Republican presidential candidate greets supporters Friday during a campaign rally in Orange City, Iowa.
ORANGE CITY, Iowa -- In his first rally since President Barack Obama accepted the Democratic nomination for president, Mitt Romney on Friday called Obama's speech in Charlotte, N.C., "extraordinarily disappointing" and castigated Obama for not proposing how to solve joblessness.
"I read that this morning, you perhaps got the chance to do that," Romney said of the speech, suggesting he didn't watch the event live on television Thursday night.
"But if you did, perhaps like me you found it extraordinary disappointing -- surprisingly disappointing," Romney continued, adding later, "I was surprised by his address because I expected him to confront the major challenges of the last four years, which is an economy which has not produced the jobs that the American people need."
Romney made the remarks to several thousand people inside a basketball gym at Northwestern College, a small Christian liberal arts school here in conservative northwest Iowa.
Campaign officials said 2,600 people were inside the gym, and another 800 to 1000 people were inside an overflow room, which Romney visited briefly afterward.
The event came on the same day the Labor Department released a sour jobs report showing employers added 96,000 jobs in August and that more than 350,000 people had stopped looking for work.
"It’s just simply unimaginable," Romney said of the numbers. "The president said that by this time we’d be at 5.4 percent unemployment. 5.4 percent. Instead, we’re at about 8 percent."
Romney said the difference accounts for 9 million people who could be working.
Earlier Friday, Romney called the report a "hangover" after the Democrats' "party" in Charlotte.
"This is a tough time for the middle class of America," Romney told reporters on a tarmac in Sioux City. "There's almost nothing the president has done in the past three and a half, four years that gives the American people confidence that he knows what he's doing when it comes to jobs and the economy."
Before Romney took the stage here in Orange City, campaign aides tossed to the crowd blue foam gloves designed to look like baseball mitts.
A scoreboard inside the gym had been programmed to list one team as "Mitt" and the other "Romney." Scores were listed as 11 and 6, a reference to the Nov. 6 general election.
Romney was introduced by two Iowa Republicans, Gov. Terry Branstad and Rep. Steve King, who represents the 5th district here and is running for re-election.
Making an apparent pitch for Romney's conservative credentials, King told the crowd that Obama "undermines" the values of northwest Iowa "day after day after day."
"Don't doubt this man's faith. Don't doubt his conviction," King said of Romney. "Do not doubt his patriotism or his faith, and his love for Jesus Christ, our savior."
Romney later urged the crowd inside the overflow room to re-elect King.
"I wanna make sure he's in Washington when I get there so we can do the things we're promising doing," Romney said.

If you call an improvement (in unemployment rate) from 8.3% to 8.1% as 'extremely disappointing,' the only reason would be that his Bain might only have outsourced small numbers of American jobs overseas thus making less profit for this vulture - thus disappointing

I must have missed reading his solution to unemployment in this article. Maybe he'll tell us his grand scheme on MTP, though David Gregory's wife works for Romney so I can't imagine the forum would be any better than that on Faux News.
The American people should be royally p.o'd. If the Elected Officials in Washington had put their constituents ahead of themselves and their Corporate Donors, We the People would not be struggling to keep our heads above water. Until people WAKE UP and begin voting these Career politicians out of office, we will drown. They only care when it's time for voting.

Well, I don't anticipate anything earth shaking coming out on Meet the Press. Gregory has been a worthless host since he got the show. "Stretch", GW's nickname for him, was in the tank for Bush and is personally pretty conservative leaning and almost always gives his Republican guests a free ride to spread their spin. Gregory gets answers that are open doors for great follow-up questions, but quickly slams them shut by moving on to one of his lame prepared questions. He seems in awe of most of his top Republican guests, but treats the folks from the left with disdain. Can't wait to see him slobbering all over himself with Mittens there.
I still watch MTP every Sunday because it tends to wake me up. Doesn't take but about 5 minutes of Gregory and I find myself yelling at the TV trying to conduct the follow-up questions that Gregory avoids. However, even in the friendly environment of a Gregory interview, I still expect Romney to say something stupid and harmful to him, because he has a tendency to not know when to shut up. Keep letting him talk and you're almost guaranteed he'll say something stupid. Gregory will be very welcoming to him but hopefully it won't be a staged interview.
Time for NBC to move Chuck Todd into MTP. He's a very smart guy and doesn't get all slobbery just because he's talking to someone important. I think he would make a far more appropriate host than Gregory because he will properly probe his guests.
Or even though he is young and just learning, I think getting Luke Russert to take over his father's legacy could be a very powerful thing for NBC and for Luke, who has the makings of a great reporter. I believe he would do his father proud in that role and would grow enormously to be the next trustworthy newsman. That's a hole that exists today all across the mainstream media.
The great reporters of yesterday have left us with a void and it's about time we had some young up and coming players filled their shoes. MTP is the perfect platform for the next future great to emerge from. David Gregory isn't it, because I really don't see him as being that skilled anyway. He can stick to his script and look nice, but when he gets away from his prepared questions, he looks incompetent. He likes to hear himself talk and often doesn't even seem to be listening to his guests. I don't think he's got an agenda like the FOX News crowd, I just think he is highly overrated for the limited skill he displays.

Hello folks, I would like to preface my comment by saying I'm a political atheist. I don't care what political religion one wants to attach themselves to. In my estimation we have a one headed two party system serving their masters, Wall Street and the Federal Reserve/banksters.
I see, hear and read people blaming one political party or the other and if they are honest about the problem and want to see who allows this political reality show to perpetuate, all they have to do is look into the mirror. The elite have us exactly where they want us, at each others throats while they rob us blind. Rob us of our civil rights, wealth and our planetary resources.
Do you ever stop for a moment, contemplate and review what is actually causing our stress and problems as a society? Only if we come together as "We the People" do we have a chance to change the direction of our country and planet, but first we need to know what we are up against.
We allow a foreign entity (Federal Reserve, neither federal nor a reserve, a group of mostly European banksters) to control our currency! This system is why you, I, economies and nations are debt slaves! The Fed and their subsidiaries can print money, but how can they create wealth by letting bankers use it for speculation (derivatives market), greater consolidation, and big bonuses.
We let Wall Street run our government! Wall Street is Washington and Washington is Wall Street! We have a two headed one party system serving their masters Wall Street and the Federal Reserve!
Our presidential politicians in both parties are going to spend approximately 1 billion dollars each on their campaigns this year, yet we are laying off fire fighters, teachers and policemen. Two billion dollars on presidential campaigns, is that insane or what? Then, we allow the Super Pac’s with little regulation and full anonymity to influence our American elections through the sheer volume of money that will most likely be used for negative advertising to elect a corporate candidate or pass a corporate sponsored bill!
Our congress is bought and paid for by lobbyists and are involved with insider trading, doing the bidding for those who put the most money in their pockets! They get rich while we the “freeloaders” get cuts to Medicare and Social Security all the while they receive a tax payer salary and health benefits for life for themselves and their family compliments of the “freeloaders”.
We've legalized Corporations (Citizen's United) as people! They can now buy any election they want to, from sheriff to president! They don't even have to be American corporations! Corporations have severed their moral contract with America. It used to be you worked hard and helped them gain success and you shared in their success through better wages and benefits, all you get now is a pink slip.
The corporate use of offshore tax havens have kept trillions of dollars out of the American economic system which further decimates the American economy.
The BP Corporation will likely not be charged with any criminal malfeasance in the largest natural disaster in history. The oil leak continues to flow and there are reports Corexit is still being used without any oversight by the U.S.. Many scientists claim the gulf loop current has been broken as a result of the leak. If you want evidence of the leak just talk to the residents and oil spill workers living along the gulf from Texas to Florida.
The oil company lobbyists who have paid off our congressional leader to allow "Fracking" this method of injecting poison into our underground drinking water aquifer is an obvious serious health hazard to all Americans.
We invade a different country every year! Killing and displacing millions of people and spending trillions of dollars to enrich the Oil, Banking, and Corporate cartels!
The Census Department of the American Federal Government recently reported that “50% of the nation’s population were living below the poverty line”.

Our media (presstitutes) are bought and paid for by corporations and treat us like mushrooms! Reuters and the Associated Press try to tell us what to believe and think, such as unemployment is at 8.3% and falling, freedom is slavery, Ignorance is strength, war is peace, they hate us for our freedom, the terrorists are out to get you, the economy is great, borrow and spend! etc…

This Executive Order allows the government to take pretty much whatever it wants including crops, farm equipment, vehicles, boats, aircraft and fuel to “prepare” for the national defense. This includes making people work for free. You think I’m kidding about the free labor? Here’s a line straight from the EO that says, “. . . to employ persons of outstanding experience and ability without compensation. . .” This is authorized even in peace time!

