Saturday morning I turned on NBC to watch Lester Holt, whom I like very much, but, unfortunately, NBC choose to pair him with Mark Halprin, the Republican-boot-licking political "journalist," whose sole reason for living is to disseminate Republican talking points. I got so angry listening to Halprin, I got up and turned the TV OFF. Took ten minutes to calm down.
Why is it that if you don't have cable, you have to watch news with a right-wing slant? I don't expect political journalists to lean left, I just want them to be objective and informative, but, apparently, even that's too much to ask. I don't know what to do, except turn off the TV and get my news from NPR. I guess that's not a bad decision.
PS. If it weren't for First Read, and the quality reporting here, I'd wash my hands of NBC, that's a fact.

I just learned that Peggy Noonan was on MTP this past Sunday. Now I know NBC is trying to kill me.
Halperins' lips are as tight a Willards'!....
Willard's on a role on TV. He got started lying and he can't stop. The more lies he tells the more excited he gets. He loves the applause his lies get.
While stupid not surprising comments coming from a Tea Partyer. In case you are not aware, they have declared war on women.
Why we still want to see the tax returns.
Bishop Romney was on the Audit Committee of Marriott when they engaged in tax fraud and got busted by the IRS. Audit committee members have a duty to the public greater than their duty to the employer.
He did or should have had knowledge of the fraud.
We know he tolerates tax fraud on his watch. Question is did it leak into his personal returns?
Here is an interesting story from Veterans Today:
