If Mr. Obama cannot change Washington from the inside (as he stated in the Univision interview), why should he be granted four more years there?

No I’m not OK with the fact that money and outsiders

We need a Constitutional Amendment to eliminate how money
rules our political process and in general our government.

What do you think you did in 2008?

In President Obama's first two years in office he bailed out Detroit, kept the economy from tanking, kept teachers, cops and firefighters on the job and withdrew trrops from Iraq - and then 2010 brought a wave of Republicans into office who were supposed to help create jobs - and did the exact opposite. Two years of gridlock - that's why people "outside" Washngton are choosing new Representatives to work with President Obama, for a change.

Romney wishes he would have "lost" this week someone along some lonely highway, but alas, it's all his to own. Embrace your mistakes Mittens. Make sure you give Ann a big ol' hug for spouting off on the Republican party as well. That was super special!

What a beautiful lovely week it was for Team Obama and all of that lovely 47% fodder!

I can't figure out where all this support for Romney is coming from. He could not get over 25% of the vote in the primaries with that group of clowns. That alone should have embarrassed him out of the race.

    #1.16 - Fri Sep 21, 2012 5:16 PM EDT

    sirie,

We cannot end up like Greece because we are a sovereign nation they are not. Japan is a sovereign nation and their debt is at 200% of their GDP. Twice what ours is and no one is saying they will go bankrupt. Why is no one saying we are like Japan?

      Washington Post

      By Sandhya Somashekhar

On Sept. 11, 1857, a wagon train from this part of Arkansas met with a gruesome fate in Utah, where most of the travelers were slaughtered by a Mormon militia in an episode known as the Mountain Meadows Massacre. Hundreds of the victims’ descendants still populate these hills and commemorate the killings, which they have come to call “the first 9/11. Many of the locals grew up hearing denunciations of Mormonism from the pulpit on Sundays, and tales of the massacre from older relatives who considered Mormons “evil.”

“There have been Fancher family reunions for 150 years, and the massacre comes up at every one of them,” said Scott Fancher, 58, who traces his lineage back to 26 members of the wagon train, which was known as the Fancher-Baker party. “The more whiskey we drunk, the more resentful we got.”

There aren’t many places in America more likely to be suspicious of Mormonism — and potentially more
problematic for Mitt Romney, who is seeking to become the country’s first Mormon president. Not only do many here retain a personal antipathy toward the religion and its followers, but they also tend to be Christian evangelicals, many of whom view Mormonism as a cult.

TMZ has learned Mitt Romney's son Tagg -- who had twins this year through a surrogate -- signed an agreement that gave the surrogate, as well as Tagg and his wife, the right to abort the fetuses in non-life threatening situations ... and Mitt Romney covered some of the expenses connected with the arrangement ... and it may boil down to an incredibly stupid mistake.

The twin boys -- David Mitt and William Ryder -- were born on May 4, 2012. We've learned Tagg and his wife Jen, along with the surrogate and her husband, signed a Gestational Carrier Agreement dated July 28, 2011. Paragraph 13 of the agreement reads as follows:

"If in the opinion of the treating physician or her independent obstetrician there is potential physical harm to the surrogate, the decision to abort or not abort is to be made by the surrogate."

Translation: Tagg and Jen gave the surrogate the right to abort the fetuses even if her life wasn't in danger. All the surrogate has to show is "potential physical harm," which could be something like preeclampsia -- a type of high blood pressure that could damage the mother's liver, kidney or brain, but is not necessarily life-threatening.

      Paragraph 13 goes on:

"In the event the child is determined to be physiologically, genetically or chromosomally abnormal, the decision to abort or not to abort is to be made by the intended parents. In such a case the surrogate agrees to abort, or not to abort, in accordance with the intended parents' decision."

And there's another relevant provision in Paragraph 13:

"Any decision to abort because of potential harm to the child, or to reduce the number of fetuses, is to be made by the intended parents."

Translation: Tagg and his wife, Jen, had the right to abort the fetuses if they felt they would not be healthy.

Sources connected with Mitt Romney tell TMZ, Mitt was involved in the surrogate arrangement because he paid some of the expenses connected with the agreement. We do not know if Mitt Romney read the contract or knew the terms.

      The Republican's Job's Bill.

The United States House of Representatives passed a bill —
House Resolution 3012 — which favors highly skilled workers by removing
country-specific caps on immigrant engineers, computer scientists and other
      professionals.

House representatives voted 389 to 15 in favor of HR 3012 or
the "Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act." The bill is also
expected to pass in the Senate.

By eliminating the cap from each country on high-skilled working
visa, talented immigrants from India, Philippines, China and other emerging
economies can work in the US, the report said.

        #1.22 - Fri Sep 21, 2012 6:11 PM EDT

Why? nice to know that at least Romney's son is smart enough to realize that there can be unforeseeable complications in a pregnancy which may require an abortion.

Gotta wonder who leaked this agreement, contrary to health care privacy laws.