The Military Industrial Complex is King, our defense budget is larger than the rest of the world’s combined! We are the enforcement arm of all the world’s cartels! The policeman of the world! In our countries short history we have bombed over 60 different countries! The outsourcing of our security to private military companies like XE (formerly Blackwater) is increasing dramatically!
The phony war on drugs! While our military protect the poppy fields in Afghanistan, the Opium supply produced in Afghanistan went from a modest 185 tons at the start of American intervention in 2001, to a robust 8,200 tons of opium, a remarkable 53 percent of the country’s GDP and 93 percent of global heroin supply; Wells Fargo has been caught laundering money for the Mexican drug cartel in the United States (look it up); The use of drugs in the health care industry is over a 100 billion dollar a year scam. There's no profit in the cure only in the treatment. You are not allowed to buy the same manufactured prescription drugs from other countries at a cheaper price because the drug lobby has had congress pass laws against it to protect their profits.
We let the elite divide us so that they can keep us in fear, distracted, and divided to the theft going on right in front of our eyes each and every second of the day! The theft of our civil liberties, money and property!
What is wrong with this picture and what does it say about us that we allow this to take place? We have lost our moral compass and our priorities as a country and need to get them back! It is time we concentrate on fixing America for awhile!

My wife and I watch Meet The Press because it is the most blatantly liberal national morning show around - next to PBS. As I tell my wife; if you want to know what your enemies are up to you have to watch Meet The Press (MTP) and you can here it for yourself.
MTP usually has a panel of one or two conservatives and three or four libs; the libs play pin the tale on the conservative and the conservative tries to get in a few shots before Gregory shuts them down.
Trouble is that the libs have been so bad for this nation over the last six years that it is near impossible for the talking heads to make being a Godless Whore sound better than it has proven itself to be.

Stemburgh put his severance and saving into Staples and His partner, Khan, put in $500,000.
Romney convinced Bain to invest $1,000,000 or 25% of the investment. (appears to be the largest investor. Romney form eyewitness brought Bain people to help for 2 weeks to get the first store started. Romney also sat on and participated on the board for 15 years.
There were 3 other venture capital companies put in the remaining un listed amount.

BTW: Staples may hire barely above minimum wage for the floor help, but as most other businesses the generate a number of better paying positions such as Store Management, computer Technicians, maintenance, Truck drivers, Warehouse help, and home office staff.
Staples is like McDonalds. It's a great place to learn how to be a good employee to prepare you for a better job in the future.

