MILFORD, OH – Citing Mitt Romney's appearance on NBC's Meet the Press earlier in the day, Vice President Joe Biden took aim Sunday at Romney's failure to name specific tax loopholes he would close to lower taxes and balance the budget.
"He said that he's gonna pay for all these tax cuts by closing the loopholes, but when asked by Mr. Gregory what loopholes he'd close, he couldn't name one," Biden told a crowd of 700 supporters at a western Ohio high school.
"All this has a giant price tag and it's not going to come from closing loopholes for millionaires," he added.
On NBC, host David Gregory asked Romney to specify how he would eliminate tax deductions and exceptions in order to compensate for the enormous financial consequences of his deep tax cut proposals.
Romney responded only by noting that "people at the high end" would have fewer opportunities for tax exemptions, but he declined to pinpoint any specific numbers or policies.
“High income taxpayers are going to have fewer deductions and exemptions... Those numbers are going to come down. Otherwise, they'd get a tax break. And I want to make sure people understand, despite what the Democrats said at their convention. I am not reducing taxes on high income taxpayers. I'm bringing down the rate of taxation, but also bringing down deductions and exemptions at the high end so the revenues stay the same, the taxes people pay stay the same. Middle income people are going to get a break. But at the high end, the tax coming in stays the same. But we encourage small business, because small business is able to keep more of what it makes and therefore hire more people, which is my priority.”
The stop in Clermont County, a heavily-Republican area that supported John McCain by a 2-1 margin in 2008, was Biden's final campaign event of a two-day swing through Ohio. He will return to the Buckeye State next Wednesday to campaign in Dayton.

We already had $46 billion for transportation projects, including $27 billion for highway and bridge construction and repair and $11.5 billion for mass transit and rail projects.
Where did that money go? The construction contracts went to the lowest bidder who employ illegal Mexican labor. That is why they can bid so low.

With $50 Billion in their pocket in 2009, GM closed 13 plants, including the one in Janesville, laid off 21,000 workers. These plants were not of Obama's approved re-structuring plan for GM.
Investing in China was. They opened 11 new plants, and hired 35,000 Chinese.
Those GM Chinese cars have been imported for a year now.
If we give $50 Billion to a failing car company, is it not reasonable to have them use those funds to keep plants open here and not closed them like the one in Janesville?

Romney can't be specific because he has no plan ~ just the overwhelming desire for the office. He had no plan at all until he picked up Ryan ~ and it is the Ryan economic proposal that will prevail in a Romney administration. Romney believes very strongly that his good looks, pile of money, past business success, and connections are enough to win the White House. He is and shall remain Mr. Clean while Ryan is the nuts-and-bolts mechanic for budget and policy. Romney just wants to be president while Ryan has larger dreams ~ he wants to be king of the Sanhedrin and Romney will grant him that power.
Obama's plans for the last four years have worked wonders, so his plans (the ones we haven't heard any specifics on yet, yeah, those) for the future MUST be good, right?
1). Repeal Obama's $500 Billion tax on the middle class and business otherwise know as Obamacare.
2). Cut the highest corporate tax on the planet from the current %38.9 to %28.
3). Cut the cap gains tax on dividends from %28 to %18.
4). Repeal the %30 tax on small business owners in the $200K to $1 Million THI range.
5). Restructure and manage the Roman Legion EPA to be a part of business plans.
That is fairly specific

Each one of the companies paid zero taxes in 2010 Romney was the highest at 13.9% so #2 is done. Moving to #3 cutting the capital gain would do nothing for the middle class or the poor. The capital gains are for rich people. It would also lower Mittwitt capital gains to 0.85%, so # 3 is done. Moving to # 4 Small business taxes have been cut three times already. So # 4 is done. Moving to # 5 eliminating the EPA will let your corporate master poison the water of the poor and elderly. So that takes care of all 5 of your stupid policies that Mittwitt Robbme NEVER adopted. You need to take some economics, and some history. Both Clinton and Reagan cut the cap gains tax and created over 40 Million jobs between them.
Clinton also cut government spending. These two policies of cutting the cap gains and cut spending are trickle down policies. Clinton lied to us all again the other night.

Tricke down are policies championed by JFK. And have pulled us out every down-turn. Bush added over $5 Trillion to the GDP, and ended up with a million net jobs gain even after the losses in 2008. Reagan doubled the GDP and added 21 Million jobs. Both did itwith out a DOT COM boom like Clinton did.
Innovation and jobs are driven by private investors who are willing to risk their money. No rich person just sits on their money, they invest it.
