Wikipedia article () on this plane (which is made in Canada by Bombardier Aerospace, of which Canadair is a division) the US has only military operators (USAF and USCG), no civilian companies are listed. Why, then, wouldn't the RMoney campaign use US planes and charter companies, if the talk is about creating jobs in the US? Perhaps a discount is involved? No idea.