A lot of what you said is true although some is a bit overblown. You sound a lot like an Occupy type person and I don't have any issue with that, you guys point out a lot of failings within our system. That's a good thing.
However, the one thing I take issue with is that you call yourself a political party atheist. The reality is that although both parties engage in partisan politics. when we all look at the issues important to us and the issue positions of the two parties, it is hard to not see that we all tend to favor one over the other. I understand the idealistic concept of rejecting both parties, but doing that is really pretty stupid. It fixes nothing.
Like it or not, we are in a system that is fundamentally a two party system. That is pretty much the "rules of the game". In reality it is the most logical way to do it. There are proponents of a third party, and although it has some merit in primary campaigns, it is counter productive in general elections. All it does is hand the advantage to the party farthest from your ideals.
Now I'm not saying that everybody needs to have an affiliation with one of the two parties, but we should at least know enough about each, so as to be capable of selecting the lesser of the evils. The fact is, like it or not, the only way we are going to make change is within the confines of the rules.
A movement like Occupy can not on it's own create the change they seek. Yes , you can talk about a "peoples revolution" and if large enough, it could initiate change. But for one it needs to be huge and for another it almost assures that you need to give up everything in the current system. If you are going to start from scratch, you need to be willing to destroy everything first. When that realization hits home, a huge movement quickly shrinks, because most people are not willing to give up everything in the hopes of creating something better.
The only way movements like Occupy really have a lasting effect and create real change is to find the way to work within the system. That means they must at some point, decide which of the two parties fits them better and which one they can influence to shift policies and work toward the desired changes. This is going to mean making compromises and either giving up or backing down from some of the litany of issues.
The Occupy movement has a lot of potential, but it needs to get mainstream if it is to see any changes it desires. There are a lot of young, inspired potential future leaders, but they will go nowhere without some backing within the existing core system. So the decision movements like this need to make is to decide which party they choose to join with the goal of eventually reshaping it. When they do so, they can have a big impact. Look at the Tea Party and how it has reshaped the Republican party. Now personally, I believe that was a bad thing for the Republican party and what they are trying to achieve are minority held positions. In many cases small minority held positions. Ultimately, this will over time end the Republican party as we know it. When extremism becomes the mainstream party platform, eventually the party shrinks to a point where it no longer has any power.
Frankly, Occupy is in a great position today. Overall, they are much closer to Democrats than to Republicans. The Republicans are weak. That means that if Occupy aligned itself with Democrats, they could easily and quickly gain the level of power necessary to create change. But to make this move, they must be willing to compromise. The resistance to compromising or backing off from some principles is what causes many such good intentioned movements to die prematurely.
You simply can't make big changes from outside the system, you have to become a part of it and redesign it from the inside. Radical change will not last. Lasting change comes through evolution. It is slow, but quicker than radical mutations that quickly become extinct.
If the list of things you don't like numbers in the hundreds and you aren't willing to prioritize and compromise, you will get nothing. It's that simple. It has taken us well over two hundred years to build what we have and many of the things, although maybe not such good things, still have deep foundations. Knocking them down and rebuilding them doesn't come without a lot of resistance and as they say, Rome wasn't built in a day. You and movements like Occupy need to identify the top ten and then further refine that to about three or four key issues that support the top ten. Look at your top 10 and see which party most closely matches your priorities and then get on board.
Rejecting the system entirely amounts to just whining about stuff without the hope of ever changing anything. People forget that this country was built only because those who founded it were willing to make significant compromise in the name of progress. Many of the issues we still debate today are just evolved modern versions of the very same issues the founders compromised on many years ago. Had they not done so, we would still be British subjects and in reality the countries, but Britan and America would be far different places than they are today. The compromises brought about changes to both of the countries.
The bottom line is that if you just want to bitch, get used to having things to bitch about. But if you don't like the way things are and you want to help change things, you need to be willing to learn the game, understand the rules and then join the team that is closest to your ideals. Otherwise, you are just a dreamer.

I can't tell you how many interviews I have gone on where the employer hired someone younger, less qualified, and then has to replace the person with someone else younger and less qualified.
The companies in the Cleveland area I consult with can't keep me busy because the businesses can't get through the mounds of regulations passed by the democrats, are worried that they cannot afford the ACA so they continue to hold on to their funds, or can't get a loan because Frank-Dodd now determines who gets a loan and who doesn't.
I could be busy 60 - 70 hours a week here in Akron, but the businesses are struggling worse than ever on making payroll PLUS the same problems in the Cleveland area.