The news is bad for Romney's campaign: Boehner is critical of Mitt's incompetence, SuperPacs are diverting funds to congressional elections, Romney doesn't lead in a single poll, and prominent Republicans are abandoning Willard. Still, the right wing lunatic fringe choose to blame President Obama and the media for Willard's failed run at the presidency. Who will they blame the morning after President Obama is reelected? I'll say this, the greatest act of real class by any politician was when some woman was calling then Sen. Obama was not an American and John McCain stopped her and told her that was just not true, told her he would not accept someone saying that and walked away, not allowing the woman to continue.

I doubt very much you will find any of that this year.

God's signature does not appear anywhere on those laws ensuring our rights, the signatures of former Presidents of the United States do.

God isn't a puppeteer. He doesn't control every aspect of everything that goes on. Humans were endowed with the ability to reason and to know right from wrong. We were given dominion over the Earth and all upon it. So, resting on the 7th day why should the Great Spirit, Providence (as the founding fathers called it) lift a finger? He did his part it is our turn to take the reigns. If we drive the horse off the cliff it is our own fault as it is our doing if we win the race. The founders realized the inalianable rights we were given during creation whereas other world leaders, past and present, haven't figured that out yet.

              Romney lost nothing.

So....seeing him drop in most polls (specifically in swing states), watching talking heads (including David Brooks and Peggy Noonan, and others) writing his obit er I mean editorials, he's STILL not able to articulate a simple, direct, logical message outside of his base, and his inability to effectively raise donations......that's not LOSING?

I'm not going to argue that there may be a media bias going on. Deal with it. But seriously, I don't see how you can include Faux Snooze and conservative congressmen and infighting within his own campaign in your 'media bias' whining.

I sure in heck don't support everything Obama has done. But I'm sure in hell not going backward now, voting Republican. If Mitt ever says anything with substance and some type of outline or detail....great. I'll consider him. But so far, he hasn't said anything other than 'Obama is bad'. The ignorant blame game, doesn't work for the majority of people. He needs to say something....at some point.....hopefully before the elections, if he want to be President.

Charlie Sheen has a new show. So i suppose he is still winning.

              Obama is bad.

The state of our nation reflects it.

Obama still blames Bush. Or the weather. Or kiosks. Everyone and everything except himself. Would you consider that an "ignorant blame game"?

Romney has put forward a plan. Simply because you and the left leaning media don't want to acknowledge it doesn't mean he hasn't.

I'm not sure what you're seeing when you look at the polls. I'm seeing trouble for an incumbent president who is running a campaign based on lying, denial, and demonising because he knows he's a failure.

But it seems like the Obamanoids live in Denialville and lack critical thinking skills.

Okay CR....whine more and blame everyone else. Go ahead, that is what got republicans where they're at today....and has stalled our recession recovery for the past three years.

By the way, even Faux Snooze says that Romney's been vague and lacking in details. Not showing his taxes is yet another example of that...he's afraid to put anything out there. He doesn't have ideas/plans. Perhap he's used to being a CEO and telling someone else to 'take care of it'.

As I've said before, if Flipper-boy and Lyin'-Ryan ever come out with details....I'll be listening. But so far, no ones home, there. Which is a big reason that not only is the right dis-ing him, but also the conservative editorials, as more politicians are distancing themselves from him and his comments.

and has stalled our recession recovery for the past three years.

Another lie fed to the feeble minded and lapped up like a cat to cream. Harry Reid (do you know who that is?) has not allowed a GOP House passed bill designed to create economic stimulation (over 100 of them) to be debated on the floor of the senate. Obama has killed tens of thousands of jobs thru regulation at such agencies as the EPA. Just last week one coal mining company announced the lay offs of 1200 workers citing EPA regulations as the major factor. That's just one company. The CBO recently released a report stating that the cost of regulations released under the Obama administration will cost companies 1.8 trillion dollars. What do you think is going to happen? My guess is you're not sharp enough to connect the dots in one of those puzzle books, much less this scenario where you're not actually looking at a picture.

I'm not sure who Faux Snooze is but if you bothered to take the time to go to mittromney.com you can actually read his proposals.

It always amuses me when Obama or one of his brain dead minions accuses anyone of lying. Obama, the pathological liar. Obama actually lied while accusing Romney of lying.

                http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/obama-lies-while-accusing-romney-campaign-lying_651431.html

His administration just spent 9 days blowing smoke up you fools' butts and you respond by saying, "deeper master".

Do you mean distancing like this?

                http://dailycaller.com/2012/06/18/w-va-democrats-distance-themselves-from-obama-by-skipping-national-convention/

BTW. All campaigns have a degree of disagreement. Even your Messiah's.

                Anyone who makes this statement

So....seeing him drop in most polls (specifically in swing states),

                followed by this

I'm not going to argue that there may be a media bias going on.

demonstrates that they're not the brightest crayon in the box. What's 2+2 in your world? A govt check?

Romney released his tax returns and there was nothing that even the most lukewarm intellect didn't already know.

How is MSDNC trying to spin this as a lost week?

How is that Middle East Foreign policy working out?

How is that Stimulus bill helping the unemployment rate?

What about that Fast and Furious scandal there Barry?

I guess if you're in the tank for the Obama administration and ignore the real issues like the economy and Unemployment then you might classify it as a lost week for Romney being distracted by the call for him to release his returns and not being able to point out what an abysmal failure the Obama Administration truly is.
