It is designed to serve a three-state area: Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.”
The new Swiftboat? “A group of former special operations and intelligence members is sounding off against President Barack Obama in a documentary released Wednesday that accuses him of taking credit for the death of Osama bin Laden,” the New York Daily News writes. “The group, calling itself the Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund, is also upset about alleged security leaks under the Obama administration — saying the lapses are putting overseas military members at risk. ‘Mr. President, you did not kill Osama bin Laden, America did,’ Ben Smith, identified as a Navy SEAL, says in the online documentary, ‘Dishonorable Disclosures.’ ‘The work that the American military has done killed Osama bin Laden. You did not.’”

President Obama released his short form birth certificate before being elected – a requirement in some States to get on the ballot.
The short form is what most Americans possess. However he later released the long form birth certificate which is often difficult to obtain from most States.
Imagine the deal making atmosphere when Obama is re-elected and the unhonorable republican stains keep the house and gain the senate. Truly the real prize is congress. This new so called republican party will not be making deals regardless of what happens. Thats obvious. As I have thouroghly enjoyed shoving health care down thier unhonorable and unethical throats, will continue to thouroghly enjoy shoving ANYTHING else down their throats. Deserve it as far as i'm concerned. They've earned it in my book.
When it was Obama vs Clinton, Obama went after her to show her tax returns, she gave in.
When it was Obama vs McCain he gave two years and not a peep out of Obama's campaign.
Yesterday the press was beating up on Carney about Biden's remarks. Carney reply -
"Obviously been a desire to change the subject," Carney said, in response to a barrage of questions about President Obama making a dog joke and Vice President Biden saying that Republicans wanted to put Americans back in "chains."
There is often a point at which one side tries to distract from the issues, Carney said. "That is invariably because that side is losing the policy debate," he said.
On Biden's remark, Carney said that Republicans were capitalizing on the "chains" quip because they don't want to argue the substance of keeping Wall Street reform in place.
"They don't want to talk about that because they know that most Americans answer that question absolutely, definitely yes," Carney said.
I wake up this morning and they are reporting an offer from Obama's campaign for Romney to show 5 years of his tax returns.

It's kinda like it took President Obama 2 yrs to find and kill Bin Laden, and it took Bush almost 8 to...not do the same.

I guess you and I have a different opinion of little or no taxes. In 2010 and 2011, Gov Romney paid $6.24 MILLION in Federal Taxes, $2 MILLION in State and Local Taxes, and $.5 MILLION in Real Estate Taxes. Over $8.5 MILLION in various taxes is quite a bit to me. On top of that, he donated over $7 MILLION to charities. Hardly sounds like someone who steals from the poor, but rather gives his own money to the poor. Unlike VP Biden, who only give away other people's money, contributed only 1.4% of his income to charities, Romney donated 16.5%. President Obama contributed the same percentage.
bill, please where did you come up with above allocations of money, romney has not released his '11 returns yet, also, 7 (?) to charity, and all of it to the mormon church, he certainly didn't donate any $ to the local homeless shelter or food banks. Please federal return, not interested in what state he claims residency, or what homes he maintains there. Just federal returns, even 2011's would be nice.
Also, Bill, he grossed over 70 million in those years... so that's ridiculous low overall taxes... like 12% (before his deductions and "Charity"). Remember, he is a devout Mormon, which requires tithing (10% of all members income, non-taxable), which while some goes to humanitarian, the majority of it goes to commercial enterprises. The Mormon church is the largest rancher in the world, and also owns the most shopping malls of any organization on the planet.

You do realize, of course, that the key source of information which is leading the Democratic pundits (and Harry Reid) to charge that Mitt hasn't filed taxes and is hiding assets in Swiss and Cayman Island accounts is the disclosure in his 2010 tax return of those very accounts he is supposedly hiding??? IF Mitt were a tax cheat, would he have ever passed exploratory vetting (which includes IRS)??

No kidding. And Gerorge W. Bush didn't create Hurricane Katrina, but his administration failed to grasp the severity of the devastation or provide effective leadership in rebuilding New Orleans. The Office of the President looks at the big picture and provides direction to those on the ground. Everybody has a role to play in making this a strong America, and President Obama plays his role, very well, every day.

Never mind 8+% unemployment, a $16 trillion dollar debt and a stalled economy. We need to see tax returns. That's going to fix everything.
If Obama could just take a look at those returns, then he could get back to work and fix our problems like he promised.
Then why did the republicans create this mess. We want to see his taxes to wrap him in and show the rest of the people the talking lying buffoon, as the Republican choice for President of the United States.
The Democrats helped create the mess with their home ownership program.
But regardless, when you have no money in your pocket or your bank, your net worth has been wiped out by the real estate crash, you don't have a job and you don't know where your kids and grand kids are going to get the money to pay back the national debt, who cares what Romney did to minimize his taxes? There is a whole industry of professionals dedicated to helping people minimize their taxes. That's what people are supposed to do. Paying more taxes that you are required to pay is called stupidity.
Obama knew there were problems when he took the job. In fact he got the job by pointing out the problems. He said he would fix them and he hasn't done it. That's why he wants us to talk about Romney's tax returns. This is nothing but a distraction from what we really need to be talking about before election day.

He’s cutting the military, he’s run up the debt, he’s failed to reduce unemployment, failed to get the economy back on track, he’s throwing our allies under the bus one by one, he’s appeasing our enemies, he has no regard for the Constitution. I don’t care if he was born in Independence Hall or on the Moon. He’s in office and he needs to stop breaking things and start fixing things or get the hell out of there and let somebody else try something while we still have a country.
This isn’t left vs. right. Obama is hurting everybody. You and your grandchildren just like me and mine. If the mesmerized Obama supporters would snap out of it they could see. Hillary knows. She wouldn’t accept the VP nomination if it came with a check for $10 million. If Obama gets re-elected the Democrats will be toxic for 20 years after 2016.
The health care bill is going to further hurt the economy by costing at least twice as much as projected. Carville knows. He was hoping it would get overturned. Panetta knows Obama is dangerously weakening the military. Jimmy Carter stopped just short of calling him a war criminal over these drone strikes. The Russians apparently put a nuclear sub practically in his bathtub for the past month. They’re laughing at him.

Willard didn’t say he paid 13 percent of his income in federal taxes every year for the past decade.
"I did go back and look at my taxes and over the past 10 years I never paid less than 13 percent," Romney told reporters after landing in South Carolina for a fundraising event Thursday. "I think the most recent year is 13.6 or something like that. So I paid taxes every single year."