As for obvious successes. All one needs to do is look at the 2000 Olympics. By all accounts the Olympics were heading to be an unmitigated disaster. Romney left Bain Capital in 1999 to take over as head of the US Olympic Committee and turned the Olympics around to make it a huge success. And, he did that without compensation!
Now look at what Obama has accomplished: He's raised the federal deficit from under $10 trillion to over $16 trillion in less than 4 years. I must admit, that is an accomplishment! When he took over the WH unemployment was at 7.6 percent. It hasn't been below 8% sense. Even the numbers being reported are fraudulently low. Why? Because the economy is so bad that people have stopped looking for work. Even according to the Dept. of Labor, there have been no new jobs created. We all know that the number of people who are without jobs has increased dramatically under Obama. If the statistics were to use just the same number of people in the workforce now as when Obama took office then unemployment (U3) would be around 11.5%. The U6 figure is around 20%. In other words, in 4 years Obama has done absolutely nothing to help the economy. Not one lib can list anything that he's done that would improve the economy. Heck, you'd think that the Dem Convention would have been about how great a job Obama has done. Yet, no one listed anything. Obama, given a chance to lay out his plan for the next 4 years, was silent. The only selling point that he has is "we've done all the right things and although you haven't seen the results yet, just give us 4 more years and then you'll see." My guess is that you are realtively young and it is great to have ideals, however, as you get older you realize that sometimes you need to be practical. You may not like the rules of the game, but at least at present, you are stuck with them. So you learn to make lasting change by playing by the rules and changing them over time from within.
I applaud your idealistic thinking, however, I ask you to step back just a bit and see the forest for trees. You and those like you could be a powerful movement for change if you joined up with the organized party that for the most part represents 99% of your beliefs. Otherwise, you are just making noise and will be disappointed when it does nothing. Do you really want to turn the country upside down and start from scratch? I doubt it, if you have at least the vaguest idea of what that would mean. Do you even remotely think you would achieve your goals in that environment?
Embrace those who are closest to you, they really vary by very little. Join up and change can happen. Reject everybody and you're just making noise.
Aligning yourself with a party does not mean you blindly accept everything in their platform. You can be aligned with a party without being in lockstep with them. Like it or not, we were designed as and continue to be a two party system. You really can't be truly neutral or independent. You fall on one side of the line or the other. Now in some ways, you may be very close to that line and if you realize that the line is actually a region between the two sides you can hold some beliefs of both sides, but no matter how you look at it, you have to lean one way more than the other.
Your quote tells me that for the most part you are very clearly on one side of the line idealistically and reality you probably have very few beliefs that fall within thay gray region along the line. You call yourself a political atheist but I believe that comes from misguided belief that you must blindly accept everything to associate with a party. You can have beliefs in a God or some higher power while rejcting the concept of religion. But at some point you need to understand that your beliefs are closer aligned with one religion over another. That doesn't make you a Catholic, a Baptist, a Muslim or whatever, it just says that particular group is closer to you in their beliefs. But politics isn't quite like religion. Politics doesn't demand your blind faith, all it asks for is an alliance and you are free to reject specific policies if you so choose. Now maybe the Republican party may be a bit more closely linked to the principles of religious blind faith, but that isn't the case with Democrats. With the Democrats there is room for dissent and you won't get excommunicated because of it. That is a key difference. Recognize that and find a way to work with them to create the change you seek.

I would be very concerned that both seem to adjust their positions to cater to specific voters. I never said I was going to vote in 3 states, I simply noted that in two states where I previously lived, I'm still on their voting list, and that I could vote if I chose. I also noted that's one reason the states are trying to clean up their lists, and make sure only people legally registered to vote there are the ones voting.
Regarding Illinois and Louisiana and the voting of the dead, if you do a bit of research you'll learn it happened all too often.

How does any president, as head of the federal government "solve joblessness"? Is it possible? I suppose the federal government could agree to hire a large number of unemployed Americans directly, maybe to work on critical infrastructure projects. Or perhaps the federal government could provide grants to states and cities, allowing them to hire more teachers, policemen, and firefighters, or to work on local infrastructure projects. But that would mean spending . No, can't have that. It would be much better to just pretend that we can solve our economic problems by just banning abortion and preventing gay Americans from marrying the people they love or serving in the military or adopting children.
Nathan - the Republicans long time mantra has been to eliminate government involvement in the private sector and it will take care of itself. In years past, that may have been true. But as the global economy grows, these corporate robber barons have no allegience to the country, just the profit margin. A job can come from anywhere and if it costs next to nothing to hire that person, the better. This is why the government needs to be fully involved to mandate that these people hire here. I mean, they have no problem peddling their cheap crap here, but cringe at the thought of having to pay someone a livable wage to make it here.
See, the profit margin thing is what I don't get. If you want an economic system that maximizes employment with lots of "good paying jobs", isn't an exclusive focus on profitability just about the worst way to go about that? I mean, just speaking from common sense, if two companies have a billion dollars in revenue, but one has a 20% profit margin while the other has a 5% profit margin, isn't the company with the thinner margin doing more to create jobs by reinvesting an additional hundred and fifty million dollars back into the economy?
Wouldn't it be better for employment if profit margins were thinner so that owners and investors knew the only way to increase profitability was to grow the business, rather than padding the margins by cutting benefits or outsourcing workers? Isn't the point of free market capitalism that competition is supposed to suppress profit margins and keep the cost of acquisition of goods and services down close to the cost of production of said goods and services?
And then there's the regulation/deregulation thing. Mitt Romney assures us that if we just cut back on regulations and reduce the cost burden of compliance, that it will lead to more jobs. But, what exactly are companies spending money on to comply with regulations? Do they just order compliance by the ton from Amazon for delivery? No, I think the vast majority of the cost of regulatory compliance is in jobs. Jobs for auditors, trainers, quality engineers, inspectors, testers... If those jobs are no longer created, why are companies going to spend even more on other jobs? Or are they going to pocket at least some of those savings to enhance their profit margins, thus by necessity spending less on jobs?
You've boiled it all down, Nathan. W. proved that there is no more meat on the tax cut bone. So, absent public works, what can the President do? And we know Romney won't propose public works. So, what can Romney really offer? A pep talk. To me, that is so obvious. But, America is desperate for a quick fix. So, we may make the wrong choice again. Although, Romney is such an inauthentic character, I think he will lose because nobody really respects or believes him. Many people still respect Obama.

