COLORADO SPRINGS, CO –- Paul Ryan wasted no time on Thursday in attacking President Barack Obama and the Democrats on the final day of the Democratic National Convention.
“The president is going to be in Charlotte tonight with the Democratic convention. Their convention actually began with a tribute to big government. They actually said government is the only thing we all belong to,” Ryan told the crowd. “Then, they cut references to God out of their platform. They reversed course on that one yesterday – it wasn’t really a popular reversal if you watched it on TV.”
In a new TV ad criticizing President Obama, Mitt Romney's campaign appears to be targeting single women voters who may like the president a great deal but are skeptical if he can deliver the type of change that he was talking about. NBC's David Gregory reports.

Speaking in the Centennial State – where four years ago, Obama officially accepted the Democratic Party's presidential nomination – the Republican vice presidential candidate said the president hasn’t lived up to his promises and has made the economy worse.
“You know, right here in Colorado, four years ago with the Styrofoam Greek columns, the big stadium, the president gave this long speech with lots of big promises,” Ryan said speaking inside WestPac Restorations. “And he said, let me quote ‘if you don’t have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from.’ You know what, that is what he said four years ago and that is exactly what he is doing today. He has no record to run on.”

The attacks are coming from both sides.

Wednesday night, former President Bill Clinton spoke at the convention in Charlotte, NC and did not hold back on attacking the Romney-Ryan ticket.
“When Congressman Ryan looked into that TV camera and attacked President Obama's Medicare savings 'the biggest, coldest power play,' I didn't know whether to laugh or cry,” Clinton said. “Because that $716 billion is exactly to the dollar the same amount of Medicare savings that he had in his own budget! You got to admit one thing, it takes some brass to attack a guy for doing what you did.”
Congressman Ryan, who in Iowa on Wednesday morning praised Clinton for working with Republicans while in office, made no reference to the remarks made at the convention last night by the 42nd president.

The House Budget Committee Chairman, however, did acknowledge he may have finally found one thing to agree on with current Vice President Joe Biden.
“You know it was just reported that in the middle of President Obama’s debt ceiling negotiations last summer Vice President Biden said quote, ‘You know if I were doing this I’d do it totally different,’” Ryan told the nearly 3,000 people here in Colorado about the upcoming Bob Woodward book, "The Price of Politics."
"Sounds like Joe and I finally agree on something," the congressman deadpanned.

I'm old enough to remember when most products in America were made in America and you stayed clear of those inferior Chinese made products. I was totally shocked a few years ago when there was a lead paint scare with Fisher Price toys. I was shocked because I did not know that this long time American company had shipped it's manufacturing to China thanks to Bush 2's tax incentives for companies to manufacture their products overseas. You remember Mattel? Mattel also manufactures their products in China and because China doesn't have the same codes we have, they thought it was okay to use lead paint for childrens toys. I had a Black & Decker iron. Black & Decker is an American company now located in China. When this happen? Under Bush 2's reign of course. Now America is flooded with inferior once-superior products no longer made in America. If you want a job, go to China or India. Romney will send your company to one of those countries.
When did Lehman Brothers go out of business? What about those gazillion banks and businesses? As I recall, they went out of business before 2009.

And when did deregulation start? During the Reagan Adminstration. Know what deregulation (Romney would like it to continue) is akin to? It's akin to thieves being allowed in the counting room (where the cash is counted) of a casino and having the security cameras turned off and the supervisor go on an extended vacation. Thanks to deregulation, financial institutions are allowed to financially rape the country through predatory lending and why don't the Republicans want this to end? Because investors in this type of fraudulent activities profit from foreclosures. Romney himself said let the foreclosures run their course. Does he benefit from the foreclosures? Sounds like it.

I must say this: the Republican Party is a political party, not a religious organization so please never put the two on the same level.

Its amazing that Bill Clinton -the ONLY sitting president on record that stood before a live Television audience and stated "I never had sex with that woman" is revered by the liberals as a stand up guy. The Democrats removed God and Jerusalem from their plank, and when this was discovered by the Republicans the Democrats got into a super-tizzy to put it back before more damage was done. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, the emcee, became completely flummoxed as he had to call for a vote three times - and got a loud "no" from the delegates each time. However, he pretended to have gotten 2/3 of the votes (a requirement for passing) whereas he only got maybe 1/3. He had been told to put God and Jerusalem back into the plank by the Democratic "authorities". I am sure God was just thrilled abut being kicked around like a football amongst these arrogant Democrats. Of course, no major network, apart from Fox News, reported on this debacle. Go figure!
I bet God is glad to know he wears magic underpants.

How can Romney/Ryan keep up the lies? 30 straight months of jobs improvement, down to 8.1% unemployment, under this administration. Do we really want to take a reverse & hateful direction, at this point?
Will we all, conform, to what's going to happen no matter who is on top? In my opinion, We as a people, are going to be Victorious no matter who gets voted in to be president. Because we are Citizens fighting to resolve issues by bringing those questions and demands to Who's in charge and to the future president.
