The bulk of that money was contributed by my employers over the years, as part of my collective bargaining agreement, cash money paid by the month into my account not a matching 401K, not a deal were you work for 35 years for a monthly pension, that the company steals, or simply dissolves their obligation before you get a chance to collect it, or you do collect it for a few months and then die and it is over. Republicans are against the very kind of collective bargaining agreements I worked under and helped to negotiate for years. I have the security of a retirement fund, and health-care benefits, so I am exactly the guy who will not be owned by the company, or will depend on "socialist government programs" in my old age. You are actually talking about the wise republicans in places like Texas who vote republican, and for the right to work for less, and less, and less, who now have themselves a $11.20 an hour median income. If they work 50 weeks a year they don't even make enough to owe any federal taxes, and are much more likely to need medicaid and food-stamps to get by than a guy like me. That $22,400 they gross each year will not leave them much if anything to put away for retirement, so their employers are not worried about matching those few pennies now are they, and those are exactly the people that will be the most dependent on SS and medicare when they retire. You better rethink who will be relegated to the "Animal Farm", who has hope for their future, and who will be in chains. Because I assure you, it will not be guys like me, it is far more likely to be the people who are already on the "animal farm" picking at crumbs with the chickens as afforded to them by the republican agenda and policies they foolishly support to their own personal detriment.

Ask any Fin. adviser if 4 more years of Obama is going to make your current retirement or future retirement plan more money. 99% of them will say no.