Bain doesn't build anything. It's really just a big investment house that uses its liquidity to rig the game. There are no real ideas at Bain about how to start a business. They raise large sums of capital and force takeovers of good companies or companies that have nice assets that can be drained before pushing the carcass off a cliff. Think of Bain people as the same type of people who want to buy this election with million dollar contributions - to get an unfair advantage in how their businesses are regulated. Jobs are really irrelevant to the Bain mentality. If the Bain investors' money goes into a new business that is growing, there will be some job growth. But they would just as soon take over an old company, close plants, sell off equipment, and outsource to China, Vietnam, etc. It's not an immoral company. It's an amoral company. And obviously, Romney's profits were invested offshore to a great extent. Most people would be ashamed to brag about making money the Bain way. It's really a game of getting leverage on smaller companies by greater access to big money. The opponents are then rolled over. It's just one big power play after another. The industry involved, the workers, the underlying products; these things mean nothing to the Bain Boys. Get a bunch of financiers together and breaks some balls. (Note: Jimmy Stewart would be cast to oppose them in any movie version.)
I'm astounded! Mr. "No Real Plans For Anything Put Forward" has the gall to complain that Obama, who actually has been proactive in this sector, has no real jobs plans! Romney won't tell anyone what he wants to do because: a. he has no clue what he wants to do; b. he's afraid that if anyone finds out, they won't like his plan which will probably to help make the rich richer in hopes they'll take pity on the middle class and poor and allow some of their riches to "trickle down", something that hasn't worked out too well for most of us.
It is sort of like the feudal times when the lord of the manor would ride out among the peons and toss coins in their direction laughing as they scramble for a farthing or a ducat. Romney would be that lord on the high horse merrily tossing the coins. I often think that there is virtually no difference between the 2 major parties and often too feel there's no point to voting. I followed the 2 conventions this year and came away convinced that my usual viewpoint is wrong, the differences are stark, the Democrats have it all over the GOP, the Democrats are better on . . . the environment, health issues, women's issues, equal rights, and on down the line. In addition, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are scary, one of the worst 1-2 punches offered in memory: and they seem a product of some weird time warp. They come across as sour and bitter - and hellbent on taking from average people as much as they can and redistributing to the well to do. This is serious business. I decided to vote this year after listening to Cecile Richards, Charlie Crist, and Bill Clinton among others at the Democratic convention. What's at stake is too important - and the differences too real - for me to let my usual cynicism rule.

In full context, he said, "When you give a speech, you don't go thru a laundry list; you talk about things you think are important. And I described in my speech a commitment to a strong military, unlike the President's decision to cut our military, and I didn't use the word troops, I used the word military, and I think (giggling) they refer to the same thing."

Seniors will be fighting all wars started while he is president. This is brilliant. Republicans hate Medicare and Social Security. Every senior who gets killed on the battlefield will reduce Medicare expenses and eliminate on Social Security check. And it will be fun. The government will buy thousands of those Hoveround chairs and fit them with a machine gun on each side and a rocket launcher on the back. It’s really sad when a young person loses their life in a needless war. But when a senior gets killed, people will think that the old fart probably would have croaked anyway in a couple of years.
I might be mistaken to think we should go with the guy that is currently DOING the job versus the guy on the sidelines that says he can do better. Like the other night, the Giants got beat by the Cowboys. If I had been coach of the Giants, we'd have won, 84-0. I don't have any coaching experience, but the Giants need a change. It is just not good enough. We can't take four more years of games like that. Let's try a businessman in there. Has anybody considered a hostile takeover of the opposing team and laying them all off? I would. That's what the Giants need. Fresh ideas and a new approach, and when they do that, they will score more than the opposing team, and God willing, win the game as a result!"
